A fan of Batman, a lover of men's fashion and a good watch, the story of Pedro Pascal is one of those rare in Hollywood. The truth is that, at 43 years old, the actor of Chilean origin is one of the most sought after at the moment. For example, his agenda is full of events and releases between now and the end of 2019 (the Wonder Woman sequel among them), and, of course, his recent association with Cartier.

When he was about to turn 40, Pedro Pascal decided to help a theatre student who was rehearsing for an audition, as the Chilean told host Seth Meyers on The Late Night Show. It was about a character named Oberyn Martell, who would be part of the fourth season of one of the most successful television series of all time: Game of Thrones. Without hesitation, Pascal also decided to appear at the casting because “I was a big fan. I read the script and it was amazing. Oberyn was about 30 years old, had eight daughters, was a womanizer. It was perfect for me!" he said on that occasion.

What he never saw coming is that not only would he keep the role, but from that moment on his discreet career would take a 180-degree turn, putting him in the spotlight and establishing him as one of the darling faces of Hollywood.

“It's very rare that you get the opportunity to play a character as powerful as mine in the series, a role that even the writers themselves love. Seven episodes were enough for my career to change completely,” he told us exclusively.

London was the perfect setting for us to meet the actor. That accessibility and charisma that radiates on screen, as well as on red carpets and galas, takes him beyond the spotlight, into his daily life. This makes him a peculiar guy and completely distinguishes him from many of his colleagues, who do not hesitate to climb onto the throne of divas.

Although perhaps this attitude is due to the fact that getting to where he is today was not an easy thing. His may seem like a story similar to that of many immigrants, and it was, at least in the beginning. During the first years of the Chilean military dictatorship, in 1976, his family went into exile in Denmark. A year later, his father received a job offer in the United States and so they arrived in North America. “I can tell you that being born in Chile helped me be who I am now. Having the perspective of another culture has always been something very special to me,” he says.

He grew from a child to a teenager as he moved between Texas and California. That was where he forged his childhood and personality, studying in public schools and waiting for the weekends to go with his father to San Antonio Spurs games and concerts, such as The Police. It was also thanks to his father that he discovered his greatest passion, cinema.

“He was an inveterate movie buff. One of the first movies I saw on the big screen was Superman. I remember going to the bathroom and when I came back I went into a different room. In the end, my parents found me asleep during the credits of Kramer vs. Kramer. My sister had to tell me what had happened in the superhero film and I did the same with the story of Dustin Hoffman and Meryl Streep,” he recalls with a laugh.

“Since we're talking about the histrionic section, which actor do you admire the most?” I ask him, and without hesitation, Pascal responds that he doesn't have one person he admires the most, “but I do have a list of people whose work I find phenomenal. I generally fall in love with interpretations. One of them is Philip Seymour Hoffman, one of the best of my generation and who was even like a father to a large community of my theatre friends in New York. Losing him was painful. Javier Bardem and Penélope Cruz are the most talented couple on the planet.”

Pedro Pascal's story becomes different when he begins to explore the world of acting. In the 90s, his family decided to return to Chile, but he chose to pursue his dream and enrol to study drama at the Orange County High School of the Arts and the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. When he took flight to try his luck in entertainment in more than one variant, he was a waiter in the Big Apple, in addition to scoring a job as an exotic dancer in Madrid, as he declared to an Iberian television space...

But that is only anecdotal, for bringing down from the cloud (back down to earth) those who believe that everything is easy in a great race. His film resume began to include series titles such as The Good Wife, Homeland and Graceland, until the great HBO production Game of Thrones came into his hands. We all know the rest.

Given the immensity of a shoot like this, we cannot miss the opportunity to question what has been the most demanding project to date. The answer surprises us: “Each job has its rigor, but Narcos was very particular because it was filmed on location and not on an air-conditioned set. That is why the series is great, because the character of the Colombian landscape, its people and its places cannot be replicated,” he reveals.

There is no doubt that his big break, in terms of global recognition, came with the Pablo Escobar story according to Netflix. Agent Peña made Pascal what is known as “a popular actor” of those that fans imitate and desire. But to his resume it is also necessary to add Agent Marcus Pike in The Mentalist, as well as the films The Great Wall (2016), where he shared credits with Matt Damon and Willem Dafoe, and Kingsman: The Golden Circle, one of the films which was highest grossing of 2017.

