Andrea Clearwater, the younger sister of Penelope Clearwater, is a seventh-year student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, class of 1996. Andrea is a studious Ravenclaw that hopes to enjoy her last year at Hogwarts before joining her parents in running their tea house in Diagon Alley post-Hogwarts; however, Andrea soon realizes that this year could be her most unusual yet, as news of her recent breakup with Oliver Wood leads her friend George Weasley to act on feelings that he had previously restrained. Hogwarts: A Clearwater Perspective is a story of friendship, love, and hardships associated with the alleged return of the Dark Lord.
PS. A painstaking amount of research & work was put in to making this story true to the timeline in the 5th HP book, so canon nerds- do enjoy! Comments are much appreciated!

Facts about Snape, professor addition
Obviously head cannons
Severus is always exactly 7 minutes late to all staff meetings. Yes, it is on purpose. Yes, every single one of the other Professors have tried to end the annoying habit. Nothing has worked.
Dumbledore has received so many complaints from parents that if he reads "Snape" he automatically sends in the OWL and NEWT test improvements in Potions.
His first year was a rough start, but by Severus's testing averages went from Slughorn's A-E on the lower side average to high E's and O's. The Dreadful fail rate also dropped to two or three students a year.
Severus has asked to be fired no less than 200 times. It hasn't worked.
At potluck events, it's a competition to see who makes the dish that Professor Snape will eat/eat the most of as they get better every year. Professor Sprout is the reigning champion. And Severus will only ever bring napkins from coffee shops.
He has never mixed up any of the Weasley -- even the twins -- ever. It drives Fred and George insane.
He has a coffee pot in the classroom and will fight anyone who tries to take it away from him. Umbrige learned that lesson the hard way.

me! | george weasley x reader
song; me! [taylor swift, brendon uri(n)e] pairing; george weasley x fem!muggle!reader genre; accidental marriage, s2l, fluff, comedy word count; 7,8k timeline; post-second wizarding war (fred lives au) warnings; swearing, referenced alcohol consumption, references to hook-ups, references to sex, references to the war summary; after waking up in bed with a red-haired stranger and no memories of the night prior, you run off as quickly as you can. it isn't until months later when you're trying to buy a house that you learn that you can't just leave that forgotten night in the past
thought it would be ironic to have the song with the lyrics "i promise that you'll never find another like me" and "i'm the only one of me" with one of the twins lol
masterlist
"you're the kinda guy the ladies want."
————————————————
Typically, you were more responsible than this. You had always stayed away from drunk hook-up culture, hoping (perhaps too idealistically) to find organic love. Yet, on the night of your cousin's bachelorette party, you got so drunk that you found yourself in bed with a stranger the next morning. And you didn't know what to do.
All you could do for a few moments was look around the hotel room that you had evidently decided was necessary for the hook-up - and although you couldn't remember a single thing after your tenth shot at the club, the fact you were both naked gave away the events of the night prior.
He was red-haired, and quite nicely toned, but he also donned a partially missing ear. You couldn't see his face, so at that particular moment you couldn't judge whether or not drunk you had good taste. You pushed that thought aside - that was the least of your concerns. You needed to get out of there and forget that anything had ever happened, which shouldn't be too difficult thanks to the alcohol-induced memory loss.
So, with that, you slipped out of bed and scavenged for all your clothes around the room, and then quickly departed. You made it all the way down to the lobby without any human interaction, but it was there at the desk that you finally had to communicate.
"Heading out for a bit, Mrs Weasley?" the receptionist smiled at you.
You frowned, not understanding why they would address you as such - probably had mistaken you for someone else. But, you were in a hurry, so just grinned and nodded, leaving to never return.
***
Not many people were fortunate enough to buy their first home (alone) at the age of twenty-four without any help from their parents, but you had chosen a rather well-paid career path and had been meticulous with your money savings, so this was a reality for you. After a few months of working with a real estate agent to view houses and find the perfect home for you, you had finally come to a decision.
You had stumbled upon it really, when travelling from London to visit your family, you came across a road that you had sworn hadn't been there before. Curiosity had overcame you, and you had driven down it to find the cutest village named Godric's Hollow, which could also be described as peculiar. A lot of things in the village didn't make sense - like the fact they all seemed bewildered at the sight of your car - but the architecture was gorgeous. When you drove past an adorable rustic cottage with a 'for sale' sign out front, you didn't even have to think twice about viewing it.
It was a strange process, however, as the sign didn't have a number for the real estate agency, but instead read 'owl Cauldron Realtors for more details'. You asked around for information about Cauldron Realtors (a particularly strange name, comparable to the robes many of the older members of the village wore), and they pointed you in the direction of the realtor's.
From then on, the process to view the house and apply for a mortgage had been relatively normal, if not a bit old-fashioned in the lack of technology used. However, you reasoned that it was a small village and that they merely hadn't updated themselves like cities just yet.
***
"Why have you asked me to come here?" you asked as delicately as you could upon entering Cauldron Realtors.
"We have had something come up," Mr Linseed said to you. He was an eccentric old man, constantly adorning a pair of half-moon spectacles perched on the tip of his nose.
"Like what?"
"You told us that you weren't married."
You frowned.
"And I thought it was a bit strange given your muggle situation, but honestly I had simply assumed that you were a squib."
He was using a lot of words that you didn't understand. You had heard the word muggle passed around in the time that you had spent in Godric's Hollow, but had been unable to find out what it meant online or in any dictionary. Everyone used it so commonly you had felt too embarrassed to ask.
"Obviously, this changes the process for you to apply for a mortgage. We need your husband to sign off either that he will partially own the house or have no claim over it."
"I don't understand- I'm not married," you said.
"No?" the man raised a brow at you, "When we searched for legal documentation of your name, we found that it hadn't been Y/N L/N for a few months, but instead Y/N Weasley. I didn't think much of you not having gotten around to changing your bank details yet since it hasn't been long, but going by your maiden name is a little strange. So, I assumed that the marriage was short-lived."
Why did Weasley sound so familiar? You wracked your brain for when you had heard it before.
"Heading out for a bit, Mrs Weasley?"
Your eyes widened.
The guy from the hotel.
"What did you say my husband's name was?" you said slowly.
"I didn't, but George Weasley," Mr Linseed replied, "You knew that, though, correct?"
You nodded, "Yeah... just making sure."
The man frowned at you, "He is quite well-known I suppose - the shop Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes is quite famous. Anyhow, here are the new forms that I need you to fill out and then we will be back on track."
You accepted them in a daze, but snapped your eyes up towards him again, "Where can I find Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes?"
"Diagon Alley, of course," Mr Linseed was clearly confused that you didn't know where your husband worked.
You had never heard of Diagon Alley, and he sensed that.
"You know? Through The Leaky Cauldron? On Charing Cross Road?"
Finally, a name you recognised.
"Oh, yes. Thank you, Mr Linseed, I'll be back soon."
God, what a process to get yourself a house.
***
You were pretty sure that in all your visits to Charing Cross Road, you had never seen that pub squeezed between those buildings before. But, you weren't about to complain, as you were desperate to find George Weasley and sort everything out. You couldn't remember his face, but you remembered his red hair and partially missing ear - that should be enough to identify him.
You hoped, anyway.
Upon entering the gloomy pub, you were met by quite a shocking sight - but one that wasn't entirely indifferent to Godric's Hollow. Except, you would describe the pub as having a more creepy ambiance, in a way. Beady eyes peered in your direction as you walked up to the bar, and you tried to hold your own as a woman with matted grey hair and disturbingly long fingernails smiled at you with missing teeth. You forced a smile back.
"Excuse me," you said to the bartender, who was similar to the woman in energy, "How do I get to Diagon Alley?"
He pointed to the door out the back.
"Just through that door?"
"You'll need your wand too," the woman who had smiled at you said, "To tap the wall."
"Wand?" you squeaked.
"I'll show you," the woman said eerily.
In any normal circumstance, you would have declined the offer, but you had already had so many new experiences you found yourself following her out the back.
"You're not one of us, are you?" she asked with a giggle of glee, pulling out a wooden stick from her pocket.
You didn't reply, watching as she brought it up and tapped some of the bricks on the wall. To your amazement, they then parted, presenting to you the most bustling and magical street that you had ever seen.
"Diagon Alley," she stated, "Although I prefer Knockturn Alley."
You thanked her, and hurried into the street.
***
The pet shops were strange: mostly having owls, cats and toads. The book shops were strange: having cages of moving books in the display windows. The clothes shops were strange: pretty much exclusively selling robes and pointed hats. All in all, Diagon Alley was the most eccentric place you had ever been.
There was a broomstick shop, a wand shop, and a place to buy cauldrons. You were so out of your depth that you decided you should focus on the task at hand.
It wasn't long before you found a bright and buzzing shop named Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes, looking ten times more exciting than all the shops before it. You were almost overwhelmed with all the young people inside once you entered, and it finally became obvious to you that it was a joke shop. The numerous prank items on display were clearly enchanted in a way too, only furthering your amazement at this street.
You scanned around for a redhead, but it was really difficult to spot anything within the chaos. Eventually, you located a flash of red by the till and hurried over. The queue was unfortunately long, but you waited impatiently nonetheless.
When you finally reached the front, the red-haired man behind it looked at you, and you couldn't help but noticed he had two full ears.
"Are you buying anything, miss?"
"I'm looking for George Weasley," you said quickly.
He rose an eyebrow at you, "What for?"
"It's a long story, I really need to talk to him."
"I'll fetch him," he said, and disappeared out back for a few moments before returning with a man almost identical to him save for that all-too-familiar ear. He didn't look at you like he recognised you - maybe he drank so much he had memory loss too? That would make sense, considering he hadn't tried to find you either.
"Can I help you?" George Weasley asked, gesturing for you to move to the side so that his twin could continue at the till.
"This is gonna sound crazy, but," you took a deep breath, "You're my husband."
"You're right, that does sound crazy," he chuckled.
"You woke up in a hotel room a few months ago, right?"
His eyes widened, "I thought I hooked up with someone," he said, "Wasn't sure, though, because I woke up alone."
"Sorry about that. I don't really do hook-ups, I kinda freaked out and bolted."
"I don't really do hook-ups either," he shrugged, "No hard feelings."
"Anyway, as I said, it turns out we got married that night."
"Wow. I honestly can't remember anything."
"Me neither," you shook your head, "And we can't get an annulment - the cut off is three months. And we were way too efficient with sending off the marriage registration - we did it immediately."
He hummed, "That's quite a predicament. Divorce, then?"
You nodded, "Yes, obviously. But that will take ages, and I'm trying to buy a house for myself right now. I need you to sign off that you have no claim over it."
"That's no problem," thank God he was agreeable, "But what's your name?"
"Y/N L/N," you said, "Well, legally Y/N Weasley."
The man smirked at you, which admittedly made your stomach flip. Drunk you definitely had good taste: this man was gorgeous.
"Where's the house you're buying?" he asked.
"Godric's Hollow."
"Ah, my sister lives there," he hummed, "Nice village."
"Can I ask you a question - since you're my husband and all?" you didn't know why you added the last bit.
"Fire away."
"Why does everyone keep going on about muggles and wizards and witches and magic? I'm so lost, I don't know what's happening."
"Wait- you're a muggle?"
"As everyone apparently keeps saying."
He chuckled, "Oh, wow. My wife's a muggle."
"What does it mean?"
"I'll explain," he gestured towards the door to the back room, "But it'll be a lot to take in."
"I don't care, I just want an explanation."
And so, your husband, George Weasley, explained about the wizarding world that he was a part of. And how, by marrying him, you had automatically been granted permission by the Ministry of Magic to be an exception for all anti-muggle charms. Which was why you discovered the road to Godric's Hollow all of a sudden as a non-magic person, which you learned was what muggle meant.
At the very end of his explanation, you sat back in the armchair he had offered to you, "That explains so much. It's insane- but I'm relieved that it's not me going crazy."
"Must be quite a shock," he hummed, "I can't believe we got married. Are there any photos?"
"I mean, I suppose we could find the chapel we got married at and ask."
"Maybe it will trigger some memories of that night. I got drunkenly married - who knows what else I did?" he sighed.
"I don't know if I want to know."
George shrugged, "Better to find out that way than have a random woman come into your place of work and announce she's your wife."
You grimaced, making him laugh.
"I'm just teasing."
"Can I get your number? So I can contact you when I need to?" you asked.
George stared at you, "Number?"
"How do wizards and witches communicate?" you exasperated.
"By owl."
You blanked.
"You might want to get yourself one if you're moving into a wizarding village."
"How do they know where to go?"
"They just do."
You sighed.
***
"So, I phoned the chapel that we got married at and they confirmed that we signed the marriage registration and sent it off immediately," you said to George, taking a seat opposite him in your flat that you currently resided in, "They also posted this to me." You presented a large envelope to your husband and watched as he carefully opened it - even though it was already unsealed thanks to you.
He pulled out a marriage certificate: lettered in italic gold writing and clearly signed on the bottom two corners. As he pulled that out, another piece of card fluttered to the ground. You chewed your lip as you watched him pick it up.
"Wow," was all he said.
It was the same reaction you had when looking upon the photo of you and George at the alter: lips pressed together with smiles creeping on to your faces.
"We look so happy."
You hummed, "The photo hasn't triggered any memories for me."
You watched curiously as he waved it about. "It's weird that muggle photos don't move," he commented, "But- yeah- I can't remember anything more either."
"Maybe it's been too long," you reasoned, "Perhaps if we'd seen the photo the day after, it would've helped."
"Probably," he shrugged, "I can find a charm or potion that will help us remember - if you want to."
It hadn't occurred to you that magic was now a readily available tool.
"I'm not sure, to be honest," you said after a while, "I just really want to seal the deal on my house."
George nodded, "Of course, I'll sign the papers saying I have no right to it."
"Thank you for making this so easy," you said, giving him a warm grin, "When I found out I was married, I was so worried it was to a complete asshole."
"When I found out I was married, I thought it was simply a cute way a gorgeous woman had of flirting with me."
You felt heat rush to your cheeks at his comment. George was a stunning man: his damaged ear only added a rugged element to him, enhancing his beauty in a way that you didn't know possible.
He noticed your flustered reaction and chuckled a bit, "However, there is one problem with me signing those papers that your real estate agent really should've mentioned."
"What?" you filled with worry: that house was your dream house.
"If you're buying a house in the wizarding world, you're going to need a wizarding bank account."
"He kept going on about galleons," you thought for a moment, "But then he converted to pounds so I didn't think much of it."
George hummed, "Yes, but you're still going to need to pay in galleons."
"How do I get a wizarding bank account?"
"Only wizards, witches, squibs and muggles married to any of the former can access one. Oh, and muggles with magic children, even if they aren't married."
You realised what he was getting at. "So I can get one, but..."
"But it has to be a shared one with me."
You pulled your hands down your face, "But I love that house so much."
"I promise you I'm not trying to trap you."
"No, no- I get it. I just- that means I'd have to stay married to you until my mortgage is paid off. And that takes like thirty years."
"Even then, the bills would still need to be paid in galleons."
"Oh, fuck," you muttered, "Fuck, fuck, fuck."
George watched you in silence.
"I'm sorry. I'll divorce you and forget about the house," you said eventually, "It's not fair for me to force you to stay in a marriage for the rest of your life - I mean, I can't force you."
"I didn't say anything about that."
You frowned. In your mind, there was no other option.
"I'm willing to do it."
"George, it's just a house, you really don't need to-"
"I will," he reiterated, "You realise that if you divorce me, you won't be able to access the magic world anymore?"
It had become something you were so excited to explore that you were disheartened by that fact.
"It would be cruel for me to take it away from you, I think."
"But-"
"So, I will set you up on my bank account, sign off on the house, and stay married to you."
Your mouth was opened wide as you stared at him, and in a flash you had leaped across the coffee table in order to pull him into a hug.
"You're so amazing," you mumbled, hugging him tighter as he returned the embrace, "Thank you so much."
"Hey, anything for my wife," he chuckled.
Your heart stopped.
***
"I've had to change my name on my driver's license and passport and bank account and everything else," you sighed, "Such a hassle for a fucking house."
George, who was walking with you throughout the empty house that you had just officially bought, chuckled, as he seemed to enjoy doing, "You must really love this place."
You shrugged, "The house, I would probably get over. An entire magical world that I would lose access to? Not so much."
He hummed, gazing around the place. You had decided that he at least deserved to see the property that he had given up so much for you to own.
"I can't wait to begin decorating," you sighed, "I have big plans for the downstairs rooms and the master bedroom."
"What about the other bedrooms?"
"I'm not sure, to be honest," you pondered, "I'll probably make one of them an office, but the other two, I honestly don't know. It'll be a while before I have any kiddly winks running around."
"How come?"
"I need to find a man to create them with first," you reminded, "And that will be especially complicated since I'm married."
"Not if it's with me."
You were pretty sure his words held a joking undertone, so you laughed.
"Well, I shan't keep you any longer," you said, "I guess we'll keep in touch?"
"Stop by my shop as much as you can," George replied, but you sensed a slight trace of sadness in his voice.
Nonetheless, you smiled, "Of course."
***
Was two days later too soon to take George up on his offer of stopping by? Maybe, but life was too short for you to not do the things that you wanted to do. Plus, you were exhausted from moving furniture and painting (since you were stuck doing it the 'muggle' way), so a getaway from your new home was needed.
After getting someone from the Leaky Cauldron to let you into Diagon Alley, you made your way down to the corner that Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes sat on. You couldn't help the fond smile that tugged on your lips as you pushed open the door and heard the tinkle of the bell above you. The last time you were there, you had been too nervous about meeting your husband to properly appreciate the joyful buzz of the shop; it was truly a marvel to witness. You wish you had grown up with access to such extraordinary things.
"Hello," a redhead popped up beside you.
You jumped a little, not failing to notice the fact this man, although initially appearing to be George, had two full ears.
"Hello... Fred?" you attempted to recall his name.
He nodded, "I must say, I wasn't expecting my sister-in-law to pop by today."
It hadn't occurred to you that George would have mentioned his marriage to his twin brother, but now it seemed obvious that he would have.
"Is my husband here?" you asked, adding a joking undertone. Nonetheless, you couldn't help but notice how warm saying that made you feel.
"Of course, he's out back."
"Should I...?" you trailed off.
"You don't need to ask permission to go out back," he chuckled, in a strikingly similar way to George, "You're married to one of the owners."
"Yeah, but-" but before you could finish your sentence, your brother-in-law had disappeared. With a sigh, you proceeded on your way to the staff-only space, unable to push aside how special you felt being able to freely enter the area.
It was only when you caught sight of George's back did you realise that you had nothing to say and had simply stopped by.
"Y/N!" he smiled, turning around upon sensing your presence, "What brings you here?"
You shrugged, "You said to stop by often."
His grin stretched wider, "That I did, I'm glad to see you."
You felt shy after hearing him say that, and avoided eye contact.
"How's moving in going?"
"Oh- well. Exhausting, though," you sighed.
"I can't imagine having to do everything without magic," he said, "If you want any help to speed up the process, I'm more than willing."
You shook your head, "You've done enough for me."
"I could never do enough for you," he half-mumbled, but you heard it. You couldn't believe it, but you heard it. "I'm free this weekend," he said at a more regular volume.
"I mean- if you're sure-"
"Of course I'm sure."
"I-" you stopped yourself, "Thank you, George."
"Georgie!" a voice called from the front of the shop, not long before a short plump woman appeared in the doorway. "There you are," she said with hands on her hips.
"Oh, hi, mum," he said, "I wasn't expecting you."
"I was just in town looking to pick up your father a new shirt - I don't know how he wears them out so quickly!" she sighed, "I thought I'd take the chance to invite you over for a roast on Sunday."
You smiled at the evidently kind woman.
"And who is this?" she asked.
"This is Y/N."
"How did you two meet?" this time she had a glint in her eye.
"Uh, funny story, actually," George scratched the back of his head, "We're married."
You were surprised at his honesty with his mother.
The woman's eyes widened, "And you didn't tell me!"
"No one knew, mum- not even us," he quickly added.
