Soup made out of fresh veggies hits different.
Altho I'm a big fan of using frozen vegetables in my meals like peas or corn and many more, sometimes it is so great to just have one made entirely out of fresh produce. Like this one overfilled with fresh root vegetables.
I also just recently started storing my scraps to try and make my very own vegetable stock. I will share it here for sure.

Recently God has been putting me around people who have gardens. People who live off grid and are growing their own foods
When I went down south, the two groups of friends I ended up seeing both started gardens on their properties with the goal of them being self sustained in a few years.
This was so inspiring to me, I thought heck yeah I want to start a garden as well. An abundance of fresh fruits and veg? Sign me up! But… starting a garden takes a lot of work. It takes dedication, nurturing, and patience. It takes tending to every day for years… but once that garden reaches a point of self sufficiency, it provides for life. Once the trees start producing fruit, they will continue to for years and years to come.
I thought God just wanted to show me cool gardens on this trip… but after thinking over things I realised he was really showing me something so much deeper. He was showing me the power of patience and commitment. Gardening is a beautiful example of what can happen when we focus our attention on something and keep working on it daily even before it flourishes. Without being concerned about when trees will fruit or plants will sprout, the gardener keeps nurturing and caring for these plants with the deep faith and knowing that at the right time they will begin to produce and create abundance. It’s just the way nature works.
The same goes for anything we do in life… any of our goals. I personally have related this to my online business. It is something that I’ve been working on for a couple years now and I have seen it sprout and flourish, but there is still such a long way for me to go and I know my potential to flourish is higher than what I’ve accomplished thus far. This moment has inspired and reminded me to keep nurturing these goals of mine and tending to them everyday… you never know the day the trees will bear fruit and continue for life. 🌸
