This whole thing was an idea that I got just because I was thinking about ll and sl scar because they were both so lonely like wtf and I just though about a scene that would be so. Grips chair.

VERY rough sketch of Breakdown and Bumblebee (tfe) I'm working on(preview)

It's very rough because I haven't cleaned the lines yet on a different layer, nor have I colored it. It's just in the first step progress I still have so much to work on so consider this a messy and rough doodle.

I loved their dynamic so I felt obligated to draw them, it's just so adorable, their banter, the angst everything about them screams soulmate energy whether it's platonic or romantic they are soulmates I kid you not.

I guess I should properly correct it, it's Breakdown and Goldbug, this is based on my new Wip ao3 fic which follows my own version of the events after the s1 finale.

Bee is definitely rolling his eyes under that visor (playfully ofc) I'll probably add a little chibi in the top corner.

I'm not really including a whole lot of ships in the fic just breakbee and starblade with other implied background relationships like ironchrome, oplita, thunderstream,jazzprowl and dratchet, the reason being the fic isn't really romance focused(and because I'm horrible at writing romance)and even the main ships I've listed won't have any explicit scenes just scenes to develop their relationship further.

Each soulmate pair got their own thing. Some became stronger together, like each other's presence would bring a boost to their skills. Others could communicate telepathically, sending short messages to each other. Some could share emotions between each other or see flashes of what they see or even taste the food they eat.

at first I thought that the game had sold my house to some random woman (thank u Clavia for sweeping but you scared the shit outta me) and then I was relieved to know that it was still link's, but then you get inside and all the stuff has been replaced w Zelda's stuff and her journal is in the bedroom and her secret well is down below. I know a bunch of people have said like oh they were living together and I thought that too at first (despite the one bed), but the more I hang around the village the more I'm convinced that Link just gave Zelda his house and kinda fucked off a little. it would go a long way towards explaining how everyone knows zelda but no one knows Link (though that seems to be a common theme), but the greatest evidence imo is when you talk to one of the kids from the school who's waiting for Zelda to return near the house. she asks link if he's going to "zelda's house" and says that zelda often leaves the village but always quickly returns. it seems based on this and the interior décor that the house now firmly belongs to zelda, and link was maybe a non presence in the village after the events of the first game. I wonder if he gave her the house as something of a retreat, a place where she could be alone and recover while also being close to Purah - one of the few other people she knows from Before - and the lab. meanwhile it doesn't seem like there's any space made for link in the house or the village. idk what it all means but I do have enormous feelings about Link giving up the one space that was really his so that zelda could have a home again after hers was destroyed

Sure, out of context, I see how it could be warped into something negative but when you consider that this is Kageyama who's never had a partner, who historically has had trouble trusting his team verbally expressing faith in his partnership with Hinata, when you take into account their promise to follow each other to the top of the world, it's such a gorgeous, meaningful sentiment of trust and a testament of how Karasuno has positively influenced Kageyama in just a couple days so that now he can lift up Hinata's spirits like this when just a few days ago he wouldn't have and it's just the worst possible reading to make it out to be some kind of curse that Hinata will never be good without him or some bullshit.
