Ever wanted to play that Sims Life Stories hood named Four Corners in TS2? But wanted play the hood with its original lore from the Sims Stories right after the story ended?
Well, now you can! I've been working on alternative versions of the recreated Stories neighborhoods which the HBG and I made years ago. Basically, in these versions, you'd be greeted with a freshly "unlocked" free-play neighborhood just like in Sims Life Stories, except for the part that it was technically never "locked" in story mode, but it'd at least feel like you've just finished the story.
(Unfortunately, I couldn't get the scripts from Sims Life Stories working in TS2.. so I came up with these "played through" versions instead, lol.)
This is really important. Listen to this straight from Israeli government officials and their former Prime Minister. What we've known for years but been dismissed as conspiracy theorists - Netanyahu has been funding Hamas for years. He wants endless war so that Palestine will never have their own state. They also go into what Israel has done that led up to October 7th. See what life is actually like under Israel's "big brother" surveillance (their words, not mine). Watch what life under occupation is actually like...not the PR puff pieces that Israel and the IDF put out. Watch the full 45 minute special here:
Star ceilings get their name from the clusters of stars painted or stamped in natural rock shelters. The stars are similar in shape, each an equal-armed cross, but may vary in size and color, black, red, or white, occasionally orange, yellow, or green. Some cave ceilings have a single star; some have a hundred imprints or more.
The stars are concentrated in the Canyon de Chelly area, but have been discovered throughout the Navajo heartland and the Four Corners area. Bernie hadn’t heard of any near Alamo, but here it was. The very place she’d admired in the photograph on Jones’s desk. The moonlight enabled her to see the cluster of black stars against the pale rock. She stood beneath the decorated overhang and closed her eyes a moment. The place reverberated with the power of the ancestors and the prayers and ceremonies that helped them stay strong.

The borders between Kentucky/Virginia and Tennessee/North Carolina have bugged me for too long. They look like they should line up on the diagonal, so I am calling on Congress to officially redraw the borders to reflect the more aesthetically pleasing alternative. Apologies to the citizens of East Tennessee and the Cumberland Gap, but this is 250 years overdue.

After:
We'll probably crinkle that up so it looks more natural, but remember that this is just an early draft; we'll finalize the border once it gets out of the House Appropriations Committee.
Tennessee will, of course, have to concede the Great Smoky Mountains to North Carolina, but they can more than make up for it with the creation of a new state park at Four Corners East, to be located at 36.5936N, 82.8628W, about 9 miles north of Surgoinsville, North Carolina (formerly Surgoinsville, Tennessee). Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, and Utah don't get to hog the quadripoint spotlight anymore.
If you have any thoughts and/or suggestions, please call your representative's office in Washington, DC.
I'm playing in a different version of Four Corners this time, (link)
with Bitville (another Sims: Life Stories conversion) as a subhood, (link)
and the gorgeous Mesa Flats as a downtown. (link)
The Harlow Legacy challenge begins just as Riley returns from her honeymoon with her brand new husband, Mickey Smith. Their fate now lies in the hands of the sim gods…(aka, the story progression, trait, ACR mods and ROS events that will be active throughout this playthrough 😉)
