Phantom Thieves who has a favorite gacha character (it's you)

Summary: What if you were a character in a gacha game that the Phantom Thieves are currently raving about? Note: Got this idea since I am getting back into gacha games after a month-long hiatus from them. I was like... what if its THEM spending their time on thinking about a fictional character... Also this includes Sumire!

Futaba has been hearing about the talks of a new gacha game, and realized it had a fun multiplayer aspect to it. The game didn't demand much time in their daily quests, and can be played casually. She sent an invite to the Phantom Thieves, since there's a reward if a friend starts playing the game.

Akiren

He decided to check out the game after a busy day. He did not feel like doing anything productive, and thus proceeded to click download. He went through the introduction and through the list of characters available in-game. He landed on your page, and found you really adorable and interesting.

It was currently your banner, so he decided to try his luck on pulling for you. Unfortunately, he is very unlucky but he proceeded to grind through the game's content to get you. He got you at hard pity, and proceeded to spoil you with the best gears he could get his hands on. He really likes the story and finds the other characters interesting. However, he is at full focus when you are on the screen and only uses you during combat.

If you have a favorite food/signature dish, he would most likely try to recreate it. Futaba and Mona (if its safe for them) are his taste testers. He also has a figurine of you placed on the shelf with the rest of the souvenirs he got from his friends.

Ryuji

Sadly, he also wanted to send out invites for pulls but was bested by Futaba. He actually heard of the game before, and he already had a favorite character: you. Before the game was released, he was closely following updates, teasers, and trailers. He probably found you very cool either because of your role in the story or your move set/skills.

If your character is not a healer/shielder, he will almost always play you with one of those. Makes sure you are well-protected, and if you are near fainting, he will exit the area right away. Also, his plans to acquire new characters revolves around you now. When a new character comes out, he will be thinking if said character could benefit you somehow.

Most definitely has posters of you in his bedroom, and a keychain of you in his phone. If ever there's a plushie/gachapon of you near the arcade he hangs out at, best believe he will be there!

Ann

A bit of a gamer herself, she was actually familiar with the game and only got around to downloading it when Futaba sent the invite. As she goes around and explore the world, she met your character. Either you remind her of one of the heroines she admired, or she finds your strength inspiring, (maybe even both!) you quickly became one of her favorites. She really loves your story and always pays attention when you are in the spotlight!

Ann's luck is... alright. She's not blessed like Yusuke, but not so unlucky like Akira. Even so, she managed to get you and your weapon pretty quickly! Since the game is not that challenging, no matter what your role is, she will bring you with her in the journey. Even if the team had no synergy whatsoever.

She likes thinking up of clothes/accessories inspired by you. She incorporates some of this in her daily life. Like maybe you have a unique headpiece, then maybe she will find an equivalent and start wearing it daily.

Yusuke

He got dragged into it, and decided to give it a chance. He greatly appreciates the game design, and environmental feel. As he meets all sorts of characters, he gets inspirations for each and every one. When he meets you, however, he admired your design for a moment before continuing. He really likes your overall aesthetic, and he can either relate to your experiences/or find you fascinating.

When he pulls for you, it was pure luck because he got both you and your weapon in one 10 pull. Futaba was jealous, Ryuji was stunned, Ann wished it was her, and Haru congratulated him. "This is not normal?" He asked, and it got mixed reactions from the crowd.

He rarely picks up the game, but when he does he always makes sure to set you as the character to greet him. He sometimes find inspiration/ideas after playing, and you have been the subject in a few art pieces of his. He realizes that whenever he is stuck in an impasse, sketching you or playing the game helps him get back on track. He also liked seeing fanart of you that were made by other fans.

Makoto

Also got dragged into it, and decided to check it out for Futaba. Might ask for help for the terminologies used in game, and the group chat gladly supplies information. She liked the storytelling of the game, and then she met your character. You quickly became a favorite because you were admirable.

