Seeing as how it’s still July 4th in much of the western hemisphere, Happy Independence Day to those of my followers who live in the States!  And happy...uh...bald eagle drawing to everybody else...?

#the world isn't in your books and maps #my trash #/end classification tags #the fun thing is that i'm queueing this ahead of time and will be camping when it goes up #so there's a chance i might actually be seeing a bald eagle in the wild as you all are seeing this #which is kinda cool #next up: seeing a hobbit on the day i post a drawing of a hobbit #or even better posting a picture of a hobbit on hobbit day and then seeing a hobbit on that same hobbit day #what do you guys think are the chances of that happening? #i'm going to say about 1% because you never know #i actually remember the first time i saw a bald eagle in the wild and i was like ''???!!'' #for some reason i didn't realize they had such a large habitable territory and this one was just chilling #i thought i was seeing things #in all the photos you see they're soaring above majestic mountains and evergreen forests #and this one was just gliding along over a highway in the middle of a swamp #it wasn't quite the picturesque setting i would have expected to see one in #but it was still really striking because their white feathers are SO WHITE
