I've been researching foxes in Irish and Scottish folklore and fairy tales for the last.. five hours or so, and I have yet to see a single instance of them shapeshifting. This is in spite of how supposedly prominent myths of the shapeshifting Celtic fox is.

Is it just not a thing? Every one and thing says that it is, but there's no literature on it.

If you know of a Celtic legend/myth/fable/tale featuring this, please tell me.
