When I watched One Piece with the 1000+ episode I thought I wouldn't be able to finish it. The odd thing is that when I watch other anime or k-dramas, tv series from HBO, even though they have lesser episodes I would get bored and just skip it till the ending. But in One Piece even the Opening Song I dare not skip it. This is why the One Piece is GOAT. I didn't even skip any filler arcs 😂😂😂.

However this post is not actually me gushing about how far I have come in One Piece.

Now we head straight for the main topic:

Upon seeing the scene where Sabo met some of the crew in Kyros house. I've got this enlightenment regarding a certain scene in Thriller Bark arc.

Remember this? Robin eavesdrops on the conversation Sanji has with Lola's crew. Curiosity is Robin's nature after all, she's curious as to why Luffy has recovered miraculously while Zoro is in worse condition. Her curiosity I think stems from the worries she has for Zoro, I think on her mind she has this question 'what happened?' , 'why did he become like this?' . I mean at this point Robin cares about her crew mates unlike before when she first joined.

But this scene might connects with the scene in Dressrosa arc.

After seeing this scene you can see that Zoro is alerted by Sabo's presence and ready to take him down but caught off-guard when Sabo threw the booze to him.

He was just caught off-guard, he didn't lower it. The booze is also not a peace offering from Sabo to Zoro. Remember Sabo can take Zoro head to head. Sabo is not weak especially now that he has Ace's DF.

I think that Sabo gifted Zoro the booze as a way to thank him for the sacrifice Zoro has done at the Thriller Bark arc and the loyalty shown by him.

Also after they've done talking Sabo gave Zoro, Luffy's vivre card.

Now the question is why not give it to Franky? Or Robin? Which was closer to him. Why trust a person you've just met when there's someone you have known for two years.

The reason is within those two years time skip. Robin might have been the medium why Sabo held a debt and trust towards Zoro (with him paying that debt with a booze and giving Zoro the vivre card). She might have also told Sabo about the events at Thriller Bark especially what she has heard when eavesdrops on that conversation that Sanji has with Lola's crew.

Well I think this is enough. I would also like to gush out with my shipping but I'm holding it in for now. I'm going to enjoy watching and reading One Piece first before rewatching it again to drown in my ships.

I'm holding my Zorobin heart for now 💜💚.

But just for a freebie: I don't think Zoro would lower is guard even if you gave him a booze. Zoro's first priority is Luffy and at that time Luffy was still in a bad condition. He lowered his guard though when Robin shouted Sabo's name.

Notice the way he stands straight when he asks Robin "You know him?"

Too Good To Go - App that shows you restaurants/grocers/etc. giving away discounted food they couldn't sell

Happy Eve War Armistice Day, everyone! As we all gather around the warmth of a flickering screen with friends, family, or discord buddies to celebrate the beginning of True Peace between Earth and the Space Colonies-- WHICH WILL SURELY LAST FOREVER-- why not play a little festive anime parlor game? This can be played with beverages, snacks, points, or the penalty/reward system of your choice!

THE CLASSICS— take ONE any time:

1) Someone shouts: "IT’S A GUNDAM!" or "THAT’S A GUNDAM!" 2) Magical Gundam Transformation Sequence 3) The BFG: the buster rifle beam canon does what it does best. 4) Relena Yells At The Clouds 5) "Omae o korosu!": Heero threatens to kill someone and then doesn’t. 6) THAT'S SO FETCH: Duo calls himself the God of Death or says one of his catchphrases. 7) BOOBY TRAPPED: Heavyarms fires its chest missiles. 8) SAFETY FIRST: Quatre wears his goggles. 9) GO-GO-GADGET: Wufei uses the dragon claw extendo-arm.

THE SPECIALS— take TWO whenever the following occurs: 1) A fruit or vegetable is given meaningful screen time. 2) Episode title is the opposite of what occurs in the episode. 3) VA Hall of Shame: a voice actor fumbles a line or really chews the scenery. 4) This Is Big Nose: An impossibly silly military call sign is used. 5) Someone with Special Eyebrows conveys normal information in a straightforward way. 6) FOUND FAMILY: The Maganac Corps shows up to save the day. 7) Bee-bee-bee-bee-bee-bee-bee!

SING ALONG AT HOME— you MUST CHANT whenever:

1) KAIJU SHOT! KAIJU SHOT! a mobile suit looms into view of a window and horrified onlookers. 2) CRAB! CRAB! CRAB! CRAB! any time you see a MS Cancer or its aquatic friend group. 3) CLOWN! CLOWN! CLOWN! CLOWN! any time you see a clown. 4) HEEEEEEROOOOOO: you know what to do. *Stackable with article 1 section 4. 5) PUSH THE BUTTON FRANK: an ominous button is pressed to devastating effect.

