Alternate universe where ymir came back with historia instead of sacrificing herself for the warriors. Then they be like, okay everything is pretty hopeless let’s run and get married. (Ymir said yes) (Berth and Reiner died there)

Attack on Titan/ Haikyuu crossover, somehow? An AU!

I've been reading Haikyuu and anticipating the new Attack on Titan trailer dropping today, which I guess is why, as I was waking up from a nap and more asleep than awake, I came up with this weird crossover, where Eren and Mikasa are the parents of Ymir/Yamaguchi and Armin and Annie are the parents of Historia/Tsukishima (which, like... how??? do? those? two? shorties? make? Tsukishima???)

ANYWAY!

Imagine, if you will, a sports anime that is instead about the parents of child recreational athletes. Eren has an entire story arc about cutting the orange slices perfectly, because thus far they've been messy and uneven. Mikasa struggles to surpass a mother on an opposing team's amazing motivational posters (I don't know what you would call them. I don't follow sports. But you know what I mean. They're like "Go [TEAM NAME]!!" or "We love you [SPECIFIC PLAYER]"). Annie has to step in as coach for a week. Can she help guide the team of 7-year-olds to victory, or will she fail them? Armin struggles to help his children practice, because he's not athletic at all!

And I mean, I want the full sports anime treatment. I want them practicing. Training. Having self doubt, encouraging each other, and having internal monologues and epiphanies. Everything you would expect from a sports anime, but incredibly low stakes because it is a children's league and they're really just taking the kids to practice and games and making sure they have their water bottles full of Gatorade.

Disclaimer: Haikyuu and one episode of a painfully inaccurate rock climbing anime are my only experience with sports anime, so I am basing all my assumptions of what all sports anime are like on them.

Ymir looked at you with a smirk and scoffed, making her way closer to you. She took your hands above your head and pinned you against the wall, a mischievous look spread upon her face. “yeah we’ll see about that,” She said as you looked up at her, towering over you.

“I am so pissed right now I can’t even!” Historia looked up at you from her book, her eyes filled with curiosity. “Uh oh,” your girlfriend said, “what happened this time?”

“So I’m out shopping for cars right!? And I go through 8 different cars and none of them i can reach the steering wheel!” All of a sudden you’re cut off by your girlfriends laugh. “Huh? What’s so funny!” You call back to her. “I know I’m short! But GOd Y/N! I can at least reach the steering wheel!!” She laughs, mocking you. “Yeah yeah whatever..” You mumble as she continues on her giggle session. You roll your eyes as you reach up for a glass in the kitchen. Sighing as you can’t reach it, historia’s laugh gets louder. “HAHHAA YOU CAN’T EVEN REACH THE CUPBOARD!!”

“If it’s that funny to you then why don’t you put some inches in me? Eh!?” Historia’s face drops as soon as you say that to a deep rose blush. “HAHA THAT CAUGHT YOU OUT GUARD HUH!” You call to her, mocking. “Well that’s if, if you even have any to give me. Shorty.”

Historias face is just blank like. :/ and now the roles reversed. Revenge historia.

AOT Chipotle Order Headcannons

Okay, so here’s what I think the AOT cast would eat at Chipotle. I’m not good at parsing out what their order means for their personality, though. It’s a bit long so I’m putting it below the cut.

Eren: Burrito with double Steak, white rice, black beans, sour cream, cheese, and Queso. No veggies or anything, just protein and carbs. Doesn’t get chips or salsa, usually depends on Armin or Mikasa to get them for him.

Mikasa: Burrito bowl. Pollo asado, brown rice, black beans, Fresh tomato salsa, guacamole, fajita veggies. Not too unhealthy but with a bit of spice. Gets a side of chips and Queso for Eren

Armin: Salad. Sofritas, brown rice, pinto beans, guacamole, fajita veggies, Chipotle-Honey vinaigrette. Still thinks it’s a bit spicy, but is too afraid to complain. Also gets chips and Queso for Eren.

Sasha: Burrito, double wrapped in hopes that they’ll put more in it. Double Steak, white rice, Black beans, Guacamole, Fresh tomato Salsa, Roasted Chili-corn Salsa, Tomatillo-green chili Salsa, Tomatillo-red chili salsa, sour cream, fajita veggies, as much cheese as they’re allowed to put in it, Queso. Adds literally everything she possibly can. Gets chips and a large side of Queso. Literally dips the burrito in it.

Connie: Three tacos. Carnitas or barbacoa, soft flour tortillas, white rice, pinto beans, guacamole, roasted chili-corn salsa, sour cream, and cheese. Occasionally adds veggies, but regrets it when he does.

Jean: Lifestyle bowl. The chicken Whole30 bowl with double chicken, no rice, no beans, guacamole, Fresh Tomato salsa, sour cream, lettuce, fajita veggies, and Chipotle-Honey vinaigrette. I will stand by the fact that this boy eats healthy. Gets a tortilla on the side sometimes when he feels like cheating.