In terms of merch collection, she goes for the ones that are useful like her Buchimaru-kun pencil case. If you have merch like a coffee mug or binder, she will go for that instead of a huge plushie or poster. She cherishes it just like she does with Buchimaru-kun.

Even if she does not drop the game because of her responsibilities, she still rarely plays it. Despite that, she might login if you have an event or role in the current story. Keyword is might.

Futaba

Truthfully, she only sent the invites out to get more of the currency used for pulling. While she already had you, she wanted to get more copies to make you stronger, or wanted to pull for a weapon that will greatly benefit you. Although, before that she made multiple accounts just so she can get you on the first ten pulls. It was quite an arduous progress.

She is very active in the fandom, and is probably a well-known figure within various social media. Most definitely runs an account dedicated to you, and also posts various headcanon/character interpretations of yours. She also gives the best advice on how to gear you up, and could be good with advising on how to build others when asked.

She has a lot of your merchandise, and is one the reasons she sometimes goes out. If you have a favorite food/signature dish, she might ask Sojiro or Joker to have it made for her. She also tends to talk about you a lot, either with Sumire or Joker. They start liking you through osmosis as well.

Haru

She was already playing the game when Futaba sent the invite. You were her favorite character because of your view on justice and/or you feel like someone she would get along with! She is cheering for you when you fight, her heart aches when you're sad, and she smiles when you triumph!

Safe to say that you are already maxed leveled, and fully built with the best gears. She also has quite the collection when it comes to your merchandise. She is a lurker in the fandom, she likes leaving likes or a few short comments on certain fan arts of you. Sometimes when she feels sad or feels like she needs that extra push, she will login the game quickly just to hear your encouragements.

Even when she's no longer as interested on the game as she was before, she still logins every once in a while just to see you. It was as if she was checking in on a friend; you hold a very special place in her heart.

Goro

Futaba accidentally sent him an invite, but he decided to check the contents anyways. He was mindlessly exploring the game's mechanics and storyline when you caught his eyes. Your character probably had a compelling philosophy, or your outfit/moves reminded him of Featherman.

He doesn't have time to grind through the content, so he probably spent money to obtain your character and all the gears you need. You are severely overpowered compared to his other characters. He does not have the time every day to login, but usually when he does it's mainly to listen to you. He really likes hearing your voice.

Outside of the game, he collects your merchandise diligently and displays them next to his Featherman figures. He also has some of your more 'discreet' merchandise on him at all times. He has a coffee mug with your symbol on it, and/or a keychain of an iconic part of your outfit connected to his phone.

Sumire

Futaba finally convinced her to play, so she decided to check it out! She heard a lot about your character through Futaba, so you were the one she was most interested in. When she finally sees you in-game, she was smiling. You became a favorite because of your kind nature, and/or your talents are similar to hers.

She plays the game casually, so when she finally got you, she does not bother getting the limited gears. She just enjoys exploring the world with you, and sometimes with Futaba and Joker.

It is unclear whether she continues playing the game, but she likes hearing updates about your character development, and your overall progression through the story from Futaba. She is cheering you on, from a far!

Fun Facts:

Her father is unfortunately gone forever. She lost him to a group of mermaid hunters at a young age.

She always wears at least one accessory with Abyssal Sea pearls on it. That’s because if she doesn’t wear any, her powers may get out of control. (The pearls sort of neutralize them and lets them control her powers better!)

Due to her having a pretty face, she tends to get asked out a lot of times throughout a week. She usually rejects them, but sometimes she accepts them to keep them by her side for a while.

She was struggling to keep up with her classes in her first year, so she had to repeat a year. But when in her second year, a terrible incident happened and caused her to rarely come in classes which caused her to repeat another year. In her third year, she transferred from Night Raven College to Hourglass Station Academy.

She used to be a Diasomnia student in her previous school.

Before she was transferred to Hourglass Station Academy, she was working as one of the singers in Octavinelle on a weekly basis.

She has overblotted before in the past, but was stopped in time and comforted by her best friends.

