He came with you to get the tattoo because you needed "moral support", but instead you just wanted to surprise him. Once he saw the tattoo he was shocked but very happy; might've said "pog" at least a thousand times out of shock haha

This is one of the most famous Wilbur quote, and obviously you had to get a tattoo of it. When Wilbur first saw it he let out a laugh; not in a mocking matter, more in disbelief, but he does secretly love it even if he doesn't out right say it

He found the tattoo a bit funny and quiet adorable, even if he does question why you would have a tattoo of him

Wait which character assumed another characters gender??

qslime repeatedly calling qmariana she/her and referring to him as his bitch wife, which i constantly see slime viewers take as canon for qmariana's gender. not how rp works, folks!

i've been wanting to talk about it for ages but just. could not figure out how to word it without sounding too angry about it. but the persistent mischaracterization of qmariana by slime viewers combined with this idea that qslime "transed mariana's gender" by repeatedly misgendering him is actually nuts to me. slime calling mariana his "bitch wife" and using she/her pronouns for him on occasion does not in fact make mariana a woman nor a she/her or she/him pronouns user in canon. that makes qslime a terrible husband, that's it.

also the fact that the citation for "he/she pronouns" on mariana's wiki page is a clip from a quackity stream in which him and slime talk about mariana while he's not there is. telling. again, not how it works! if, for example, wilbur does not get to decide c!fundy's age, i do not think qslime gets to decide qmariana's gender. and this definitely should not be listed as canon on the fucking wiki.

and this is not me saying cc!slime sucks for this, i think fans are the problem here for deciding charlie's word is law. although i do wish he would stop with the bitch wife stuff it's really not funny to me at all

ok ill bite. whats this about turning block people into rock people (the gem au btw)

HOO BOY, I'VE HAD THIS AU IN MY MIND FOR A COUPLE OF MONTHS NOW:

so! general gist of the au's premise: the dsmp characters and (part of) the plot get put into a Steven Universe kind of world, where there are Gems (rock aliens that have no gender. i'm pretty sure that's canon) and humans. the characters, depending on what i think would be cool, are split between these two species. it doesn't follow the plot of SU exactly (there is no Gem-Human hybrid as the main character, most of the Diamonds are actually better than they were canonically. kinda, anyway, and what exactly caused the "Gem War" is different), but there are a few similarities.

so! PLOT TIME (i'll be using the Gem names, 'cause why not)

(i apologize how long this took, there is just. So Much)

there are four Diamonds: Green, Black, Pink, and Amber Diamond, in order of age (these are c!Dream, Bad, Eret, and Wilbur, respectively). each of them get their own colonies, and eventually, Amber gets his own (Earth and the Moon).

Pink and Amber are besties :]

unlike in the actual show, when Amber asks the others to leave Earth alone, as to not destroy the planet, that request is respected.

the problem? Amber is unable to "grow" his own Gems, meaning that he requires help from the other Diamonds

the other Diamonds give him a few extra Gems here and there, including "undesirable" Gems: "defective" Gems (have multiple things wrong with them by Homeworld's standards; generally aren't viewed as functioning well/properly), "off-color" Gems (not necessarily defective, but have some things off with them physically (wrong color, for example) and/or have wonky powers), and "rogue/rebel" Gems (have no desire to follow the purpose the Diamonds have chosen for their Gem Type; ex. a Quartz of any type doesn't want to be a soldier or guard. "rebel" is generally used when a Gem is "at risk" of being a "problem," and "rogue" is basically shorthand for "is currently a problem"). Amber would end up showing these Gems more kindness than the other Diamonds did (except for Pink, but due to Reasons (*cough* Green) she can't be as open about it as Amber does)

through this, Amber receives four Gems that he will come to consider family: a "rebel" Jade and an Obsidian from Black Diamond (Phil and Kristin), a "rogue" Rose Quartz from Pink (Techno), and a "rebel" Lapis Lazuli (Clementine).

how did they each get labeled this way? well...

Jade didn't just want to sit around and deal with High-Ranking Gem BS, he wanted to go explore!! maybe even build stuff (which is i recall from the show was a job for Bismuths)!! and the Obsidian? she just followed him when he was sent off.