Erwin: Gets a salad because he’s an old man. Pollo Asado because he likes a little bit of spice, pretends he doesn’t get heartburn later. Brown rice, pinto beans, fajita veggies, sour cream. Kinda simple and boring. Doesn’t even get the included vinaigrette. Eats the salad with a fork and knife.

Hange: Burrito, so they can eat one handed. Barbacoa, white rice, pinto beans, guacamole, sour cream, Tomatillo-red Chili Salsa, cheese. Relatively simple but not very typical.

Levi: Only eats at chipotle when forced to. Burrito bowl, because he refuses to eat with his hands. Chicken, brown rice, black beans, cheese, lettuce, fajita veggies. Very simple, kinda boring, he doesn’t have a palette for a lot of the options. He’s kind of a picky eater, tbh.

Reiner: High protein bowl. Double portions of steak and chicken, white rice, black beans, tomatillo-red chili salsa, cheese, romaine lettuce. Dude eats pretty much nothing but protein.

Ymir: Burrito. Pollo asado, white rice, black beans, tomatillo-red chili salsa, roasted chili-corn salsa, fajita veggies, cheese, queso. Picks all the spicy options and then complains that it’s not spicy enough.

Annie: Burrito. Double wrapped, double chicken, white rice, black beans, cheese, queso. I see her as kind of a picky eater too, doesn’t really like most veggies. This is literally my typical order, lol. She might like roasted chili-corn salsa, but good luck getting her to try new things.

Historia: Salad. Chicken, no rice, no beans, fajita veggies, fresh tomato salsa, cheese, chipotle-honey vinaigrette. Nice and light, very healthy. I feel like she wouldn’t handle any spices well.

Porco: Burrito. Carnitas, white rice, black beans, tomatillo-red Chili salsa, sour cream, fajita veggies. Simple but with a bit of spice. Gets a small side of Queso and pours it into the burrito as he’s eating it. Yes I gave him pork.

Peick: Salad. Veggie, brown rice, no beans, guacamole, roasted chili-corn salsa, sour cream, fajita veggies, Chipotle-Honey vinaigrette. Gets a side of chips to munch on later in the day.

Ymir having a nightmare

(Super sorry I got to this late! I hope you enjoy!!)

CW: Nightmares! Night terrors, comfort, gn reader.

…..It always ran around in the back of her head, but those thoughts became an illusion of reality when she dreamt of it. The screams. The blood. The guilt. The thought that she was to slow, or maybe didn’t try hard enough. That it was her fault. Even jolting out of bed left her in a panic mode, flipping over to see you, sleeping. A sigh of relief came across her as she put her hand to her chest, trying to stop breathing so damn heavily.

Yeah, it might’ve been just a dream, but to her the emotions were her reality. So much so, she couldn’t go back to bed. But hearing your screams echo through her mind made her punch her head in an attempt to silence them. “Knock it off!” Ymir grunted, putting a pillow to her ears. The frustration and fear still ran through her, as the moonlight glistened in. It’s like she was just waiting for the attack to happen, for the titans to come through the walls and get you. Waiting to see them through the window. Tears prickled in Ymir’s eyes. Maybe it was a dumb reason to cry, but to her it was the only way to let it out.

“Yumi?” Ymir snapped out of her daze by the sound of your worried voice, a hand placed on her thigh. “Honey are you okay?” You looked into her eyes concerned, it filling your expression.

“Ah,” she tsked, “shit”

“Ymir baby what’s wrong why are you crying?”

You could sense stuff with Ymir, like no one else could. Even if her expression didn’t read of much, her aroma did. It was just like a feeling in the air, subtle, yet there.

She scoffed, pulling you into her arms. “I just,” she said, “don’t wanna lose you,” you looked to her confused, eyes wondering into her own. She wrapped her arms around you, her head in the crook of her neck. “Ymir,” you laughed to yourself, “honey, you’re not gonna lose me..”

Though it was silent, you could tell something had changed. “I- god it’s so stupid,” she said, wiping her tears. You fixed the hair in front of her eyes, “baby it’s not stupid,” you said back, “we all have fears,”

She kissed you on the cheek, avoiding to look at you. “Of course you’re not gonna die, I won’t let you,”

“It’s just..” She stayed silent for a few seconds before adding, “It’s just that..It’s always a possibility.” You cupped her cheek, “Ymir look at me..” Ymir slightly gazed at your eyes, hesitantly. “Nothing is gonna happen to me,” You said, pecking a kiss on the tip of her nose. “I know..” She admitted guiltily.

“But,” she said, “It’s always there, It’s an outcome..” She looked to the side, wiping her tears. “Fuck, I’m sorry I woke you up,”

You wrapped your arms tightly around her yet again, kissing the side of her face. “I don’t mind, and I’m glad you did..” A small tear dropped on your shoulder before you wiped it away. “I’m always gonna be here Ymir,” You added,

“I promise.”
