In my eyes, Fran Drescher is a Zionist between the pro 🇮🇱 statement released on Twitter a few weeks ago for SAG (without telling or getting approval from all members prior to it) and the disaster of a contract she just approved of. She's approved letting all studios use generative Ai & annoucing it from her manshion speaks volumes. She clearly doesn't care.
I hope all SAG members read the contract and unianimously vote no- then push to fire Fran, or all their work was for nothing. And I will be personally suggesting non members who showed solidarity and allies boycott & blacklist hiring & streaming all media with Fran in it because m a n, what a saggy moist yet buyable bag she is.
Everyone knows Hollywood is the US government's no 1 propaganda and distraction machine- the rush to approve this contract & not immediately disclose to the masses what it contained is after that twitter post is a huge🚩
Fuck Fran Descher
And if you're part of SAG AFTRA, Vote No because of the generative Ai usage.

What’s this strike?
ah! well... I hope I'm going to explain this right, because I feel like there's a lot of things I could say which... might make it sound as if I know absolutely nothing and am just spouting stuff; I am not part of the film industry or know enough about how it works, and it's gonna get a bit lengthy but I'll try and keep it concise!
In Hollywood, there is a labor union of actor's known as the Screen Actors Guild - American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-Aftra) which represents... roughly... 160k media professionals and entertainers - including journalists, talk show hosts, other broadcast workers so it's not just actors! Their contract expired several months ago in June, but they were able to extend the deadline up until July; which ultimately did not work out because negotiations broke down and they went on strike. We're 115 days into it as of today (Nov 6th, 2023 - or is it 116?)
On the flip side of this strike is the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP) who are a trade association that represents film and television studios. Think the big names - Disney, WB, Netflix, etc etc.
The main issue that has been the center of this strike is the studio's desire to use AI in order to scan actor's faces to generate their performances digitally without giving them any credit or compensation. And the other issue is also due to streaming residuals, but there are potentially other factors involved as well, such as the regulation of self-tape auditions and so on.
Since then, there have been talks between the members of the SAG-Aftra who are led by their president Fran Descher (one of the many people involved!) in order to try and reach an agreement with AMPTP and have their demands met - the Writer's Guild of America was also on strike for similar and yet different reasons of Hollywood labor disputes; however after 148 days (May 2 – September 27) they were able to settle their strike and have resumed work.
Just recently as an hour or so ago of me replying to this message (5.30 pm PST) the latest update is that the AMPTP had sent a "Last, Best & Final Offer" this past Friday(?) and SAG-Aftra has responded -
Tumblr media
so we are still going to continue to see the actor's picketing and being supported by those who believe that they deserve fair compensation and reasonable demands about AI, because what they're asking for and what they have been asking for has been nothing but justified!
I hope this answers everything anon and covers most if not all of the important points about your question!

This striped Moschino waistcoat was first worn by Twiggy when she played Princess Georgina "Georgy" De La Rue in the short-lived 1991 television show Princesses. Fran Drescher also starred on the show as Melissa Kirshner, and would later wear the waistcoat during the first season of The Nanny. Brenda Cooper, the costume designer for The Nanny, originally met Drescher while working as a costume supervisor for Princesses.

FRAN DESCHER TRIED TO DO WHAT WITH YOUR UNCLE?
My uncle works in TV and one time he was on a set with Fran Drescher and she propositioned him. He told some of his friends who were working on the same show about it and they were like "oh yeah she does that a lot"

WHAT THIS?

Treehouse of Horror XVII Season 18 - Episode 4 | November 5, 2006 Two Treehouse shows in one week, huh? Wow. That sucks! Okay, here we go. This one starts out with a parody of the opening of Tales From the Crypt, a show I’ve seen a considerable amount, but I remember seeing this the first time and being like “wait, what is this?” and then it dawning on me, and thinking “oh, that sucks.” It just feels uninspired and off-putting. Then there’s one where Homer is a Blob. You ever seen the Blob? It’s really fun! I had no idea how fun of a movie it was. I didn’t even realize it was in color until I watched it a few years ago. This one is okay I guess. Not that good. It’s the best one of the lot, so strap in. The second segment is about a Golem, which is like a Frankenstein but Jewish. He’s voiced by Mr. “I hate that I’m Richard Lewis, and you’re watching Comedy Central” himself. He has a lady Golem that he marries voiced by Fran Descher. This segment is not very funny and plus it sucks The last segment is one of the worst they ever did. It’s about Orson Welles’ Mercury Theater radio broadcast of War of the Worlds. The story is that the broadcast tricked so many people into thinking aliens were invading that it caused mass hysteria and panic across the country. Lately the idea of the hoax fooling the public en masse has itself been debunked as a hoax; Newspapers were in fierce competition with Radio at the time and took it as an opportunity to spook it’s readers into thinking that a radio broadcast spurred mass hysteria. In this segment, Springfield freaks out and then Kang and Kodos take it as an opportunity to *actually* invade after the hoax is revealed. It’s basically the plot to SPACED INVADERS, a highly underrated early 90s sci-fi comedy staring the voice of Cornfed as an evil capitalist. But SPACED INVADERS doesn’t contain a hamfisted allegory for the Iraq War at the end of it (an aside: I heard that the episode originally aired with a very obvious “this is just like Iraq” line spoken by Kang or Kodos and so many people trashed it that they edited out of future broadcasts. I’m too lazy to look it up to see if it’s true. You do it! THE B-SODE:

Tom Goes to the Mayor: "My Big Cups" Season 2 - Episode 1 | June 4, 2006 Hey! The Simpsons Blog segment features a parody song of “I Like Big Butts” actually sung BY Sir Mix-a-Lot. MONTHS before that he did the same thing on Tom Goes to the Mayor, in one of the funniest bits they ever did on that particular show. The music video for MY BIG CUPS contains one of my very favorite jokes: Mix-A-Lot is chugging an oversized, clearly-computer-manipulated Soda Cup and a little chyron appears reading “DO NOT ATTEMPT”.
Tumblr media
Soul Eater: "Ureshi hazukashi taiken nyuugaku! Shibusen shinseikatsu ouen fea kaisaichuu?" Season 1 - Episode 26 | September 29, 2008 So I found some stupidass anime that apparently has a Golem on it
Tumblr media
Futurama: "The Day the Earth Stood Stupid" Season 3 - Episode 7 | February 18, 2001 I didn’t want to reach all the way back to Pinky & the Brain, so I picked this, which is similarly titled (The Simpsons segment is called “The Day the Earth LOOKED Stupid”). Did I use this one already? How about that Tom Goes to the Mayor episode? It all seems vaguely familiar. I don’t care anymore, actually, so please don’t tell me.