POUR ONE OUT— take TWO and go "Oooooo, YIKES!" whenever one of the following occurs:

1) Someone REALLY should have locked their mobile suit hatch. 2) One Day From Retirement: a hapless schmuck gets got immediately after giving the all clear. 3) A gross failure to correctly estimate the impact tolerance of gundanium alloy despite all documented evidence. 4) Heero takes it on the dome or otherwise hits the ground at speed. 5) Duo gets used as a punching bag. 6) The Bright Noah Special: someone gets slapped or hit in the face. 7) Brutality: A mobile suit makes direct lethal contact with a human target. 8) Red Card: a fencing move does damage to a person or their equipment. 9) The Can Opener: Something gets split in half by a beam or heat weapon. 10) Fuck This Thing In Particular: A mobile suit (or other vessel) self detonates-- *stackable with article 3 section 5. 11) Up-Skirt Shot: A mobile suit or its pilot gets an unflattering camera angle.

HALL OF FAME— FIRST ONE TO SPOT one of these gets a freebie:

1) BRAND NAME: shout the Improbable Brand Name™ featured on background signage or product. 2) QUICK CHANGE: A character somehow gets into or out of a space suit off screen with no indication how. 3) GOOD BOY ALERT: There's an animal on screen (end credits don't count). 4) THE FUTURE IS NOW: State of the Art 90's Tech in use. 5) IMPORTANT PERSON SITTING AT A DESK ON THE LEFT SIDE OF A ROOM WITH A LARGE WINDOW BEHIND THEM: An important person sits at a desk on the left side of an empty room with a large window behind them.

1) You can correctly identify one of the main voice actors in a bit role. 2) You spot an easter egg or reference to something from Universal Century. 3) Space Physics Don't Work That Way: you can explain why physics don’t work that way in space. 4) Actually Physics DO Work That Way: you can explain the science or theories behind an element of space tech, tactics, or engineering. 5) You can name a real-world location used on a map or background shot.

Horrortale: a summary.

As stated before, the UNDERTALE timeloop spans Frisk's tour through Mt. Ebott, with the condition that they or an unidentified third party can still loop back to their last or first SAVE point in the mountain for an indeterminate length of time after their return to the surface.

"Horrortale" is set in a later timeframe, within a timeline in which Frisk left monsterkind behind and Toriel attempted to return to the throne, but was forced back into exile and her position usurped by Undyne after Frisk reinforced monsters' fear and distrust of humans.

What distinguishes this version of the world, and what makes it difficult to identify as an AT or an AU, is what happens next.

The following seven-to-eight years have been dire, raising tensions between everyone, and as if it were a contagion, a frenzy of desperation has seemingly overtaken the kingdom. Monsters have been starving. The CORE suffered a shutdown, both symptomatic and causational of multiple shortages in resources. Sans was alerted of their intentions by an echoflower, but... Alphys... in trying to redeem herself to Queen Undyne and... talk her down from... self-destructing... encouraged her to use Sans' "eye" to repower it. He had an alternate solution to offer, but when Sans was cornered, it went... catastrophically. He sustained a traumatic skull injury, but was kept alive by his "eye" even after it was taken by force, and in retaliation, he stole another eye from a guard he killed, destroyed the CORE and... and dealt back a traumatic head injury back on Alphys, which her cognitive function would not survive.

He then declared in Snowdin that the mandate to collect SOULs would be abandoned in favor of... eating... the next humans to fall... and that any mention of this change of plans around Queen Undyne would be a punishable offense. He continues to scare other monsters now that he keeps a red eye in his broken socket, and Papyrus' teeth have become crooked since cooking with... human... meat.

It seems that since this incident, humans have begun to fall in at greater frequency. Exactly the kind of miracle monsterkind needed after Flowey took the other SOULs and Frisk departed intact, only it was a few years too late. Queen Undyne intended war, monsters had become man-eaters, even dust-eaters, and some, like her majesty Toriel, feared that the Barrier would now be the only thing holding humans back from a finishing counterstrike.

Then came a twelve-year-old child... the fallen human Aliza.

Like in Underfell, the flower chooses to follow her around now that monsters have become the aggressors, though he looks different with an eye now taking up his whole face. Perhaps an aftereffect of the form he took when he absorbed the SOULs? It is certainly a more... innocent change in comparison. In any case, her majesty Toriel has become overbearing and quickly burned him down, yet her vision and her competency at keeping a human healthy have deteriorated significantly by the time she takes in Aliza.

Aliza is able to use a hidden vial of healing water to revive Flowey, and in return he teaches her how to use her fear to access the SAVE. Now that she can Reload, she is able to pass by Toriel's interference in front of the door, Sans' attacks from outside it, and his and Papyrus' challenges. Though, in the interest of fairness, Papyrus offers three "freebies" to Aliza, invoked by hand signs, wherein he would oblige to bail her out.

Between puzzles, she also rebuilds a snowman and is given its carrot nose as a show of thanks.

Aliza does not (adamantly) spend her first freebie until the second lethal puzzle, but interestingly, SAVEs do not completely undo the harm she Reloads from. She retains scars on her neck where a trap in the first puzzle decapitates her, and her hair is damp with blue snow at the next puzzle– which she sinks into the first time and drowns. Sans accuses her of cheating when he notices, and attempts to cut off her ear as penalty, but he is scared off by Flowey's impression of a growl from the trees. The next time they cross paths, Sans offers a hot dog and... fails to discourage her from eating... Papyrus' spaghetti. This at least seems to dissuade his suspicion that she cheats, but he does not spare her from learning what or who was in what she ate.

