Frances Marsalis and Louise Thaden broke the women’s endurance flight record on August 19, 1932, when they passed the 123-hour time set by Edna May Cooper and Bobbie Trout the previous year. Here, they reconnoiter above Long Island with a plane bringing them additional fuel.

La Mode nationale, no. 46, 20 novembre 1897, Paris. No. 26. — Costume de jeune femme. Modèle de la Mson Louise Piret, 43, rue Richer, Paris. Bibliothèque nationale de France
No. 26.
No. 26. — Young woman's costume in plain aubergine cloth and Scottish velvet (the velvet is replaced by the very pretty panne, but a little less durable). Two velvet quilles frame the apron. The bodice is very pretty. It blouses lightly over a Scottish bib; the pliers are open and draw punctures. Black silk cord at the bodice. Round velvet basque and similar belt.
Matériaux: 6 mètres de drap; 3 mètres de velours écossais.

“I consider Queen Louise of France to be one of the most beautiful queens of the Renaissance period. Her life story is interesting. It's a pity that during her reign she was overshadowed by her mother-in-law, Catherine de Medici.” - Text & Image Submitted by cenacevedo15

Venom and Name Meanings
Eddie, from Edward -- (middle English) "Guardian of prosperity"
(Guardian or a protector it's right in the name.)
Brock -- (old English, Celtic) "badger"
(Also possibly a complete coincidence but nevertheless amusing, Eddie Brock kinda sounds like Edderkopp, the Norwegian word for "spider.")
Cletus-- (Latin, from Greek) "famous, renowned" (he sure is, lol)
Kasady, from Cassidy -- (Irish) "curly-haired,
Descendent of Caiside"
(According to Wikipedia Caiside a family from the Ulster region of poets, churchmen, scholars and hereditary physicians to the Maguire Kings of Ireland.)
Frances -- (English) French, her middle name Louise -- (French) famous warrior, and her alias from the comics Sandra -- (Italian) Defender of mankind
Barrison kind of sounds like garrison, a fortified place. Also discovered this, sharing without further comment...
Anne -- (French from Latin) "favor, grace"
Dan -- (Anglicized from Greek from Hebrew) "God is my Judge"
Lewis -- (Welsh) "strong, leader"
Dora -- (Latin) "gift of God"
Carlton -- (English) "Settlement of the free peasants" (how very ironic)
Drake -- (from Old Norse or Old English) "Dragon"