Continuing with his career, last July he released The Equalizer 2, where he appears alongside Denzel Washington. His character is a former member of the army and part of the special operations team, which required him to train with an FBI officer and sniper.

But let's stop talking about the past and focus on the future, which looks quite promising for Pedro: Triple Frontier, a new film for Netflix (named after the border between Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina) is one of the projects that brings under the arm and in which actors of the calibre of Ben Affleck, Oscar Isaac, Charlie Hunnam and Garrett Hedlund also participate; and, of course, we will also see him in the highly anticipated Wonder Woman 1984. Pascal had already worked before, on a project that never reached the production phase, with director Patty Jenkins. That's why they called him to be part of the cast. “I can't tell you much about it, only that it will be spectacular. “That's all!” he reveals with a laugh. The film, which promises to be a blockbuster at the box office, is scheduled to be released in the winter of 2019. 

“Since we are wandering in the field of comics, who is your favourite superhero?” I ask. “Batman! He's a temperamental bastard who doesn't follow the rules and who's also a millionaire," he replies. The Chilean also confesses to us that, in real life, his sister is his favourite heroine because "I wouldn't be where I am now if it weren't for her."

Thanks to this arduous schedule, there will be many red carpets that the actor will walk on between now and the end of next year. And that brings us to another chapter that he has had to write and that has to do with fashion. Pedro Pascal is one of the most scrutinized influencers today, he is one of those who are aware of the guidelines and follow them, but always with a personal note. There is also his presence in campaigns for brands in the luxury industry, such as now that he was signed by Cartier as their ambassador for one of their most precious pieces: the Santos watch.

“I am passionate about men's fashion. I have too many other vices for fashion to be one too (laughs), but it is a section that I deeply admire since it gives me the opportunity to express myself through it,” he clarifies. “I couldn't pass up the opportunity to represent a brand as beloved and elegant as Cartier, that's why I decided to accept this collaboration,” he continues.

But what are the elements that Santos and Pedro Pascal have in common? Without a hint of a doubt, the actor states that he would like to believe that it is as strong and elegant as said piece. “Watches are very symbolic and have different meanings for everyone. I like the individuality of wearing one. Maybe for someone it is the means to check the time, but for another it reminds them of that special person who gave it to them. It can express simplicity and extravagance, be barely noticeable or draw all the attention,” he shares. When talking about the basics of his closet, he says he is happy with an old pair of jeans and a T-shirt “that feels like pyjamas,” because he has learned from his characters that comfort is something basic.

Thanks to his origin, history and the way he conducts himself today, Pedro Pascal is a particular type, one of those that is rarely seen in the Mecca of Cinema.

Aficionado de Batman, amante de la moda masculina y de un buen reloj, la historia de Pedro Pascal es una de esas poco habituales en Hollywood. Lo cierto es que, a sus 43 años, el actor de origen chileno es uno de los más solicitados del momento. Para muestra está su agenda, repleta de eventos y lanzamientos de aquí a finales de 2019 (la secuela de Wonder Woman entre ellos), y, por supuesto, su reciente asociación con Cartier. 

Cuando estaba por cumplir 40 años, Pedro Pascal decidió ayudar a un estudiante de teatro que ensayaba para una audición, según lo narró el chileno al presentador Seth Meyers en The Late Night Show. Se trataba de un personaje de nombre Oberyn Martell, el cual formaría parte de la cuarta temporada de una de las series de televisión más exitosas de todos los tiempos: Game of Thrones. Sin dudarlo, Pascal decidió también presentarse al casting pues “era un gran fan. Leí el guion y era asombroso. Oberyn tenía cerca de 30 años, ocho hijas, era un mujeriego. ¡Era perfecto para mí!”, aseguró en aquella ocasión. Lo que nunca vio venir es que no sólo se quedaría con el papel, sino que a partir de ese momento su discreta trayectoria daría un vuelco de 180 grados, poniéndolo en el candelero e instalándolo como uno de los rostros consentidos de Hollywood. “Es muy raro que llegue a tus manos la oportunidad de interpretar a un personaje tan poderoso como el mío en la serie, un papel que incluso los propios escritores aman. Bastaron siete episodios para que mi carrera cambiara completamente”, nos aseguró en exclusiva.