She actually comes from a wealthy family, but her mother, who is an opera singer who is blinded by greed, hid it from her until she was eighteen... She also raised her in poverty until she was taken in by the queen.

Not me getting random ideas on a Sonic Prime Robotnik version named Dr. Ivira Pyro who is as the name suggests, a pyromaniacal genius who is 26 years in age, who is in a world of more fashion themed world. With star shaped tinted glasses, pink snake bite piercings and a golden chain piercing on her Helix to Lobe with a star on the lobe for the earring part. (Yes I’m making this design interesting lol)

And for her clothing would be a red and yellow short suit jacket top with tails on the coat like you see in older fashioned tail coats. With black cargo pants, a red and gold corset on over her top and I did make a gacha version but I’m starting to make actual art of her and it’s coming along well so far! I’ll add the art on here soon!

So EEEEEEEEEEEE you can tell I have an obsession. But I’ll def think and add more on her universe. Where is not only an egotistical genius, but a fashion icon, considering her world is based off such ideals. Studs the echidna is just like knuckles, but is much more sassy and sarcastic. Wearing a black beanie, a studded belt, and black bejewelled boxing gloves, the rest of his appearance is the same except for a scar above his left eye he tells no one about.

Ruby being Rouge, obviously is the most bejewelled of the group, with a hot pinkish red leather jacket over her black ripped jeans, heels, and as usual heart shaped top, wearing the same lipstick she always did and now, has a green chaos emerald look alike as a necklace with a gold chairn.

Dual basically has most of the same details and personality wise, except he is not only inventing new doohickey’s, but fashion lines. Seeing that this world’s entirely wrapped around it. Yet somehow very often his whole stock is destroyed every month, as if someone is always wanting to stay on top of the world, instead of him.

Goliath is a shy and quiet model for Dual, who has catwalk fright…get it..? He’s a cat? CATwalk.- nvm lmao- but he knows how to act like he owns the place, and he is one of the most casual of the group, till they met PyRose.

PyRose is Dr. Ivira Pyro’s assistant in both the fashion industry and her secret profession. Wearing a pretty red dress like the original Amy Rose, with a calm and gentle nature who see’s the Doctor as a friend instead of enemy, Ivira does things for her as PyRose does things for her.

Dr. Ivira Pyro is a calm and talented young fashion icon and inventor, who happily speaks out to her adorers and fans, claiming to be a freedom activist, when she’s the one secretly pulling the strings of the governments around all of Idolistidome! Who knows what she’s truly plotting behind that sweet and innocent smile.

Even as a sugar baby, you're representing him, his image. He wants you to look like you've just walked out of one of his prized "collection" tanks. A treasure no one else can have.

You need to be tough to be in his orbit. He's sweet to you, of course, but he will murder and maim in front of you like it's nothing. You can have moments of weakness, but if he thinks you can't stomach it, sorry luv, but you're just not cutting it. A final check and a goodbye.

He's going to judge you if you spend your allowance money on stupid shit. In his mind, it should be useful or going towards things you know he likes (read: lingerie he likes to surprise him.) If it's school in particular, he wants to know your grades.