She seemed to ignore what the last part of his statement implied, and swooped you into her arms, "Welcome to the family, my dear, we have a lot of time to make up for! You'll be coming on Sunday too, yes?"
She didn't give you a chance to reply.
"I'll have to tell your father immediately - do all your siblings know? I expect Fred does. Probably Ron too." She paused, "I haven't even introduced myself! Molly Weasley - call me Molly, of course."
"Mum-"
"Godric- I have so many people to tell! I'll see you both Sunday at four o'clock, please don't be late."
And with a hug to both of you, Molly Weasley departed just as rapidly as she had arrived.
"I'm sorry about that- my mum can be very full on," George apologised.
"I think she's sweet."
A soft smile graced his face, "Yes, she's a very lovely woman."
You hummed.
"I'll get you out of the dinner."
You frowned, "Why?"
"Well, my family will think you're- well-"
With a shrug, you replied, "I don't mind."
"I have a big family."
"I know."
"Most of them are quite loud people."
"That's okay."
"They'll ask a lot of questions."
"George, I want to meet your family," you realised as soon as you said them what your words could potentially mean.
"It's just- I- I don't want them to scare you away."
"Scare me away?"
He nodded.
You chuckled, "I'd like to see them try."
***
Sunday rolled around quickly, and as promised, George showed up at your house to pick you up at five to four. You figured that his parents must live very nearby if he was picking you up so late, but you hadn't given it much thought. All you had done was focused on yourself, dressing up what you deemed the adequate amount for a family event.
A knock sounded on the door, and you quickly rushed to open it, smiling when you were faced with the red headed man that you could call your husband. He was wearing a knitted jumper and baggy jeans, which was a relief to you since you also sported a knitted jumper, just with a skirt instead.
"Hello," you said, almost shyly.
"Hey," he replied, "You ready to go?"
"Yep, let me just-" you hurried back inside to grab the bouquet of flowers that you had bought for his mother, you weren't familiar with the guidelines for meeting family as you had never been in a relationship long enough to reach that stage, but flowers had felt like the right thing.
"Oh, for me?" he said teasingly.
You shook your head, dramatically holding them away from him, "You would be so lucky."
He chuckled, "Right, let's get going," he held out his arm for you to take, "You're gonna want to hold tight."
You frowned, but took his advice nonetheless, taking a firm grip of his bicep which had a hardness that made your heart flip. But before you could dwell on that thought, you felt like you had been sucked into a vacuum and spat out again in a split second. Your stomach cramped up and you felt nauseous as you fell on to grass in a completely new location.
"Sorry, that often happens the first time," George quickly helped you up along with the flowers, which thankfully were unharmed.
"Did we just- teleport?" you asked, holding your stomach. Thankfully, the nausea was already dissipating.
"We call it apparating but yes, we did."
"Why couldn't I be born a witch?" you whined, following George as he began walking up the path ahead of you.
You could only be amazed when the strangest house that you had ever seen came into view: looking like it should tumble over instantly with the mismatched extensions stacked on top of each other. Not too long ago, you would have been worried about its sketchy looking state, but now you immediately concluded that it was kept steady by magic. Even at the distance you still were from the house, you could hear a lot of noise coming from it.
"I bet you anything Fleur and Hermione insisted on being early," George grumbled, "Making my brothers look like angelic sons."
You smiled to yourself: his relationship with his siblings was making you want to reach out to your sister.
George didn't bother knocking when you reached the door, simply throwing it open and grinning at everyone who was stood around the kitchen. You couldn't help but feel some level of nerves as you were faced with so many strangers.
"George! Y/N!" Molly beamed, pulling you both into a hug, "I'm so glad that you could make it."
You presented the flowers to her, "I got you these."
"Oh, they're gorgeous!"
You watched as she pulled out her wand and arranged them in a vase without even using her hands. You didn't think observing magic would ever get old.
"Thank you, dear," she said, before turning to the others in the room. There was Ron, who you vaguely recognised from the shop, with a curly brown-haired woman on his side. Then there was the most ethereal woman that you had ever seen next to one of the more rugged looking men that you had seen in your time. There was also an older, balding, red headed man, who you suspected to be George's father.
"Y/N, you might remember Ron here," George said, and you nodded, "And this is his fiancée, Hermione. This is my dad, and over there is my oldest brother, Bill, and his wife, Fleur."
"Our little shit of a son is running around here somewhere," Bill added.
"Pleasure to meet you, Y/N," George's father shook your hand, "You can call me Arthur."
"I didn't realise you were bringing a guest, George," Hermione said.
"Oh, she's no guest," Molly smiled, "She's family."
The only person who didn't exchange confused glances was Ron.
"I'm his, uh, wife," you said, feeling awkward. You didn't really want to say it, because it felt like you were lying to them even though you weren't.
What followed was an array of congratulations, and Hermione accusing Ron of not telling her when he clearly already knew. And then, upon being asked, you both finally revealed that it was an accidental marriage upon which you were both very drunk. Molly was new to this news as well, but nonetheless, before you could give any more detail on where your 'relationship' with George currently stood, she spoke.
"As irresponsible as that was, I think there's something beautiful in the fact that you're now happily married."
While you weren't unhappily married, you didn't know how to say that you didn't know you were married until a couple months later, and that you weren't in a relationship with George. He said nothing to clarify, either.
That was when a small boy tumbled into the room.
"Ah, zis is Victoire," Fleur said, "Our son."
He was just as red headed as his father.
God, your kids with George would probably end up redheaded.
You internally froze at that thought - why had it seemed so natural to imagine yourself having kids with George?
You were yet again distracted from your mind, as seemed common in the Weasley household, when more people arrived. It was Fred and his fiancée, Angelina, as you soon learned. Shortly followed by Harry Potter, allegedly quite a celebrity, who was dating George's only sister, Ginny.
The only person to arrive alone was Percy, who had a much less chaotic energy than the rest of his siblings.
"You'll meet Charlie at some point," Molly said to you, "But he lives in Romania for his work with dragons."
It was insane to you that George had five brothers and one sister; having six siblings seemed like such a hectic upbringing. That thought almost led you to brush over Molly's mention of dragons - dragons?
Once again, you were introduced as George's wife, solidifying you in their eyes as a sister-in-law. These were your in-laws, you realised.
"Dinner's almost ready," Molly announced over the noise of all the people.
Many people rushed forward to help the woman with the finishing touches and laying the table, and you felt like an ass for not assisting as well, but you would have been of no help. They were all using magic, which was ten times faster than you could complete any task.
"What year did you graduate school? I can't remember you," Ginny said, evidently assuming that her lack of recognition was because you had been in a different year at Hogwarts from her. George had told you how most witches and wizards in a similar age group knew each other because of there only being one magic school in the country.
"I didn't go to Hogwarts," you said.
"Oh, did you study abroad?" she asked, walking over to the table with you.
"No, uh, I'm a- I'm a muggle."
Her eyes widened in realisation, "Oh! I see," she hummed, "That makes sense now that I think about it."
"You're a muggle?" Hermione, who had overheard, said.
You nodded.
"I'm muggle-born," she said, "I was raised muggle."
"I was raised muggle too," Harry added on, "But I'm not muggle-born."
After that point, Arthur Weasley kept posing an array of questions to you, explaining that he was fascinated by muggles, and it was even what had led him to having the job that he did. Wanting to be liked, you answered all his questions as best as you could, and found his childlike curiosity quite endearing.
"Leave the poor girl alone, Arthur," Molly scolded her husband.
"I don't mind," you replied, and, really, you didn't.
The food was absolutely delicious, to the point you almost moaned when you first put it in your mouth. You didn't think you had ever eaten such delectable food before, and you made sure that Molly knew.
Once the first course was finished and dessert was being brought out, Bill and Fleur stood up.
"We have an announcement to make," the latter smiled, looking to her husband.
"Fleur's pregnant," Bill grinned, placing his hand on her abdomen.
"Oh, that's wonderful news!" Molly exclaimed, "How far along?"
"Twelve weeks, two days ago," Fleur said, "In ze clear zone, as zey say."
"We don't know the gender yet," Bill added.
"For your sake I hope it's a girl," Molly sighed, "It took me six tries."
"We will be happy eizer way," Fleur said simply.
You couldn't help but get the sense there was some level of tension between her and Molly, so you leaned over to George as everyone began chatting again, congratulating the expecting couple.
"Do your mum and Fleur get along?" you whispered.
"Well, yes, but they haven't always," he whispered back, "My mum thought she was vain at first, even thinking that she would call off the wedding when Bill got that scar." He was referring to the large mark on his eldest brother's face.
You hummed.
"They've mostly resolved their problems now, but I think there will always be a bit of tension."
After dinner, you wandered around the home, observing all the moving pictures of the family.
"Aw, you were so cute back then," you said to George, looking at a photo of him as a toddler on a mini broomstick.
"Are you saying I'm not anymore?"
You shrugged.
"And how do you know that's me and not Fred?"
"You may be a twin, but there's only one of you, George," you said in passing, not realising how much those words meant to your husband. As much as he loved being an identical twin, there were times where he didn't want to be seen as part of a package deal. Even his mother struggled to tell him and Fred apart before his ear injury, but you- you could recognise him instantly.
Your gaze moved up the wall.
"That's an interesting clock."
It didn't tell the time, but instead had a hand for all of Molly and Arthur's brood, all currently pointing in the direction of 'home' apart from who must be Charlie, which pointed at work.
"Even on Sundays, he works," George sighed, "You know, there was a time where me and Fred had the same hand."
"Really?"
"Yeah, but after he moved in with Angelina, mum had it altered."
Your eyes flicked over the 'mortal peril' section of the clock, and you didn't realise you had read it aloud til he responded.
"Thankfully that hasn't served a purpose since the war."
It was unbelievable to you that such a life-changing war had happened while you remained completely oblivious.
"I suppose we'll have to expand the guest list for our wedding," Angelina approached you, making you turn away from the clock.
"Oh, you don't have to do that," you said.
"No, no. An extra person is hardly anything," she smiled, "You're family, of course you're coming."
Family.
"Well, thank you."
"Of course."
***
As you and George said your goodbyes and departed, you couldn't help but let out an elated sigh, "Your family is so warm."
He smiled, "I'm glad you like them."
"They're like, everything I want my in-laws to be."
"Really?"
"Yeah! Loud, happy, there for each other - with the slightest hint of drama, of course. They're perfect."
"We've been through a lot together."
"Yeah, I expect so."
You both fell into a comfortable silence, one that had you feeling content with your life in the most heart-warming way.
"You ready to apparate again?" George broke the silence when you reached the end of the path.
"As ready as I'll ever be," you grasped his arm tightly, prepping yourself for what was to come.
You didn't fall to the ground this time when you appeared outside your house, but you did still feel nauseous for a few moments.
"I'm really glad you came," George said.
"I'm glad too," you smiled.
And then there was silence - tension-filled silence. The kind of silence that led up to what you had secretly hoped would happen this entire time.
His lips on yours.
You moved your hands up to his hair as the kiss got more heated, flashes of memories dancing through your brain.
You met at the bar your cousin's bachelorette party was at, and began chatting. He was charming, and funny, and you were both really drunk. You went on a walk together - you walked past a chapel.
You had suggested getting married - jokingly, but he had then said.
"Why don't we?"
And so you did, giggling and laughing the entire time, even when you kissed. The kiss held the same magical feeling as it did now, that's what had triggered the memory.
He had kissed all along your jaw and neck as you both filled out the forms, and it wasn't long before you both booked a hotel and by all technical terms, consummated.
"I remember," you parted from him breathlessly, only to kiss him again.
"Me too," he mumbled, pushing you back against your front door.
"Do you want to come in?" you asked.
***
This time, you were the one to wake up alone in bed, but that wasn't the only difference. You remembered every single moment and sensation from the night before - and from your wedding night, for that matter. A smile almost crept on to your face, but it dropped when the panic set in that George had upped and left like you had before. You scrambled out of bed, pulling a shirt and some pants on, and then rushed down the stairs to see if he was anywhere in your house.
And he was.
There your husband was, in the kitchen, cooking a full English breakfast - using magic, of course. You had electric appliances installed when you moved in, since most magic homes didn't generally possess them, but with George there, you supposed they weren't really necessary.
"Hey, love."
Love. That's what he had called you all of last night and your wedding night.
It made heat travel to your ears.
"Hi," you replied shyly.
"Take a seat, I'm almost finished."
You obeyed, deciding to let the wizard take care of you, even though he really had done too much for you ever since you met him - the second time, that was.
Your dining table was a temporary one, as your entire home was still a work in progress: it wasn't easy decorating an entire house by yourself, especially without the assistance of magic. Nevertheless, it did the job. George came over with the food and sat opposite you, gesturing for you to dig in.
"Thank you," you smiled, picking up the cutlery.
"I told you, anything for you."
"You're too perfect," you mumbled, making George chuckle.
"My ear may be injured, but my hearing's fine."
You looked up at him to make eye contact, feeling like he could read you with his gaze, "Your ear makes you even more perfect."
"I'm glad you think so, would be a bit upsetting for me if you didn't."
"I aim to please," you grinned.
***
"You didn't tell me the wedding would be quite so soon," you huffed, straightening out the pastel pink dress you adorned in the mirror.
George shrugged, tightening his tie, "Didn't think about it."
You were, of course, in reference to Angelina and Fred's wedding, merely two weeks after the dinner in which you met the former. Out of all the moving boxes you still had left to unpack, you had been forced to dig for a suitable outfit that fitted the colour scheme.
Aside from work, you and George had been practically glued at the hip in the days since he first stayed at yours - and he had been consistently staying at yours ever since. He had probably spent about three nights total at his own flat in that time span. So much to the point that when he came over the day prior, he had brought his suit for the wedding with him, fully anticipating that he would be spending the night.
You hadn't put a label on what you currently were, other than legally married, as it was.
"We have to be early," he said, "Since I'm the best man."
"I'm aware," you replied, sitting on the edge of your bed to pull your shoes on, "I'm pretty much ready."
"Alright, let's go."
***
The ceremony was a beautiful occasion: held at the Weasley house, The Burrow. The entire garden was decorated beautifully in shades of pink, purple and white, with bouquets of flowers adorning every table and chair. Obviously, a drastic difference from your own wedding.
You were sat in the crowd while George was up near the altar with the maid of honour, but he was not your focus. Angelina was a transcendent bride.
When it came to the meal, you were - to your shock - sat on the primary table where the newly weds were. You supposed that it made sense, since George was obviously going to be sat by his twin brother, and you were his wife. Generally, married couples weren't separated at events. You were certainly relieved, since you hardly knew anybody else.
The only other people on the main table were Molly, Arthur, Angelina's parents, and Angelina's maid of honour and her partner. There was a second table for the rest of the Weasley siblings and their partners, and so on and so forth for more distant relatives and friends.
Once the toasts were made, the meal commenced, and you hadn't realised how hungry you were 'til that moment.
"Slow down, love," your husband commented, "I'd prefer if you didn't choke."
You shrugged, your mouth full. Once you had eventually swallowed, you said, "Much grander event than our wedding."
"We could always renew our vows," he said, and even though he had made many comments about wanting to do anything for you, and had done many intimate things to you in the bedroom (and elsewhere in your house, for that matter), it felt like the first real confirmation that you were in a relationship. Even more, that you weren't just in a marriage out of convenience, but instead because you simply wanted to be.
You parted your mouth to reply, when some children from Angelina's side began causing chaos by running around. "Lord, our kids better behave," you muttered.
George turned to look at you, and it was then that you became aware of what you had said.
"Our kids?" he was grinning.
"Shut up," you mumbled.
"Never - just let me know when you want to start, love," he winked at you.
"A bit too soon, I think."
He shrugged, "We got married within a few hours of knowing each other."
"We were drunk."
"We can get drunk again."
You sighed, "We don't even live together."
"I can move in."
You didn't have anymore rebuttals.
"Are you out of arguments now?" he asked.
You reluctantly nodded.
"Perfect."
***
Instead of apparating directly to your house, you and George decided to take a late night walk around Godric's Hollow. It was such a pretty village, and you had yet to appreciate its beauty in the dark, with all the magical lamps glowing around you. But, you knew that you and George needed to have a conversation, especially after the kids talk from earlier.
"Are we together?" you asked him, even though your interlocked hands should have answered the question.
"We're married, love."
"Yes, but are we together?"
"I'd like to think we are - do you?"
You remained silent for a few moments, before nodding and looking at him in the darkness of the night.
"Then there you have it."
"I just don't get why."
"Why what?"
"Why you've done so much for me when you hardly knew me."
George chuckled, "I admit, I don't know exactly when I made the decision to do anything for you, but when you strutted into my shop, determined as ever, and announced that you were my wife, I just-" he paused, squeezing your hand, "You looked so cute and I knew- in that moment- that I would never meet someone else like you."
You felt like you were melting on the spot.
"It may have seemed selfless that I helped you get the house - but, to be honest, it was the perfect excuse for me to trap you to me- make it easier for me to pursue you, that is."
"I love you, George," you sighed.
"I'm glad, because I've loved you for quite some time now."
"Love at first sight?"
"You would be so lucky."
You let out a childish giggle at that.
"But, yes, I think it was."

My guilty pleasure as well. Fuckboy Fred is my creme de la creme. uncanon fun silly Fred one shot.
Part 2
You nervously watch the bottle in the middle spin around. And around. And around. Until it jolted with a stop on you.
Your glance hesitates as it trails up to meet the bottle’s spinner, who’s green eyes light up with glee.
“This is gonna be so good,” Fred Weasley exclaimed with a wicked smile. He leaned back on his elbows, waiting for your next move. Gulping nervously, you reach towards him wondering how a post-Quidditch party turned into a scene from your nightmares.
Everyone who decided to partake in the game whoops and hollers as you finally reach in the middle of the circle and claim your shot glass of the clear liquid. George had suggested that the house play “Veritaserum Roulette” with a stolen bottle of the potion. While preparing N.E.W.T-level potions was a grueling task, the fun came in seeing who was able to snag a bottle from the professor’s watchful eye to share amongst the house. You decided not to inspect your shot glass and threw the liquid back down your throat, then set the shot glass upside down on the ground like you saw in the Muggle movies. You immediately felt your face get hot but you knew it wouldn’t be because you ingested any serum, rather it was the pressure of having all the 7th year Gryffindor staring you down with intense concentration.
“S-someone has to ask a question,” You stuttered, picking the shot glass back up to fidget with it. Initially when the game was introduced, it was simply truth or dare. You could’ve easily backed out if that. Now, you couldn’t stop anything that was to come out of your mouth if you chose the glass with Veritaserum. You hoped that the two questions chosen for you would spare you any embarrassment.
“Do you fancy anyone at this moment?” Angelina leaned forward, taking her hands off of Fred. She was laying herself across Fred all night, non-discreetly showing off the fact that she was his latest… “conquest” as you overheard one of his friends call the girls that swooned over the redhead. Fred shot to popularity after bringing the Gryffindor Quidditch to back to back championships and it only inflated his ego more so than it already was. Despite his poor reputation, you couldn’t deny that the girls dreaming about Fred were warranted in their pursuit. Fred and George didn’t become the star Beaters without a rigorous workout regiment that hardened their muscles and broadened their shoulders. Their rugged appearances paired with their reliable and goofy personalities made them unstoppable.
Fred also happened to be your first friend at Hogwarts, finding you crying after a particularly embarrassing flying class during your first year. He sat with you and assured you that it wasn’t a show of your skills but the result of faulty school broomsticks. From that day, Fred guided you on flying while you tutored him in Potions.
All this time later, you didn’t need flying lessons anymore, but Fred still needed Potions help. You would never admit it, but your favorite part of the week was sitting in the library with Fred absolutely engrossed in homework. You would steal glances as he nipped the end of his quill in deep thought or when he would push his falling hair out of his face. Fred’s worst trait was his lack of spatial awareness and he’d always lean in too close while you explained the more difficult concepts to him. He was always chewing a sharp minty gum and smelled of a piney cologne that reminded you of Christmas. It distracted you often and made you turn beet red when he noticed the change in your diction. This would only make Fred lean in closer, inquiring about your odd behavior. All this time, you fought off any feelings you could have developed because you were realistic. You weren’t the Quidditch player, social butterfly types that Fred dated. Angelina was a prime example. Speaking of her, your desperate attempt to avoid answering her question was null and void when you felt as if you were being puppeted to speak.