Londres fue el escenario perfecto para que nos encontráramos con el actor. Esa accesibilidad y carisma que irradia en la pantalla, así como en las alfombras rojas y galas, las lleva más allá de los reflectores, a su día a día. Esto lo convierte en un tipo peculiar y lo distingue por completo de muchos de sus colegas, quienes no dudan en treparse en el trono de divos. Aunque quizás esta actitud se deba a que llegar a donde se encuentra hoy en día no fue cosa sencilla. La suya puede parecer una historia similar a la de muchos inmigrantes, y lo fue, al menos en los inicios. Durante los primeros años de la dictadura militar chilena, en 1976, su familia partió al exilio en Dinamarca. Un año después, su padre recibió una oferta de trabajo en Estados Unidos y así llegaron a Norteamérica. “Te puedo decir que haber nacido en Chile me ayudó a ser quien soy ahora. Tener la perspectiva de otra cultura siempre ha sido algo muy especial para mí”, declara. Pasó de niño a adolescente mientras se movía entre Texas y California.

Ahí fue donde forjó su infancia y personalidad, estudiando en colegios públicos y esperando los fines de semana para ir con su padre a los partidos de los San Antonio Spurs y a conciertos, como el The Police. Fue también gracias a su papá que descubrió su más grande pasión, el cine. “Él era un cinéfilo empedernido. Una de las primeras cintas que vi en la pantalla grande fue Superman. Recuerdo que fui al baño y al regresar me metí a una sala diferente. Al final, mis padres me encontraron dormido durante los créditos de Kramer vs Kramer. Mi hermana me tuvo que contar lo que había ocurrido en el filme del superhéroe y yo hice lo propio con la historia de Dustin Hoffman y Meryl Streep”, rememora entre carcajadas. “Ya que tocamos el apartado histriónico, ¿a qué actor admiras más?”, le pregunto, y sin dudarlo, Pascal responde que no tiene una persona a la que admire más, “pero sí una lista de personas cuyo trabajo me parece fenomenal. Generalmente me enamoro de interpretaciones. Uno de ellos es Philip Seymour Hoffman, uno de los mejores de mi generación y quien incluso fue como un padre para una gran comunidad de amigos míos del teatro de Nueva York. Perderlo fue doloroso. Javier Bardem y Penélope Cruz son la pareja más talentosa sobre el planeta”. 

El relato de Pedro Pascal se hace diferente cuando empieza a conducirse por el mundo de la actuación. En los años 90, su familia decidió volver a Chile, pero él optó por perseguir su sueño y matricularse para estudiar arte dramático en la Orange County High School of the Arts y la Tisch School of the Arts de la New York University. Cuando emprendió vuelo para probar fortuna en eso del espectáculo en más de una variante, fue camarero en la Gran Manzana, además de anotarse un empleo como bailarín exótico en Madrid, según ha declarado a un espacio televisivo ibérico… Pero eso es sólo anecdótico, para bajar de la nube a quienes crean que todo es fácil en una gran carrera. Su currículum fílmico comenzó a anotarse títulos de series como The Good Wife, Homeland y Graceland, hasta que llegó a sus manos la gran producción de HBO Juego de Tronos. El resto, lo conocemos todos. Ante la inmensidad de un rodaje como éste, no podemos dejar pasar la oportunidad de cuestionarlo cuál ha sido el proyecto más demandante a la fecha. La respuesta nos sorprende: “Cada trabajo tiene su rigor, pero Narcos fue muy particular porque se rodó en locaciones y no en un set con aire acondicionado. Es por eso que la serie es grandiosa, porque el carácter del paisaje colombiano, su gente y sus lugares no se pueden replicar”, revela.

No hay duda de que su gran oportunidad, en términos de reconocimiento global, llegó con la historia de Pablo Escobar según Netflix. El agente Peña hizo de Pascal lo que se conoce como “un actor popular” de esos que imitan y desean los y las fans. Pero a su hoja de vida también es necesario sumar al agente Marcus Pike en The Mentalist, así como los filmes La gran muralla (2016), donde compartió créditos con Matt Damon y Willem Dafoe, y Kingsman: El círculo dorado, una de las películas más taquilleras de 2017. Siguiendo con su carrera, el pasado julio estrenó The Equalizer 2, donde aparece junto a Denzel Washington. Su personaje es un soldado ex miembro de la armada y parte del equipo de operaciones especiales, lo que le exigió entrenar con un oficial y francotirador del FBI.

