I was always, always, treated as GIRL. I was always, always told to behave in ways that were socialized GIRL. I was always, always told that GIRL meant attraction to BOY with everything that goes with it. When was I allowed to be just a kid, and not a GIRL? When was I allowed to be not attracted to anything, instead of being told I had to feel attraction to BOY? There was no "Oh, you're a kid, don't worry about it." I was a GIRL. I was supposed to be attracted to BOY. Every adult around me put that shit on me. Adults at a distance put that shit on me. The entirety of our culture put that shit on me.

You don't want kids to not be thinking about their gender. You don't want kids to not be thinking about their sexuality. You don't.

YOU WANT KIDS TO NOT THINK THEY HAVE A SAY IN ANY OF IT. That's what the fuck you want.

crazy how some of y'all (most of y'all) do the most telling people not to draw will in pink or anything girly at all ever, and discourage people from having headcanons that have him doing or liking anything even remotely stereotypically feminine, all in the name of "just because he's gay doesn't mean it's okay for you to do this," (even when it's something pulled directly from canon lmao) but then go and do that to mike to the point where that fanon concept of him gets upheld as canon a lot of the time, even though.... hm.... you guys are operating under the assumption that mike is also gay/mlm, no? so, what's the issue really then? and why is it okay to do that with mike but not will?
