I feel like, unlike a lot of my mutuals, I don’t tend to make super out there AUs and HCs JDJSJ all of my AUs stem from different canons and merging canon events from the games and the movie so all my HCs are very tame and probably just popular theories that technically *count* as headcanons because it’s not confirmed canon LMFAO

Vanessa is an older sister and either witnessed her younger sibling(s) die or was partially responsible for their deaths

Vanessa had to kill previous security guards at Freddy’s. the whole mechanic in the FNAF games is to survive to 6 AM, so there’s got to have been security guards that made it to 6. Vanessa is shown to introduce herself and become a trusted ally to each of the security guards when they’re first hired to keep an eye on them. My HC is that she’s there to lure them into a false sense of security and finished them off if they manage to escape the animatronics. I mean someone has to strap the guard down and turn on Shreddy Fazchair right? (ignore the fact that Mike also got strapped in there and it was very obviously not Vanessa responsible shhhh)

Vanny was Vanessa’s nickname and the Vanny character was her (fur)sona as a kid, when she still looked up to her Dad and now the memory of Vanny haunts Vanessa because she’s representative of her complaisance.

Vanessa was forced to be a cop because William needed someone to cover his tracks (something about the dichotomy of being an EMT to heal people and also a cop covering up murders)

Most importantly: Vanessa Afton is a lesbian. source? trust me bro. she told me herself actually