i barely hit 5’0” and have wavy dark brown (almost black) hair that reaches a little past my shoulders. i have brown eyes, and a few small sunspots on different parts of my face. as for my build, i’m a bit chubby and curvy. what i wear varies on the weather but no matter what, my outfit will always include at least one article of black clothing (my mom complains that everything i wear is black). i wear casual dresses or shorts with thin cardigans in the summer, but usually my go-to outfit is just a plain or graphic t-shirt tucked into jeans, with a cute belt on. people often mistake me for being 5’4” because i’m always wearing my platform boots. i also have a vast collection of cute earrings. i’m definitely introverted. i wouldn’t really call myself shy, just quiet and reserved if you don’t know me that well. i have anxiety, which can cause me to come across as awkward in my first few interactions with a person. however, once you get to know me and we’re close, i’m very chatty and am happy to joke around, talk about my interests or listen to yours, or hear you vent and give advice! i’m pretty social with my close group of friends, but i do still have days where i would prefer to have minimal interaction with people and just have some alone time. i’m a pushover, not gonna lie. i can’t stand conflict, so i’m a pretty big people pleaser, and will do almost anything i can to make things right, even if i’m not the one who made them wrong in the first place. however, this means i bottle things up and can be really passive aggressive. i canNOT hide my emotions and wear them all over my face. whether i’m super excited about something or pissed off, you’ll know, even if i don’t want you to. in my free time, i like to read, write, play video games, and watch anime! i’ve adored fantasy and sci-fi stuff since i was little, so those are my go-to genres whether i’m reading or writing. for video games, i mostly play RPGs like pokemon or kingdom hearts, or mobile gacha games, but i also play cod zombies a lot. i also have an absurd amount of hours in animal crossing. i enjoy decorating stationary, too, like notebooks or designing monthly calendars! some miscellaneous info: in college, i’m double majoring in creative writing and computer science. i can be VERY competitive in both board/party games and academics. i can pace and zone out while listening to music for HOURS if left alone. i also infodump a lot and for long periods of time if you don’t stop me.

eyeless jack

jack remembered you from back in college. the two of you never really talked, you weren’t even in the same department—he studied medical sciences—nor were you in the same year, but he had seen you around campus a few times and distinctly remembered you as attractive. he had always considered talking to you, but before he had the opportunity to, calamity struck, and he became a flesh-eating demon.

his memories of you soon faded into the distance, and he had nearly forgotten about your existence when he saw you again on an empty street at dusk. he instantly recognized you, and from there, he silently followed you home, watching you from afar.

it was just curiosity at first, a hint of nostalgia perhaps, but quickly it developed into something far darker, far more sinister.

the first thing he noticed was your looks, particularly your size. he liked how small you were. he’s grown quite a bit since college, what with being a demon and all, and he loved the idea of the size difference between the two of you. he didn’t have much of an opinion on your hair colour, though he liked the waves. he couldn’t see them too well from outside your window, but he did take note of your sunspots, finding them beautiful.

jack paid close attention to what you wore, and he had discovered a few things. namely, that platform boots looked good, and summer dresses with thin cardigans were exceptionally attractive on you. additionally, he liked that you wore earrings, and he’d remember all the different ones.

he was ecstatic to find out what you did in your spare time and just how much you had in common. he didn’t think the majority of people read anymore, let alone wrote, so it was a more than pleasant surprise to find out that you did. what was even better was that you liked the same genres as him. it was particularly delightful to him that you wrote, and he couldn’t help but read them in secret while you weren’t home.

he also quite liked video games and anime himself, especially kingdom hearts. he used to play a fair amount of cod zombies when he was younger, and even a bit of pokemon though he didn’t like it as much as other games. still, he found it relaxing to watch you play, in particular, animal crossing.

jack enjoyed watching you decorating stationary, but what he even liked more was taking them, having stolen one of your notebooks for himself, leaving you to wonder just how in the world you had lost it.

something jack really liked about you was that you were introverted. he, too, was an introverted person, not exactly shy either, but just not up for being around others constantly, and he found it relieving that you were the same way. still, he saw the way you interacted with your friends, and he longed for the day when you would act the same way with him.

he had mixed feelings about how passive you were. on the one hand, he hated how hard you tried to please others, especially how you’d act as a complete pushover for them when they clearly weren’t worth the effort or energy. on the other hand, that was exactly how he wanted you to be, just that he wanted it only for himself.

jack was good with being able to read people’s feelings, but he liked how obvious yours were; it made you all the more vulnerable to him. he also noticed that you could be passive-aggressive, though he didn’t think it’d be a problem for him.

he had also observed you pacing around, zoning out for lengthy periods of time, and it always made him curious as to what exactly you were doing or thinking about. he wanted so badly to know every thought on your mind.

sometimes the people around you would find out that you had much to say on certain topics. they wouldn’t always listen to everything, but jack would. he would mentally record each and every word you said. the majority of the time, he found the topic just as fascinating as you did. even if it was information he already knew, he realized that he liked it more after hearing you talk about it.

