At least that’s how I feel after getting all endings from Book 1 & 2.

@heartfragment I hope this experience is according to your intentions ^^’ The interpersonal relationships aren’t badly written by any means but, with the exception of Clive, I don’t find myself as invested in those as I am in the meta-narrative. Gosh, a part of me even enjoys Inigo so much that I want a whole route with him - despite him seeming like/being a villain. Or maybe the meta-narrative of the game already is Inigo’s route... (Even though the in-game title of the 2nd version of Shannon’s 2nd Dead End seemed to be referring to a certain rich jerk, I couldn’t help but feel called out for my interest in the ghost-like figure...)

In the end, the mystery aspect of Heart Fragment is the most fun part for me. The satisfaction I got from having a theory being (seemingly?) proven in Lana’s route... ^-^ A good mystery story gives you enough hints to be able to figure out the truth while planting enough doubts that you’re left feeling unsure about your theory until it’s eventually proven to be right.

One of the biggest differences between my Yuya and canon is in his eyes. Yuya has one red eye and one green eye, just like his ace monster Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon. However, in his main verse (aka the anime) he was born with two red eyes until the day he awoke both Pendulum summoning (and Zarc’s soul) where that event caused his eye to change color.

A similiar situation happens for the Phantom in the manga verse, whose other eye turned green following the World Illusion and his inheriting of the Adam Factor.

His awakened/beserk state sports golden eyes to resemble Zarc’s own, and is a visual indication he is under his influence.

I’ve been making more progress on my free yuri VN, Winter Fragments, which I’m hoping to release around Christmas! I hope you’re all looking forward to it! The VN is set in Japan in the early 2000s, and it’s about a couple of high school girls working on their own visual novel together. It’s a very cute, fluffy story with a doujin vibe, made at 800x600 res with filtered photo backgrounds and stock music. Please note, however, that while I’m describing this as a yuri story, there isn’t any explicit romantic content, like kissing. It’s apparent both of the lead characters have crushes on one another, but neither of them actually confesses. It’s a bit more ambiguous than some of my other yuri stories, so I apologise in advance if people don’t like that! In any case, I think this story is rather sweet: I hope you agree when you’re finally able to read it!