“I do,” You squeaked out. Your hands flung to your mouth, but the attempt was feeble. Everyone quickly muttered amongst themselves to figure out the next question to ask you. At this moment, you felt like a criminal on trial. The easy next question was “who?” but the chatter alluded to a deeper question. It surely appalled everyone that you had a crush. You largely avoided the dating scene despite the relentless attempts from Oliver Wood. You thought Oliver was sweet and went on a singular date with him last year, but he was only focused on Quidditch. Much like Fred.
“Who is it? Is it Oliver? If it isn’t, who?” A younger Gryffindor blurred out in excitement and you felt the same puppet feeling in your gut and as you began to answer, Fred reached over and clamped his hand on your mouth. Your face was burning so hot at this moment you were sure you were sweating.
“Hey! We can only ask one more questions. We gotta make them good. Don’t answer those,” Fred instructed, removing his hand from your face. He brushed a piece of hair that fell out of place back behind your ear, making your stomach flip. This was such a ridiculous feeling. “Did you ever bed Oliver?”
“No? N..no!” You raised your eyebrows at Fred, appalled he would ask such a question. Once you opened your mouth, more words flowed out like a broken faucet. “I’ve never bedded anyone. Oliver was always on the Quidditch Pitch and it isn’t exactly the sexiest place in the castle.”
Your statement made the room laugh, which only increased your self consciousness. You shrugged and admitted you weren’t embarrassed at the fact for never having done anything with Oliver or any man. You were already covering your face with both hands, definitely sweating at this point. The group decided to refill on butterbeer, leaving you to seal your mouth shut with a cup of water. Fred stayed next to you, his green eyes filling with a mischievous glint.
“Has the Veritaserum worn off?” Fred asked, tilting his head up to look at you. He kept unwavering eye contact that made your mind go blank.
“Not yet,” You answered, still under the influence of the potion. Hopefully Fred wouldn’t press any further or that it would wear off before then.
“Ah… So, while I have you here, you really never slept with Oliver?” Fred leaned in closer, a smirk forming across your face. You shook your head and reaffirmed what he already knew. “Why not? And don’t give me the Quidditch answer.”
“I was waiting for the right person,” You said lamely, unable to fight the potion’s effect. Fred lifted an eyebrow.
“You’ve never fantasized?” Fred blocked you from grabbing a cup of water that would render you voiceless.
“Not about Oliver. Wh-why are you asking?” You fought your thoughts hard to answer Fred’s question as vaguely as possible.
“Hey, I thought I was asking the questions here. I just wanted to know what makes the timid girl that tutors me in Potions tick,” Fred moved so close to you that you could clearly smell his cologne. Luckily, his statement wasn’t laced with a question and the potion took no effect, allowing you to shake your head shyly.
“So you said not Oliver, so who do you think about?” Fred figured out how to narrow his question and before you could stop, your mouth betrayed you.
“Us,” You said, feeling like you broke the dam. Fred’s eyes grew wide, but his body language didn’t change. You were waiting for him to recoil out of instinct or turn red. But he continued to look at you coolly, turning a cup of butterbeer in his hands. Your heart jumped to your stomach and you felt like you couldn’t breathe. Your flight instinct kicked in, but before you could flee from the conversation, Fred grabbed your arm and forced you back down.
“What do you think about us?” Fred’s eyes darkened with an excitement you’ve never seen before. Arousal. You could only take a big gulp before your dirty fantasies about the boy you tutored that you kept locked away spilled out of your mouth for the world to hear.
“I think about you sliding a hand up my skirt in the library. Telling me to be quiet. I want to kiss you until I can’t feel my lips. I want to see you without a shirt on. I think about you pulling my hair back to look at you while you f-“ Your mortification overtook your entire body and you collapsed before you could finish your sentence with a yelp. Fred took a hold of you before you could hit the wall, making sure to take a long look at you. His face still had the cocky smile that you’d grown to love. His strong arm that was wrapped supportively around your waist and got tighter as he tried to figure out his next question. Your squirming didn’t help and you had no choice but to be stuck in his investigation.
“Are you thinking about it right now?” Fred’s eyes flitted from your eyes to your lips and if your heart wasn’t beating out of your chest, you would’ve had half the mind to kiss him.
“Yes,” You practically slurred, unable to calm down from the situation unfolding before you. Fred ran a comforting hand up and down your back, soothing your nerves only slightly.
“Do you want to go up to my room to show me some of these fantasies?” Fred said blatantly. Of course you did and of course you let him know.
“Yes but,” You took a large inhale trying to ease your racing heart. “But what about Angelina?”
“I don’t want her. I want you,” Fred said definitively, sending a chill down your back. “Are you sure you want to do this? I don’t want to pressure you into anything just because you don’t have control of your thoughts right now.”
“I want you, Fred,” You said with a confidence that surprised even you. The words were genuine, the feeling of being puppeted by your mouth was gone. As you focused on Fred’s words and realized what he was proposing, you felt a simmering heat between your thighs and that you had been rubbing your thighs together to cause a reliving friction between them. But the clarity brought another realization. “You… you don’t even like me. I’m. I’m not going to be one of your conquests or whatever.”
“Gods, really are clueless are you?” Fred laughed at your out-of-character quip. He used his free hand to tilt your chin up to meet his eyes. “Did you really think I was spending all this time in the library thinking about Potions? Why the hell would I take N.E.W.T-level Potions if I was bad at it? I just had to pretend enough for you to keep studying with me.”
Fred’s confession stunned you silent. Without second thought, you wrapped your arms around Fred’s neck and leaned forward to meet his lips with yours. He gave an amused noise, kissing you back gladly. The kiss was unlike anything you’ve ever experienced. You were fulfilling a need you didn’t know you had, pressing deeper and deeper into the redhead’s mouth. Fred skillfully nipped at your bottom lip, slipping his tongue into your mouth when you moaned at the unfamiliar feeling. You were a little intimidated by his knowledge and your lack thereof, but the hand he was rubbing on your waist made you forget about anything besides him. He started to move a hand towards your chest and smirked wildly when you whimpered because he pulled away.
“My room. Now,” Fred said breathlessly, practically dragging you up the stairs. He hastily cast a locking and silencing charm before pushing you on the bed. Fred hovered over you, obviously delighted by your misshapen appearance. He had you pinned to the bed with one leg between your thigh and his arms at either side of your head.
The burning in your stomach only grew and Fred continued to kiss you, tasting every bit of you. He snaked a hand up your shirt, palming you through the fabric of your bra. When you least suspected it, he pulled the fabric down, pinching your firmed nipple in between his forefinger and thumb. The sensation made you moan loudly into his kisses and buck your hips up on his thigh.
“That’s a good girl,” Fred purred, continuing to flex his fingers around your breast. “Stop me if you want at any moment.”
“Take off your clothes,” Your voice was so whiny with need that you hardly recognized it. Fred only chuckled and moved his hand away from your chest to start removing your clothes instead of his. You batted his hand away and ran your fingers down his broad chest. You slowly undid his buttons, shaking from nervousness and exhilaration. Every button revealed more of his tanned muscular body that made your mouth watered. Fred continued supporting himself over you, enjoying your desperation.
When you finally managed to shed his shirt, you could barely focus. Your eyes trailed down his chest to the trail of hair on his stomach that pointed directly to the tension in his pants.
“I… I don’t know what to do,” You admitted to Fred, tangling your hands in his hair nervously.
“It’s okay. I think it’s time for me to teach you something to thank you for the last few years,” Fred said cockily, amazing you at how he stayed the same while you were falling apart under his touch. He quickly removed your clothes, tossing them somewhere in the middle of the room.
You felt vulnerable laying there in only your underwear, but Fred dragged his Quidditch-calloused hands down your body as he planted reassuring kisses on your mouth. His mouth followed his hand down until his lips were biting at the sensitive skin of your neck and his hand was rubbing circles on the soft skin of your inner thigh. You moved your hips down to meet his hand pleadingly and he took pity on you.
Fred moved his hands up to feel your arousal, circling his finger just around the bundle of nerves that begged to be touched. He knew exactly what he was doing and held your hips down with his free hand when you let out a whining groan. After teasing you, Fred slipped your underwear to the side, dragging his middle finger up your slick.
“Just how long have you been fantasizing about me?” Fred joked, breathing in as you moaned. He was barely making any movements and he had you reacting like this. Fred dragged his finger back and forth a few times before slowly pressing his middle finger into you, making sure to look up at you in order to spot any discomfort. You squirmed a little at the feeling, but once Fred started curling his finger, your body relaxed around the pleasure.
“More,” Your head sunk into Fred’s bed as your body grew accustomed to the feeling. Fred audibly smirked as he slipped his ring finger in as well, kissing you deeply. You realized his pants were still on and his fingers were speeding up from impatience. You reached down tenderly, running your fingers gently over the tent in his pants. He let out an airy breath before breaking the kiss to look at you.
“Feel it,” Fred encouraged you. His working fingers paused as he directed your hand with his free hand to his pants. Fred placed his hands on top of yours, simulating a squeeze. You copied his movement, earning a low groan from him. “Fuck… I need you right now.”
You shed your undergarments as Fred fumbled with his belt, too overtaken with lust to focus on unclipping the buckle. He finally released the leather binding and dropped his pants quickly, letting his cock fall as well. You watched with big eyes and Fred took your hand again to wrap it around his base.
“Just like that,” Fred praised as you moved your hand up and down. The friction was uncomfortable for you, so you pulled your hand back to lick a stripe up your palm and return it to his cock. The action made Fred roll his eyes back into his head and let his head drop as you continued to pump your hand up and down. “You’re so good, baby.”
Fred’s praise only made you want him more and the wanting in between your thighs got to be unbearable. As Fred was closing his eyes in bliss, you sneakily reached a hand down towards your folds to mimic his earlier actions in an attempt to ease the pressure. Fred felt you moving and quickly opened his eyes, catching you in the act. He tsked and removed your hand, pinning it by your head.
“Impatient are we, love?” Fred chuckled, sending vibrations through your stomach.
“Please,” You begged. “I want to feel you.”
Fred was impatient as you were and shifted his weight back to line himself up with your entrance. You were filled with such an excitement and nervousness that you subdued by reaching up for a kiss. Fred dragged the head of his cock against your slick folds, almost as if he was waiting for permissions.
“Fred. Fuck me,” You drawled, dizzy from anticipation. Fred let out a string of curses, then entered with a slow thrust. You let out a cry at the satisfying pain of feeling your walls stretch around Fred. He checked in again with you to make sure you were comfortable and you gave him a kiss on the cheek for assurance.
“You feel so amazing,” You slurred, eyes shutting from the pleasure. Fred slowly rolled his hips against yours, intertwining his hands with yours. He still had your hand pinned against your head and he was starting to lean forward, delivering soft grunts to your ear.
“You’re so… tight,” Fred mused aloud. You bucked your hips up to meet the friction the penetration was creating and Fred took that as a sign to go faster. He picked up his rhythm that made you sing a chorus of moans that melted into his name. Fred let curses fall out of his mouth and he picked up the speed of his thrusts, fully fucking you into the bed. Your cries only encouraged him.
Fred planted his lips on yours, creating a messy and heavy kiss that dripped with want. You tangled your hands in his hair, tugging whenever he would move to a certain spot that made your vision blur. A knotted feeling built up in your stomach like you never felt before.
“Fred… I- I’m-'' Fred understood what you were trying to get at and dropped a hand to your clit, rubbing soft circles that only tightened your stomach. With a cry, you broke from his interlocked hand and wrapped your arms around him as you nipped at his shoulder from the immense wave that washed over you. Fred laughed with such confidence it brought you back to life as he slowed down his thrusts.
“I’m almost there. Do you want me to keep going?” Fred panted, brushing a hair out of your face and kissing you on the forehead.
“Yes, please,” You relaxed back, feeling absolutely crazed. Fred dropped his head again and you reached up to trail kisses down his neck. “You fuck me so well, Fred.”
Your praise sent Fred over the edge and he unsheathed himself with a groan, spilling himself on your stomach. Fred collapsed beside you with a heave, then moved quickly to help clean you off. He climbed back into bed with you, pulling you close with a kiss.
“Telling the truth pays off, huh?”
“That, or Potions class.”

When Three Became Two 🪽| Platonic!Weasley Twins Imagine
Set during the Battle of Hogwarts
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Harry Potter masterlist
Characters & Pairings: George & Fred Weasley x Sister!Weasley Triplet (platonic), the Golden Trio x weasley!sister (platonic)
Content Warnings: Character Death, sadness, angst, mentions of blood and major injury, profanity | female!reader (she/her) | wc: 7k
Premise: The dynamic redheaded duo Fred & George were never particularly close with their older triplet sister Y/N, especially after she was sorted into Slytherin during their first year at Hogwarts. It is not till the Battle of Hogwarts do the twins realize just how important family is, but by then it was too late to make amends.
(Y/E/C)- Your eye color
Note: I’m going to put red hair because you know Weasley but if you want to envision your own hair color that is totally fine too. Also, just so y'all know....I started this piece back in 2018 and recently picked it back up. So....the last 400 words are pretty much the most recent material I added + i did A LOT of editing. So I apologize if the beginning is trash because like I said, 6k of the nearly 7k words are from 6 years ago. I've been hyperfixating on the Weasley twins again which is why I was like 'maybe I should finish that imagine I started...'
Italics are flashbacks
------------------
Y/n Weasley felt the sweat and blood drip off her forehead as she ran through the halls of the school she had spent several years in which became a second home to her. She was out of breath, dodging and reflecting spells that were casted her way from the surrounding death eaters. Screams and shouts echoed from every corner, flashes of red and green light nearly blinding her (Y/E/C) eyes while her flaming red hair swished when she ran. Her breath was wavering, she could see several of her fellow Order members dueling around her. Passing the Great Hall, her pace nearly faltering when her eyes locked on the doors, the memory of walking through the first time when she was just a nervous little eleven year old began to play in the redheads mind….
Y/n sighed, stepping off the Hogwarts Express for the first time. Her twin brothers had already raced to the boats leaving the smaller, although older, of the three behind. Picking up her robes that were slightly dragging due to her small stature, Y/n followed her fellow classmates to the boating docks, casting a smile to Hagrid as she walked past him, who in return smiled back. She found a boat that already had two other first years seated, and quickly took the spot adjacent to a girl about her age.
“Hi,” the girl smiled to the redhead, “I’m Angelina Johnson. What’s your name?”
“I’m Y/n Weasley, it’s nice to meet you,” the two shook hands with smiles.
“What house are you hoping to be in?”
“Honestly,” Y/n sighed, “I’m not sure. My whole family has been in Gryffindor, including my two older brothers who are currently here. It would be nice to be sorted there so I have my family, but I’ve always felt different.”
“Are those other two ginger boys your brothers?” Angelina pointed to the boat where Fred and George were laughing loudly while talking with a dark-skinned boy. Y/n nodded after looking where Angelina was pointing, turning back with a grim expression.
“Yeah, that’s Fred and George. We’re triplets, I’m the oldest of the bunch yet I never seem to be included in anything.”
“Aw, that’s not right,” Angelina said with a frown. The two continued to talk the entire boat ride to the castle, learning about their backgrounds and finding out  they had several similar interests. One could tell that the two instantly connected and were on the road to becoming best friends. The two girls got off the boat once it got to the docks, Y/n helping Angelina when she nearly tripped as she got out, to which the young girl was grateful for.
“Oh my gosh thank you!” Angelina exclaimed, “That would have been so embarrassing.” Y/n laughed slightly, fixing the girl’s robes.
“No problem, I wouldn't want you tripping on the first night and being made fun of before classes even started.” The two girls followed everyone to the entrance of the castle, beaming in awe of everything they passed. Climbing the steps that lead to the great hall seemed like forever, but soon they were faced with an older woman who wore a pointed hat on top of her head and green robes.
“Good evening,” she greeted, “I am Professor McGonagall. In a few moments, the doors behind me will open and you will enter the Great Hall where you will then be sorted into one of the four houses named after the four founding members of Hogwarts; Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin--.” She continued to explain the four houses to the children before the doors opened. When they did, Professor McGonagall escorted the group into the Great Hall. Many looked at the ceiling, gasping at the candles floating in midair. Some caught the eyes of soon to be fellow classmates, the students sending smiles to the young ones.
The group halted in front of the steps leading to the podium. The members of the head table gazed down on the children, Headmaster Dumbledore giving them a warm smile to welcome them making many feel more at ease. Professor McGonagall stood beside a stool, on top of it was a brown pointed hat.
“When I call your name,” she said, capturing everyone's attention, “You will step up, take a seat on the stool and I will place the sorting hat on your head where you will be sorted into your houses.” Y/n felt her hands become clammy, nerves racking through here with each name being called getting closer to hers. When Angelina was called and sorted into Gryffindor, Y/n clapped for her with a smile, happy for her new friend. She immediately hoped she would also be sorted into the house to be with not only her older brothers, but also with Angelina.
“Weasley, Fred.” The ginger boy raced up the stairs, careful not to trip over his robes and took a seat on the stool with a grin. The hat was placed onto his head and it took only moments before the hat exclaimed, “GRYFFINDOR!!” Cheers erupted from the lion house, the older Weasley boys, Charlie and Percy, clapping loudly for their brother and greeting him with open arms when he ran to the table. George was called next, the boy also running to the stool and the Gryffindor house applauded with joy once more hearing the sorting hat call out the name again. Fred and George embraced in a big hug, happy they were going to be in the same house and sat next to each other beside their brothers.
The room went quiet and Professor McGonagall read out the name many had already guessed was next, “Weasley, Y/n.” The small eleven-year-old let out a shaky breath, ascending the steps before taking a seat on the stool. She flinched when the hat was placed on her head and heard a gasp emitted from it.
“Ahh another Weasley,” the hat began, “only you are much different than your many siblings huh? Loyal to your family, a trait you value, but Hufflepuff is not for you. There is no doubt you are brave like a Gryffindor, there will be a time your bravery will be put to the test, but there is a strong ambition that lies within you. You are a very determined young one, and will do anything to accomplish your goals.” Y/N felt her heart begin to beat faster as the hat continued talking, “So, there is only one house in which you will find what you are looking for and that is SLYTHERIN!!”
That day, while no one wanted to admit it, changed everything. The twins hardly ever talked to Y/N, even less than what they already had. Many of the Slytherins ignored her, not enjoying the fact that a member of the blood-traitor family was sorted into the notorious pure-blood house. Even though Y/N was of pure blood, it did not matter to them, she was still relatively shunned from her housemates. Professor Snape was displeased at first until she proved she had a talent for potion making, becoming more advanced than any student he had ever taught. It was then he treated the Weasley girl with some actual respect and even allowed her to practice in the classroom whenever she pleased as long as she promised to never let her brothers get their hands on any of the ingredients he stored in the room.
Charlie, Angelina, and Cedric Diggory from Hufflepuff seemed to be the only people besides her parents and professors that looked beyond the fact she was in Slytherin. Others included her older brother Bill, her younger sister Ginny and eventually Hermione Granger. The bushy haired Gryffindor met the older Weasley in her first year at Hogwarts. After being told of the talented potion maker from Ron, Hermione sought to meet her. Y/N was shocked when the girl first introduced herself, but it was the start of a treasured friendship Y/N held dear to her.
“Hi!” a cheerful voice sounded, causing Y/N to look up from her textbook. Her eyes met the warm brown ones of a petite girl bushy haired girl sporting a Gryffindor tie and robes. The Slytherin girl gazed at her confused, looking around  the library in case she was addressing someone else other than her. By the warm smile the first-year gave her, Y/N realized she was in fact talking to her.
“Uh hi?” she said with a questionable tone, brows furrowed. The girl stuck her hand out which made Y/N slightly flinch by how fast the movement was.
