i find very funny how everyone in the island knows that q!philza is really good at pvp, like even out of rp viewers from all communities know this, know how good he is bc it’s always implied. And then, there is fucking q!roier ….. silly q!roier who is secretly really good at pvp but is always goofing around bc he doesnt want anyone to think he is a “tryhard” so no one in the island and out of rp (besides q!spreen) knows that he is actually very fucking good at fighting and a nerd, he just never activates his tryhard mode bc why would he? Silly guy just wants to have fun and be silly, there is no need to take things seriously and he doesnt want to be taken seriously either …. bc once again, he’s just a lil guy being silly <3

does anyone have any recommendations for vocal synth discords? preferably ones where lesser known vocaloids are talked about. idc how small the server size is as long as they dont mind new ppl coming in

ive tried looking w disboard before, but larger servers are just intimidating esp when u have ppl largely coming in just to talk about crypton loids and MAYBE gumi/flower/fukase.. and then the other servers ive tried have been smallish servers with more teens, so i felt odd talking in there when the most active members are 14ish (and im 20)

COMMUNICATING WITH ALTERS

building communication as a system can be difficult, and there are many different ways to communicate with alters, so i want to talk about some of the different ways and give some advice and examples in this post INTERNAL COMMUNICATION internal communication can come in many different forms, such as passive influence, speaking to other alters in your head, sharing images between each other, etc. passive influence is a common form of internal communication that often happens unintentionally, some ways to recognize when this is occurring is identifying a feeling that feels "other", something that feels like its not coming from you. this can be another thought, another emotion, another desire, etc. and try to identify who it could be coming from. this can help to improve communication, you can also ask if anyone is influencing you or around front at the time and see if you get a response speaking to other alters internally is another form of internal communication that often takes a bit more effort, the best way i can describe it is like passing thoughts back and forth. the other thoughts do not come from you, and its like having a conversation with someone else in your mind. this can be difficult to do without a lot of work, but a good way to start doing this could be asking if anyone has any input on your daily activities and just see if anyone has anything to say! you may get an answer, or you may not, and either way is okay! it takes time to build any form of communication EXTERNAL COMMUNICATION external communication is often easier than internal communication, and is often done in the form of leaving notes for other alters when they front. these notes can be left in a private discord server, in a phone notes app, in a journal, or anywhere likely to be checked by other alters the best advice i have for building external communication is to leave a note in a place that you know other alters would check, and just wait for a reply when you switch. once you have established some form of communication, then you can move the notes to wherever you want to permanently keep them, whether this be a notes app, private server, or wherever else. communicate this to other alters, so they know where to check OTHER ADVICE some alters may not be ready to communicate yet, this is okay. it comes with time. do not force an alter who isnt ready to communicate to communicate with you, as you may not be ready to know what they hold or meet them yet for a number of reasons if you are first meeting the alter(s) you are trying to communicate with, it may help to write some form of introduction where you introduce yourself and ask about them. keep in mind they may not be willing to share information about themselves yet and this is okay once you establish communication, it will take some level of maintaining. it is a consistent effort and not just a one-time thing - grey

kamikou second years hcs!! because i think they are the sillest:

- they have lunch together c: 3/4 vbs already do, mizuki and nene join them whenever tsukasa and rui's schedules don't match (and whenever mizuki comes to school in the first place)

- both an and akito will ration off their tomatoes/carrots to whoever will take them (usually toya) (mizuki will sometimes take akito's carrots in the same way they do for ena whenever they go out together)

- they have a nightcord server for the five of them (mizuki's nickname in it is 'vbs hater' because they argue that a benchmark to getting famous is having haters)

- an and akito pass notes during class ("your stupid" "youre* stupider" "stupider isnt a word, stupid" "idc youre stupidest" or "describe kohane in 3 words without using hamster GO" "tiny adorable creature. now do toya" "tall pretty boy")

- toya is in contact with nene to make sure his two idiots are actually keeping up with schoolwork. nene is aware of toya and kohane's 7 step plan that has not progressed past step 2 for almost a month now

