I wanted to play with different art styles while sketching and realized I like a lot of grumpy blue characters.

A lot of Tom from Eddsworld because I was a newgrounds kid and grew up with that show. While I haven't really kept up with it since Legacy, it still holds a place in my heart and Tom was always my favorite character. I just love the character archetype of the Comedy Straight Man who is just a crazy and silly as his Funny Men. I dunno I've been thinking about Eddsworld lately for some reason.

Blue Link! One of my earliest, if not my first blorbo. Hell, the Four Swords Plus manga is what got me into art in the first place! He is and will forever be my beloved <3

God, it's been so long since I've drawn a beak... but Revali! I love him. big blue chicken bird with gifted kid syndrome? Top tier blorbo material. I still need to play TOTK. Yes, I know he's not in it but I love the Hyrule BOTW introduced and I'd love to explore it more!

And finally, Bunnymund from Rise of the Guardians. He was my favorite from that movie and when my friend on discord suggested I draw him, I couldn't say no. Sure, have a tall, surprisingly jacked rabbit.

Over half of the plot and character development of the Four Swords manga is literally just "Stop hitting yourself, stop hitting yourself" and I think that's beautiful.

oh yeah i imagine that they were friends while Julie was still ~Princess Juliette~ and when Julie decided to run away from her royal life & home, she went to Frank on her way out in the hopes that he'd help her

#she broke in through his window in the middle of the night with a big sword <3 nearly giving him a heart attack <3 #frank did indeed smuggle her out of the city! #i think she lived on the outskirts for a while with frank smuggling her food and stuff #while he hemmed and hawed over leaving #bc he didnt like his life but also. the terror of breaking routine & the dread of change etc etc #wh fantasy au #rambles from the bog #but yea Julie full on ran away from home #and stole a sword from the castle armory while she was at it! #she and her siblings co-ruled and julie hatedddd it #it was so stuffy and boring and UGH. no fun at all. also supremely irritating and restricting #plus Four rulers is overkill. three is perfectly sensible they dont need her <3 #but yeah so there's a recurring side plot in the au of julie avoiding getting Recognized #she rips down a missing poster while the neighbors backs are turned #frank shoves her into a canal when some royal soldiers pass by #etc etc!