“I’m Hermione Granger,” she introduced. Y/N hesitantly extended her own hand, clasping it with the girl's small one and shook it lightly.
“Y/N Weasley.”
“I know,” Hermione smiled, “Ron told me about you. Well he did not tell me much except your name and that you were in Slytherin. He also mentioned you were really good with potions and Snape likes you.” Y/N could not help but slightly chuckle at the last sentence.
“I wouldn’t say Snape ‘likes’ me, but he certainly tolerates me more than my siblings. You’ve probably already seen that the twins are pranksters, they tend to cause him immense distress.” This made Hermione laugh and Y/N felt her lips curl up. She then noticed the girl holding several textbooks, one of which was a first-year potions book, “Is there anything I can help you with Hermione?”
“I just wanted to get to know you,” the girl said warmly, which made Y/N slightly shocked. “Ron and the twins did not speak much about you and when they did they made it seem like you were horrible just because you were sorted into Slytherin. I know that a house does not define who a person really is, so I wanted to talk to you myself and it appears you are not a mean or evil person that your house makes people think you are.” Y/N could not believe what she was hearing and she could not detect any hint of a lie in the girl's words.
“Wow,” She breathed, “Sorry, I’m just a little taken back. It’s been a while since I’ve really heard anyone say that. Only my older siblings, minus Percy, my parents, my sister, and a few people who I happen to be friends with think the same way you do. Ron and the twins just really ignore me.”
“But aren’t you and the twins actually triplets?” The question caused Y/N to frown and look down at her book.
“Yeah,” she muttered softly, “We are. Many people forget that we are because we never act like it, but it’s okay, I’m used to the two leaving me out. It happened before we were sorted into our houses so it does not bother me much anymore. I’ve learned to live with it.” Hermione frowned at that, feeling sad for the older Weasley.
“That’s not right. You guys are siblings, family. They should not treat you like that.”
“Hey, don’t worry about it. One day they will realize how they act wrong, until then I can only be patient.” Hermione nodded though she still possessed a frown  and Y/N pushed away the many books laid on the table, gesturing for the girl to take a seat. “Here, sit down. You said you want to get to know me, so let's just talk while we do our homework and you can see how I really am compared to what Ron tells you. I’ll even help you with potions if you need.” Hermione beamed, placing her books on the table and sitting down across from the redhead. The two talked for hours until it was time for curfew, getting to know one another and Y/N offering help when Hermione had a question on a certain subject and Y/N felt it was the start of a blossoming friendship.
The years continued, and Y/N only had few friends, hardly ever seeing her siblings due to them all being sorted into Gryffindor leaving her alone. Her friendship with Hermione grew and she even looked at the girl as a sister, the Gryffindor looking at her the same way. Y/N and Angelina remained close even after being sorted in different houses. Despite having few friends, she could not wait to graduate and finally go off on her own, already planning to continue her work in potions and become a potioneer after spending countless summers devoted to perfecting different elixirs. Several events happened during her time at Hogwarts, including her sister Ginny unlocking the Chamber of Secrets and the tragedy of the TriWizard Tournament.
When the Order of the Phoenix was back in business to stop Voldemort following the death of her dear friend Cedric, Y/n immediately joined despite objections from her parents. The death of her friend caused immense grief. She became depressed in the following months, hardly sleeping due to nightmares of his corpse and she rarely ate, resulting in her facial features becoming more hollow. It was not until she joined the Order that she was back to her normal self and that was because of her determination to bring justice to Cedric’s death. The Order faced great loss. The deaths of Sirius, Dumbledore, Moody and with her brother George losing his ear proved how real the war was and the fight to make the world a safer place.
Now it was the second of May, and the fight of everyone’s life was in place. Death Eaters swarmed every inch of Hogwarts, attacking students whether they were armed or not. Y/N ran down the corridors, deflecting spells and sending jinxes back and forth. Her adrenaline was soaring, not knowing where exactly she was headed, but the only thing she knew was to survive and protect the students around her. Y/n never thought she would ever cast the killing curse in her life, but when a second-year Hufflepuff was about to be killed, the spell left her mouth before she could stop herself. The Death Eater fell back unmoving, Y/n took the hand of the small boy she saved and hurried him to the nearest dormitory or classroom.
“Here, go!” she ushered him into the room, “Stay here and do not leave! Hide somewhere and be alert, you understand?” The boy nodded furishouly, his small body shaking and clutching his wand tightly in his hand. The redhead raced out of the room, closing the door shut before darting down the hallway. A flash of familiar hair caught her eye and her feet carried her to the source. “Ginny!” She shouted upon seeing her sister. The younger Weasley halted her movement at the sound, turning around only to collide in the older one’s embrace. “Oh my God,” Y/n breathed, “Are you okay? Why are you out here? I thought you were to stay in the Room of Requirement until this was over?”
“Harry needed me to leave,” she told her sister, the two moving to a corner where they were slightly hidden from the battle, “He needed to search the room for a possible horcrux. Once he went in, I left and came here. I couldn’t just let my friends and family fight with the chances of them getting killed and just sit and wait!” Y/n sighed, bringing a hand to wipe the sweat on her face which resulted in more dirt being rubbed.
“While I don’t like you being involved, I understand where you’re coming from.” She pauses to rub her nose bridge, placing her hands on Ginny’s shoulders to look at her sternly, “Mum and dad might kill me for letting you fight, but there’s really no time to negotiate and stop you. At least find Neville or someone who can stay close to you and keep you covered, okay?” Ginny nodded, embracing her sister once more in a tight hug.
“Stay safe, sis.”
“I will,” Y/n told her, “You stay safe too, I’ll see you soon.” The two pulled away and Y/n bolted away down the hall while Ginny rushed to Tonks after seeing her battle a Death Eater and rushing to her aid. Y/n turned the corner, something in her stomach dropping and her intuition telling her something bad was about to happen. She heard the sound of a duel taking place and followed it. Familiar voices echoed in her ears and her pace picked up. The redhead rounded the corridor, jets of light flashing in her eyes and she spotted Fred and Percy battling Death Eaters while Harry, Ron, and Hermione helped while dodging incoming jinxes.
“Hello, Minister!” Percy bellowed, sending a jinx at the man, “Did I mention I’m resigning?”
“You’re joking, Perce!” Fred shouted and looked at his brother. Y/n watched the two and in the corner of eyes she could see a Death Eater with their wand raised. Her brothers could not see the man, and she noticed he was pointing at the wall directly behind them. Before she could think, Y/n sprinted as fast as her feet carried her, eyes widening when the flash of light emitted from the want of the assailant. At that moment, nothing mattered other than making sure her brothers were safe. All the years of being ignored and looked down upon by them due to being sorted in Slytherin seemed to vanish, and Y/n felt water line her eyes as she got closer.
“You actually are joking, Perce… I don’t think I’ve heard you joke since you were--.”
“Fred! Percy!” Her scream ignited and the two snapped their heads toward her just in time for the redhead to push them both out of the way at the exact moment the air exploded around them. The two brothers along with the Golden Trio were flown back from the impact, all landing onto the stone ground with a groan. Pain erupted to several areas of their bodies which would surely bruise. Dust covered them, their vision blurred from how much was in the air.
Fred pulled his body up, groaning from the pain in his side and coughing from how much dust filled his throat. He scanned the area and saw how the wall he was in front of was blasted apart with stone and wood now covering every inch of the ground with a large pile in the middle. It took two seconds for the ginger to realize what had happened, the last thing he saw was his sister running at him before he was flown back. He immediately got up and rushed to the pile of debris, staggering over the stones while shouting his sister's name.
“Y/n!!” He screamed, moving at a fast pace. “Y/n, can you hear me!” The boy began throwing the many pieces of stone and wood away from the pile, searching for any sign of movement and listening for sound. Percy and the trio joined in, the group shouting Y/n name and digging through the debris. “C’mon Y/n I need you to tell me where you are!” Fred grew more and more worried, feeling his heart sink by the second. It was not until he heard a pained groan and rushed to the source. He spotted a hand peeking through the rubble and Fred shouted for the others saying he found her. They all rushed to him, removing the stone covering Y/n's body, allowing Fred to pull her out of the wreckage when they were able to get her upper half revealed. She let out a scream, pain erupting all through her and Fred tried his best to get her out as gently as he could.
“I got you, sis.” He said with a shaky voice, “I got you.” With one quick but harsh tug, Y/n was removed from the rubble and was laid onto the floor. Everyone surrounded her, becoming frozen by how much blood covered her body. Cuts and gashes painted her skin, her clothing ripped and chunks of stone were embedded into the many wounds. Her breath wavered, gasping for air and they all felt their heart race at the sight. Hermione, with shaky hands, pressed a palm on to a deep cut in Y/n’s neck. The Weasley girl hissed, blood filling her mouth and dripping down her lips.
“You’re going to be okay, Y/n,” Hermoine’s voice cracked, trying not to look at the many wounds which the girl could tell will be fatal if not treated immediately. Ron could see a large gash right above his sister’s temple and gently laid his hand on top of it, while biting his lip to stop a sob from escaping. He knew it was bad, and his sister was dying in front of him. They needed a healer, but the Great Hall was several corridors away and Ron feared she would not make it in time. Percy began calling for help, applying pressure onto her stomach which had been cut open when a large piece of wood had impaled her. Harry stayed on his feet with his wand ready for any threats while also keeping his eye on Y/n, his heart dropping at the sight of her battered body.
“I can’t--,” Y/n gasped with a tired breath as Fred held her hand, “I can’t feel my legs.” She could hear them gasp, Fred’s hand becoming tense in her hold.
“We need to get her to Madam Pomfrey!” Fred shouted and went to pick her up, the others keeping their hands on her wounds to hold the bleeding but when they tried Y/n erupted in wails from the pain filling her by the slightest movement. It was like a volcano, fire filling her blood. The thick liquid poured out of her wounds, her skin becoming pale. Hermione’s hands were painted red, as were Ron and Percy’s. The sound of her screams were so loud it echoed through the nearby hallway and caused tears to stream down Hermione’s face.
“Stop!” she shouted, “Fred stop! It’s too late, she won’t make it!”
“You don’t know that!” He yelled back trying to get his sister into his arms, his clothes now coated in red. Y/n began to shake from the pain, becoming numb by the intensity and Fred started to panic.
“Fred, she’s losing too much blood,” Hermione cried, “She’ll bleed out before we can even get her to the Great Hall.”
“Are you serious, Hermione?!” Fred shouted in disbelief over the chaos around them, “Do you even hear yourself?! She’s your friend and you’re gonna let her die!? ”
“Fred stop,” Y/n's hoarse voice whispered. The ginger boy looked down at his sister, her upper body being held up in his arms while the others continued to put pressure on her wounds but blood continued to seep through their fingers.
“What--?”
“She’s r-right,” Y/n interrupted, “I-I won’t make it. The pain is too much--I-I can’t move and I'm losing too much blood.” She was shaking, fighting against what was pulling her to the other side to have a few precious moments with her family. “You need to get out of here, go find mum and dad.” Fred could not believe what he was hearing, neither Ron nor Percy. All three boys felt their eyes water and Fred tightened his hold on her. Percy grabbed her other hand, and Ron kept his on her head, covering her wound while tears flooded his face.
“Y/n,” Fred stuttered her name, “We can get you to a healer. Madam Pomfrey will help and she will heal you, you’ll be fine.” The words were more to convince himself. He watched as her lips curled up, tired and broken eyes looking into his.
“Fred,” she sighed, “You and I both know that I am not going to make it.” A sob escaped his throat.
“No! You’re not dying! You’re going to be okay!” He cried, dropping his head so his cheek rested on her hair. “You’re going to get out of here. You’re going to go home and learn how to walk again and become a potioneer like you’ve always dreamed of. You’ll get married and have kids…” He trailed off when sobs overtook him and he began to cry into her hair. Fred never believed he would ever have to watch his sister die in his arms. He had never felt more pain in his life than in that moment watching her gasp for air as her life started to fade away. What made it even more painful was knowing she saved him in the process, “I was supposed to die, not you! Not you!”
Fred started to think back to all the times he and George would ignore Y/n, never including her in pranks or just ordinary things. The moment she was sorted into Slytherin they acted like they were not even related at times and Fred felt more tears fall knowing he could never make up for it. He won’t ever get the chance to show her how sorry he was.
“Y/N go get your brothers and tell them supper is ready.”
“Yes mum.” Y/N raced up the many flights of stairs in the burrow in search of her twin brothers. When she got to the room, she knocked gently and waited for a reply but did not hear one so she pushed it open to see the two boys sitting on the ground in between their beds with several items in front of them.
“Hey, hey!” Fred shouted in surprise and George started to gather their many inventions away from her sight. “You can’t just come in here without saying anything!” Y/N frowned at him.
“I knocked,” she told him, “neither of you responded.”
“Whatever,” he rolled his eyes, “Still does not mean you can just walk in our room unannounced. We are doing something very exclusive and can’t risk you snitching it to mum or dad or your pal Snape.” Y/n’s eyes narrowed at her brother.
“Snape is not my ‘pal.’ He just stands me more than you lot because you are always causing him trouble.” George mumbled something under his breath, but the girl could not hear it. “And besides, I haven’t told anyone about your previous antics so why would I do so now?”
“Oh please,” Fred said in an annoyed tone, “we know you told Filch that we were the ones who put fireworks in his office second-year.” Y/N’s jaw dropped at the accusation, her cheeks becoming inflamed as anger rose.
“I did no such thing!” she shouted, “whoever told you that was a lie! I never ratted you out to Filch and why would he believe me? He thinks I’m just as bad as you two because I’m a Weasley.”
“Sometimes I don’t understand how you are one?”
“Excuse me?” she said appalled, “What in the bloody hell do you mean by that?” The twins just looked at her with blank expressions while she felt her eyes begin to water.
“Well first,” Fred started, “the most obvious is that you are the only one of us who got sorted into Slytherin. A house you know is full of pure-blooded pricks and bullies who hate everyone but themselves. You don’t like quidditch like the rest of us and prefer to be by yourself working on potions. Snape likes you, but hates the rest of us and you just have always been the outkast in the family. Who knows, you may even become a Death Eater like the rest of your housemates. Maybe you already are one and just haven’t said anything, wouldn’t be surprised you never tell anyone in this house what you are up to.” Y/n stayed silent when Fred finished, she felt a small tear fall down her cheek but neither of her brothers looked like they were unapologetic. She bit her lip giving a small nod and wiped away the drop.
“Mum wants you to know that supper is ready.” Turning on her heel, Y/n paced out of the room with the door slamming shut behind her. She shoved past Percy who simply glared at her for her attitude and bumping into him, obviously not knowing what the twins had said to her to cause such emotion. The redhead burst into her room, collapsing onto her bed and pushing her face into her pillow as cries erupted from her, being muffled by the pillow. She felt her heart break, her brother's words replaying in her head causing torment like a radio playing a horrible song over and over again.
“I’m sorry, Y/n,” he wept into her hair, “I’m sorry I treated you so badly. For everything. Ignoring you, pranking you in ways that had humiliated you and made you cry. Accusing you of snitching on us when you never did.” He held her close to his body, breaking inside each time she made a sound of agony. “I’m sorry for what I said to you during fourth year. I’m such a horrible brother,” he sobbed, “Please sis, don’t go. Don’t leave us.”
“It’s okay, Fred,” she hushed him, stroking his arm with the hand Percy wasn’t holding. The two other Weasley boys were sobbing next to her. They two often treated her unfairly and were now going to live in tremendous guilt and despair, begging God to not take her. “It’s okay,” she said again, this time quieter.
“Y-Y/N,” Percy stuttered, but she simply hushed him.
Her voice grew weaker, and the group knew it was only moments before she would be gone forever. “It’s gonna be okay. I love--,” it was getting harder to speak, but she was fighting. “I love you all.”
“We love you too. We always will,” Ron said and Hermione started to cry harder, leaning onto Ron for support. Harry no longer looked around for Death Eaters, his own face drenched in tears at the sight in front of him. He felt anguish in him, seeing another friend die at the hands of those who wanted him dead.
“You think I’ll see Cedric up there?” She questioned, eyelids falling shut and the image of her best friend filled her mind. Happy at the thought of possibly seeing him again. Fred let out a small cry before she felt him nod.
“Y-yeah,” he croaked, “He’ll be waiting for you. You’ll be together again just like before.”
“Freddie?”
“Yeah, sis?”
“Take care of George,” she managed to breathe out, “Tell him I love him.”
“I will,” He sniffed, feeling her take one last breath.
“Promise me you will live.” The air left her body one last time, the pain no longer present and Y/n felt at peace, unable to hear Fred’s last words to her.
“I promise. I love you, sis.” But Y/N did not respond, causing him to gently shake her.  Her lack of reaction caused Fred to collapse into a heap of cries when her body finally went limp in his arms. “Y-y/n?”
Percy felt her hand become unmoved and he too, cried in heartbreak. Ron held onto Hermione, turning his body away so he did not see his now dead sister in his brother’s arms. His heart was heavy with agony and he could not help console Hermione for he was in the same state. Harry dropped his head, sadness all within him at the loss of someone he looked at as family. He would never forgive himself, and he wished nothing more for Y/n to be brought back.
“Y/n,” Fred tried again, but to no avail. “W-wake up. Please w-wake u-up.”
The Golden Trio had to force themselves to leave, to continue their search before more people died. Harry and Hermoine having to drag poor Ron away from his siblings. None wanted to go, but time was limited and it took all their strength to get up and leave Percy and Fred with Y/n’s body. Promising Ron they’d get her to their family once it was safe to do so.
The two Weasley brothers lost track of time. They stayed put, mourning the loss of their sister until the battle ceased and they were drained of tears. It soon became quiet in the castle, Death Eaters had retreated upon Voldermorts order and bodies laid all through the halls.
“We should take her to the Great Hall,” Percy spoke with a dry voice, hoarse from all the cries. “Take her to mum and dad.” Fred was still, looking in front of him at the dusted hallway full of debris from the explosion that killed his sister. She was still held close in his arms, eyes closed and the blood stopped flowing but coated every inch of her skin along with Fred’s clothes. It took all his might to look down, eyes landing on her face. She looked peaceful, her lips slightly curled as though she had died smiling and that gave Fred some sort of comfort despite her damaged body.
That she left the world at peace.
“You think she’ll watch over us? Even though we treated her like shit?” His voice cracked. The older Weasley gazed down at his little sister, a small yet heartbroken smile on his lips and he cleared his throat. His hand came over her forehead to move some of her red hair, flinching at how cold her skin was.
“Yeah,” he said, “I think she will.” Fred carefully stood, cradleling Y/n in his arms. Percy rose beside him, grabbing their discarded wands and leading them out of the hallway, careful to avoid the debris around them. They reached the Great Hall, hearing the sound of others. Many were painful groans, others were cries of despair. The two emerged in the doorway, paying no mind to those around them and instead continued to walk forward until they saw their parents, Ginny and older brothers Bill and Charlie. Ginny was the first to see them, and rushed to them relieved they were okay and searched for her sister, but when her eyes landed on what was in Fred’s arms she halted. She could see the flaming red hair similar to hers and the blood stained clothing on the unmoving body. Her mouth went agape, hand flying to cover it as her eyes filled with water threatening to escape.
“Please tell me it’s not--.” But Percy simply shook his head, looking at his baby sister with sorrow and Ginny let out a small scream, falling to the ground but was caught by Bill. He stared at the Y/n’s lifeless body, his heart breaking into pieces and he tried desperately to console Ginny, but found it hard to battle his own grief emerging. Molly and Arthur ran upon hearing their daughter’s scream and froze when they saw their son.
“Fred,” Arthur said in a hesitant voice. His son looked at him with tear filled eyes, lips quivering and for Fred, he could feel his body start to shake.