Pascal ya había trabajado antes, en un proyecto que nunca llegó a la fase de producción, con la directora Patty Jenkins. Por ahí vino el que lo llamaran para ser parte del elenco. “No les puedo decir mucho al respecto, sólo que será espectacular. ¡Eso es todo!”, nos revela entre risas. La película, que promete ser un trancazo en taquilla, está prevista para ser estrenada en el invierno de 2019. “Ya que deambulamos en el terreno de los cómics, ¿quién es tu superhéroe favorito?”, lo cuestiono. “¡Batman! Es un bastardo temperamental que no sigue las reglas y que además es millonario”, responde. El chileno nos confiesa también que, en la vida real, su hermana es su heroína favorita pues “no estaría donde estoy ahora si no fuera por ella”.

Gracias a esta agenda tan ardua, serán muchas las alfombras rojas que el actor pisará de aquí a finales del próximo año. Y eso nos lleva a otro capítulo que le ha tocado escribir y que tiene que ver con la moda. Pedro Pascal es uno de los influenciadores más escrutados en la actualidad, es de los que están al tanto de las pautas y las siguen, pero siempre con una nota personal. También está su presencia en campañas de marcas de la industria del lujo, como ahora que fue fichado por Cartier como su embajador para una de sus piezas más preciadas: el reloj Santos. “Me apasiona la moda masculina. Tengo muchos otros vicios como para que la moda lo sea también (ríe), pero es un apartado que admiro profundamente ya que me da la oportunidad de expresarme a través de él”, nos aclara. “No podía dejar pasar la oportunidad de representar una marca tan querida y elegante como Cartier, por eso decidí aceptar esta colaboración”, continúa. Pero, ¿cuáles son los elementos que tienen en común el Santos y Pedro Pascal? Sin un atisbo de duda, el histrión asevera que le gustaría creer que es tan fuerte y elegante como dicha pieza. “Los relojes son muy simbólicos y tienen significados diferentes para cada quien. Me gusta la individualidad de usar uno. Tal vez para alguien es el medio para consultar la hora, pero a otro le recuerda a esa persona especial que se lo regaló. Puede expresar simplicidad y extravagancia, ser apenas perceptible o llamar toda la atención”, nos comparte. Al hablar sobre los básicos de su armario, se dice conforme con un viejo par de jeans y una T-shirt “que se sienta como si fuera pijama”, pues de sus personajes ha aprendido que la comodidad es algo básico.

Gracias a su origen, historia y la forma en que se conduce hoy en día, Pedro Pascal es un tipo particular, de esos que pocas veces se ven en La Meca del Cine.

Rebecca's interview with a high profile magazine has consequences.

Chapter 1

Rebecca Welton has emerged from the darkness. Following her divorce from Rupert Manion she has taken the reins at Richmond and transformed the club. We talk to her about her journey so far, and her dreams for the future. 

"Let’s be clear, I didn't want to be the owner of a football club. I was damaged and hurting following the divorce and I childishly wanted to make Rupert suffer. That was the original reason for hiring Coach Lasso." She shrugged at the admission. "But I've come along way since then. Ted Lasso actually saved me from destroying everything. He's such a positive force - he's made the team and the whole club better both together and individually and he's such an inspiring figure at the club. The players have really leaned into his leadership style. We play with our hearts, we'd prefer not to bully the players." An arched eyebrow is the only hint of this dig at her former husband's team and ownership style. 

Keeley sat back in her chair wide eyed. The advanced copy of Rebecca's Vogue UK interview had just landed. The photoshoot was planned for later that day and Keeley had wanted to reassure Rebecca that the interview had gone well. She forwarded the email with a quick "Hi babe, fuckin smashed it! ❤️" and got back to work. 

Across town, Rebecca settled down with a cup of tea and the last of the pink box biscuits from that morning. Keeley's email was open on her screen. She hadn't realised just how effusive she'd been in her praise of Ted. He'd come up multiple times in the interview. The interviewer had even said "Once again, Rebecca glows at the mention of her head coach" Shit. She really needed to have a conversation with him before the interview was released. But first, the photoshoot called. She was ready to be primped and preened. 

"Hey there boss!" Ted called cheerfully through her open door. Rebecca slammed the laptop shut. 

"Ted. I'm just off out actually. It's the photoshoot for the interview I did last week."

"Oooh, time to get your gladrags on! I should get Keeley to book me in with GQ or some other fancy publication." He held up her coat before she'd even reached for it. 

"Anything to get you out of those bloody khakis, Ted" Rebecca laughed. His hand stuttered whilst straightening her collar and brushed against the side of her neck. She shivered, internally cursing both her ill thought out comment and her reaction to his interpretation. Getting a hold of herself, she took a step closer to the door and away from Ted.

