Luke Earmuffs Skywalker:

One of my favorite traits of his, which I have lovingly nicknamed “earmuffs”, are these floppy tufts of hair that cover his ears, feeding into his more puppy-like appearance. I think he looks naked without them, and it’s one of the first things I look for when people draw him.

It's probably been 6 years since I've watched Shadowhunters and I'd actually sort of forgotten about it until recently. I was reminded of it and rewatched, and I'm still obsessing. The show in general isn't perfect, Jace/clary is a constant annoyance (to me at least), lol, and the parabatai thing can be a bit much, and I think they could've done more with certain storylines... but... it also makes me want to shout from the rooftops, "hey tv script writers, wanna see how to write a loving relationship? Watch this show."

Magnus and Alec have obstacles to overcome, there's miscommunication, they get mad at each other and argue and maybe stay away from each other for an episode or even break up for a minute mostly due to outside influences, not because they don't care about each other. But then they talk and work things out. They support and sacrifice and tell each other that they are loved and valued ALL THE TIME. There's enough stuff happening parallel to their relationship that things never get boring, I'm never tired of seeing them hang out together. They are relationship goals.

I wish more shows would let happy couples be happy and stop tearing them apart in crappy ways, like infidelity or in some cases, just because they can. If only there'd been a malec spin-off, i could watch that all day long.
