First time by Hozier is by far one of my favorite songs from the album. The lyrics go so well with portraying the relationship. Especially the flower verse. Explaining the cycle of relationships and love through the life cycle of a flower. The abrupt changes that can happen in both situations. "Drying out, then drowning blindly" when the flower gets picked it starts to dry out, only to be pushed in a vase of water.