Rose Quartz was...more violent than RQ's typically are (they're generally healing/guard Gems. but this is obviously Techno we're talking about here. plus Anarchy™), and while Pink is generally accepting like Amber is, he feels pressured by the other Diamonds (Green specifically), so they just gently send any "troublemakers" over to Amber.

and the Lapis Lazuli? well...they're generally pretty quiet, keep to themselves, and listen to orders pretty well. not this one: she pretty much came out of the ground loud, a bit rowdy, and just generally telling everyone to F**k Off. Amber had to go and get her from Green himself before that guy decided to shatter her or something. when they finally went down to Earth, her first words to Amber were something along the lines of "Did I do something wrong?" Amber assured her that she didn't do anything wrong.

and now we have SBI + Kristin :]

so yeah. if it wasn't obvious, Amber pretty much believes that Gems should just be allowed to do what they want, as long as they aren't hurting anyone.

the SBI learns from humans that names exist, and give each other names. they're the same ones that. y'know. the characters have (Amber is Wilbur, Lapis is Clem, etc.)

Amber and Green...didn't get along. So A War Starts!

things are fine...until Green gets one of his Quartzes (Punz) to assassinate/shatter Amber, only stating to leave no witnesses. which he does. but, oh, what's this? Clem Witnesses It But Is Hiding! So Quartz Doesn't See Her!

Green somehow covers the whole thing up. the other remaining Diamonds are suspicious, however (Pink more so than Black)

SBI, over the next few centuries, research to figure out how to bring Wilbur back. and they find one! but it basically requires the essence of the other Diamonds and a Rose Quartz's tears. they already have Techno, so now they need the Diamond's help. Clem offers to go do it

things go well when asking Pink and Black. it's with Green that problems start (because of course it is, right?)

so. she gets to Green. he eventually decides "f**k it, i'll help bring Amber back, everyone's too suspicious of me already." Clem gets the Diamond essence, and gets ready to leave.

and then she sees Quartz. and gets rightfully pissed off

Green, now realizing that there Was a witness to Wilbur's assassination, kind of...panics. and does the one thing that comes to mind for him to do.

he cracks her gem. Badly

now. here's the reason why that's bad: That's The Equivalent Of Attempting To Murder Someone And Putting Them Into A Coma.

given, y'know, that people Already suspect him of having some role to play in Wilbur's death, and that people would probably get Pissed if they figured out what he did, he decides to bubble her gem (something that Gems can do; they quite literally create a bubble around the object they're bubbling) and teleport that bubble to his "Bubble Room" (something else gems can have, apparently), and forces all the Gems that were in the Throne Room/Palace he has to keep quiet about what happened and claim that Clem just never arrived there.

some Gems who are technically witnesses, who Will be important later, are an Amethyst guard (Purpled; didn't tell anyone because he was a direct witness (heard the yelling and subsequent cracking of Clem's gemstone) and was honestly scared for his life should no one believe him) and a Brown Agate (Schlatt; didn't say anything because he genuinely didn't give a s**t).

Pink and Green despise each other after this :]

for the next 2,000 years, various different things happened:

two new Gems joined Green's Court: an "overcooked ('defective')" Bumblebee Jasper (Tubbo; is basically just much shorter than Jaspers are, a consequence of the Gem staying underground too long. he's also one of the spotty bumblebee jaspers :]) and a "defective" Snowflake Obsidian (Ranboo; is technically a perma-fusion from birth. two gems combined before Ranboo was "born," thus making Ranboo a fusion. they literally cannot unfuse, because he will die). these two hate their jobs. due to Ranboo's circumstances (which, keep in mind, is something out of his control), they are practically treated like a Pearl (literally a servant Gem. like, they are the lowest on the Gem Hierarchy due to something Ranboo Can't Control. like, his options are either to Literally Die or be treated like a servant).

Clem is stuck in a Limbo between life and death

the rest of the SBI and a bunch of corrupted Gems are still on Earth. the other members of SBI view what happened to Clem as a threat.