- toya starts 2-B break time completely as per usual, ends break time with 10387362 ribbon accessories in his hair courtesy of mizuki. it makes him feel pretty

- similarly nene starts finding stars in her hair for no reason

- akito sits behind an in class and will fidget with her hair when he's bored. once he tried to remove all the stars in her hair to see what an looks like without them. he ends the school day with a pile of stars on his table and an still looks exactly the same

- the five of them have a combined calendar tracker app used to track homework and test dates (started back in 1-B with toya and nene, the other three got added in the second year)

- mizuki, upon finding out tsukasa is in the disciplinary committee, enlisted the help of akito to help break rules without being caught for fun (nothing serious, just minor inconveniences). mizuki's slyness and akito's ability to run the fuck away has caused many troubles for tsukasa on top of rui's existing shenaniganry

- whenever emu shows up to visit nene, the other four get unwittingly dragged into hiding her while searching for nene (who has mysteriously disappeared). emu ends up wearing akito's jacket with the hood up shoved behind toya while an distracts anyone who looks at them. mizuki, upon seeing this, initially assumed the three of them have finally snapped and decided to smuggle kohane into kamikou (they end up helping out by getting rui in on it) (tsukasa found out eventually but didn't have the heart to actually turn her in)

apologies for long ask i just love these five a lot and their adjacent friends :)

I LOVE THEM also somehow them managing to make emu more suspicious than just her normally walking 💀ALSO HELP, THE RULE BREAKING?? poor tsukasa, man. - 🥞

LMAOO i can see them doing that last one genuinely. very specific amount of ribbon accessories but he will look very pretty <3 (i am normal about toya) "tiny adorable creature" and "tall pretty boy" are very good descriptions from very gay people 👍 - 🎀

people keep saying that qsmpblr is open to criticism but every day i believe it less. like ive seen more people open to criticism (if not criticizing stuff themselves) of quackitys/qstudios actions on twitter (where people are notorious for sending death threats at the slightest expression of dislike) than on tumblr. the tweets ive seen sharing the translation(s) on twitter have thousands of likes and hundreds/thousands of retweets, lots of people there are actually talking about it, and not just the ones who already were before leas interview (like the majority of people i see discussing it here on tumblr)

and the toxic positivity i see from people on tumblr about this is wild, refusing to look anywhere but the brightest side and suppressing any negative feelings or outlooks (including from others, but i saw that more in the first few weeks). its ok to not be ok with whats happening.

i do think its partially an issue of the community on tumblr being smaller so anyone who does want to share their criticism is wary of the fact that they might be quietly ousted from the community and lose friends and mutuals over it, or worse harrassed about it. i think its part of the reason the more "harsh" criticisms you (general you) see of the server or qstudios or quackity is are from anon asks on blogs that have shown theyre open to actual discussion, because it means that they dont have to be "open" on their own blogs about the fact theyre not waiting with no reassurance of real change actually (including myself in this, ive gone on a ramble or two in some peoples asks)

and also even before the workplace abuse came out, any criticism of lore seemingly had to be disclaimered 10 times over about not hating anyone involved in the lore, not hating the admins, and not hating people who did enjoy it. and it seemed like anyone being critical is seen as sending hate unless they stated this every other line in their post. (exaggerating a little but you get my point)

and now with WORKPLACE ABUSE.... at first you had the disclaimer that "quackity didnt know" (still bad??? he should know whats going on in his own company???), and then (and still now) the "just wait and trust theyre working on it" (when we still have no proof from them of any changes besides firing half their staff, and as far as we know still no contact with the people who were affected by their labour rights violations for any testimony? why should i trust qstudios), and NOW the tearing apart of everything lea says or does in order to somehow discredit her (because shes not a perfect virtuous pure sinless victim, but instead outspoken about the abuses she faced), as if discrediting her as the first to speak out will put the multiple other corroborating testimonies back in the skeleton filled closet..

idk this got kinda rambly TLDR qsmpblr isnt actually "open to criticism" beyond the mildest possible and they never have been.

