One your least favorite characters and why you dislike them? Hordak. He had potential to be a really cool villian but falls into the typical tired tropes. Like, look at axiom verge, they did the whole “evil genocidal murderer and army of clones” thing WAY cooler. You actually LIKE the characters. I didn’t feel much if any sympathy for him at all in the show, and I don’t think he was deserving of a redemption.

Any lgbt / race / neuro headcanons important to you? No character is straight. Bow and perfuma and jewelstar are definitely trans. Adora and seahawk are nonbinary. Adora has adhd and ocd, Entrapta is autistic, and almost every character has ptsd at this point.

What do you Not Like about your hyperfixation? The majority of season 5 LMAO plus the fanbase is horrifying. 😶

70. Are you the kind of friend you would want as a friend? Yeah, I think so. I try to think what I would want from a friendship and work from there. I can be a bit blunt/impulsive, and maybe too intense sometimes, but I try to be genuine, and understanding.

83. Give the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the word: heart? I picture a piece of heart from legend of Zelda: ocarina of time, plus the idea of like... a somewhat anatomically correct heart inside this huge, red chamber... think maybe it’s a distorted memory of going to a science museum as a kid and seeing something similar.

92. You can re-live any part of your life, but only for a half hour. Which half hour do you relieve? Oh this is hard. I mean, you could ask me what day, or what year, and I still couldn’t give a solid answer, but what half hour? I don’t know... I’m trying to think what the most pure joy I’ve felt in 30 minutes has been. I can think of some moments that were really nice or cathartic, but they don’t stand out for any particular reason. They’re just brief, mundane moments of belongingness, and while they’re certainly nice, I can experience them all again, I hope. I truly... this is depressing, I can’t think of one.

Okay... well. I’ll pick the hour after my interview for a phD program in florida. I didn’t get accepted, even though the lab director fought so hard for me. But that interview? I fucking nailed it. I 100% knocked it out of the park, and the director said straight out “you’ll want to consider packing your stuff soon, you’ll wanna be here early so you could do stuff over the summer for credits.” If the other directors didn’t override him, I would have been 2 years into a program by now. But. Anyways. For that 30 minutes I finally felt like I had my shit together, like everything was going to be alright, things made sense, I had a future and a stable foundation and I was gonna make something of myself, I belonged, I had purpose, I wasn’t afraid. And I want that back, would do anything to have that back.

F! For the fanfic ask game

F: Share a snippet from one of your favorite dialogue scenes you’ve written and explain why you’re proud of it.

Oh no, dialogue is my favorite thing!  ...okay, I’m gonna be a jerk and do a couple snippets. First off is Angella dropping some truth bombs in Mothers, be Good to your Daughters because even as I was writing it I was like “whoa, where did that come from?”

“You were alike in many ways, you know,” Angella said a moment later.

Catra scoffed, and it sounded wet. “I thought you were trying to make me feel better.”

“I said many, not all. She was driven. Intelligent. Determined. As for her other, less desirable qualities, you have accomplished what all good mothers wish for their children: you have grown beyond them. Become the best version of themselves, the one they could never attain.”

“I don't believe you.” Her voice was unsteady in the dark.

“It’s the truth. And truth remains, whether you believe it or not,” Angella said simply.

And then one line from chapter  2:

“You’ll love many people in your life, Adora,” she said, quietly. “Not all of them will deserve that love, but that doesn’t make you a fool for giving it.”

I guess using Angella’s voice makes it easier to be philosophical? Or I accidentally stole those from somewhere and didn’t realize it, lol

The other thing is... I love banter. I legit have a hard time writing anything without banter. And, at the risk of sounding full of myself, a lot of it makes me laugh (or smile) when I re-read it--so I gotta include some of that. From Chapter 5 of Unbroken:

“You know,” Adora replied, her exasperated tone hiding a familiar hint of fondness, “I’d forgotten how much I missed your charming personality.”

Catra snorted, digging into the bag around her shoulders for one of the two ration bars it contained. “Yeah, and I forgot how much I missed your thick head.” She unwrapped the bar and glanced up to see Adora looking at her with one of those obnoxious grins that Catra hated.

“So you did miss me.”

“What—I—no!” Catra sputtered. Adora just continued staring at her with that dopey “I win” grin. Catra growled, shooting her a death glare as she shoved half the ration bar into her hand.

“Eat,” Catra commanded, then muttered under her breath: “Moron.”

“Fine,” Adora said, taking the bar. “But only because you missed me.”

Catra glared again, turning on her heel and stalking away. Adora choked on a bite of ration bar.

“Hey, where are you going?”

“Leaving you to die,” Catra called over her shoulder.

That and the whole “it’s a CANYON” running joke still make me laugh. XD

This is a post concerning @ / freezingmyblitzballs, otherwise known as Meg. A few months ago, she said these incredibly racist and transphobic things in our group chat. Despite the grace I gave to her in this conversation and during our fallout, she chose to antagonize and gaslight me, and still does to this very day, by spreading lies - such as I sent her death threats and am gaslighting everyone that sides with me.

She has chosen to demonize someone who was once her friend - that being Char. Char is Black, and is in this GC, and never received an appropriate apology. Instead, they were blocked and stereotypically demonized by this white person.

My friends and I will be posting more in the following days. Please, be careful when interacting with Meg.
