My problem with drawing Taako post canon is idk how to show the effects of his curse. How do I make him less beautiful in a non-problematic way…

#i guess it’s more about his own perception of his beauty. so more about his insecurities than anything #but idk. idk how to change his face to be more ‘flawed’ but still him #bodywise I already think he gains weight post canon so I guess that could be part of it. again cus that’s something he’s insecure about #but like. i don’t have a detailed enough artstyle to change his face… #maybe he looses his freckles. only I love his freckles… #icarus is talking

the celestials au is actually so important to me oh my god

grian almost doesn’t go into scar’s dream, almost just wakes him up and moves on... but he feels this instinctual pull, almost as if scar was pulling him into orbit, grian wouldn’t really even doubt it. scar’s nightmare is unrealistic, like most are, but its nothing like the nightmares mortals have... its terrifyingly familiar in the way that grain's sure he's had the same one.

when scar notices him, dancing around his dream, grian feels like a deer caught in the headlights. he’s never been caught before, but then again he's never gone into another celestials dream. he gives an awkward wave and its just silly enough for the lingering fear to dissipate.

and that’s when it happens, when grian’s hears scar laugh he knows that he’s a goner. his heart stutters in his chest, his face heats up and wow scar is so much prettier up close. they start a conversation, its simple, its easy, it gets their mind off of the dream.

suddenly they’ve been talking for hours, and they’ve migrated so that their shoulders are touching and they’ve told each other things they swore they’d take with them to the grave. and they’re together even though it seems impossible...

#they mean so much to me actually #it becomes a nightly routine to them.. grian stops by and they just talk and sometimes grian kinda spaces out because he has to do his job #and scar takes that time to simply admire grian in all of his glory.. so beautiful when he's in his element... scar takes that time #to notice that grian has gotten freckles from being in the presence of the sun so much and he feels so much want that he thinks he might #pass out and when grian tunes back in a second later.. scar cups his cheek.. and stares intentely into his eyes until its the only thing he #can see and asks for a kiss.. and he thinks that the dopey grin that spreads onto grian's face is brighter than a thousand suns.. and he'd #know how bright that is.. wouldn’t he? #wow sorry i went on a little tangent there.. i just love them so much <3 #scarian #desert duo #hermitshipping #grian #goodtimeswithscar #celestial au #🎶 anon

#babes cmon #for like non redheads with freckles that would make sense #but you have to realize that most redheads have freckles everywhere #they are very widespread #im talking arms shoulders legs etc #and idk about other people but in the summer the freckles on my face are all over my cheeks but also over the bridge of my nose #i feel like when i *do* see freckles in art/character design its usually like 5-10 freckles on the cheeks and thats all #its like people forget how beautiful freckles are