Brown Agate is sent on missions with an Azurite (Quackity; relatively High-Ranking Gem in Black Diamond's Court) and a Pyrite (Foolish; not technically a High-Ranking Gem, but Pink is really close to him, so they made him High-Ranking because F**k Green, She Does What She Wants <3). these three basically hate each other, but Azurite and Pyrite hate each other less.

so...in the show, the Diamonds created a Human Zoo. in the show, this was to preserve humans so that they wouldn't go extinct from the Earth getting destroyed. in this au, it's because Gems genuinely don't understand that humans are sentient too. so like, this wasn't entirely done out of malice. again, not entirely

so...now that we've got caught up on the past two millennia, now let's enter the 21st century! :D

now we finally get introduced to some humans :]

Puffy: a sailor/fisherwoman who lives in a seaside town with her adopted daughter Michelle. she has always dreamed of adventure, maybe even a sea adventure :]

Niki and Jack: live in a small town. Niki is a baker and Jack works at a motel in town :]

Ponk: lives in the same town as Puffy. they're a doctor :]

Fundy: a teen interested in coding and stuff. doesn't have..the best home life, but it doesn't deter him from his coding dreams. he lives in the same town as Niki and Jack :]

so. had thoughts about a dsmp pokemon au.

Clem is like N from Black & White: she can understand, and even speak to, pokemon.

Dream can't. understand them, per se, but he knows like. body language and stuff. y'know what i mean.

Clem was practically raised in the wild by pokemon, three of which are the rest of SBI (Phil is a Corviknight, because Crow, Techno is an Emboar, because Pig, and Wil is a Zoroark, purely because Vibes). they've also got a Leavanny (i think those pokemon sew, like i remember that being a thing), an Eevee (that eventually evolves into a Sylveon), and a Fennekin (Fundy; Wilbur found him and brought him back).

Tubbo and Ranboo are trainers alongside Clem. Tubbo is a Grass and Steel trainer, and Ranboo is a Psychic, Dark, and sometimes Ghost trainer. they both found a Tepig, and they both care for him (guess who this is :])

here's some various things that happen, some funny and wholesome, and others...less so:

- Clem just wandered out of the woods one day, and she met Tubbo after entering the nearby town.

- Clem will sometimes, mid-battle, tell the other trainer if their pokemon isn't doing too hot, even if this hurts her chances at winning the battle. she cares for all the pokemon; she was practically raised by them, after all.

- so. Zoroarks aren't able to actually shapeshift, but they can practically cast an illusion around themself that functions like shapeshifting, and it can even allow them to replicate human speech. Wilbur uses it to look human, so that Clem doesn't have to get people Losing It over the fact that Clem does, in fact, have a pokemon for an older brother.

- c!Prime stuff does still happen. unfortunately

- literally none of Clem's team like Dream. at all. Wilbur is almost constantly glaring daggers at Dream, as a human and as a pokemon.

- Clem is one of those trainers who doesn't keep their pokemon in pokeballs. yes, this does mean that it's constantly followed by six whole pokemon. well, it appears to everyone else like five whole pokemon plus A Random Tall Man With Curly Brown Hair. because Wilbur's a Zoroark

- due to growing up with pokemon in the wilderness, Clem is a lot more knowledgeable in certain survival skills, and it makes them look a bit weird. for example:

Ranboo, coming across a berry tree: aw man, i don't think we can get any berries :( it's fine, we'll just get to a store and-

Clem, who already climbed up the tree and got multiple berries, and is currently handing some to Tubbo:

- so. funny thing: due to Wilbur being known as Clem's Very Human Older Brother, while also being a part of her pokemon team, makes gym battles. Rather Interesting:

Wilbur, clearly exasperated and mildly injured, coming up to hug Clem after she won a gym badge: Wow Clem, you did so well, i'm proud of you! :]

Quackity, who saw five pokemon walk in with the Crimeboys, and then remembers Wilbur "mysteriously" disappearing right before the battle, and then Clem suddenly had six pokemon:

(yeah, no /r c!TNTduo here. but there is c!Quackcicle though. fun fact: Quackity is a Dark-Flying type gym leader. guess what his gym is based off of)

okay so this is going to sound a little weird but whenever you do a comparison/redraw of your art tge new piece always feel so much more alive and mature! in particular the ranboo pride pieces come to mind where despite being drawn a year apart they have two completely different feels! the tubbo comparison you made a while back with your profile pic and your old tubbo drawing had the same vibes! the new pieces feel like your drawing an actual person if that makes any sense. like whether it’s the colors or the composition older pieces just feel stagnant, like you are just making a drawing but new pieces feel like you’re creating a world/person/scene/they just have so much character and i can’t quite put it into words lol :p anyways! sorry about my mini ramble that probably made no sense and have a nice day <3

this is so sweet thank u!! i understand what you mean :) i think a lot of it is my use of undertones in shading that really brings a figure to life. back then i was still kind of just coloring in the lines, whereas now by doing lineart last, i can force myself to sculpt out the facial structures or clothing bulk using my colors, and THEN use the lineart to put visual priority on specific spots.

so for example:

here's two eret artworks! the left one was done june last year, and the right one was done around halloween when she poster her halloween costume pics :)

you can see how much heavier and intrusive the lineart is on the left, combined with a worse understanding of anatomy, and flatter colors (though that metfell technique is peeking in), the left does not feel as alive or..... advanced, i guess? as the right, which has clear evidence of looking at anatomy references, studying how corsets work, looking at how leather reflects light, and using undertones and multiple different colors in shadows and highlights to really bring that whimsical feeling to life that i think so much of my art has.

another example is this:

the left piece again- aside from being horrifically anatomically incorrect and a completely wrong body type in my opinion for c!wilbur- looks like i used only one brown to color the main body of the coat. which i did! a lot of my improvement as a traditional artist has come from expanding the amount of colors i have to work with. instead of using only 75 total marks i have around 200-300 markers. and in particular i focused on buying as many different skin tone options as i could find. and i think that's evident in the right wilbur art, which has many rich warm browns making up both his coat and his hair/tail. and again, i referenced my poses for the pride art series this year, and did not do that last year. so they absolutely feel more human! because im referencing humans!

(part I: "planes")

let's talk about cars.

rather, let's hear a story about cars.

actually let's tell stories about cars, and guns, for action. but first let's talk about airplanes. bigger examples make bigger points (it's just math) and stories are so exciting with planes and guns.

so here's an airplane:

(Wrong Right Wright Flyer; 1903)

she's not much of an airplane by today's standards. but boy she flew! it was the first sustained flight by a heavier-than-air powered craft. you better believe that shit was miraculous to watch, like the miracle of life itself. those flappity biplane anhedrals, flippity flapping away in the hopefully-not-too-blowy-breeze. Orville and Wilbur's eager little newborn doe, with a the weight of exploration visibly too heavy for the little creature's natal leg strength... and there she was, delicately hovering over real life water.

our brave little girl took her first dangerous steps, and her parents knew that only they were qualified to bring her home from that journey safely. they knew that it was the most important thing.

and they went with her for those first steps, ready to die for her.

but they didn't want to. they were ready to die to make sure it did not happen.

that was our little girl too. for better or worse, we raised her, and she was never meant to be perfect but she flew so well right there and then, that she might as well have been really actually perfect. she's still perfect when we remember her like this, even if she was reckless and required constant supervision.

because, of course she was reckless. she was only a child. she didn't need to die young. but her parents were just doing their best, with their whole lives, to protect her from the danger of that first flight.

but because of her, we learned to fly. and we learned to fly so well that we forgot that we were ever meant to be grounded. injury became so unheard of that death by flight became a joke. her sacrifice and that of her parents was so great that her children could fly without fear of death, and her grandchildren could fly without fear of injury, and then her great-grandchildren could fly without fear of anything at all.

now let's fast forward 100 years:

(Boring Boeing 737; 2003)

wait a sec, are these the same invention? that top thing looks like you'd have to hold on for dear life and bolt down your lunch, whereas this looks like a metal tube you've maybe stood inside yourself!

