Found & Tangled Poetry 1
in the garden
running riot
it’s the quiet time of day
sit
easily as anything
a marvellous day
the sun was shining gloriously
thrilling
I began to hope

Whalesongs
And when humpbacks sing—
in a voice that sounds like
a cross between Gregorian chant
and a haunting owl—
their songs can carry for miles underwater,
and often continue for hours.
Baby humpbacks whisper to their mothers.
Researchers have uncovered that songs
spread between humpback populations:
whales in Australia share their songs
with pods in French Polynesia,
who then pass those songs along
to others in Ecuador.

Gatsby found poem
She’s a nice girl
Marred by obvious suppressions
Alone in the unquiet darkness
No thin voices and color and rising smoke turned cotton white They drift endlessly
As wind does on the sea
Reach me a rose, honey
Full of aching grieving beauty with enchanting murmurs Ghostly laughter in a many colored disarray,
The loud beating of my heart was never quite still
Daisy
Her voice was a wild tonic in the rain Gatsby
His voice was solem and laughed pointless glimpses into the human heart
with a quality of eternal reassurance
The way of my tolerance
bloomed with light and spasms,
without a word or a gesture of exultation “Don't believe everything you hear”
“I’m Gatsby!”
“Daisy”
Sitting somewhat drunk and into a high gothic library About a women
Daisy
Her voice was a wild tonic in the rain
Gatsby

“It Would Have Helped”
Become an angel
to prevent pain --
recover vigorously.
I’m indignant,
my skin -- flushed.
(It would have helped.)