jack wanted you for himself; that much was clear. the only reason he hadn’t done it yet was because he wasn’t sure how to go about it.

he knew that you were in college, even double majoring, which he found rather impressive. however, he wasn’t well versed in terms of computer science himself. he admired the amount of effort you put into your studies and your dedication. he also found it cute how competitive you could be. as someone who went to college himself, though he didn’t finish it, he understood the value and importance of it to you.

and so he had a hard time deciding what to do with you. the monstrous side of him sought to simply rip you from your life, taking you away from everything that you’d known so that you could be his and his alone. however, he didn’t want you to be unhappy. he liked you so much partially because he thought the two of you would be good together, and forcing you into it would ruin the point.

ideally, you would be able to continue your studies while being with him, and so he decided that he would take you, bring you to him as gently as possible, carefully coax you into a life with him. hopefully, then, you will be able to resume your studying without a problem.

however, if nothing he did worked, or if you caused him to fear your escape, he’d give in to his impulses and decide your fate for you.

I want to like mobile games I do think it's nice to have little casual games that are in your pocket that you can play for 10 minutes a day without turning on your TV or computer but gacha design IS ruining the gaming industry in all aspects hey get on your knees and take off all your clothes

ROTTMNT x Monkie Kid crossover prompt idea: Teenage Mutant Ninja Monkey - EXTRA

Warning: English is not my first language so sorry if it’s confusing.

Hi again! ^^

So since my ROTTMNT x Monkie Kid post I decided to do a little post which show a whole chara design of Sandro by using Gacha.

Hope you’ll all like it! ^^

Here’s Sandro with and without his ninja mask, his face design is the amazing @alexglitches ‘s interpretation of Sandro’s design don’t hesitate to go take a look they’re awesome! ^^

I wasn’t able to find the extact same hairstyle thanthe one in @alexglitches ‘s design so I took one which is close so just imagine the hairstyle of alex’s design instead of the one in those pictures! ^^’

I know that in the prompt concept I normally described Sandro as wearing a ninja attire but in the end I thought it would fit him more to wear a mix of casual clothes and action clothes! :)

I’m just trying to figure out in what is it with some War Based Games such as Gacha Games or Military Shooter Games where we’re fighting against military organizations, militia terrorists, robotics, or aliens, and our own troops are either also military or professional looking, while the strongest and most skilled ones are wearing something outlandish or over the top, like outfits that a Final Fantasy, GTA, Saints Row, or Anime Character would wear like a suit, school uniform, kimono, dress, oversized or tight-fitting casual clothing, urban gangster attire, medieval themed costumes, something bought from a local costume store, or like the clothing store exploded and that they wore whatever landed on them.

And you know what? I fucking dig it.

Y-Yeah! I-It's more fun to have w-weird and colorful characters than it is t-to have boring m-military guys. A-At least I think so.

I’m going in with EXTREMELY low expectations of Fashion Dreamer - starting with thinking of it as Style Savvy/Girls Mode/Style Boutique’s Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer, since by all accounts removing the shop sim aspect with its budgets and specific customer requests and stock management (along with a lack of story mode) has removed pretty critical incentive structure to keep playing, and a gacha machine for designs IS NOT a suitable substitute!

Also because they didn’t just gender-lock fashion (okay, the bodies are called “Type A” and “Type B,” but it’s pretty blatantly obvious,) they gender-locked it so hard that SOCKS aren’t interchangeable.

There’s actually a tiny bit of variation in proportions and not just stretching the player model up to make it taller, at least for the Type A/girl one, so while you would need to account for pretty significant changes depending on the model I suspect it has more to do with the devs being cowards who won’t let male PCs wear dresses or even tights.

Because seriously. SOCKS.