try to remember if you have: did you feel like you had to hold on to not fly out of the pressurized cabin? were you worried that your entire vessel would buckle at a strong wind and go crashing into a city below, killing you and possibly hundreds of others?

or did you feel at ease—peaceful, even—as you reclined in a cushy seat while being reassured by a safety-trained professional where all the emergency features are in the almost unheard-of case you need them?

now let's go back again, exactly 100 years—again. let's take a look at another invention:

(Ford Model A B C T; 1903)

here is a car. moreover, here is the first commercial car that was meant for "ordinary people" to buy and use.

like the Wright Flyer, we can see a couple of crucial design issues already: first, the inside doesn't offer much in the way of protecting the driver or passengers. yikes. on top of that, the outside is sharp hard metal that we're designing to send speeding alongside unprotected people at velocities that could easily kill them if they were struck.

so now, back to 2003:

(Ford Death150 F150; 2003)

ok, that's an improvement alright. the insides look well protected not just from wind, but from flying debris, animals, clouds of smog, lightning... i'm starting to feel a little closer to the airplane comfort in this thing.

but wait a second... we should take a good look at the death toll for aviation accidents. maybe we shouldn't get so excited yet?

gosh, over a hundred dead almost every year? looks like 2017 was a pretty decent year for minimal human death toll, i'd want my planes to look closer to that. or zero!

at least there's a clear delineation with regard to which direction the number is trending: down every year. at this rate, i have a lot more confidence that number will continue to improve every year!

well what's the death toll for these car things in 2003? surely it can't be as bad as a hundred (or god forbid more), right? surely not a thousand?

well, i don't know about you, but something that seems maybe self-evident to me at least is that there were some design flaws in the Wright Flyer that would have killed a lot of people, and those design flaws appear to have been all-but-eliminated in the course of 100 years. the Ford Model A, conversely, seems to have undergone some minor design tweaks that modestly improved the chance at life for anyone inside, and did nothing to improve it for those outside by 2003.

...and that was still considered an improvement??? man, i need to sit down (no it's cool, you take shotgun, i see a bench over there i'll grab near the bus stop).

There's been a history of people asking others to throw away valuables and attachments because the fight for them has caused problems (Tommy's discs, L'manberg, etc.) but I think there's been some confusion about what TNT means to Wilbur, and what Eret's crown meant to her.

"If you say in the first chapter that there is a rifle hanging on the wall, in the second or third chapter it absolutely must go off. If it’s not going to be fired, it shouldn’t be hanging there." That is Anton Chekhov's writing advice on narrative payoff, and this principle is what we have come to expect from cc!Wilbur's storytelling methods. c!Wilbur has never once made a weapon or worn armor without the intent to use it for violent means, even if it doesn't end up coming into play in the way he intended.

Eret correctly guessed that he still had some explosives left, perhaps by luck or because she knows him better than he thinks. I think Wilbur kept it in the first place as a contingency plan in case turning over a new leaf didn't work. If he was either planning to blow up something else, or himself, I don't know. But it's reasonable to expect that someone who has attempted to commit suicide once can definitely do so again. Even if Eret didn't specify that Wilbur was the person he could end up harm with his explosives, Eret did say "anyone" when he asked Wilbur to get rid of it. So I think asking him to commit to what his actions by giving up his contingency plan for if Niki or Tommy didn't forgive him, was the right thing to do.

Eret also merely guessed if Wilbur still had TNT. And she can't see Wilbur's enderchest contents, so he could have lied, or told her that it's his business what he owns. But he didn't. He agreed he should give it up, in pursuit of earning forgiveness.

Eret also gave up something. Her crown is not a mirror for Wilbur's TNT. But she recognizes it as a monument to her sins. When she had the L'Manbergians killed in the Final Control Room, she expected them to get over it, and for the conflict to end. But Wilbur didn't get over it, and neither did the rest of L'Manberg (rightly so, in my opinion). What Eret didn't understand at the time, is that she'd severed a tie that couldn't be fixed, not just with L'Manberg, but the rest of the server as well. She'd become The Traitor, someone no-one trusted, and the first catalyst to shake Wilbur's confidence in himself. Which is one of the reasons she put the "I'm Sorry" book in Wilbur's chest in the replica Final Control Room.