Oh lord don't you know it. I had some interesting asks with very choice words in it back when I criticized the way people treated Jaiden & Baghera regularly ! Qsmpblr is possible to have a nicer experience because it is so much smaller, but having a smaller experience means you are at risk for different issues just as much as you are for a bigger one !

discourse topic; the rampant bbh neg in this community and the misunderstanding of what fail rp is, by definition.

its REALLY rubbing me wrong how i only see discourse about BAD "fail rping" by still playing on the main server. like. bagi is doing the same thing? etoiles has done the same thing (logged on tuesday and hung with foolish)? i dont see anyone discussing that? and this is NOT to hate on them, not at all, im just pointing out how a lot if the hate is VERY focused. and its becoming apparent you guys just fucking hate bbh i think.

it also gets on my nerves its being CALLED fail rp in the first place. bc its not. both bagi and bad have made cases to justify them still wanting to be able to take a chill pill and play on the main server in lore, and those justifications are VALID and MAKE SENSE - which they DONT EVEN HAVE TO DO BTW AND ARE DOING IT JUST FOR YOU GUYS! the admins are ALLOWING creators to still play on the main island if they want. its not like theyre breaking a sacred rule set by the admins by doing this. because it does not fucking matter!

bagi has tried to justify this by saying who she is on the main island currently is a robot - emergency bagi - she made for times like these (i believe).

bad has tried to justify it by saying he split himself in 3 and left 2 thirds on the main island and let the more violent third go to purgatory - which is a plausible thing because he is a demon.

the definition of fail rp is as follows;

" when a person fails to roleplay properly, whether that be through going down an unrealistic RP or intentionally disrupting the roleplay of other's by trolling. "

in neither case is it fail rp because it isnt unrealistic for who their characters are (bagi seems like the type to have that ready easily, and bads a fucking demon what do you want from him) and they arent disrupting others roleplays by existing like this.

and its really getting on my nerves because, once again, they dont even HAVE to do this really. they dont have to justify something the admins are letting them do freely. they dont have to justify wanting to take a chill pill because purgatory is stressful. but they are. because of YOU GUYS. THE AUDIENCE. but you are not fucking listening at all.

me when tumblr is becoming JUST like twitter with the constant mindless bbh neg.. mon dieu..

id also like to note this comes from someone who doesnt always watch bad and bagi unless for lore; and this comes from the 'bias' i suppose of a fitmc main watcher. so take it as you will. i am not defending bbh because he is my main or a fav i am doing it because i find its super unfair and stupid (<- not the right word but english is not englishing) what is occuring in this discourse.

TLDR; you guys focus hate on bbh too much and also if you just take a moment and listen it makes sense the lore reason he (and bagi) have made for this and by definition is not fail rp.

cwilbur and cschlatt are sooooo childhood family friends that drifted apart as their families did and when they reunite one day they want to pretend everything is the same but it isnt they don’t know each other anymore and the grain of resentment for being abandoned has built up to a pearl of hatred in each of their skulls

god yeah i. the way i see them is like. like my actual thought of how they met and how their relationship progressed is that they met when wilbur was like 12 and had snuck off phil’s hardcore world for the first time and met schlatt who was like 11 and they were immediately fucking inseparable just two asshole kids who loved getting into trouble and traveled from server to server bc wilbur’s dad is gone a lot of the time and schlatt doesn’t have anyone so they have Ages to cause a ruckus, and occasionally phil has to bail them out when the cute young kid act stops working, and they were definitely like Boy best friends who definitely were at least slightly in love with each other At Some Point. but they both also have a jealous streak, a need to be better than the other, and this tends to end with them blowing up on each other or leaving the other in a random server if they feel outdone, they just hate the idea of someone being better than them and this slowly turns to actual resentment toward each other. does not help when niki joins the mix and she likes wilbur more/does not like schlatt much at all. one of the times schlatt blew up on wilbur and left him is actually when i imagine wilbur met tommy. like he needed help with a job and he thought about getting niki for it but he found this weird grubby 8 year old (wilbur’s like. sixteen at this point?) in the sewers and thought Well okay i guess i can hang out with him for a couple days so i can do this job. and they become bonded for life. and obviously schlatt still comes into wilbur’s life, and niki hates him but tommy loves him, but it becomes less schlatt and wilbur adventures and more tommy and wilbur adventures, which is just another thing schlatt resents. but eventually they meet up again more “long-term” (not actually that long-term) on smplive and things are almost the same. but they’ll never be the same again. and when wilbur asks schlatt to come to dsmp to vie for him in the election, well. we all know what happens lmao.