(Are the guy fashions at least good, though? So far they’re pretty underwhelming, I know from the trailers that at least slightly more interesting fashion than Style Star’s “casual/preppy/basic, bold/rock, luxury” There Are Functionally Three Aesthetics, Maybe Four If Anyone Ever Comes In Asking For It, And They’re All Dull As Hell menswear EXISTS, but I’ve barely seen anything good on either side. Granted, I’ve played for maybe an hour so far? But… ugh, the tutorial here is WAY worse and a bit harder to navigate the menuing, you start with less clothes per NPC than you did in all but the most BLATANT basic tutorials in Style Savvy, and the requests aren’t as clear AND you can’t search by style.)

But I’ve decided I want to give this the fairest shot I can, and I DID like the designing in Fashion Forward and was disappointed when it got stripped back so hard in Style Star. So let’s see how it goes.

Tales From The Frontlog: Fashion Dreamer

I was able to belt out this review so quick because there’s not much to Fashion Dreamer. I got this less than 24 hours ago. So. Neat.

Firstly: I love it.

You dress up, make designs, dress up other people, and make a little in home store front for other people to look at. It’s stylish and fun.

But it’s not a game I would recommend to most people. It’s a very repetitive experience. Which actually isn’t a complaint. It’s relaxing and I can turn my brain off like I can for Picross. But even though I like it, I’m hesitant to call it… great.

Fashion Dreamer is plain bread and butter fashion. If you’re looking for something with a lots of side activities this isn’t it.

Fashion Dreamer has a gacha like system for what clothes you’ll run into next. Either on billboards, homes, or on other people. And getting designs to make on your own requires either a gacha or special currency to unlock the recipe.

There’s also a bingo game? This earns you pink star currency which is used for your “home” and creating designs. It’s fine. It needs a “Use 10 at a time” option like the gacha has.

Honestly? The most fun part are the lookits. People can design your character and send you the look they made. I find this to actually be insanely cool. I love it. I enjoy making nice things for other people.

And people put in real effort to make nice things for you too. You can see the thought put behind the outfits and I find that to be very sweet. There’s even a little guide to see their preferences, though following it isn’t required. I gave folks free range for me because… I like all the styles. I’m curious what people will come up with.

Love Nikki (Which is an amazing mobile fashion game. I played that every day for 3 years straight) had supremely spoiled me. It has a lot of small things that makes it great. (On top of being an RPG) but Fashion Dreamer really could take a note and make a few tweaks to make it a better experience.

For example: There’s no favorites button and the max clothing you can own is 5000. That’s insane. Why??? I don’t want to hunt through 5000 clothing items for certain things all the time? Just add it as a filter! Gah!

Speaking of the filter: a color filter. The game clearly recognizes color. Make a god damn color filter.

Also no “closet feature” so you can keep multiple looks saved for the one muse. Like come on, that’s a basic function. You can have multiple avatars, but that’s not the same thing.

Fashion Dreamer makes up for this by apparently being updated with new clothing and looks monthly (for free). In either December or January there will even be an event. So that’s cool!

Normally games like this are quite… lazy about providing styles that match all tastes. The design aspect of Fashion Dreamer could be a lot stronger. But Fashion Dreamer in general has a really good spread of “casual everyday” styles. Also there are men in the game and men’s fashion both fem and masculine. That’s cool. You love to see it.

Though while the men can wear some of the fem accessories, hairstyles, etc (and vice versa), it still adheres to a gender binary. You can look somewhat ambiguous, but that’s different than being allowed to wear the dresses and skirts. Mostly just mentioning that because… it’s disappointing.

Also. Just a side note (Just mentioning this because it’s funny), I made my model massive. I picked the tallest option. I stan a tall queen.

Nearly everyone I’ve seen seems to prefer the little chicken nugget models. So I’m walking through this game like a god damn GIANT when I see everyone else’s avatars.

Overall Fashion Dreamer is solid. But it’s a game where you have to manage your expectations. Kinda like a lot of games like it. You have to be aware it’s going to be a chill experience. And that’s okay.

Edit: WHY ARE THE CREDITS UNSKIPPABLE AND SO FUCKING LONG???
