"i-it hurts! it hurts so much.." he whimpered, realizing the inhumanely stinging pain threatening to burst and collide with every nerve of his structure.

"W-why did you do this then?" her voice laced in concern, sadness clouding her stature in a wave of fright for his well-being. He chose this, it pained her to see him trying to bear something she never wanted to force him to do.

Holding on to pain, he stifled up a cracked but loving smile. With a hiss, and a deep tone of reassurance, "I'd rather lose half my sight of darkness at least, than to never see you as a whole, the light of my day, at all."

What's happening is that, it's Luxian tradition to halfly blinden an accepted converting Stygian, representing how he gives up to see the darkness from that eye, 'purifying' in which he accepts the truth of light.

Now deal with this shitty art where there's no shading, no shadowing, no lighting, no texture, and no tone at all, just base colours and massive reliance for filters. I don't know why I chose to be a colour artist, whateverxDD
