Indefinite (2020) is a daily horror/thriller drabble collection that goes on indefinitely written for the MCU fandom, written by honestlyfrance. As of May 31, 2020, the last known drabble posted was Indefinite #28

One of the most notable drabbles were: #1 which featured Wanda Maximoff and her childhood nightmare, the Black Widow; #2 which featured the fall of Captain Sam Wilson into madness; #10 which explored Capgras Syndrome with Sharon Carter; and #15 which explored shared delusions with Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes.

More characters featured were Clint Barton, James Rhodes, Tony Stark, Peggy Carter, Yelena Belova, MJ Jones, and Peter Parker, along with many characters.

It is still unsure when the next Indefinite issue will be posted.

Indefinite

Indefinite is a daily drabble series/collection that goes on indefinitely. It's fandom is of the Marvel fandom and features its characters (mostly: Bucky Barnes, Sam Wilson, Sharon Carter, Natasha Romanoff, Wanda Maximoff, Steve Rogers, etc)

It's a horror/gore/mystery/thriller series, and has been a goal of mine to finally make something of this genre as it has always been a comfort for me

Indefinite is a daily horror/thriller drabble collection that goes on indefinitely written for the MCU fandom.

Sometimes there’ll be a link on the drabble number that leads to some random buzzfeed unsolved video which inspired said drabble. Most of these are true stories, so you can ask in the notes where it came from! :D

Also, please do tell me if any of you are uncomfortable or sensitive with such subjects that may be related to gore/phobias/trauma or any of these sorts so I may tag them accordingly and so you can blacklist them. :) Your concerns are valid and important! If you don’t want to see these drabbles, all of them are tagged as #francehonestly: Indefinite for you to blacklist!

More detailed warnings that (mostly) apply to the drabbles: gore, self-inflicted harm, torture, mental illnesses, horror, death, swearing, 16+ themes. Please, if you get uncomfortable, anxious, or uneasy quite easily, I advise you not to read. There will be no "Read More" link of sorts. Yo, I’m super surprised that I got my first ever anon (after two years of having this side-blog)

Okay, nonnie! Here goes nothing!

16 - “My heart beats for you.”

Sam was sitting on the porch, rubbing the belly of a six-month old Alpine. Bucky stood near the door, with a paper on his hands.

He had worked hard on this little piece, and he hoped Sam would like it.

So, Bucky sauntered over to the other man, tapping his shoulder. Sam almost blinded him, with his face shining with a fond smile.

“Hey, Buck,” Sam greeted.

“Hi, Sam,” Bucky replied, glad for the familiarity between them. “I’ve made some kind of poem. I want you to read it.”

And it’s for you, he didn’t say.

With his eyes twinkling, Sam held out a hand and Bucky let the paper land on his palm. He swallowed hard, as Sam’s eyes fell on the content of the paper. His other hand stopped moving.

We did have our struggles, like survivors

We had our fights, like children

We had our days, like people

Filled with anger and resentment

And morphed into camaraderie, forevermore

The feelings snuck its way to my mind

And my heart beats for you

Sam looked up at him, his dark eyes flickering with tenderness. He set the paper on the chair, and his arms wrapped around him, scooping him for an embrace. Bucky shut his eyes, dwelling in his warmth.

“I never knew, you had a beautiful mind,” Sam whispered, his breath tickling his neck. “Thank you, Bucky.”

Bucky sighed, his heart falling into a steady beat. “You’re welcome, Sam. I do mean it.”
