…beber copos/canecas e garrafinhas de água ou outras bebidas em lugar público, que ficaram fora do seu campo de visão por segundos (podem ter batizado com “boa noite Cinderela”) para te apagarem, com o intuito de te roubar e/ou até fazer coisas piores…
Compre o seu e coma o seu. Tenha personalidade própria, e saiba dizer NÃO. Tenha domínio próprio, nem tudo é lícito, porque pode te matar a curto, médio ou a longo prazo, e nem tudo que é lícito convém, e você não precisa virar escravo dessas coisas, você foi criado para ser livre justamente para dizer NÃO para o que vai trazer consequências desastrosas para sua vida, atingindo até familiares e amigos, e afetando até sua vida espiritual, destruindo até sua vida com Deus, fazendo você pensar em correr de Deus, e não para Deus, para ser liberto de tudo o que te paralisa e te domina, e te bloqueia de viver a “vida em abundância” que Deus tem pra você. O pecado que te domina, te aprisiona, deixa cego, surdo e mudo para as coisas referentes a Deus, não faz mal apenas ao seu corpo e mente. Te destrói por completo, rouba sua alegria de viver e te mata fisicamente e espiritualmente (perde totalmente o contato com Deus).

God speaks Shalom=disrupting chaos and He speaks Truth=Freedom for all. We have peace and we are free people because of those God has enlisted and called, soldiers of God, who serviced our liberty with the giving of their lives to defend it. The memories of these Godly warriors are the memorial of our freedom, their courageous and strong actions always remembered, and treasured as our freedom, they purchased with their lives, is used in a respectful, honorable, righteous, and civl ways. We have been given more than we can repay and this precious freedom should never be taken for granted.

God speaks to me in flash visions where He begins to teach me something that changes the way I see an important Biblical concept.
One morning He showed me a dry sandy beach. On this beach were men in religious garb. One looked like a Jewish rabbi. Another like a Catholic Preist, another like a wealthy Bishop. They were sitting on the sand with magnifying glasses 🔎 looking and studying every detail of a surf board.
The heat was intense.
The sand was dry.
The men all had a smug attitude because of the time they spent studying the surf board.
“I spend four hours a day studying”
“I spend six hours...”
“I spend eight...”
The men studied the exact color, the material it was made out of, the details, markings, and lines and images on the surf board.
They were ‘experts’.
People sat on the dry sand and paid close attention to these ‘scholars’. Most of them had expensive degrees, titles and positions.
Then God shows me a vision of a wet surfer moving with grace on the powerful waves in the backdrop. No following. Just them and their board.
He began to show me the ‘wet faith’ and the hours of quality alone time and intimacy this surfer spent with ‘the board’.
He began to teach me the importance of having [that kind] of intimacy.
He began to show me the waves represented the power, beauty and grace of God’s love on earth, and the need for humble respect.
God showed me how the Holy Spirit is given as the greatest gift to be truly ‘with us’ and He teaches us the secrets of heaven and the subtle nuances of riding the wave of God’s love and power.
Those with ‘wet faith’ have the greatest ability to teach others the same priceless lesson of being intimately taught by the LORD.
Those who have spent hours and hours and hours with the ‘LORD-BOARD’ don’t need to brag about it because it is apparent to those who witness their lives.
Daily quality alone time is key.
“You gave Your good Spirit to instruct them, Your manna You did not withhold from their mouth, And You gave them water for their thirst.”
Nehemiah 9:20
“I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever;”

Peter said to them, “Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”

Real study time is more about intimacy with Him. The end purpose of knowing the Word is for ‘active riding’, not ‘static study’. The process should be enjoyable, not dry and boring.

Peer Pressure in the Church | Galatians 5:2-3
Look: I, Paul, say to you that if you accept circumcision, Christ will be of no advantage to you. I testify again to every man who accepts circumcision that he is obligated to keep the whole law. — Galatians 5:2-3
CALL OUT: Today's callout goes to Keron Taylor from Sterling, VA, who recently signed up for video access on our website.
Are you feeling the pressure in our culture to conform to practices when they contradict the Gospel of Grace?
We have discovered through Galatians that circumcision was the big issue in these churches. Jewish teachers were putting pressure on non-Jewish new male converts to fit in with the new Christian culture by being circumcised. In the following ten verses, Paul will be very direct about addressing this matter among men.
What I find interesting about this issue is that new converts, and even some well-known believers, are falling for it. They are succumbing to the pressure to conform because they are convinced there is no harm, and it might enhance their relationship with God.
This is evidence that the peer pressure we faced as young teens will manifest into adulthood. Peer pressure never goes away. You don't outgrow it. You are going to experience it everywhere, including in the church. Sometimes, this peer pressure can be good, helping us avoid sinful actions. On the other hand, sometimes it can be bad, leading us toward feelings, beliefs, and actions that are abominable in our relationship with God. The latter is Paul's concern here.
We often succumb to social pressure because we give too much credence to the people who expose certain ideas. For example, let's consider some of the comments made by Whoopi Goldberg just a few days ago on The View. She used one of the Ten Commandments to justify abortion. Obviously, you and I believe her statement is blasphemous. But don't forget some people give Goldberg and the things she says a lot of credence, so much so they will follow her right off the cliff in blasphemy.
And that is Paul's concern here. That new converts are going to follow false teachers right off the cliff into blasphemy.
But did you know there is a way to test when a false teaching or false teacher is pressuring us?
The test is quite simple. Paul presents it in our text, in verse three. It's this: Play the principle out practically. Here is what Paul says:
I testify again to every man who accepts circumcision that he is obligated to keep the whole law.
All you need to do is play the concept out. If it plays out and doesn't align with the intended outcomes of the Gospel, then it's not the Gospel. And if it isn't the Gospel, then don't listen to it, don't be pressured to do it, and definitely don't share it with others.

PRAY THIS: Lord, help me to stand firm in the truth of your Gospel, resisting the pressures of this world that lead me astray. Grant me discernment to recognize and reject falsehoods, and empower me to live boldly according to your Word. Amen.

“Live as free people, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as God’s slaves.” - 1 Peter 2:16
In the previous verses, Peter has revealed that God's will for Christians is to submit to every human authority, from the emperor (in Peter's time) down to those who enforce the law. Peter delivered this command understanding that Christians would sometimes be falsely accused and treated unfairly by those in authority.
But don't Christians have a higher authority? Aren't we servants first and foremost to God and His will? Peter says yes. That's exactly the point he is making. Christians are free people in Christ. We are no longer subject to the Old Testament Law, and our true purpose and future are not determined by any human government.
Peter doesn't want his Christian readers to think of submission to human authorities as any kind of slavery. We should submit to human authority of our own free will. We should submit to human authority not out of loyalty to governments or men, but out of obedience and loyalty to God. As His "slaves," we follow His command to submit to human laws. God is the one we are serving in our submission to any other authority. That makes us truly free. Believers are not people who submit to governments out of cowering fear, or even earthly loyalty. We submit because our God tells us to, and we are His people set aside for His purposes.
We must never, Peter writes, claim our freedom as God's people as way of justifying wrong or sinful (or "evil") choices. To do so shows that we deeply misunderstand what it means to be a free servant of God. Nor are we to use "submission" as an excuse to do something sinful, simply because the government has told us to do it (Acts 5:28–29).