“I-I-I,” he could not find the words, “S-she saved us. She saved us…..” His knees nearly gave out and his brothers Percy and Charlie helped him lower their deceased sister onto the ground. After gently placing the fallen Weasley onto the stone floor, Fred once more collapsed over her body as his grief overpowered him once more. Molly fell back into her husband’s arms, wailing in agony, he too had trouble holding her up as his body racked with sobs. Ginny was still on the floor, being cradled by Bill while Charlie and Percy stood over Fred, rubbing his back with tears of their own falling.
Onlookers watched with solemn expressions. The sight was gut wrenching but unfortunately resembled many throughout the Great Hall as friends mourned friends and teachers draped blankets over their deceased students.
“No! Not my girl!” Molly screamed, “Please not m-my girl.” She fell to her knees, crawling over to the opposite side of her daughter's body and caressed her cold cheek. Blood was all over her precious face, adorned with cuts and gashes, the most horrific on her head and neck. Molly did not even want to look down at Y/n’s body, for she was afraid of what else had happened to cause her daughter such a horrific death. Arthur could see the gaping wound in Y/n’s torso, his stomach lurching at the sight and he had to turn away as he felt nauseous.
George burst through the entrance of the Great Hall. He had separated from his family and Fred at some point during the battle which resulted in his anxiety to soar at not knowing where they were. He heard the wounded were being treated in the Great Hall along with the bodies of those who perished being moved until further notice, so the ginger bolted to the location as fast as he could. His eyes scanned every inch of the large dining hall, and soon he could see a group of people with the same colored hair as him, instantly relieved.
George walked with a rushed pace, slowing with confusion when he heard the wretched cries of his parents and siblings. They were all huddled, blocking his view of the ground. He immediately looked for Fred, becoming relaxed when he saw his brother alive. But George’s stomach dropped at the broken look painted on his twin’s face.
“F-Fred,” he stuttered out as he approached him, “what’s wron----.” Something behind Fred’s shoulder caught his eye, George’s gaze falling to the still figure on the ground. That’s when he realized the fact Fred was kneeling on the ground, hovered over the figure, and his mother was sobbing into their neck.
His twin lifted his head, turning to meet George’s eyes, which revealed the horrific reality waiting for him. There, lying on the stretcher covered in a dark red--almost black--substance and nearly unrecongnizable, was his sister Y/n. Unmoving. Dead.
All the air left George’s body, face consorting to match his family as he took in sight. The clothes she wore were tattered. Dirt and grime painted the visible parts of her skin not coated in her blood. Gashes upon gashes. A nasty intrusion on her temple and torso. George felt the bile form in his throat and before he could stop it the redhead was hunched over, spilling the contents of his stomach onto the floor. Arthur instantly went to him, rubbing his back. Once it appeared George had got it all out, Arthur produced a handkerchief from his pocket, wiping his son's mouth as he had seemed to freeze.
“Y-Y/n,” he dropped to his knees. Crawling to Fred and their mother. His twin slightly moved aside to give space. George instantly reached for her hand, devastated when the cold touch hit his skin. “No.” Tears dropped from his eyes, George looking to his family for them to say it was all a nightmare. “N-no. No!”
“George,” Molly whispered, reaching over to comfort him.
He shook his head, not wanting to believe the truth. “What happened?!” Fred winced, returning to a heap of sobs.
“She saved us,” Percy whispered, making George look up. “There was an explosion. A-and she pushed us out of the way. A wall came crashing down,” the older Weasley boy flinched, head dropping as he relieved the most horrifying moment of his life. “It crushed her.”
Molly wheeped into her daughter's chest. Picturing the scene. Unable to save her baby girl who she had spent so long wishing for.
For the twins, it was like a piece of them was now missing. Creating a hole deep in their hearts. They all came into the world together. Y/n first, then Fred, lastly George. How were they supposed to go forward without the third piece of their puzzle?
This question only surfaced the ocean-sized guilt swimming in their veins. Like Fred had done in the precious moments he held their dying sister, George was replaying all the times he had tormented Y/n. The constant pranking. Humiliating her in front of her friends and schoolmates. Getting her in trouble with their antics when she took the fall. Accusing her of snitching on them.
George crumbled, clutching onto Y/n’s hand as he lowered his head to her torso. Praying to whoever above to take care of her in the afterlife and begging her spirit to forgive him. Wishing he could turn back time to tell her how much he loved her. He wanted his sister back.
A cold breeze brushed his ear, almost like a whisper. George thought he felt a hand on his shoulder, but when he turned the closest person to him was Percy, and he was at least five steps away.
Whatever it was Fred had felt it two. The redheads glancing to one another, anguish filling their gaze. For they had their suspicions of what--or who--was responsible for the touch.
Turning back to Y/n’s body, Fred and George pictured what life was in store for them without their sister. Reality sunk in. No longer a bright light, but instead dimly lit.
For what was once three became two.

Fred Weasley NSFW alphabet
Kinktober 2023
I am so late to Kinktober. I kept procrastinating and getting side tracked. I am in the process of finishing a George Weasley NSFW alphabet but my laptop has decided that it doesn’t want to turn back on, so for anyone interested it might be a little backlogged.
Tumblr media
TW: Fred is a dirty devil and I won't hide it, mean-dom Fred, brief somnophilia? (no touching but sexual activity next to a sleeping person), allusions to a piss kink, oral (giving and receiving, there’s O for you), overstimulation, mentions of praise and degrading, a smidge of jealous Fred,
A = Aftercare (What they’re like after sex)
Although Fred can sometimes be a meanie (in a teasing way), he will always hold you after sex. He’ll get everything you ask for and stroke your hair until you fall asleep. Even at times when he's too tired to even move, he’ll cater to you first.
B = Body Part (Their favourite body part of theirs and also their partners)
He couldn't possibly decide what he likes more: your pretty pussy that sucks him in so perfectly or those gorgeous tits that bounce when he goes harder. If he had to pick, he’d probably go with neither and choose your lips. Not because of how kissabe they are but because of how perfect they look wrapped around his cock.
On himself, he likes his forearms (bare with me on this). He likes how his veins look when he’s gripping something, whether it's his old club from his time as a beater in Hogwarts or your hips. He also knows how good he looks when he rolls his shirt up to his elbows. He knows he looks good because of how turned on you get from it.
C = Cum (Anything to do with cum, basically)
Where do I start? This man loves to either cum in you or on you. He adores cumming inside you and pushing it back inside when it leaks out, but he also loves it when it stains your tits. Another thing he loves is seeing it drip down your chin after you’ve sucked him off. He teases you and calls you his messy little whore.
D = Dirty Secret (Pretty self-explanatory, a dirty secret of theirs)
He has a dirty fantasy about fucking you at The Burrow during a family get together. Just the thought of you trying to keep quiet while he rearranges your insides. He can imagine how worried you'd be about waking everyone else while he buries himself so deep inside of you.
E = Experience (How experienced are they? Do they know what they’re doing?)
Oh, he knows what he's doing and he knows he does it well. He won’t even try to hide how much action he got at Hogwarts (after he reached 16). But when he met you, you were everything he needed and more. The only one for him. He now uses all his experience to make you see stars.
F = Favourite Position (This goes without saying)
Fred (being the kinky guy that he is) absolutely loves any position that lets him know that he's the one in charge. If he’s in a tender mood, he will absolutely do missionary and keep his head close to yours as he presses soft kisses to your face.
G = Goofy (Are they more serious in the moment? Are they humourous? etc.)
Surprisingly, sex is one of the only times when this jokester is serious. He won't be deadly serious, but he's too focused on the moment to crack any jokes or make you giggle. Why would he make you giggle when he could make you scream? ;)
H = Hair (How well-groomed are they? Does the carpet match the drapes? etc.)
He has never really been the grooming sort. His hair is a mop of ginger, the carpet will match. He does groom and trim it occasionally but he’ll never go out of his way to be completely shaven. If you like no hair for him, he won’t exactly rush to shave it all. He likes to have the final word about his down-there hair, the same way he believes you should with yours. If you have hair or you don’t, he won't care since it's your decision.
I = Intimacy (How are they during the moment? The romantic aspect.)
It depends entirely on his day. If he's had a good day at work, he can be very romantic and loving in the moment. He will take care of you and hold you and he goes slow and steady. If his day has been stressful, you are going to have a face full of mattress and your insides rearranged.
J = Jack off (Masturbation Headcanon)
This man can't keep his hands off of himself. He would masturbate at least 2 times a day. He's not addicted to it, he just uses the excuse of it being a great stress reliever. He won’t stop once you enter his life and his bed. In fact, having you around makes it 10 times better. He loves to jerk off before you get home, he loves the thought of being caught by you. He really loves to jerk off next to you while you sleep, holding back his moans and grunts as he watches your face. Such an innocent look, not for long ;)
K = Kink (One or more of their kinks)
How much time have you got?
Bondage, Daddy kink, Public stuff (touching, teasing, sex, anything at all), Sex toys, Power play/ Dom & Sub (dom Fred is here to stay), Roleplay (is it a kink? No. Am I adding it? yes) Voyeurism, Threesome (just because George joins, doesnt make it incest), Spanking, Innocent kink (pair that with the Daddy kink and you wont be walking straight for a week), edging, orgasm denial.
L = Location (Favourite places to do the do)
Since he loves public sex so much, he won't hesitate to pull you into small alleyways that lead out of Diagon Alley. He won't even hesitate to slip inside of you if you are serving a customer (if you happen to work at the shop). He does like having his way with you in bed or in the shower but he finds public places the most exciting.
M = Motivation (What turns them on, gets them going)
You. anything you do or anything you wear has him popping a boner. Before you, he had some flings that would get him hard. He always assures you that out of all of his past girlfriends, you make him harder than they did and quicker than they could (isn't he a sweetheart?)
N = No (Something they wouldn’t do, turn offs)
Bodily fluids (he won't mind giving you the odd golden shower if it's something that you’re into), sharing: he won't mind sharing you with George but anyone else is a no-no, I feel like he’d also be against being a sub (if you can convince him enough, then he’ll give in)
O = Oral (preference in giving or receiving, skill, etc.)
He loves either, because he can control both. If you have his cock in your mouth, he will have an iron grip on your hair. He will move your head for you and train you to be his pretty little cock warmer. If you’re crying and gagging because you can't take it, he knows just what to say to keep himself nestled deep in your throat.
If he’s between your legs with his mouth on your clit, he will be controlling every little thing. Every little twitch of your walls, every little hip movement, it's all because of him and that dirty mouth of his. He will control everything about your orgasm too. You’re close and need to cum? Well you better hope that Fred is in a good mood or else you’ll be edged into next week.
P = Pace (Are they fast and rough? Slow and sensual? etc.)
It depends on his day and his mood. If he’s missed you all day, then he’ll do something romantic for you before taking you to the bedroom. He’ll be slow and gentle and give you so many kisses and tell you just how much he loves you while he’s holding you tight against his body.
If his day was stressful and the customers were assholes, then he needs your pretty little cunt as a stress reliever. He won’t even get undressed, he just bends you over the nearest surface and fucks you like a man gone mad. And if this happens, then any clothing covering your cunt is being ripped off, no hesitation. But he’ll always buy you new clothes to say sorry.
Q = Quickie (Their opinions on quickies, how often, etc.)
He loves a quickie, just the same as he loves a fuck-athon (a fuck marathon). Sometimes this man just can't wait to get you home before ravishing you. Cue a quickie in an alleyway. Quickies only really happen before work. He just needs you so much before a long shift.
R = Risk (Are they game to experiment? Do they take risks? etc.)
Risky as hell. He’ll fuck you at The Burrow at family functions. Bill and Fleur's wedding? He was fucking your brains out back at the house (fucking like rabbits is all too fitting at The Burrow). I’ll say it again, he loves public sex. He's a risky bitch and a frisky bitch. He is happy to experiment with anything you want to try. New sex position? Done. New toys? Already brought. You being in charge? Keep asking and maybe.
S = Stamina (How many rounds can they go for? How long do they last?)
He is like a rabbit. He can last all night and all morning and still have the energy for work. If you can't last as long, he will sometimes keep going because he loves to hear you whimper and sob from being too sensitive. If he knows that you can't handle it, then he’ll put his stamina on hold and tend to you, he can carry on with his hand while you sleep.
T = Toys (Do they own toys? Do they use them? On a partner or themselves?)
He’s got a whole chest full of toys. He even goes out of his way to buy new sex toys from muggle shops. He doesn't use them on himself that much, maybe the odd fleshlight or cock ring, he mainly buys them for you. He takes ‘the more, the merrier’ to a new level. He’ll have you stuffed full of toys because he loves seeing just how much you can take.
U = Unfair (How much they like to tease)
The king of tease. He’s very dominant and loves reminding you of the simple fact that you can't cum without his permission. And for that very reason, he’ll tease you and edge you until you admit it. Sometimes, he’ll tease you in the morning and leave you wet and needy until he finishes work. He even comes upstairs to the flat to check on you (or so he tells you, its to make sure you haven't touched yourself without permission)
V = Volume (How loud they are, what sounds they make, etc.)
He’s not loud, but he does moan and groan. How can he not? Your tight pussy just feels so heavily wrapped around his cock. The only thing you really hear from him are either praises of how pretty you look and how you’re such a good girl or teasing, degrading remarks such as what a little slut you are and how you’re his perfect fuck toy.
W = Wild Card (A random headcanon for the character)
Everytime he catches you and George together (after they agreed to share you), he can't help but get a little jealous. Sure he loves seeing you getting dicked down, but he does worry that you’ll prefer his (identical twin) to him. That's why he loves hearing you say that you’re his, because he sort of thrives from that small remark. It's not only an ego boost and makes him rock solid, but it also eases those red flags in his mind.
X = X-ray (Let’s see what’s going on under those clothes)
He’s got a bit of thickness but he’s longer than he is thick. When he’s hard, he is about 7-8 inches. He’s not very veiny, and he has a few freckles on his shaft. He does have a small mole at the base of his cock but it only becomes visible if he completely shaves his pubic hair.
Y = Yearning (How high is their sex drive?)
How high? Through the roof. This horny devil needs to either fuck or masturbate at least once a day (but he’ll insist that it still isnt enough). If he needs you, he will have you. Sometimes, he’s like a dog in heat (except this lasts 24/7, 365 days a year)
Z = Zzz (How quickly they fall asleep afterward)
Although he comes across as a bit of a meanie, he will always carry you into the bathroom and get you cleaned up. He makes you a nice hot cup of tea and cuddles you in bed until you fall asleep. Only after you’ve fallen asleep, will he then sleep. You come first in everything, even sleeping first.

"I'LL SPEND HER LOVE" - MODERN! FRED WEASLEY x f! reader
SUMMARY AND TW: when you and fred are alone in his and george's room, you suddenly find out your best friend has always been in love with you. TW: none!! also yes i put one direction.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
You groaned loudly as Fred's calloused hand wrapped around your bare arm, pulling you up, hair brushing your cheek as you lazily stood up.
"What?" You rubbed your eyes tiredly, as your head was just rested on the table after all of the commotion of staying with the Weasleys during the summer. Those people certainly knew how to make you feel like your mind was on the verge of burning out, but of course you still held love for them.
Fred grinned at you mischievously, his face a little too close to yours. "No one's upstairs."
"And?" Your eyes narrowed slightly, not knowing what to make of your best friend of years. He always managed to surprise you after all of this time.
"Wanna show you something, unless you're scared of mum?" His head turning to where his mom, Molly, was sewing yet another Weasley sweater even though it was summer , tried to look at you "discreetly".
"I am not scared of Molly!" You huffed, playfully annoyed at his accusation.
He turned away from you, his long legs starting to move up on the stairs. "Well, c'mon, then." His eyes burned into yours, then he turned his back. Although, you couldn't see it, he had a smirk on his face when he heard your steps.
Your breath hitched as you followed him, looking down at yourself. You were going to your best friend's room, which he technically shared with his twin who you are also friends with, alone, while everyone else is downstairs. You shouldn't be this nervous, right? You could barely stop the feeling in your lower stomach, as you saw he almost was as tall as the doorframe. What if someone came up? You should've just stayed there. But you followed him anyway, because he wouldn't let you stay there and you were too curious to ask.
You silently followed him in the room, curiously looking even though you have seen it a million times before (with other people, usually George).
"So, what did you want to show me, Fred?" You nervously murmured from the intimacy of the situation, your hands clasped together behind your back. His eyes softened at what you were doing. How could you be shy infront of him? He even raised one of his eyebrows, almost laughing at your actions, his legs dangling over the bed. He notioned for you to come sit next to him.
You slowly walked over, sitting down on the bed gently, as though it was fragile glass that could break at any moment, with the wrong word, glance, heart.
"Do you truly wish to know what I'm going to show you?" He murmured quietly, a teasing tone to his words.
"I solemnly swear." You grinned at him, feeling a little more eased now.
He simply looked at you, not letting go, maybe he would forget your face if he stopped, but you doubt he would. "I can show you my heart, but all I would do is show you. Do you know how many years I have pined after you? Remember when I tried to grow out my hair when you said you liked it like that? It's you, it always have been." His words grew quieter as he spoke, afraid of a rejection, that would sting him like fatal venom. His hands reached toward yours slowly, and you allowed it. His fingers brushed against your hands tenderly, as if they were made of gold instead of cotton, as if the world was crumbling on its feet and he was the only thing left standing between you and destruction. "And you will never have to wonder about whether or not my feelings for you were returned," His voice finally broke, the tears brimming his eyes. "My feelings for you were genuine from the start." He finished, taking one of your hands and holding it firmly in his, his thumb rubbing soothing circles against your knuckles.
You stared at him, at a loss for words as your heart swelled so big you feared it might burst from your chest. Tears filled your own eyes now, as you took his other hand in yours and held it tightly as well. "How long have you loved me?" You whispered quietly, not really wanting the answer. Not yet, anyway. You still had hope that this wasn't just some dream, that you were both just pretending to be asleep. That this didn't all end in tragedy.
He chuckled, his breath brushing your lips softly as he responded, "Since we were eleven, actually."
"1st year? Even when I was a scrawny, annoying little kid?" You teased gently, a smile tugging at your lips.
"Even then," Fred admitted, giving a tiny laugh, which you reciprocated, leaning forward to kiss him lightly on the lips, as if to prove your point. After your initial shock, the kiss became more passionate, his hand moving to cradle the back of your neck.
He pulled away first, panting heavily. Your cheeks glowed pink, but your expression remained serious, as you were ready for your answer, no matter what kind it may turn out to be. He looked at you adoringly, and you thought about your decision. You were ready, you told yourself. You just wanted an answer.

Taming the Dragon Tamer
Charlie returns to the Burrow for a short vacation only to find a new family has moved in just across the field from the Burrow.
Tumblr media
Words: 5.9K Author's Note: Don't pay attention to movie release dates. Just go with the flow.
When Charlie was instructed to take some time off of work, he was annoyed but also a little grateful. He absolutely loved his job on the Dragon Reserve, but as of late he'd been missing his family a little more than usual. The higher-ups noticed his lack of energy and told him to take a break so as to not let his guard down and risk getting hurt while on the job.
The portkey he applied for has the destination set for the field just behind his childhood home, and when he lands with a grunt, he's left staring at a cluster of homes rather than the Burrow.
Brow furrowing, Charlie glances around to make sure he's actually in the right place. And when he turns around, he lets loose a little exhale of relief at the fact that he'd just been turned around. Then hiking the strap of his knapsack a little higher on his right shoulder, Charlie sets off towards the Burrow.
There's smoke billowing from the chimney and he can see his mother bustling about the kitchen through the window. He allows himself to smile, knocking on the back door before letting himself in. And when he sets sight on his mother, he chuckles at her gaping expression before her eyes sparkle and her liveliness immediately returns.
"Charlie!"
"Hi, mum."
"What are you doing home?" She rushes to him, arms wrapping tightly around him before stepping back, keeping her hands on his arms to look him up and down. "Did something happen? Are you hurt?" Her happiness morphs into concern and he leans down to press a kiss to her forehead.
"M'fine, mum. Was just missing home."
Molly freezes, shocked to hear that her free-spirited son misses home. Her eyes get a little teary, but she's quick to put a lid on her emotions. "We've missed you too. Now come, come. Come sit and I'll make you a plate. You're looking a little thin."