"I'll have you know that these are the height of fashion." He said with a smirk she certainly hasn't expected. "You have a good time. You deserve to get away from here for a few hours."

"Was there something you needed?"

"Nothing that can't wait. Go enjoy yourself."

She'd practically been poured into the golden Dolce and Gabbana gown. The heavy material clung to her like a second skin.

"You look amazing Rebecca, could you take another step up and then look to your right please?" the photographer directed the shoot, assistants scrambled around to arrange the train of the dress. "Lift one leg to the next step?" she dutifully obliged. "That's it, that's the money shot right there. Fantastic, next outfit please team." The photographer snapped a final photo on her phone as well, "I'll text you that one!" The dresses were incredible, each outfit change boosted her confidence and the all female team was so much fun, it hardly felt like work. She pinged the staircase photo to Keeley and stepped into a pair of lack platform shoes while the team helped her into a lime green Carolina Herrera skirt. By 8pm, she was exhausted and starving. Keeley had sent a million messages - mostly about how turned on she was.

At the Crown and Anchor, Beard peered over his pint. 

"Did you see the picture of the boss that Keeley was showing around?" 

"I did not." Ted didn't look up from the newspaper where images of Rupert and New Rebecca were plastered celebrating their baby's birthday/christening/existence. He wasn't sure which. Beard stayed silent until Ted met his eyes and then responded with a long whistle. 

"You're going to be in trouble."

"How so my hirsute friend?"

"Because while I'd admit that you're doing admirably so far in pushing down any feelings you're feeling, you will not be able to stop your face from doing that thing it does when you see this picture. And I daresay the rest if this one is anything to go by."

"Numero uno, I don't know what you're talking about. Numero duo. Dos? Two. My face does not do a thing."

"It does a thing. Kinda like the heart eyes emoji."

"Thanks for the concern but I personally think my eyes are more like the star eyes emoji where the boss is concerned. As in, she's a cool cucumber."

"And you dig it."

"And I dig it." Ted agreed looking back down at the paper, "you're a jerk. I didn't mean that."

"Uhuh. Tell that to your face. Think you could grow a full beard to hide it by tomorrow? It hides a multitude of sins."

"Except the eyes."

"You do have beautiful eyes Coach." Beard downed the remaining pint.

"Thanks Coach."

Behind the shoot: Tertius Bune on Benedict Cumberbatch and Alice Eve

"It's photographer Tertius Bune's longstanding friendship with British Actor, Benedict Cumberbatch that was the catalyst behind their seminal photoshoot for the latest issue of GQ Style. Shot on Los Angeles' iconic Mulholland Drive we see Cumberbatch and his Star Trek Into Darkness co-star Alice Eve transformed into a modern day Bonnie and Clyde.

His relationship with Cumberbatch is demonstrated through a truly unique and unfiltered way of representing his friend.

"I do believe I can cast him in a light that shows him as he ultimately is," Bune says of the actor. "I'm talking about his versatility as a human being."

In fact the shoot is testament to the spontaneity that comes from real friendship - an invitation to stay for a few days in LA provided all the inspiration Bune needed. "It was such an amazing time…but most importantly to witness this truly awesome moment in Benedict's career. Such a gift to be able to share that with him".

Here Bune talks to GQ Style about what it is like to photograph your best friend and the inspiration behind his take on the American Road Trip…

GQ Style: Tell us about your shoot with Benedict Cumberbatch. Where were you?

Tertius Bune: I had come to L.A. for a couple of shoots whilst Benedict was promoting a movie. Benedict invited me to stay with him at his house in Venice Beach. I met Alice the first night I arrived while at an Oscars party. The three of us just clicked. As we all hung out in the following weeks, I thought to myself; here they are after over ten years from first meeting and working together, both of their careers had really picked up steam in the prior few years. This is where the inspiration for the story came. Benedict and Alice both seemed to be grabbing or if you will, "stealing" all these roles in Hollywood. The story was shot on Mulholland Drive, a road in L.A. that has a certain outlaw quality and history to it.

We understand that you and Benedict are old friends - is there a particular trick to shooting someone you know so well?

Yes, Benedict and I have known each other since I was six and he eight years old. There is no particular trick to photographing someone you've known your whole life but I do believe I can cast him in a different light due to the fact that I know him as well as I do. This shoot in particular I wanted to show his edgier side. Which is not something I contrived, he has it.