Eret's crown also came with zero authority of her own attached. No authority to successfully levy taxes or pass laws, even her attempt to knight her friends into her service failed. People stole from her storage room regularly with zero repercussions, and Dream told her, to her face, that he was the reason she had power and she had nothing without him, both when he dethroned her on Nov. 16th and during the small conflict with Mexican L'Manberg.

She has also failed to be the kind of leader she aspires to be. Because she acknowledges to Wilbur that her benchmark for good leadership has always been his example. She wanted to use her position as the King to rally people under a common goal and purpose, with the kind of passion and loyalty she'd experienced as a citizen of L'Manberg. Especially after Doomsday happened and L'Manberg was destroyed for good, when she thought the server needed security and belonging that was no longer present. And she failed to do so because she's not cut out for Wilbur's brand of charismatic leadership, and because people no longer trusted her.

Mind, I'm not listing these things because I think they're adequate karmic or narrative punishments for the things she has done, but they do show that things definitely didn't work out the way she wanted, and didn't have the effect she thought they would.

The crown was something she gained in her struggle to get one up on Wilbur, and so in making amends with him, it is something she wanted to discard. Throwing it away is a promise too, one Eret is making to Wilbur: to pursue peace instead of power.

Bit by bit, the two of them want to regain trust. They're not good people, no one better than the other. But they want to be better. This is a step in the right direction.

At the bottom of a crater covered with vines, is a damp, rotting pile of explosives. And a gilded crown, beginning to rust into the soil. Not left by a dead man and a puppet king, but by two hopeful people who wish to live.

🎱 - is c!ranboo a mary sue?

oh boy. oh you guys don't know what you've unearthed with this one.

so let's get into this. first off, what is a mary sue? the term mary sue was coined in a parody fanfiction of star trek, and was meant to satirize the widespread depiction of female ("self-insert") characters. this was back in like, 1970 or something if i remember correctly. the fic was published in a magazine, where the editors added: "Mary Sue stories—the adventures of the youngest and smartest ever person to graduate from the academy and ever get a commission at such a tender age. Usually characterized by unprecedented skill in everything from art to zoology, including karate and arm-wrestling. This character can also be found burrowing her way into the good graces/heart/mind of one of the Big Three, if not all three at once. She saves the day by her wit and ability, and, if we are lucky, has the good grace to die at the end, being grieved by the entire ship." a mary sue must be these things: unusually adept at skills she should not have the ability/knowledge of, have the ability to charm/win over any character by doing so much as existing, easily resolve the conflict by themselves, and often die to be grieved and lamented by the rest of the cast.

is c!ranboo adept at skills he should have no knowledge of? not really. if anything, he's kind of cringefail at most things. ender doesn't count, as there's a VERY plausible explanation for that that doesn't require the audience to reach in the slightest.

does c!ranboo win over the hearts of people by just existing? also no. c!wilbur is a great example, as he saw ranboo and instantly decided that he hated his guts. mary sues are characterized by instantly falling in love with the character. most people didn't do that with c!ranboo; they got to know him, then formed an opinion. if there was an instant connection, it's a meta reason due to the ccs knowing each other outside of role play.

does he easily resolve the conflict? nope. he kind of makes it worse, actually. like, fairly often. his whole "neutrality" bit makes it kind of impossible for him to resolve conflicts, with very few exceptions.

does he die only for the entire cast to grieve? he dies. that much is true. but the important thing of a mary sue characterization is that EVERYONE laments the death. only those close to c!ranboo do, which makes sense, because that's how it works. people close to the deceased mourn them, and those who don't know him don't really give a fuck.

so no, i don't think c!ranboo is a mary sue. and even if he was, the stigma around these types of characters need to end, for reasons i'll go into in the notes to save y'all from hearing my bitching for any longer

Do you have any Anohana AU ideas? What are they? (I've never heard of Anohana so I'm very interested)

Ohh, okay okay!