Aita for having a secret soulmate?

So for context, i (30 M) am in a sever with my friend (41 M). In this server we play like death games and this is the 3rd time we’ve done this. Every game we have new gimmick of sorts, and for this one its having our health tied to another player, or your “soulmate.” My friend and i were linked and, while i love him to bits and he is my best friend after all, this isnt the first time we've been “linked.” And he was well… not the best at staying alive. So i decided it would be better if we weren't together. I mean your soulmate isn't entitled to you, you dont HAVE to stick together.

So i did what any reasonable person did and decided to see if anyone was having trouble with there soulmate, which is when i found another player (33M), we’ll call B. I had already known who B was from past games, and while we weren't “close”, he always a really kind and considerate towards others. A safe place in the storm you could say. So after he had a few… unwanted complications with his soulmate, I thought that it would be ok if i helped him out a bit, be better soulmate for him, someone that we could turn to. And i was right, he was everything i could want and more! He was the best soulmate anyone could ask for, he was my soulmate! my secret soulmate… although it was great, he was partners with a guy (41 M) who hasn't exactly been on my side all to often, and hes quite headstrong when it comes to things, often taking drastic measures to get what he wants, and i knew that having him as an enemy wasnt something i wanted. Plus i knew my friend would not be happy with this. So we kept it a secret, and it was fine until two days ago. He came to me and gave me some cookies, which i thought were nice, that was until he said that they were “for your secret soulmate…” I think he's known for a little while as hes been a bit cold recently and as of now its only gotten worse.

I always thought the excuse of Vivziepop's screenshot "being faked to make her look bad" are funny and ver made sense, because i think that if that if that were the case, there would be WORSE things about her in those "edits".

Because, usually, when you fake things with the intentions of ruining the reputation of an internet e-celebrity, you would put really horrible shit that would make everyone want to support them inmediately, it needs to be something that everyone agrees is a bad things and that they think that everyone who does it is human scum.

The last case i remember of things being faked to ruin a youtuber was the kwite case... and he was being acused of rape. It is always those things, when someone is being falsely acused of something is always sexual violence, grooming, stealing for others, really bad stuff like that.

Obviously, things like transphobia are really bad things, but not bad enough to destroy someone's career, you get me?

The sad truth is that trabsphobia is still really normalized and seen as ok by many people. There are a lot of celebrities that are openly transphobic yet they are still respected because the general public sees as "just their opinion" and if you dare to say thats bad you get attacked. So, if someone was truly faking shit to make someone look bad i highly doubt they would make them transphobic.

And with all the other stuff we see in those screenshot (underpaying her workers, talking shit about other proyects, etc) it isnt something that makes people wants to stop supporting her. Even some of the fans that belive in those screenshots defends them saying that those things arent "that bad" and that they are a "nothing burger".

So everytime a Vivzie stan says "The screenshots are clearly fake! Is really easy to fake Discord screenshots! To make her look bad!" I just think, dude, i think that if someone was faking documents to make her look bad they would be about her grooming a made up minor or saying that Hitler was misunderstud.

Besides, the way that Vivzie never addressed said screenshots, and only vage tweeted about the "antis" and "hatedom" while liking tweets of fans "debunking" (actually just saying "nuh-huh!" To all the shit revealed) her allegations, it makes me suspicious. Crazy idea, maybe the grown ass woman who has a story of being a bad person is simply a bad person on discord too? Crazy, i know.

That's another thing. If I or anyone else was going to go out of their way to fake Discord screenshots -- because it does take some time, and it does have limitations, especially when you have pages and pages of them like you do with Vivzie -- wouldn't it make more sense to just go all the way and say something that would ruin her on the spot?