Charlie laughs off her comment, dropping his knapsack atop the end of the table and taking a seat towards the middle. He sighs as he settles in, watching his mother load up a plate of roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy. "Did you get some new neighbors across the field?"
"Oh, yes! All the way from America, they are. Big and lovely and I can't wait for you to meet them." She takes the plate by hand, levitating a basket of rolls behind her. As she sets it down, she turns around to grab a pitcher of pumpkin juice and an extra glass. "We're actually having dinner outside tomorrow with them. Will you still be around?"
"Of course. I took two weeks off from work."
"Wonderful!"
Charlie sags in his seat as he digs into his food, watching his mum as she works around the kitchen. She even walks behind him, running her fingers through his newly cut hair and tugging on the strands that still have a bit of length to them. Thankfully, she doesn't say a word about it.
During his meal, his dad and Percy get home from the Ministry.
Out of all his siblings, Percy and his wife Penelope are the only ones who reside in the Burrow with Molly and Arthur. Everyone else has moved out with their significant other and/or with each other as in the twins' case. But his mum must have alerted everyone else because soon enough, Bill and Fleur are coming in with their daughter, followed by Fred and George. Ginny and Harry show up, and then Ron and Hermione appear last.
Charlie fills them in about the going on's of the Dragon Reserve and how he recently got to handle a few baby dragons. He admits to feeling drained which is why he's on vacation and when he can't think of much else to say, he asks about the neighbors.
Surprisingly, every Weasley loves them.
The parents had moved into the muggle world after the father had retired, but decided to up and move when two of their children, plus their wives and grandchildren, decided to move here for better job opportunities. Everyone else just followed because they really were a close knit family.
"It's why there's a cluster of homes rather than one large one," Fred says.
"The parents have their own home and the four eldest, who are all married off with children of their own, have their own place as well," George then adds in.
"And then there's YN, the only single one of the bunch, who has her own place too because she likes her privacy," Ginny muses. "I quite like her home most of all."
"Why?"
"Because she transformed one of the rooms into a meadow and has a branch of bowtruckles living with her. They're really quite adorable," Hermione tells him.
"Aren't they meant to be wild?"
"They are, but the ones she rescued have apparently formed a connection with her and refuse to leave."
Charlie chuckles and mentions he can't wait to meet the whole lot.
Tumblr media
Flooing into your home, you moan and groan all the way to your bathroom as you peel off your clothes piece by piece. You're so used to working in the middle of a battlefield, that now you're working inside a hospital you made the mistake of dropping your guard. And in dropping your guard, you made yourself vulnerable to a pureblood who discovered muggle narcotics and decided to go on a bender.
Being knocked upside the head with a metal food tray was not fun, nor was waking up minutes later only to be told you'd been knocked unconscious and were going to be left with a bruised face. Afterwards you'd managed to finish out your work day, counting your lucky stars that you had the next two days off.
You shower off the day's grime, forgoing any glamours, and dress in jean capris with a gray tank top beneath an opened flannel. Then before you put on shoes, you walk towards the third bedroom which you had transformed into a meadow of sorts. Checking on your branch of bowtruckles, you giggle as you spot them coming out from their favored places around the room upon your entrance.
Stepping down into the room, your footfalls are quieted by the soft moss covering the floor. Then walking up to the main tree, you hold out your hand out for the bowtruckle that holds out his spindly arms towards you.
"Hiya, sweetheart." The bowtruckle steps onto your hand and you readily raise him towards your shoulder. "Did you miss me?" You smile at the featherlight touches to the bruised side of your face, heart melting at the chirping he emits in worry. "I'm fine. It's okay. Just a little work mishap." You give him a moment to sate his curiosity and then gently scoop him back up to settle him back among his tree. Only he clutches to your fingers and refuses to let go. You sigh. "Fine. You can come," you mumble, "but you need to behave. We're going to the Weasley's."
As you settle the bowtruckle on your shoulder, you bid the others goodbye before heading out front. Putting on some shoes, you head outside and squint against the setting sun. Then summoning your broom, you lazily fly over towards the Burrow where you see your family and the Weasley family all settled around an enlarged table where dinner is spread out.
You laugh as you hear some cheers upon them spotting you and then touch ground, placing your broom against a tree before heading towards the table ladened with food.
"Merlin," one of your brother guffaws, "what happened to your face?"
"A patient of mine discovered muggle narcotics," you tell him. You quickly hug your mom and dad from behind, ruffling the hair of your many nieces and nephews who are too busy eating to pay you any attention. "He went on a bit of a bender and mistook his lunch tray for a beater's bat and my face for a bludger." Several family members and Weasley's wince in sympathy. Then walking over to Mrs. Weasley, you hug her from behind as well as she pats your arms and looks up worriedly at you. "I'm fine. I just didn't want to waste the energy holding up a glamor. The bruises will fade."
"We have some bruise paste lying around here somewhere," Fred says.
"We can send some over when we find it later. Should make the bruising fade by morning," George tells you as well.
"Really? I'd appreciate it." As you take a seat at the only empty seat, your smile falters at the unfamiliar redhead. "You're new."
His lips twitch in amusement. "Charlie Weasley."
Eyes lighting up in recognition, you sit up a little straighter in your seat. "Ah yes. I've heard loads about you."
"All good I hope."
"If you count the fact that your siblings like to say you fondle dragons good, then sure."
"YN!" Bill snorts out pumpkin juice at your mom's shrill shout. "That's not nice."
Mostly everyone, Charlie included, laughs. "What? He didn't take offense to it."
Your mom shakes your head at you and you wink at Charlie before grabbing a plate and loading it up with food. Everyone jumps back into the conversations they'd been having and you settle in, letting the atmosphere wash over you.
"So who's this?" You hear from your left just as you're taking a drink of water. Glancing at Charlie, you grin when you see him eying your shoulder.
"This," you muse, raising a hand to your shoulder, "is Benny the Bowtruckle." The bowtruckle steps onto your hand and you bring him out from your hair. "He was my first rescue and he's proven to be a bit protective and clingy."
"Watch it, Charlie," Fred calls out. "The little bugger bites!"
You glance at Fred, shaking your head as you grin. "Well if you didn't continuously poke at him, he wouldn't have resorted to such measures."
Charlie chuckles and holds his hand out, palm up, and you practically hold your breath as you watch Benny cautiously walk over to him. "Nice to meet you, Benny."
Benny seems to perk up at his name, immediately chirping away and waving his spindly arms to and fro. You watch in awe as Charlie holds a conversation with the bowtruckle as if he understands the chirps and coos, and then narrow your eyes at your family as you hear a mumbled, "She's done for. She's gonna bed the dragon tamer."
You don't know who's said it, but your family and the Weasley's closest to them have all heard it, and everyone's looking between you and Charlie now.
Shaking your head at them, you then continue eating before asking Charlie, "So why dragons?"
"Why a doctor?" He looks up at you, setting Benny on the table so he can explore. You arch an eyebrow at him and he shrugs. "I just really love dragons. They're magnificent beasts."
"They really are, but they're very intimidating as well. I'm not trying to get blasted by fire or stepped on."
"You like dragons? What's your favorite?"
"I'm quite partial to the Antipodean Opaleye because of its pearly scales and multi-colored eyes," you tell him. "Or the Swedish Short-Snout because of its blueish-silver scales and blue flame."
Charlie slowly smiles. "You know your dragons."
"I know a bit about my favorite dragons," you correct him. "I have nowhere near the amount of knowledge you no doubt possess."
Charlie continues to smile and then, "Oh no. The dragon tamer's gonna defile our baby sister."
The words are said loud enough that both you and Charlie hear, even Harry if his sudden choking on his food is anything to go by, and you whip your head in the direction of your brother whose eyes suddenly widen. "You wanna say that again?"
"No. Nope." Your brother shakes his head. "You got that glint in your eye like you're gonna maim me."
"Blimey," Ron drawls. "What is it with the youngest girl siblings? They're so mean."
"What?" Ginny turns in her seat, narrowing her eyes. "You wanna say that again, WonWon?" This time, Hermione chokes on her drink, and you cackle at both Hermione's giggling and Ron's reddening ears.
As the siblings squabble, you reach for Benny to place him back on his shoulder when the table gets jostled a little too hard. Molly shouts at the twins and Ginny, and you sit back, eating even more food.
"So why a doctor?" Charlie asks.
"Because Mungos was the only place that I could put my skills to use," you tell him. At his arched eyebrow, you explain. "In America, the MACUSA has a program called First Aide Responder. I'm trained for both combat and medical, so I would rush out into the field when an auror went down and it was too risky to portkey them to a hospital."
"You'd give first aid mid-battle?"
"Yep." You smile and pop a piece of chicken into your mouth. Chewing and swallowing, you tell him, "I had these stones that I would set out around me and my patient that acted as a shield. But if someone tried attacking the shield, that's where my combat skills came into play and I'd duel whoever was attacking before getting back to my patient. But then moving here, the Ministry doesn't have that so I applied at St. Mungos."
Harry, who'd been listening, says, "That's actually quite brilliant- settling the injured before moving them without knowing where they're injured or how severely they're injured. I'm gonna have to talk to the Minister to see if we can apply something like that here."
Everyone picks back up on their own conversations and you continue eating until you can't anymore. And when you feel like the waistband of your capris are digging uncomfortably into your stomach, you exhale roughly and lean back in your seat.
"Don't tell me you're full," your dad says. "There's peach cobbler."
Immediately you pick your fork back up. "Where?"
You're not even embarrassed at the many snorts that sound around the table as you watch Molly serve you a plate of the fruity dessert. You anxiously wiggle in your seat as it's passed down the table and happily dig into it even though you're near to bursting.
"Take note, Weasley's, Granger and Potter. If you ever want YN to do something or forgive you for something, peach cobbler is her weakness."
"I won't do it right now because Mrs. Weasley has not yet gotten accustomed to our brash demeanors with each other, but I'm mentally flipping you all off," you tell your family.
As time slips by, the children start nodding off at the table. Bill and Fleur decide to call it a night and take their daughter home, as do your brothers, their wives and their children. You, your mom and your sisters help Mrs. Weasley clean up, and then Fred's rushing upstairs to find that bruise paste he and George had told you about.
Then when it's time to finally go home, you bid the Weasley's and their significant others goodbye before grabbing your broom and hitching it on your shoulder opposite the one Benny is sitting on as you walk across the field back to your home.
Tumblr media
The following morning, you wake up at the telltale sounds of a thump hitting your door. You know it's the magical and muggle newspapers being delivered as you lay there trying to get back to sleep, but you find that you can't. So with a low groan, you get up to start your coffee and then lazily wash up.
Looking in the mirror as you brush your teeth and wash your face, you marvel that the bruise paste did exactly as the twins told you it would do. There is no bruising to see and you're grateful you don't have to see the discoloration anymore.
Then fixing up a cup of coffee just the way you like it in a to-go cup, you pop a lid on it and head outside. You see that the sun is barely on the rise, so you quickly grab your broom and carefully take to the sky with your coffee still in hand.
Lazily flying in circles, you hover mid-air above the field between your house and the Weasley's to sip on your coffee while the sun rises. You close your eyes against the sun, basking in the warmth and just enjoying the peace of it all.
You're mid-sip when you hear the whoosh of a broom and look around for the culprit. Surprisingly, it's the newest Weasley that you met just last night. So smiling softly, you nod in greeting just as he hovers near you. "Hey. What brings you up here so early?"
"Was gonna go for a run when I saw you hanging out up here. Just wanted to check that everything was alright."
"Oh yeah. It's perfect," you tell him. Then gesturing towards the hills in the distance, you say, "Was just enjoying the view."
Charlie looks out, huffing. "If you think that's amazing, you should see the view at the Dragon Reserve. It's really something."
"Yeah? Well unless I have a friend who's going to invite me out there sometime, I don't think I'll ever be able to see it."
"Fair enough." Charlie laughs. "But it won't be for a while. I'm on vacation."
You exaggerate your accent, making yourself sound like a southern belle as you drawl, "However will I cope?" Charlie barks out a laugh and you smile, sipping your coffee. "So what are your plans for vacation, Weasley?"
He shrugs as he circles you on his broom. "Not much. Just hang out with my family when they're not working." You hum. "And you? You got to get to work any time soon?"
You shake your head. "Nope. I'm off today and tomorrow."
"Any plans?"
"Actually, yeah. There's a movie I've been dying to see at the cinema. It's the third movie in the franchise, so they're going to be playing parts one and two beforehand. You interested if you're not doing anything today?"
Charlie comes to a stop in front of you, grimacing. "I've never been to a cinema. Is it- what do I-"
"It's real simple," you assure him. "You just dress the part of a muggle- shirt, jeans, and boots are perfectly fine- and I'll take care of the rest."
"Are you sure?"
"Positive. But are you sure you want to go? You might not even be interested in the movie I'm going to see."
"Well what movie are you going to see?" He asks, grinning.
"It's a movie about dinosaurs." Charlie sits a little taller on his broom and you grin. You knew that'd catch his attention. "Part one is all about some rich guy who hires scientists to replicate dinosaur DNA and makes a theme park of a variety of dinosaurs. Spoilers, it doesn't go well for the humans."
Charlie snorts. "Anyone could see that coming."
"Then part two is about more scientists studying the dinosaurs and trying to bring them back to the States."
"Because that's so smart. Stupid muggles."
You grin. "And then part three is supposed to be a boy and his stepfather vacationing too close to the islands where the dinosaurs reside and then they go missing. The muggles end up returning to the island to search for them."
Charlie shakes his head, but he's still grinning. "Those movies actually sound interesting. Should I bring anything?"
"Just bring your handsome self, Weasley." He playfully rolls his eyes, but you mentally pat yourself on the back as you see him faintly blush. "I can handle the muggle money, and after we choose our seats, I'll introduce you to muggle drinks and sweets. Just make sure you're ready by four in the afternoon and tell your mom you'll be gone till around ten."
"Okay. I can do that." He turns his broom in the opposite direction to head back home. "I guess I'll see you later."
. . . .
You and Charlie had shown up early to the cinema just so you could secure the best seats in the theater (middle of the very back row). He had admitted to wandering into the muggle world, but only to bars or clubs with his friends, so his awe at the snack bar and the giant screen in front of many cushioned seats amuses you.
You're grateful for the little tables and drink holders each seat comes with- you having got yourself and Charlie a large Cola and a medium-sized bucket of popcorn each that fits perfectly on there. You also got a variety of sweet and sour snacks that you lay in your laps, and you're so ready for the movies to start so you can see his reactions.
As the lights dim and the previews start to roll, you grin as you watch a wide-eyed Charlie get sucked in.
At one point, before the movie even starts, he leans over to tell you, "It's so loud."
"I know. Just imagine when the dinosaurs roar." You chuckle as his eyes seem to sparkle in the dark and then sit back to get comfortable.
Charlie is immediately entranced by the movie, even the beginning part where most people complain that it's boring. And then the vehicles get stuck by the t-rex enclosure, and the telltale thumps of the dinosaur's footsteps reverberate around the theater. Charlie looks at you, wide-eyed yet again, and you snort. The first roar of the dinosaur never fails to give you chills and you smirk when you see Charlie rubbing at his arms to stave off his own.
You and Charlie pace yourselves with the popcorn and drink, and you let yourself be sucked back into the movie until the credits roll.
"That.. was amazing," he breathes in awe once the lights come back up.
"And there's still two more movies to go." Charlie's smile makes your heart skip a beat and you have to shake yourself to not think about how attractive your neighbor's son is. "Um, do you want to go grab another Cola and popcorn? We can also stretch our legs and use the bathroom before the next one starts."
"Yeah. Good plan."
The second movie isn't really one of your favorites, so you watch Charlie more than you do the screen. He seems to enjoy it just as much as the first and it makes you happy that it was you who introduced him to muggle movies.
It's dark out by the time the third movie starts, and both you and Charlie are excited to see the return of Doctor Grant since he was missing from the second. What appears to be a Spinosaurus is the main dinosaur of the movie and you're surprised to see just how vicious they made it in the film. The pack of Velociraptors excites you to the point that Charlie chuckles at your side, and by the end of the movie the two of you are excitedly chatting about your favorite parts as you leave the theater.
Nighttime proves to be a popular time for everyone to visit the cinema, and the second time someone shoulders into you with a mindless apology thrown over their shoulder, Charlie tucks you under his arm to keep you close and push aside anyone who gets too close.
Outside in the fresh air, you look up at your companion and melt at the content expression on his face. "Wanna grab a bite to eat before we head home?"
"Fish and chips?"
"You're so British," you laugh, "but yeah. I can go for some fish and chips."
Tumblr media
Your second day off is spent lounging around your house, spending some time with your family before you have to go back to work.
Then afterwards, you and Charlie find yourself in a routine where you find the time to wander off into muggle London and find something new to do.
At the combined family dinners, you and Charlie take to sitting next to one another, chatting and laughing. Both your families take notice of the time you're spending together and his family, especially Molly, seem most excited about it. But someone must have said something because their knowing and teasing looks disappeared overnight one day.
Then Charlie's two weeks comes to an end, and you find that his impending departure is actually making you sad.
"Don't look so sad," Charlie muses. "It's not like you're not going to see me for weeks at a time. I'm actually going to come home when I'm able to."
"Stop laughing at me." You walk into your living room, two cups of tea in hand before you pass one off to him. You settle down into the corner of your sofa, curling your legs beneath you. "It'd just be my luck that, after finding someone I actually enjoy hanging out with, our days off won't line up."
"Aw you enjoy hanging out with me?"
You narrow your eyes at him as you sip your tea, causing Charlie to chuckle. "It's nice not third wheeling my siblings or your siblings. Or even being designated babysitter when we're out and about."
Charlie sips his tea, smiling. "Am I going to be getting owls from you?"
"Duh. You're gonna grow sick of me, Weasley. Just watch."
"Impossible."
The evening turns darker and darker, and all too soon it's time for Charlie to leave to get in his last goodbye with his family. You vanish both your cups to the kitchen, standing at the same time he does. You and Charlie take one look at each other, him with a neutral expression whereas yours is a little weary, and burst out laughing.
"You're being a dick. Stop laughing at my sadness." But your words only make him laugh more.
Grabbing your hand, Charlie pulls you into a hug. He tucks you right under his chin, arms around your shoulders while yours wrap around his waist. You exhale softly, melting into him. "Don't be sad. I'll owl and floo call you to the point you're annoyed by me."
"Impossible," you mumble.
The two of you hug a little longer than necessary, but then you're both pulling away at the same time. Charlie's looking down at you, an expression on his face that makes it look like he's going to say something, but he shakes himself clear of it. "I'll see you around, YN."
"Mhm. See you around, Charlie."
Tumblr media
The first combined family dinner, it's obvious to everyone there that your friendship with Charlie is something you're sorely missing. Your brothers and the Weasley twins do everything to lift your spirits, but they only manage to do it for a brief time before you're sinking back into your loneliness.
You're the first to leave, citing tiredness and that you need to be well rested for work. No one says a thing, so you walk home with a bowl of peach cobbler for later.
You take your time in the shower, dressing in your most comfortable sleep clothes afterwards. Then heading into your kitchen to eat the peach cobbler, you're surprised to find an owl sitting on your table and a small package attached to its leg. Immediately your mood lifts, hope filling you.
"Hey buddy, long flight?" You ask the bird. He or she hoots in confirmation and you quickly untie your mail from its leg. Setting it aside, you're quick to grab a small bowl of water and some owl treats from a container on your counter. "If you're coming from where I'm hoping you're coming from, please get comfortable. I'll have my reply ready and send it off with you in the morning."
The owl hoots once more before taking flight, making itself comfortable atop your kitchen cabinets.
Grabbing the small package and letter the owl had carried, you take it to your room to open. Sitting in the middle of your bed, you open the letter first. And checking the signature at the bottom, your heart soars when you see it's from Charlie.