So, to put in simply, Anohana's an anime about six friends who are all very close as kids, until one of them dies due to an accident. This causes them all to separate and disconnect. But a couple years later, the dead girl returns. Kinda, because she can only be seen by one of her friends, and she has a wish to grant. A wish she doesn't remember. So the story's about the friends reuniting to help fulfill their dead friend's wish so she can pass on.

It's a fairly simple premise; like, parts of it have been done aplenty in DSMP fics, even without taking inspiration from it. But it's just... the way this story explores grief (see: How They Don't Cope), and guilt and letting go, it's some of my favorite writing in anime. It's one of my favorite anime ever, right up there with FMA: Brotherhood, Violet Evergarden, and Cowboy Bebop. I highly recommend it.

So, just from the premise alone, it's such a great opportunity to do some great character writing! Adding in beats of the storyline really makes it all the more heartwrenching, though (POPPO MY SWEET BOY!!!)! You can take any six characters in the DSMP who have connections and work from there. I can see c!Wilbur being the one who dies, and SBI + Kristin all as kids who are the ones struggling to move on, for example!

Where did the fanbase (and by fanbase I mean twitch chat) get the idea that explosions/griefing = fun and entertaining

Sure maybe in the moment, but that doesn’t make anything happen long-term and gets really boring when it’s done so fucking often. It’s just not narratively interesting unless there’s some sort of actual reason for the destruction

Take L’Manberg for example, the explosions were entertaining, not because of the destruction itself, but because of the narrative leadup that built to that. There was more going on than just the explosions, there was building, community, hope, verbal altercations, etc. If we (twitch chat) just keep begging CCs to blow stuff up all the time for no reason, it becomes just a hopeless wasteland

Like, I remember once recently I was watching a very nice relaxing Aimsey stream where he was just going around the DSMP having a nice time, but the entire chat was basically begging her to blow up anything she walked past. cc!Aimsey even started questioning if their character was boring because they weren’t blowing anything up like NO honey you are the opposite of boring because of that

Personally I have had an absolutely miserable time watching DSMP lately, and have simply stopped watching DSMP streams altogether for the past month unless its a c!Wilbur lore stream or if Ranboo logs on. Other than that it’s just been too depressing and boring. Same shit happening. CC gets bored -> CC starts blowing up random stuff on the server -> CC logs off and we see a decline in activity once again. It’s getting real old. Just go play bedwars or something if you’re so bored fuckin hell

expanding on my last ask, i feel like c!eret demanding an apology for pogtopia is a good example. she seems to think that offering/trying to help them should have redeemed her in their eyes, without acknowledging the (very good) reasons they, especially c!wilbur, had to mistrust her.

also, cwilbur doesnt even remember that help because he was dealing with his own multitude of personal and external issues at the time so like. why would he care that ceret is tryna get her redemption arc. this aint about you

(Just an idea i though of while taking a break from writing one of my fic chapters. It can be used as a headcanon or art prompt)

What if dsmp characters' blood bled the color that represented the god they followed or claimed. Like the default would probably be red as normal for those who did not follow a god buts different for others.

For Example:

C!Wilbur & C!Philza would bleed black blood (Goddess of Death)

C!George & C!Foolish would bleed green blood (Dream XD)

C!Technoblade would bleeds a darker shade of red that nearly looks black (Blood God)

C!Dream would bleed a spiral of blue, green, and purple blood (GeorgeHD, DreamXD, Church Prime/Lady Prime)

C!Tommy would also bleed a spiral but it's black and purple (Goddess of Death and Church Prime/Lady Prime)

Sidenote:

The Egg is like a eldricate being, kinda god-ish thing so it was infects the blood color of the Eggpire. I'd say white blood but its more of a light in a liquid-ish. Kinda like how mercury would flow in its liquid state. For example of how that would work:

Puffy stabbed Antfrost and when her blade went through him, a bright light appearing. The light coated Puffy’s blade. When she pulled her blade out, the white light slipped off it with ease as Antfrost fell to the ground.
