So. we tried to make a character in bg3 last night. ill definitely say this, moving attribute bonuses from race to freechoice is. *such* an obvious change and immensely increases your available design space.

Anyway, we wanted to make a paladin, for one of our alters (J), who aspires to be a paladin. The issue is, he's a man and most of the rest of us are either women or largely used to the weird womanish state of our body. So making an Actually-Male-Looking character was.... *weird*, for everyone.

The compromise we settled on was 1: not human, since a little distance makes things a lot easier 2: Male voice (not that any of the voices matched his at all. or came close. theyre all basically the same voice ngl) 3: 'female' body and face 4: dick

Which. kinda has the effect of, like. a weird gender thing? Where if we dont focus in on our character too much we perceive them as male and close-enough to J to only inflict a little dysphoria, but zooming in on their body makes the gender/self image weird and confusing. just like real life ig!

sidenote: holy shit seeing a body with boobs AND a dick??? in a nonfetishized way? soft dick??? holy shit. actually felt. Hella Seen for a sec there. ...which was ruined a bit by the complete and total lack of options for fat bodies or faces, but. whatever.

UEHEE! there are technically two work periods but i forgot to save documentation for that one :( Work Period: April 20th Est work time: 1hr Actual work time: 42min

this was spent finishing my keys but i forgot to save a gif for it D:

So technically this was supposed to be for last week as my "session 5" and its currently meant to be "session 6", but i thought that this prompt specifically would really be worth spending extra time on. this doesnt really affect my schedule anyways because my 6th session is meant to be freechoice anyways! i finished keys and moved on to breakdowns. not exactly sure im doing this process correctly but it doesnt look bad and that is the goal 💪 the stretch he does before picking up the box is a lil rough but im still workin on it >_>; i think the stumble at the end looks good tho :D