His letter to you is a bit on the short side, but its contents make your heart pound. He hopes that you're okay and that work is fine, but he also expresses how much he misses your companionship and your outings. In the short two weeks he'd been home, he grew accustomed to you being there and he doesn't quite know what to do with himself in Romania anymore. Even his coworkers and friends have noticed his mind is elsewhere, so now a bunch of dragon tamers know that Charlie met a girl- a girl who's actually held his attention. He expresses his anxiousness for the day he can portkey back home and the day he does, he's taking you on a date. His name is signed at the bottom and then the sidenote exclaims he hopes you like his gift.
Carefully setting the letter aside after reading it twice more, you open the small box. Inside, laying atop some tissue paper, is a braided leather triple wrap bracelet. There's a charm, of sorts, dangling from it and when you look closer you realize it's a blueish-silver dragon scale from a Swedish Short-Snout that's been cut into a rounded triangle- almost like a muggle guitar pick.
Giggling like a schoolgirl, you clip the bracelet onto your right wrist before admiring it for a moment. Heart filled with nothing but adoration for this man, you scramble out of bed and towards your desk so you can pen your own reply.
Charlie Weasley!
You did not just ask me out via owl. I'm pretty sure Molly raised you better than that.
But either way, just know that I'd say yes. Especially after this beautiful bracelet you've given me. I love it. Thank you so much!
And in case your family hasn't owled you, I miss you too. I really got used to you being there after work or on my days off, so I may or may not have been moping. And our families might have picked up on it. Sorry, in advance, for whatever your family might say or ask to figure out what's going on here.
Work is fine, by the way. I've not had any mishaps like that first night we met. And if I'm being honest, I'm actually finding that I kind of like the hospital atmosphere as much as I loved working out in the field.
Miss you and I'll see you soon. Hopefully.
You sign your name and then fold the parchment, placing it in an envelope that you seal with wax. Then taking it out front to the owl, you set the envelope next to the bird. "Please take that back to Charlie when you're ready to go." The owl hoots in response and you smile, tossing a few more owl treats atop your cabinet for it.
You go to sleep feeling more giddy than you have since Charlie left, and over the next few days if the two families notice you're not as mopy as you have been, they're wise to keep their mouths shut.
Another week passes and just as your mood is drifting into sad territory again, Charlie comes home.
You're eating dinner at your own house, having made a trip into muggle London in search of some decent Chinese food. And with a mouthful of noodles, you're startled when there's a series of knocks on your front door.
Quickly washing the noodles down, you clean off your hands and head for your door. Opening it up, you freeze upon the sight of your favorite Weasley. At your quiet gasp, his eyes dart up to meet your shocked expression. He slowly smiles and you're knocked out of your stupor before you throw yourself at him.
"Charlie!"
He laughs as he catches you, hoisting you up so you can wrap your legs around his waist. His hands grasp the back of your thighs as your arms go around his head, practically smothering him against your chest. "Miss me?"
"Yes!" As you pull back, your hands settle as the back of his head so your fingers grasp his hair at the nape of his neck. You smile down at Charlie, trying not to squirm in his hold seeing as there's a very obvious tension between the two of you. You have an overwhelming urge to lean down and kiss him, but glancing towards the Burrow shows several people standing at the kitchen door and staring out the kitchen window. "Um, should we move this inside? I'm pretty sure your mom and sister and the twins are hoping for some sort of show."
Charlie turns so he can see what you're seeing and he huffs as he sees his nosy family still watching. You let your legs drop from his waist, falling the rest of the way so your feet touch the floor. Then pulling him inside, Charlie shuts the door behind him.
"Having dinner without me?" He asks as he follows you into the kitchen.
"Well if I knew beforehand that you'd be here, I'd have gotten extra," you tell him. You watch as he grabs an egg roll and you're quick to slap the back of his hand. "Hands off the fried goods, Weasley!"
But your swat does nothing to deter him and Charlie happily eats half of the eggroll in one bite. He smirks at your grumbling and then finishes off the eggroll with a chuckle. "Do you work tomorrow? I believe I promised you a date as soon as I got in."
"I am off tomorrow," you tell him, slowly angling your body towards him as you look up, "but can we just go get more food and come back here? I'm looking forward to that date you promised, but I want to be able to enjoy it and not start yawning halfway through. Today was a long day."
"Sure thing. Is the Chinese place terribly far?"
"Nope. Let me just slip on some shoes and we'll go." You step away from Charlie, exhaling roughly and realizing you hadn't been breathing normally while standing so close to him.
The wizard had just gotten home and already the anticipation was building between the two of you.
. . . .
Later on, after you've eaten your fill of Chinese food and got to catch up in person, you're walking Charlie to the front door so he can head back home. But before he opens the door, he turns towards you and pulls you into a gentle hug.
You melt into his embrace, yawning against his chest. "Thanks for agreeing to stay in. I promise you can plan a date for tomorrow and I'll happily agree to it."
"Well if you call this date, I can probably do that thing I've been meaning to do since we first started hanging out."
"Yeah? And what's that?"
"This." You let Charlie angle your face upward, molding your lips to his ease. You giggle into his mouth, heart pounding the longer Charlie Weasley kisses you.
When you pull back, mouth centimeters from his, you grin. "Glad to know we're on the same page." You peck his lips once more before falling back onto the balls of your feet. "Now get going, Weasley, before I pull you into my room and give our families something to talk about."
Charlie laughs and untangles himself from you. "They're going to find out sooner or later."
"Well let it be later," you tell him. "Let us figure out what this is between us and see if we mesh as well as we hope we do before getting anyone excited."
"It's not going to be easy sneaking behind all their backs."
"No." You slowly smirk up at him. "But it will be fun."

Fred Weasley x Reader - At Last
For the amazing @beeroses who requested this story for my 3.6k drabble challenge!
I hope you all enjoy this! 💛
Prompt - You kissed me last night / And you didn't stop me
“Just talk to him, Y/n/n,” Angelina urged as she pulled Y/n up the staircase towards the Gryffindor Common Room.
“And say what, Angelina?” Y/n snapped back, trying and failing to fight against her friend's grip.
“Y/n/n, you’ve liked Fred for as long as I’ve known you, and last night he kissed you, don’t you think that means something?” Angelina insisted, but her words only made Y/n sigh.
Y/n had had a crush on Fred Weasley since their first year at Hogwarts…and that’s why she was terrified to talk to him about last night.
Gryffindor had won a Quidditch match against Slytherin; which meant that they were celebrating in typical Gryffindor style, with a party.
And it was during the late hours of the party when most people were beginning to leave and go back to their dorm room, that Fred kissed Y/n.
They’d both been drinking; that’s what gave Y/n the confidence to kiss him back like she did, with absolutely no hesitation.
But that’s also why she was scared; because all she could think about was that it was simply just a drunken kiss.
A mistake.
That’s why she didn’t want to talk to him.
“Fred, just the guy we were looking for,” Angelina beamed, letting go of Y/n's arm, watching as the ginger twins walked up the staircase.
“Am I just invisible?” George questioned, with a confused look on his face.
“Talk to him,” Angelina whispered in Y/n's ear before grabbing George’s arm,  pulling him away, despite his protests.
“Y/n/n-” Fred began, but he didn’t get a chance to finish his sentence before Y/n's voice interrupted him.
“You kissed me last night,” she stated, a shaky breath leaving her lips as her y/e/c eyes met his.
“I did,” Fred answered softly, walking up a few steps so that he was closer to Y/n, “And you didn’t stop me.”
“Was it…was it a mistake?” Y/n stuttered out, trying to ignore how her heartbeat quickened when she realized just how close they were to one another.
Her question caught him off guard.
“A mistake?” He questioned, his eyes narrowing in confusion as hers moved to the ground.
“We’d been drinking…”
“Love, the only thing that was a mistake, was that I waited so long to do it,” Fred admitted , raising his hand to her face, his index finger tilting her head up, so that their eyes met once again.
“But don’t worry,” he whispered, brushing his thumb over her bottom lip, as he wrapped his other hand around her waist, “I won’t be making that mistake again.”
The last word of his sentence had barely left his lips before his eyes fluttered shut and he pressed his lips against hers, softly.
Closing the distance between them completely.
And just like the night before; Y/n didn’t hesitate in kissing him back.

The Yule Ball
Prompt number: 13 "Come with me, hurry."
Fandom: Harry Potter
Pairing: Ron Weasley x reader
Rating: E(veryone)
Word count: 2k
Warnings: Teenagers being stupid and clueless. Pining.
A/N: No one's gonna read this, but oh well. I've loved it and been to afraid to put it out for years, so now I'm finally just doing it.
Tumblr media
You roll your eyes at Ron and Harry complaining that they don’t have dates for the Yule Ball yet, they should be concentrating on the exam that you’re all supposed to be doing. However, you do giggle quietly as Fred asks Angelina to the ball by throwing a piece of paper at her and miming dancing horribly.
“Well what about you (Y/N/N)?” Ron looks to his left, you're sitting between him and Harry. “You wanna go with me?”
Your heart picks up speed for a second, the boy you’ve been hopelessly in love with since you were kids is finally noticing you as more than a friend. But the euphoria you feel is short-lived, realizing that you're just a last resort to him, that you’ll never live up to Fleur. Plus you already have a date, one that’ll be tons of fun.
“I, um, I actually have a date already,” if Ron could tear his wide eyes off your face he would see the mischievous glint in George’s eyes, accompanied by an all knowing smirk.
“What? Who?” Ron’s voice echoes through the quiet hall, Snape comes up behind him and smacks his head with a book.
You ignore the question, quickly glancing at the still smirking George, before finishing off your exam. You rush from your seat to hand in your booklet to Snape, as you grab your bag and books you hear Ron asking Hermione to the ball. Your heart plummets into your gut, Ron doesn’t really want to go with you, he just wants a date on his arm.
You can feel the quick glances of pity from all of your friends; Harry, Hermione, Fred, and George. All of them know about your big ol’ crush on the youngest Weasley boy. You high tail it out of the Great Hall just as Hermione starts telling him off and admitting she has a date. Her and Viktor are actually quite cute together.
You forgo heading to the library or any other place you typically meet your friends- Hermione will surely head straight to those spots and try to get you to talk about your feelings. Instead you head up the many flights of stairs to the Astronomy tower. The fresh air cools your flushed face, and you take a deep breath willing yourself to shake it off. You lean against one of the railings and stare at the black lake as it ripples from the wind. You close your eyes and think back to when you got asked to the ball mere days ago.
McGonagall is teaching you how to dance for the ball, boys on one side and girls on the other. You can practically hear Fred and George snicker as you repeatedly glance at their younger brother as the professor lectures the group on etiquette. Ron makes a joke and McGonagall calls him to dance with her, this time you do hear the twins snicker and you join them.
Once everyone joins in, Ron partners off  with a random girl and you're left standing there alone. You and Ron always pair up for everything, you have since you were in diapers. George quickly swoops in and starts dramatically waltzing you around the room.
“Mr. Weasley!” McGonagall calls, grabbing everyone’s attention and placing it on you two. “Miss. (Y/L/N) is a young lady, not a rag doll, treat her as such.”
You hide your face in George’s chest, partly from embarrassment from all of the eyes, and partly to hide your giggles.
“Of course, Professor,” George stands taller and he gracefully leads you through the steps. “I wouldn’t want to hurt dear (Y/N) here. Who else would help me prank Ron?”
You refuse to meet George’s eyes after the two of you see the girl in Ron’s arms giggling at something that he’s said. Usually you're the only one to giggle and laugh at Ron’s jokes, the only one affected by his ‘charm’. George elegantally spins you out and then back into his arms, trying to get you to cheer up and get your mind off of Ron.
“Ow!” Ron’s partner cries.
Smirking, George leans in and whispers in your ear, “Ickle Ronniekins can’t keep his eyes off of you. Even stepped on his partner’s foot ‘cause he can’t look away.”
“He’s not looking at me George,” you push the older boy away so he can watch you roll your eyes at him.
“He stares at you constantly, (Y/N/N),” George frowns at your obliviousness. “He’s been in love with you since he met you, you two always understood each other on a different level than the rest of us.”
“If Ron liked me he would have asked me to the ball already, and he wouldn’t be drooling at Fleur’s feet,” your answer is short and snappy. “Can we just focus on dancing again?”
“Go with me,” it comes out more as a request than a question. “Freddie wants to take Angelina and I’m not going to get in the way of that. We can have fun and make Ronniekins jealous.”
“I don’t know about Ron getting jealous, but it would be fun,” you grin at the red head. “I’m sorry about the Angelina thing.”
“So you’ll be my date?” he ignores the second half of your statement, not wanting to dwell on his twin taking his crush to the ball.
“I guess,” you tease, your giant smile giving away your excitement.
“Wicked!” he cheers.
~~
“Who do you think is taking (Y/N)?” Ron asks George, not bothering to lower his voice, even though Padma is standing beside him. Ron had been openly staring at you since you admitted that you have a date, and he kept asking who, but you never answered because you agreed with George not to tell anyone.
“Ickle Ronniekins, you should have asked her sooner,” George teases with a smirk. Both your date’s and your crush’s jaws drop slightly as you make your way down the stairs.
Your hair is pulled back in an updo, you and Hermione did each other's hair and makeup this morning. You're in a flowy silver dress, giving you an angelic appearance. Your mother even sent her best jewelry to finish off the look.
“Whoa, (Y/N/N)?” Ron asks, eyes wide and jaw practically on the floor. Padma rolls her eyes at Ron, clearly regretting being his date already. “You look-whoa.”
“You look quite handsome yourself Ron,” you giggle lightly as you take in his old colorful dress robes. Most people would laugh at how ridiculous they look, but Ron can somehow pull the look off.
“You look smashing, Miss. (Y/L/N),” you giggle again as George grabs your hand and places a kiss on it.
“Oh thank you Mr. Weasley, you look,” you let your eyes drag over George in his black dress robes as you come up with a compliment. “Striking.”
“Shall we love?” George puts his arm out to lead you into the Great Hall that the teachers transformed into a beautiful ballroom for the night. You catch a quick peek at Ron as you slip your hand into the crook of his brother's arm, and the young boy looks livid. His face is almost as red as his hair, his jaw locked, and a glare that could level even George if the older Weasley saw it.
You can feel eyes watching your every move, but you elect to ignore it, instead focusing on George as he twirls you from song to song. No matter how disappointed you both may be that neither of you got to go with your crush, you don’t let it affect your spirits, instead both of you push those thoughts to the back of your minds and have fun as friends.
“I could use a drink,” you holler to George after two hours on the dance floor and he leads you to the table Ron and Harry are sitting at.
“Stay here,” he takes his coat off and drapes it on the seat you plop down in. “I’ll go get us some punch.”
“Why aren’t you guys out there dancing?” you turn to Ron and Harry, then glancing at the dance floor where Padma and Parvati are dancing with some boys from Beauxbatons.
“Cho is with Cedric,” Harry grumbles, while Ron just glares behind your back.
“One punch for you my lady,” George does a stupid bow as he hands you your glass.
“Why thank you kind sir,” your giggle is cut off by an irritated scoff coming from Ron.
“Is there something you’d like to say Ickle Ronniekins?” George goads him.
“What's wrong Ron?” you ask at the same time, reaching out to touch his shoulder.
“Bloody hell, you’re what's wrong,” Ron exclaims, and you're thankful the Twisted Sisters are too loud for anyone further than your table to have heard him.
“Don’t talk to her like that,” George defends you, but it only seems to make it worse.
“What did I do wrong, Ron?” you fiddle with the bracelet that your mum sent you.
“Come with me, hurry,” Ron pulls you out of the ballroom, up two flights of stairs, down a hallway, and into an alcove hidden by drapery.
“What has gotten into you?” you finally ask when you two are hidden from prying eyes and ears.
“How could you go with George?” he ignores your question, pacing back and forth in front of you.
“Because he asked me? Because he was the only one to ask me,” your voice cracks ever so slightly.
“I asked you,” you level your oldest friend with a glare.
“Out of desperation! You asked me as a last resort, Ron, not because you actually wanted to go with me! George at least asked me to go as friends,” angry tears are fighting to breach the surface. “You were too interested in trying to get Fleur to go with you to even consider asking me until you had no other choice.”
“I didn’t think you’d have a date,” he pitters off, not knowing how to save himself.
“Godrick Ron, can you even hear yourself? Do you think that low of me that no one would ask me?”
“But why George of all people?” he asks again, sounding like a broken record.
“Is that it? Am I not good enough for your brother in your eyes?” you laugh humorlessly. “All those years of friendship and you truly think so low of me…”
“He knows you’re off limits!” he says out loud, but by the look on his face he clearly meant to keep that thought on the inside.
“I’m not one of your chess pieces, Ron, I’m a person with feelings. You can’t just stake a claim on me-” he cuts off your rant.
“He knows I love you!” his words have so much conviction behind them that you're momentarily stunned.
“What?” your moth is gaping open like a fish.
“I love you,” he says again like it isn’t the most heavy and meaningful thing he could possibly say. “I don’t ask you to the Ball sooner because I didn’t want you to reject me.”
“You love me?” you can’t seem to wrap your head around the fact that he feels the same.
“Bloody Hell (Y/N), how many times to I have to say it? I love y-” he’s cut off by your lips desperately colliding with his.
“I love you too,” you sigh, resting your forehead on Ron’s. “George only asked me to make you jealous.”
“I’m going to beat him with his bludger,” Ron steps back ready to go fight his brother.
“You can do that later, how about we go back to the Ball so I can dance with my boyfriend,” you lace your fingers with his and pull him back towards the Great Hall. Ron has a dopey smile on his face the whole way down, you called him your boyfriend.

like she’s a super competitive quidditch captain, and has slytherin friends, but she also shows the nervous ravenclaw first years around and has study groups with her hufflepuff friends and eats at the gryffindor table sometimes??
ok bye I just think it could be cute
Study Group
OH MY GOD YES- YES OH MY GOD YES

“Slytherin wins!” the announcer shouts over the sounds coming from the stands on the quidditch field. A mixture of "boo"'s and cheering were heard, a conflict seemingly starting out in the Gryffindor stands.
(Y/N), a chaser and Slytherins quidditch team captain, flew over to her seeker, holding up the arm that held the snitch and cheering with everyone. Patting the seeker’s shoulder, (Y/N) smiled and congratulated him.
The team flew back to the ground, heading to the showers before being intercepted by the crowd.
“You fly better than Angelina!” Fred shouted, his arm going over the captain’s shoulder.
“Don’t let her hear you saying that,” George warned, arm going around (Y/N)’s other shoulder.
The Weasleys were a family friend of the (L/N)’s so they'd grown up together like siblings. When they started at Hogwarts and (Y/N) was sorted into Slytherin instead of Gryffindor they were disappointed, but got over it pretty soon after. Well, it took Ron a bit longer, but he got there. To make up for it, (Y/N) would sit at the Gryffindor table at dinner sometimes.
(Y/N) rolled her eyes and ducked out of their hold, wiping the sweat from her brow.
“Thanks boys, we worked hard,” (Y/N) replied, patting George’s arm before going to walk away again.
She was startled when Ron was suddenly in her face, Harry and Hermione behind him.
“Bloody Hell, (Y/N)!” Ron shouted, grabbing her upper arms and shaking her around. “That catch, and the pass- and when you-!” He continued to stutter out incoherent praises.
“You did great out there,” Hermione congratulated for him as Harry tried to calm him down.
(Y/N) replied with a laugh, “Thanks Hermione. I’m really proud of my team, they really gave it their all. You should’ve seen how hard I’ve been working them, I’m surprised they don’t hate me.” She smiled jokingly at Hermione.
“No one could hate you,” Hermione responded seriously to the joke. (Y/N) seemed to soften at that, her exhaustion beginning to show.
“Thanks, ‘Mione.” She patted her shoulder.
(Y/N) would have hugged her but she didn’t want to get Hermione dirty.
“Mind helping me escape?” (Y/N) laughed, gesturing to the crowd surrounding them. Hermione laughed and nodded, grabbing (Y/N)’s hand and pulling her away.
When they got to the Quidditch showers, Hermione let go.
“Do you think we’re safe now?” (Y/N) whispered conspiratorially, a laugh lilting the end of her sentence. She tried to stop herself from reaching out for Hermione’s hand.