Also, you need to have actually spoken to someone on Discord to do inspect element on their chats. I've never been in Vivzie's server or anywhere near her.

on an unrelated note, I wanted to ask: does anyone have any tumblr themes or ways to make posts chronological? We have roughly 150 episodes of UtahLIVE, and although most of them can be read out of order, there is a timeline (plus it would be more convenient for new readers. Ive gotten a lot of asks about topics or scenarios that have already been answered). If there are any tutorials/themes/tips let me know via DMs or ask box!

anon im holding your hand so tenderly and lovingly. it means a lot that people like my art! more than I can say, which is why ive been trying to figure out how to answer this ask for the past like... two+ weeks since you sent it in! Im probably gonna hold off on sharing my other accounts for a few reasons (there might be some people who already know my other blogs which is fine idc welcome to my twisted mind etc im just not going to advertise them here). My main blog is basically a spam blog where I dont tag anything. I dont really post original art and my fandom art is few and far between. 90% of my work just goes in discord DMs or servers 💀 I think the main reason though-and this may or may not make sense to some of you-is that I don’t want your opinion of me to change how you view the story. This is a super specific example, but for all my fic readers out there: have you ever joined an authors server, and then after meeting them you feel a bit odd about the fic since the creator isnt exactly the person you thought them to be (not necessarily in a good or bad way)? That’s exactly what I don’t want happening with this blog. Basically: Nooo what if you find out about me as a person and realize im cringeeee aaaaa [image of the werewolf transformation (you know the one)] That being said, we’ll see how things go, I guess! At the very least, I’ll probably put my socials out when I’m done here (we got a ways to go before that happens though, so dont even start to worry about that) that was a lot of text for one answer. yeesh 😬 sorry about that

What bothers me is how often people choose to see qFoolish as a bad guy. He’s not. He’s not GOOD necessarily but he’s not BAD either. That’s literally the entire point of his character.

You can’t say he’s BAD because he doesn’t go against the federation in the same way everyone else does. They do that because they are prisoners. Foolish isn’t a prisoner.

Foolish doesn’t wanna leave the island. We can assume he didn’t have anyone before this (excluding Mariana but who knows what that’s about). The island gave him a family. A purpose.

Is it selfish that he doesn’t care about the big fight against the federation? Yea maybe. But I can’t name a single person on that server that ISNT doing things for selfish reasons.

Is it bad that he’s working for the federation (regardless of his intentions)? Because at the end of the day he’s just gonna get girlbossed? Yep sure. But then you could say the same for anyone else working for the federation.

And if the issue is that his position hasn’t had the same benefits others infiltrating have, then maybe we should wait and see. He literally just got the job.

Im genuinely really disappointed in Kittycorn for the fact that despite kit's relatively large following, kittycorn has said NOTHING publically about palestine, despite having the power to lead a lot of people to a lot of resources.

“Kit doesn’t have much of an internet presence outside of Sparklecare!!!” Then explain to me why i see so many popular artists who barely share jackshit about their personal lives, not even their pronouns, and yet still reblog and share stuff about Palestine. Kittycorn has literally 0 excuse not to say *anything*.

there was this fanart of uni holding the palestinian flag and it was really accurate to the official artstyle, i thought it was official when i first saw it. and it had a shit ton of reblogs, including me on my main. i recognized so many names scrolling through the list. but wanna know who i DIDNT see? thats right, the official sparklecare blog. kits either ignoring it completely or actively dancing around the subject, which is NOT GOOD.

i am in no way trying to accuse kneeby or anyone on the sparklecare team of being a zionist, but i would definitely like to highlight the blatant ignorance the official blog has shown. this isnt the only time ive seen kneeby act this way, as kit also has #blm #acab in kits twitter bio but from what ive seen kits done absolutely nothing to actually raise awareness to said causes, which rubs me the wrong way since im black myself. however now kneebys completely avoiding doing anything, not even a hashtag anywhere. just a single announcement in a private discord.

and yes im putting fanart and au tags on this post, people need to notice this. do better.