As she is pointed to the Snowdin restaurant, the mayor divulges what he knows about Sans to Aliza before the patrons gather to drag her to Grillby– whose body as a fire elemental has been cannibalizing itself as it starves for magical sustenance. Her back is burned as he attempts to cook her alive, but she is rescued by Papyrus when she invokes her second aforementioned freebie and he declares that Queen Undyne is coming– which soon turns out to be more than a bluff.

Supposedly, Sans had abstained from eating human meat despite being the one to declare that monsters should, but when Aliza is thrown outside in the panic, the smell of her burns... drives him into a feeding frenzy... and he rips off her arm... but Papyrus strikes him in the face before he can take a bite.

Note: it seems that these frenzies also cause Sans to leak black fluid from his mouth, not too dissimilar from the black tears observed from Chara when overwhelming Frisk with bloodlust.

Aliza, meanwhile, escapes into the woods where she can overhear Queen Undyne threatening the townsfolk for the theft of her candy. Thinking fast, she uses the blue snow and a piece of charcoal Flowey found to make a disguise before rushing in to take the fall, earning Snowdin's camaraderie. When Queen Undyne orders Ailza to identify herself, Papyrus takes a neighbor's suggestion but misspeaks, interjecting to accidentally declares she is Sans' daughter. Queen Undyne quickly takes interest and tries to take her away to gain leverage on Sans and interrogate her for his weaknesses, only this leads to the townsfolk standing up to the queen and her guard. Queen Undyne backs down when Sans reappears, only just learning he now has a "daughter."

Sans and Papyrus then argues over whose should be the fifth puzzle, until Aliza interjects to choose between them herself. She chooses Papyrus' puzzle, which consists of red lines around the house eventually leading into the oven. Aliza argues with Flowey, and he closes it on her as the heat begins to melt off her disguise. The smell attracts Papyrus, which similarly sends him into a frenzy as he wrenches the oven door back open, but Aliza knocks him out with a baking pan as soon as she is free. Her next move is to take a knife she finds to mince the carrot she received before and, along with medicine she'd found in Toriel's home, adds it to the tomato paste one of the monsters gave her as repayment for inspiring them all to stand together against Undyne. The activity stirs Sans' appetite again, but he is taken off-guard after she gives him the mixture in a ketchup bottle as a peace offering.

He cautiously accepts, and the mayor of Snowdin brings Aliza... a meal, affirming her welcome into the town.

It has been a philosophical debate for perhaps as long as the concept of philosophical debates themselves. Which is the greater force, love or hate? Anger or fear? Hope or despair? My research, my experiences, would certainly make a compelling argument that it would be Determination. The epitome of willpower. But what force can override that?

The possibility of tampered code may diminish its legitimacy to some degree, maybe even a great degree. But looking at this UA, when it comes to close competitors against Determination, there is something to be said about the way people can be overwhelmed by desperation...

Do you use ereaderiq? Just learned about it but not sure how useful it is and I know you are the ebook queen

i don't! it looks handy but i've been using bookbub to spend all my money $1.99 at a time for years now. i mostly just skim the daily deal recommendation emails but i also follow some authors and have a short wishlist of books from non-followed authors. it also lets authors make recommendations and then alerts you when a book recommended by an author you follow is on sale. and they let you pick which ebook seller you want to buy the book from, so it's not all amazon deals.

... i'm not kidding about how much money i've spent, though. i have almost 3k kindle ebooks at this point and not as many of them were freebies as you might hope.

Hello again, takes this ask as just a freebie to talk about something you don’t usually get to talk about, for example some oc lore, some facts about yourself you’d like to share, just talk about whatever you want!

Okay hi hello I am BORED so I'm using this ask to rant about my fnaf oc Coughdrop (or Doodle):

So I'm still in the stages of redesigning her but I have a whole ass backstory and whatever. Coughdrop is a very very new animatronic to the Plex, designed to help cater to any guest medical needs. A kid got a nose bleed from crashing in the raceway? She's there to clean em up. Someone scraped their knee falling in the daycare? Bandaids!! Even more serious medical emergencies she's equipped to handle!! In her hands are defibrillators, so if someone has a heart attack she can get to work immediately. If she doesn't have the supplies on hand to treat a guest in need, she'll usher them to the closest first aid station and take care of them there!!

She cannot talk, as a voice box was axed to better fit more medical supplies in her, but she can make beeps, whistles, and project emotions/images with the screen that makes up her face!! She is very sweet and optimistic, being very new she's pretty clueless to how everything works. Namely people. She gets along best with Moon, as her keeps her company after hours. She can't leave the first aid station unless alerted to a guest mishap, so nights are lonely without him.

Doodle wishes one day that she can be loved by kids just as much as the others. She imagines having posters of her face up on the walls of the Plex and being able to free roam like the others. Unfortunately for her, that'll never get to happen :(
