This comes after some college students in Missouri as well as elsewhere in the country have suffered serious injuries or death following acts of hazing on campuses. Many of these incidents involve heavy consumption of alcohol in a short period of time. One case, the Danny Santulli case, at the University of Missouri, has garnered national attention.

[drabble: the blue cup]

I keep thinking about initiation night. The hazing. The blue cup and the betrayal. That blue cup which now stands between you and I, where we used to stand shoulder-to-shoulder.

It always comes back to that blue plastic cup. Why can't you let go of it? We do the same thing to everyone who joins. Because accepting a drink from a friend is a ritual of trust, and that trust was violated. I feel violated, sick to the stomach, even though nothing happened. That drink-from-a-friend was a safe space, and now it isn't anymore. The rest of them weren't my friends then, but you were, and you were the one who passed me that blue plastic cup with your own hands and a casual smile.

For a group of men—I don't know if you'll understand in the same way, what that might mean for someone who was born a girl.

i deleted the tumblr app from my phone in April and promptly forgot about it for 2.5 months... but i'm back now!!

and i was poisoned from toxic fume exposure. ((bathtub resurfacing is very dangerous - even if it was your neighbor's bathtub that was resurfaced))

i have a hard time watching hawaii five-0, a show that i dearly love, bc i enjoy it too much and get embarrassed.

my life has become playing tears of the kingdom

i was strictly a PC gamer until i played breath of the wild in 2017. that game has changed my life ever since.

i miss my ps5. it's packed up for the next few weeks bc i'm moving out of the apartment that poisoned me. can't want to see My Man Witcher 3 Geralt <3

i've been vegetarian for 14 years. i just woke up one day and decided i was gonna be vegetarian. and here we are... 14 years later. i dont really have an end goal/date in sight. first it was a year, and then 2, then 5, then 10. I'm excited to cross the "being vegetarian for half of my life" in a few years!

i have Too Many copies of Top Gun on VHS due to a running bit/life commitment to preserving the most important movie/VHS tape that led to streaming services. i'll let you guess how many i have.

totally unnecessary rant but. The number of white nonbinary people (and in this case, their assigned gender at birth is relevant—they're all AFAB. We can't pretend like they'd even be in this situation were they even questionably perceived AMAB) I know who are actively members of sororities that have documented issues with homophobia and transphobia that would directly affect them, and they act like they're allies to WOC but stay affiliated with these groups that have backgrounds of discrimination, and follow the campus' dismantle the entire Greek life system Instagram account is too many

guys. im a human 22 year old. i miss my ex boyfriend a little bit lately. even though he never committed to it, the way that he liked me is exactly how i wanted to be liked. he blurted out when he thought i looked hot or pretty. he brought me redbull slushies from sonic without me asking. he would laugh at my joke before telling me it wasnt that funny. he said i glowed. if given the choice between something easy with people who sucked or a job that sucked with me, he was with me. super touchy. and part of me is like “why did he randomly appear in my dream and now im missing him. did he dream of me/is he thinking of me/missing me” but when i try to say “get a grip you know thats not true” that makes me sad.. its probably just my period. just cus he was my first boyfriend. cus its almost camp season. cus my crush doesnt like me back. whatever. it just sucks.
