Foreclosures make me sad, b/c someone lost their home and you can tell that they loved it. The bank, as of today, cut their asking price $44.9K to $350K for this 1880 Victorian with 3bds, 3ba, in Lore City, Ohio. It does need some work, but it's a lovely home for the price.

Look at the ceiling in the entrance hall. Someone painted this so pretty, it reminds me of a birthday sheet cake. I hope whoever buys it, leaves it.

The railing railing is original and has the patina of use. Love the rounded wall and wall niche. The floor is painted, but original.

Original fireplace in the sitting room.

There's a matching ceiling in here, too. I love this, it looks like Victorian Barbie's house.

Dining room off the kitchen with an original fireplace that I would try to strip the old white paint off of.

Love the potential that the kitchen has. This has to be at least part of the original cooking hearth.

Nice piece of cabinetry and wonderful repro vintage stove.

The transom in this bedroom works and that's definitely the remains of an original fireplace.

The fireplace in this bedroom is intact.

The 3rd bd. also has the original fireplace and floor. I hope those pieces of blue tape on the fireplaces mean that they're to be demo'd.

The bath needs work. What do those blue strips mean?

This vintage bath is so pretty and even has a fireplace.

Outside are 2 beautiful porches, plus a garage.

A lot of house for $350K, plus .40 acre of land.