“I think we are,” Hermione laughed back. The Gryffindor herself was missing the warmth.
There’d always been tension between them. When they’d first met Hermione was intimidated by (Y/N), seeing as she was in the year above her, and also a Slytherin. Hermione never had much luck with Slytherins.
Not to mention she was gorgeous, and it’s terrifying talking to beautiful people. (Y/N) had always sensed Hermione’s discomfort and was always trying to make ‘Mione feel comfortable. They’d grown closer over these past 5 years, but the tension was different than before.
“Well, I’d better shower before dinner,” (Y/N) lazily pointed behind herself to the door.
“Want me to save you a spot at the Gryffindor table? You know Wood will want to talk to you about Ravenclaw’s defeat.” Hermione really wanted her to say yes. They hardly spent enough time together as it is, and even if she doesn’t have a chance with (Y/N) she still enjoys her company.
“For sure, Granger. Make sure it’s next to you, yeah?” (Y/N) winked with a mischievous smirk. (Y/N) would often playfully flirt with Hermione to see her reaction, heat spreading up her neck and around her face.
And that’s exactly the reaction she got, Hermione’s gaze shy as she looked to her feet. She nodded and bit her lip, watching (Y/N) walk through the doorway.
At Dinner…
All of the Gryffindor’s were shouting over each other, the twins practically on the table as they argued with Oliver, their own captain. They’d already talked about the game, Wood practically interrogating the game plans they used from (Y/N). Now he was red in the face, scoffing at the twins.
(Y/N) and Hermione were on the sidelines, having a conversation about her study group. Ron and Harry would pop in every once in a while, but were also having a conversation about what Draco was up to this week.
“Lila, she’s from Hufflepuff- a third year- was having some trouble with Care of Magical Creatures. Something about nifflers? I don’t know, that girl is so quiet I have to have Becca translate for me.” (Y/N) shook her head sympathetically.
“Poor thing,” Hermione agreed, putting down her cup after having a sip. “Maybe I could come to the next one? It could be nice to have another person to help.”
“Sure, we’re meeting tomorrow in the library after lunch. Have you got a free period then?” (Y/N) asked, taking a bite of the food in front of her. Hermione hummed in confirmation, not trusting her voice.
She was so excited. Maybe she could start going to all of their study groups! She smiled to herself as she continued eating.
The Next Day…
Lunch was ending and Hermione stood up excitedly, practically buzzing.
“Someone’s excited,” Harry teased in a sing-song voice.
“It’s because she’s off to see her girlfriend~!” Fred and George replied.
“Oh, ‘Mione’s got a girlfriend now? Looks like I’ve got competition,” (Y/N) announced her presence, smiling at Hermione. She blushed at the quip and smiled back.
“Ignore them, they’re idiots.” Hermione shot the boys a glare.
“Trust me, I know. Shall we?” (Y/N) held up her arm, beckoning Hermione to wrap her arm around hers. Once she did they were off, leaving the boys behind.
When they got out into the corridor (Y/N) didn’t pull away like Hermione expected. They made small talk, (Y/N) waving to her friends when they passed. Hermione slowly trailed off her sentence when (Y/N) stopped walking.
“What’s wrong?” Hermione asked, looking around herself to assure they weren’t at their destination yet.
“Look.” (Y/N) pointed at a Ravenclaw, seemingly a first year. He was crying, sitting against the wall and shielding his face as his body shook. (Y/N) unhooked her arm from Hermione's and walked up to him, crouching down to his level.
“Hey, what’s wrong?” (Y/N) asked gently, but still frightened the first year. He flinched, uncovering his face to look at (Y/N). He seemed confused after he saw the color of her robes. Why would a Slytherin be nice to him?
He sniffled, “My classroom changed places and I can’t find it. I just got its new location memorized and then it moves! I’m gonna be late for Transfiguration and lose house points again.” He groaned in frustration, hands covering his face. (Y/N) gently took his hands and held them, giving him a comforting smile.
“Professor McGonagall can be very forgiving, as long as you tell her what happened. I’m (Y/N) (L/N), what's your name?”
“Conner,” he muttered through his tears. “Conner Wimble.”
“Well, Conner, I’ll walk you to Transfiguration. And teach you some tricks to find your classes. Is that okay?”
“Yes… thank you.”
Hermione shook herself from her thoughts, seeing (Y/N) being so kind to the first year did nothing to stifle her feelings. She rushed forward to join the conversation, crouching down as well.
“I know a spell that makes a string appear in the air that guides you to your classes. I could teach it to you,” she spoke gently to the Ravenclaw, bringing him to stand.
“Please, I need all the help I can get,” he sniffled out.
“Come on, let’s stand up now.” (Y/N), who still held his hands, pulled him to stand.
At the Library…
(Y/N) held open the door for Hermione, entering after her. She waved to Madam Pince before gently cupping Hermione’s elbow, guiding her to the study group.
“Look who decided to show up,” Becca giggled, a yellow ribbon holding her dark brown hair back.
“Yeah, sorry guys- got a bit distracted.” Her hand found the small of Hermione’s back. “This is Hermione-!” (Y/N) whispered before she was cut off.
“Everybody knows who she is. Harry Potter’s friend, right?” Suzie, a fourth year Ravenclaw, asked rhetorically. Her tone was a bit harsh, distaste following Harry’s name.
“Yes, but she has a name. Hermione will be joining us today, if that’s alright with everyone?” (Y/N) eyed Suzie with a warning gaze. After she got head nods from around the table she pulled out Hermione’s chair for her. Hermione blushed and gave (Y/N) a shy smile in thanks, earning a nod in return.
“So, how is everybody? Lila, how was Care of Magical Creatures today?” (Y/N) paid specific attention to the Hufflepuff as she pulled out her books. Lila murmured something nobody could hear, except for her best friend who sat right next to her.
“She said the niffler problem’s still got her stumped,” Becca repeated, going back to doodling on the corner of her parchment with her quill.
“We would have heard her if she would only speak up,” Suzie sassed as she rolled her eyes, playing with the end of her blond ponytail.
“Suzie!” (Y/N) scolded, looking concerned more than angry. “Please apologize.” She adopted a motherly look, eyebrows raised expectantly.
Suzie looked slightly ashamed, gaze lowering as she uncrossed her arms. She played with the edge of her blue sweater, the silver eagle on the sleeve catching the light. “Sorry Lila, that was mean.”
“It’s okay. You have a point,” Lila spoke a bit louder this time, giving Suzie a small smile.
“What’s going on?” (Y/N) gently asked Suzie, running a hand up and down her arm. Hermione watched with a bit of envy, but shook herself out of it when she realized her thoughts.
Suzie’s lip started trembling, her eyes blinking quickly to rid herself of the gathering tears. “David and I got into a fight. He’s been using one of the secrets I trusted him with against me in our arguments. It’s been going on all day.” She sniffled, sliding a bit of her sweater over her hand to wipe at her nose.
Lila, who was closest to her, put her hand on Suzie’s shoulder, rubbing it gently. Everyone sympathized and started helping her come up with solutions, and afterwards the studying quickly commenced.
One Hour Later…
Becca giggled at a joke (Y/N) whispered to her as they left the library, Lila smiling a bit. Hermione and Suzie were finishing a conversation while actively shoving books into their bags, trying to avoid the door swinging into them. Hermione almost got hit but (Y/N)’s hand stopped it, both of them looking surprised.
“Watch out there love, almost got hit.”
Hermione blushed at the pet name.
Suzie looked between the two of them for a second, sitting in their tension-filled silence.
Clearing her throat loudly, Suzie caught the girls’ attention, “I’m going to go talk to David now, I’ll see you two later?” Without waiting for an answer she walked off, waving behind her. She shouted goodbye to the two Hufflepuff’s and was gone.
“We’d best be off too. (Y/N), would you be a dear and ask Fred and George for more sugar quills? Lila and I have been craving them,” Becca laughed, joining hands with Lila.
“For sure! I’ll let you know what they say. Same time next week?” They nodded. “Make sure Suzie knows that too, please.” And they were off.
Hermione and (Y/N) looked at each other, still standing in front of the library. Taking in a breath, (Y/N) broke the silence.
“Would you like to come again next week? Suzie seemed to like having you around,” (Y/N) laughed a bit, smiling at the Gryffindor in front of her.
“Yes, I’m sure it was just Suzie,” Hermione giggled and nodded, not able to look away from (Y/N). Said Slytherin scoffed in surprise at the comment, her face heating up as she laughed in amusement.
“I’m glad we’re in agreement on that then.”
They smiled at each other for a bit longer, not wanting to part.
“Well, I think this makes you an official part of our group. What do you say?” (Y/N) stuck out her hand. “Want to join our study group?”
Hermione met her half way, shaking her hand.
“Well, we wouldn’t want to disappoint Suzie, now would we?”

so, i was listening to lover by taylor swift and that made me create a fictional scenario in my head (again) well the part where taylor says "And you'll save all your dirtiest jokes for me" reminds me of george weasley 😭 😭😭 (I'm still in love with him 🤧)
I would be very excited if you wrote a one shot where the reader is a friend of hermaione and they spend all their time together with harry and ron. At one point fred notices this and befriends the reader (let's assume george was not there when fred approached the reader)
In short, the reader is someone quite funny and has a really charming laugh. At a time before one of snape's classes begins. Harry Ron and Mione next to the reader burst out laughing and as almost everyone was silent some turned to the group responsible for such a "rumble" the twins looked attentive and one of them (cofcofgeorgecofcof) was perplexed to see someone as cute and adorable as the reader will laugh like this, ""the most beautiful laugh you've ever heard""
As the days go by, George gets Fred to include him in a conversation with the reader to get to know each other more.
George and the reader become good friends and whenever George has the chance to be around the reader he doesn't miss it.
The reader is the type of person who also listens to everything the other says (and since the reader had a secret crush on georgie he was comfortable hearing him tell any bad joke or funny anecdote.)
Once in the great hall at howarts george and the reader were talking animatedly. Fred noticed how the reader smiled more and more every time George spoke to him and he also saw how her brother looked at her as if she were seeing the most beautiful thing in the world.
Anyway, at the Christmas ball, George stumbles over her words when he wants to invite the reader, which she ends up accepting.
They dance together, have fun and have their romantic moment when at that moment Fred enters throwing hints at her brother and her friend to confess her feelings.
When the party ends. On the way to the rooms. The reader and geoge end up confessing in a somewhat embarrassing way stumbling over their own words as well. (I love these cheesy 😭💗💗)
And the reader steals a kiss on the lips from George before going to sleep. Leaving georgie with a face the color of a tomato.
I would like the reader to be female if it is not so much to ask hehe.
I'm sorry if he is too dense to read, I hope you can understand what I wrote, my native language is not English and I'm literally translating this, I'm so sorry 😭😭
At first I was embarrassed to request this because of how corny it is but OH GOD HOW I LOVE THE FRIENDS TO LOVERS TROPE 😭😭😭😭😭😭
P.S. I love how you write, it's very beautiful 💓
s m i l e s
fandom- Harry Potter
pairing(s)- george weasley
a/n: tysm for requesting this with so much detail, im gonna attempt it to do it justice and thank you for taking the trouble to write this all out for me
p.s i love you and this literally has me giggling and smiling
requested- yes
warnings- none i hope
Fred Weasley was a trouble maker. He was a see it and do it kind of learner. His sense of eyesight has never failed him and it never will. So what he saw infront of his eyes must be true, dear Georgie was falling in love.
You were maybe two years younger than the Weasley twins when Fred came running behind you to return your quill you forgot in the great hall. This caused a freindship to blossom and set the path of when the both of you would be in laws.
Hermione Granger had spent all day teasing about the wrong twin who's going to fall head over heels for you.
the five times Fred Weasley took notice of Georgie falling in love:
(1) shared portion class-
There were many things you couldnt do that would get you in trouble in potions with snape. But the one that lost you 10 points from your house was your laugh.
Last period on a hot friday evening was potions, but not just any class but the infamous joined classes with your senior year used to finish shared portions much quicker and that was the time where snape was most insuferable.
Sitting next to the trio was trouble in all kind of ways. When you couldnt contain a smile and laughed at everything indiscriminatley. Ron had retorted to one of snape's remarks had you giggling.
And that was when a certain weasley came into view or you to his. Georgie's head turned to the adorable laugh that filled his ears to face the most adorable girl he'd ever seen. Her nose was scrunched and shoulders lightly shaking and the prettiest smile stretching her lips.
And for once in his life he was speachless at the prettiest thing he's seen for all he could think was how he'd get drunk on that laugh everyday if he could have poured it all into a bottle and kept for himself.
As slick as georgie tried to be, fred noticed hid brother asking around for you, creating very difficult methods to get your attention and making the dumbest possible excuses to talk to you. That was the day freddie decides to play match maker.
(2) corny jokes-
"What did the fish say when he swam into the wall?" asked georgie looking very proud of himself. Fred did not know if it was because he managed to convince harry to let him beside her or of his new horrible joke he thought of all night.
"What?" you replied, looking as curious to hear. You took your concentration off your notes and paid attention.
"Dam, get it?"
You had tour head tilted back laughing that same damn way you did the first time and holy god.
(3) the look-
It was a saturday evening and almost no one was in the great hall. most on their way back from hogsmedge while a few stayed back. George and you had found your place is the corner of the grand table with the most exiting extanges. Freddie was maybe a few feet far, they 2 could never stay apart too long was having a great laugh with his batchmates. Turning around to share the joke with George he noticed the two extanging smiles and laughs and the twinkle they had in their eyes.
her smile could'nt get any bigger
and he couldnt look at anything with so much love
(4) dates-
You were a woman of many admirers, so why were you turning everyone down? Fred was hurting his head wondering if this would increase Georgie's confidence or inflate it.
To speak for you, you had made up your mind. if it wasnt Georgie then why bother? As much as you tried not to lead yourself on like this, how could you imagine anyone but him beside you. he'd be the only one you'd want to talk to when you're sad, the first to tell when you were happy over something, the someone who'd you'd hug and dance and twirl with. how could any other man compare when he was infront of you.
But when it comes to him it leaves you to be the confident one while he's a stumbling mess
"so uh..like i know..ball-"
"you asking me to the ball weasley?"
"uhr, not like that-"
"then like what love?"
"i mean like as- just us-"
"yes darlin"
(5) dancing
Swaying and stepping on eachother's feet kept both of you to keep bursting up with fits of laughter, but the star of the night? Fred.
He was always looming around dropping his comments to both of you playing the double agent.
"she looks so pretty in that dress, makes u wanna oohlala"
"georgie's eyes are so gliterry, you could get lost in them"
"her lips are pretty nice eh, you keep wandering around there"
"georgie is more than a nice arse, he could be your nice arse"
His words of aproval kept looming over eachother's conciousness. was it time, would i regret it? one thing leading to another, both of you found yourselves at the end of the night and the both of you were ready to take a leap of faith in the all might merlin who watches over you
"so-uh you know that you were- i mean are-"
"before you say anything, i uh-"
"m trying really hard here woman, you're- I like-"
"me- you like me georgie"
and with that he was utterly confused. how did she know? who told her? and then hit his realization. you liked him back too.
"you like me back"
"no shit sherlock"
you were trying very hard to keep your cool but georgie looked so kissable didnt he? and why not take a chance, might as well
you pressed him to a wall with your palm flattened next to him, caging him even if he was towering over you. with the other, you pulled his tie, pulling him in to a kiss to last a few mere seconds and walked away, leaving georgie looking as similar to a tomato
holy shit she kissed me
she kissed me
i have just been kissed-

Hii! How do you think Fred would react when he finds out Y/N had left a lipstick stain on his face (she kissed his cheek in the morning) and he had been walking around all day with it without noticing it?
Hope it makes sense, have a lovely day xx

"Bye, honey," was the last thing that I heard after she kissed me on the cheek and headed to her last lesson of the day.
Her smell... Intoxicating.
I followed her with my eyes until she turned left, out of the Great Hall. Her hair swayed when she walked away. She was stunning. This girl had me on a hook and she definitely knew it.
"You have a little drool over here," George said pointing to the corner of his own mouth, laughing.
"Yeah, yeah," I shoved his shoulder slightly, and George started laughing even harder. "Just saying that this girl has you on the tip of her finger. You, my dearest brother, are in l o v e," he made a heart with his hands. Wanting to drop the subject I tried to stay silent, but still said under my breath "Yeah, maybe I am,".
Me and Y/N had been best friends for a long long time, our parents knowing each other having most to do with it. But our friendship turned out to be much more, I confessed, she confessed and here we were.  Almost five months later, now officially together but still keeping it private. And still, none of us had had the guts to say those three magical words, that mean more than what they show.
Maybe soon…
Me and George got up after a little chat with the group, they were laughing a little more than normal giggling like girls, but I guessed it had something to do with George's comment and I let it be.
Heading to our class I had a feeling I was being watched, and while paying more attention I began to hear the whispering. I was almost a hundred procent sure it was because of me.
Not trying to brag, but I was kind of used to it. Before me and Y/N were something I was a girls man, if you know what I mean. After one particular summer and a huge glow-up, they suddenly had eyes for me, and don’t get me wrong but I wasn't going to let that opportunity slip.
Even tho I and Y/N were now official, we were private. Most not knowing we were together, but we never denied it when asked.
This could explain the whispering, but still. Am I so irresistible? Nah, hahaha. I tried to ignore it and continued my journey to Professor McGonagall's class.
But the whispering and stars did not stop even when I entered the classroom, instead, it became clear that it was about me, I just had no clue why. It was only when Professor McGonagall entered the classroom that it stopped. As usual.
She scanned the room, looking for any imperfections or unusualities. Her eyes roomed the class from the very back until they stopped, where I was sitting. She walked to us, me, George and Lee and stopped right in front of our desk, looking directly at me. I am not going to lie, she was a very intimidating person and this time I had no clue as to what I had done wrong. I tried my best to think about what I had done wrong this time, I really did, but still, nothing had crossed my mind.
Then she spoke, “As much as I think that this colour suits you very well Mr Weasley, it is not appropriate to have this marked on your cheek,” she stayed serious, hands crossed behind her back. ‘My cheek?’ I thought, what could possibly be marked on my cheek, “Could you please walk to the toilet and wash your face, after that, you are welcome back in my classroom hopefully without the whispering. You are apparently a popular person Mr Weasley,” she walked back to her place behind her own desk. Eyes following me as I left I did as she told and walked myself to the closest toilet curious as to what she was talking about.
As soon as I walked in I saw it, it was crystal clear, I had been marked by you, your signature lipstick was now the main attraction on my white cheek. I wished I could have framed your kiss, girl, you made me soft and I loved it.
I loved you, shit!
Those three words again, they stayed in my head as I washed my face, as I walked back to class and in class, I was working on automatic, malfunctioning, all because of you.
It was only when the bell rang that I finally awoke from my trance. Transfiguration had been my last period of the day so I headed to our spot, knowing it was also your last period of the day.
Shit! There I was again thinking about the words, the kiss, you… You, you looked stunning, unaware I had already spotted you.
I walked to you and touched your shoulder, a beautiful smile appeared on your face when you realised it was me. God, I was so danm lucky.
Maybe now…
“I love you,” shit, I said it, did you even hear it? Your smile brightened, yep,  you definitely heard it. “What took you so long?” and you kissed me, you kissed me at our spot, the place we had finally confessed our feelings, the place I had finally said it, I said I loved you.
This was everything I had wished for, you were everything I had wished for.
Our lips let go of each other, now able to breathe again after this amazing kiss we had shared, our foreheads now touching as we tried to even our breath, “You know? I didn’t hear you say it…”  I looked into her eyes through my lashes, she toke some distance and rested her hands on my neck, “Frederick Gideon Weasley, I love you!”.
“Finally!” exclaimed a happy Lee who turned to George that was next to him (not as happy), “George, you owe me ten galleons!”
-“Seriously Fred, why couldn’t you have waited one day?!” George crossed his arms and headed to his dorm as Y/N and I laughed.
