I know Jotun Loki and Party Thor have the whole "Brother from another mother" thing going on, but I think it was a missed opportunity for Jotun Loki and Frigga to have a best friend's mom relationship.
Party Thor: Bro, I require you assistant. My mother's coming!
Jotun Loki, remembering the last time they got busted by Frigga: (⊙_⊙;)
Frigga sees Jotun Loki sitting at Thor's study session and is immediately suspicious.
Jotun Loki, waves awkwardly: Hi Mrs. Frigga.
Frigga: Am I going to have to call your father again?
Jotun Loki: No ma'am.

I need to say it...
Thor's coronation takes place, not because Thor is ready, but only because Papa Odin is tired, he wants to take his long nap for several years, Mama Frigga wants to take a vacation with her sisters , and therefore there is not really another choice...
Well, in What if. Because in the first film, there was another choice. Loki.
But it seems Odin really didn't want to give him the throne....
And if he had simply said to his sons, ‘it is the eldest who will be king, no need to be jealous or to argue, it is not a question of favorite, it is the rule, it's not me who decides’ then Loki might have been less angry, even if he would still have been right to think that his brother was not yet mature enough to reign

What if..... Frigga and Jotun Prince Loki interacted?
What if!Frigga: Seeing as you two are always together... My son claims to have been in a cultural exchange trip on Midgard... You wouldn´t know anything about that do you?
Whatif!Loki: Hmm. No, ma'am! In fact I´ve been in Jotunheim this entire time.
Whatif!Frigga: Oh really? Because I´ve seen a couple of Frost Giants down there, including someone mentioning a certain Prince Loki?
Whatif!Loki: *sweating icicles* Prince? Oh you must mean the Loki from Utgard! Like, people mistake me and my cousin for each other all the time. "Totally" not the same person. I swear.

Carol is finally used as she should have been from the beginning!
LOKI IS SO HOT!!🔥 I swear I almost rutted when he appeared.
Also I've never seen SO many female characters in one piece of fiction. Women rock.
Chris and Tom clearly had their time of their lives voice-acting this. I swear, Tom is the funniest when he does voice-acting. He really has a talent for it.
"My brother from another mother" 🥰
I just LOVE how they re-used some of the sentences Tom said outside of the Marvel movies.
What if THIS Loki was the Jotunn variant we saw in the Loki series?? Cause you know, like child Sylvie, he is happy and content, and we can't have a happy Loki, can we?
Mom Frigga rocks too. And Jane for calling her.
Women solved the problem in that episode, and that's neat.
But I still prefer Jotunn hot brat Loki. 🤤 🔥

Disney has trademarked the names of a bunch of Norse gods.
This is not okay.
These gods do not belong to Disney. They do not belong to Marvel. They belong to themselves and themselves alone, along with all those who worship them as the deities they are.
Thor, Loki, Odin, etc., these gods were not thought up by anyone at Disney or Marvel.
Stan Lee knew how sacred these gods are to those who follow many different Pagan traditions, how sacred they are to Scandinavian cultures to whom they are so important.
My best friend follows the Norse gods. She will be so bloody offended when she finds out about this. These are her gods, this is her religion. These are the deities she worships, the gods she prays to, the traditions she follows. She enjoys the Marvel portrayals of these characters, but they are separate from the gods she believes in.
Disney is stepping on her religion in an effort to gain more and more money.
Stan Lee did not trademark these names. He understood their importance and their sacred meaning. He was respectful enough not to do this.
These names are not the intellectual property of anyone. Neither the original names in runes nor the anglicised names that are used in Marvel's works.
They were around well before us (a whole ass millennium before us), and they will be around well after the greedy bastards who have decided to trademark religious symbols are dust.
It should be common sense and common courtesy not to trademark the names of religious figures, which all of these gods and goddesses are, even if you do not believe in them.
mod is not christian but you would never see me trademark jesus ffs it crosses a Line
If you agree, please sign and share the petition. If you can, please chip in to get this petition everywhere it can possibly go.
It is f**king disgusting that Disney is doing this.
It needs to stop.
Oh, and one more thing.
i want to throw up ive included a bunch of tags trying to get the norse pagans attention bc im sure they'll want in on this if u have an in with the norse paganism community on tumblr pls do tag everyone u can
im wondering now if they've done this to the greek gods too ughh that would show even more of a disregard for other people's religious views and past people's religious views ughhhh ok imma go look at the toilet bowl for a bit 😅pls sign it'd mean the world to me

2012 LOKI HAD NO IDEA THAT HE WAS LOVED AND CHERISHED BY HIS MOTHER, FATHER AND BROTHER.
HE HAD NO IDEA.
ALL HE WANTED WAS TO BE LOVED.
ALL HE WANTED WAS TO BELONG.
NOW HE FINALLY GETS TO SEE THAT HIS MOTHER ALWAYS LOVES HIM
HIS FATHER ALWAYS LOVED HIM
AND THOR, HIS BROTHER, THE ONE HE WAS ALWAYS COMPARED TO, LOVED HIM AND THOUGHT THE FUCKING WORLD OF HIM.
HE FINALLY LEARNS THIS, EVERYTHING HE'S EVER WANTED, ONLY TO REALIZE HE CAN NEVER GO BACK AND NEVER GET THE CHANCE TO SEE IT FOR REAL--

But seriously!!! LOOK HOW MUCH HE LOVES HIS FAMILY!
LOOK AT IT
SOAK IT IN
HE LOVES HIS FAMILY SO MUCH AND THEY DON’T EVEN KNOW
Hearing Odin say that he loves him.
Realizing that he and Thor are still together and talking. And that they watched Odin die together. For one small, incremental moment, he wasn’t alone in something awful.
The death of his parents is so painful that he has to look away from the screen. Then quickly looks back up upon hearing Thor talk.
Maybe you’re not so bad after all brother,
Loki laughs quietly, because Thor gets him. And Loki feels that for the first time in a very long time. Then Thor offers to hug him, and Loki smiles. And laughs. The first, genuine smile and laugh that we’ve gotten from him since Thor 1 (at this point in the timeline):
And by the Norns, they hugged. You can freakin see it in his face.
And then he goes forward, because surely, surely there is more good memories like these here. Of course there are, he and Thor are finally talking. Their parents may be dead, but Thor’s love means so much to him it’s the first thing that breaks Loki out of his stoic mask.
Look at him, still hopeful, still wanting.
And then Thanos makes an on-screen appearance.
And then Loki realizes, no. There are no more good memories here.

Absolutely losing my mind over the fact that in one timeline Odin brought a fucking crocodile back from a battle and presented it to Frigga like “Here, this will be our second child,” and she was like “Sure, why not?”

When it hits you, that raising a shape-shifting baby of a different species might not be as easy as you thought
When you find out that your new child is the coolest baby you’ve ever held
idk it was funnier in my head

“You were not born to be king, Loki. You were born to cause pain and suffering and death. That’s how it is, that’s how it was, that’s how it will be.”
these parts really hurt because that's exactly what happened in AOA too;it's painfully canon
everyone (even Loki himself) treating Loki like he's just something necessary for everyone else's story and he's nothing outside of what he's meant to do and meant to be
Loki deserves to find himself ;Loki deserves to be the writer of his own story;Loki deserves to be SOME ONE!
I'm already sure this is gonna be an amazing series about identity and I love it;Loki deserves to burn TVA to the ground and be what he wants to be
I need this moment in the show
