The funniest kind of critical role "critique" is always going to be the 'they present themselves as if they aren’t rich/a company no I will not give any examples' crowd. Like what does this even mean. They start literally every single episode with informing you they are professional voice actors. They have clearly advertised sponsors. They have an entire line of merch and an animated show. The production value of the set is bonkers. They run a charity foundation. Do you want them to start every episode with a blaring siren and a warning saying 'beware! company run content! we make money!!' Are you just angry that they are friends having fun as they make a living. Do you have any understanding of how money works.

I immediately had to draw Frank when I imagined them doing this pose.
(Ignore the misspelling of business IGNORE.)

Yes, Velvet and Veneer ate with their final chase scene song mashup, but everyone saying that they should've won? You guys would probably fall into a cult so easily, with how you're simply thinking they should've won because you were swooned by their (faked/stolen) voices

I would love, even if its just its just brief summaries, to know the different thoughts going through bills head throughout the last smut. (mainly when he got the text and when dipper starts just blurting out thoughts and ideas bc i think those moments would be fun to see)
Imagine you're having the shittiest day at work. You're gritting your teeth and hanging onto it by your fingernails, knowing that eventually dealing with this absolutely idiotic, waffling, overstuffed, condescending dipshit of a client will be done with, you'll charge him out the nose for your services - which will probably be, like a hundred dollars, the way this is going! What bullshit. At least afterwards, you can collapse onto the bed and complain to your spouse about it. Which you have been doing, actually, waiting for a decent excuse to bail or check out early.
Then you get a text. And it's your partner saying they got you a brand new console, your favorite pizza - Oh! And a million bucks in untraceable cash - but you might have to kick your shitty client in the nuts so hard his eyes pop out. Does that sound... okay? No pressure or anything.
The reason Bill was a minute later than expected is because even he needed a moment. It was the sheer whiplash from going from Shit to Fucking Amazing.

sometimes it really is just like. is this all there is. feeling oversensitive & undersocialized—too sensitive to socialize—forever, bc you never got enough ~affirmation~ growing up (poor, pathetic baby; how long will you persist in singing the same self-pitying song…), & so never developed the proper emotional cushioning against the heartache & the thousand natural shocks, &c, &c, &c, &c, &c…

Snower (snail tower)
Somewhat successful return to traditional art. Thought about fixing it up digitally, remembered its fine to just let things be.

why are so many authors addicted to either subtweeting about goodreads reviews or possibly worse yet responding directly to them. years ago a friend of mine left a negative review on goodreads (of a nonfiction book, no less, not a novel) and the author responded to it, severely misconstrued her criticisms, and then cried about it on twitter and her followers were all like gassing her up being like "how dare people slander you like this". i understand that for a lot of authors who arent super prominent the boundaries between personal and professional get blurred in terms of the tone of their tweets but i think crying about bad reviews in public and encouraging your fans to pontificate about how critical reviewers are bad people who Just Don't Get Your Work comes off as juvenile, deeply unprofessional, and more than a little unhinged.

If you dislike Peter Bishop for being manipulated/sa'd and not always being great to his formerly abusive 'father' you may want to reevaluate your stance on the matter 😅.

QUESTION
@predvestnik ↤ accepting :: HE’S A 10, BUT... ↩
‘ He isn't a ten. He's more like a bad, incomplete joke: seven, eight, nine. ’ Honestly, this was meant to target one Master Diluc, but can be about anyone—
DILUC the rag in his fist creaks. red eyes drop to it with an incredulity that peers further inward: down into the tight, discomfiting squirm of his chest.
oh. i’m going to be sensitive about this.
fantastic.
how mean. to be bullied like this, after a smooch?
after allowing him to feel vulnerable & stupid & delicious—
it’s certainly impossible to guess what has his cheeks grow ruddy all over again: the memory, or this shameless return to the norm.
perhaps it should be a blessing...
“ugh.”
at least it asks for no delicacy in return. it wouldn’t be rude not to feel. no weeping maiden stands in line to curse his lineage for an affront she should have expected, angled for. ( no. no, that’s him right now, isn’t it? holy sh- )
don’t have to feel anything about this.
( right. because that was ever an option. )

house md fics should be required to warn you if the characters start referring to or thinking of each other by first name at some emotional part if they are being trustworthy at all previous times by not doing so