"I see the media painting Benedict as the proper British boy (yes this is part of him), but he has a vast range. And I'm not just talking about acting or character range."

Arty-Fact: "It was the late spring of 2001 when I met Angelina Jolie’s famous make-up artist, Paul Starr, on a shoot for 'Interview Magazine' in New York. He asked me if I had ever worked with Iman, another client of his, and suggested that he would take my portfolio over to her house, just a few blocks down the street from my studio.

“The next day, Iman called me on the phone and said that she wanted to meet me and talk about a project. I was very excited to see the legendary supermodel in-person and was anxious to hear what she had in mind. When she arrived at the studio, I was shocked that she was even more stunning than the photos. She was very complimentary of my work and explained that she had been working on her first book, 'I Am Iman'. She had contributions from virtually every great fashion photographer in the world already, from Helmut Newton to Steven Meisel, but she wanted me to shoot the cover of the book. I couldn't be more flattered, but also felt the pressure to create something amazing with her. We scheduled the shoot for the following week.” ~ Markus Klinko

Fashion photography is something I have always loved, from buying fashion magazines such as vouge, GQ and Elle. Photography has always been something I have loved, and I take my camera everywhere I go, taking photos of anything I find aesthetically pleasing.   I have always wanted to learn more about photography and experience working in a studio setting to reach my goal of getting into fashion photography as a career therefore I applied for this HND course.  

My goal for my personal project is to create a strong fashion editorial of 10 images that I am proud of, as well as gaining new skills and confidence in the studio and strengthening my skills in photoshop when optimizing my images. I really like the way Jack bridgland works as he gets his inspiration by taking scenes from the cartoon The Looney Tunes and colours from sweety wrappers to create his inspiring editorial images, however I will be taking a slightly different approach as each image will be inspired by snippets out of 10 different cartoons (Barbie, Tom& Jerry, The Flintstones, Micky mouse, Loony Tunes, Betty Boop, SpongeBob, Scooby doo, Fairy Odd Parents, Garfield). Lara likes the collaborative aspect of her job as it takes more than one creative mind to create these amazing images, I also like the team behind creating fashion images such as hairstylist, makeup artists, set designers and many more, this helps build up your contacts for future shoots. I will be working with a hairstylist and makeup artists to complete my personal project. Nick Knights approach to fashion photography is more fine art than most other fashion photographers, I like this aspect as it shows fashion as an art rather than a product. I plan to optimise my images that look more structured as I am trying to create a character rather than promoting a specific product like Nick Night.    

I feel my target market for these images would be best in a fashion magazine or online publication as they will strongly apply to the fashion industry and could potentially be Commercial images for fashion brands. In order to work for a fashion magazine company, you must have a strong portfolio of work that relates to their style.

henrycavill well the cats out of the bag... not the way we intended to tell you guys which is a shame. We are very sad that this is the way you all had to find out. With both of our jobs being very demanding (we love them nonetheless and are very grateful) we don’t often get to spend time with each other so wanted some time just to ourselves, we wanted to share this amazing relationship with all of our fans when were ready but unfortunately that opportunity was taken from us. We hope you can understand: you all are very important to the both of us and we truly did want to share this with you, but both got a bit too caught up with having each other to ourselves. These photos were taken by one of our mutual friends whilst we were on holiday and were leaked from our phones. I am so shocked that they even managed to do this but I will not let them get anymore attention than that.

I sometimes feel like a bad fan or something because some things that others freak out over I’m sort of meh on. Similar to my feelings on his Dazed magazine shoot, this Vogue+ shoot is definitely not one of my faves. He looks amazing but it’s just not for me, I guess. I prefer the GQ shoot he did last year

I don't think it makes you a bad fan. Everyone has different tastes. I love any and all shoots we get from him, but I agree, something about last years GQ hit different. For me, it was because that seemed so intimate and personal. These photos for Vogue+ are theatrical and more about putting on a character than actually showing us Tim and his inner life. I love the rawness of GQ. Those were real. These are make believe.

Hey! Saw your tags about the spiderman twinning in prada fit and yes it's real! The Andrew Garfield photo is from a GQ shoot - you can find it just by googling Andrew Garfield GQ - and the Tom Holland is from Late Night with Seth Meyers. I watched the video to confirm it was his actual fit! Going by the dates, Garfield's interview was published in November and Holland's interview was in December so did Holland know what he was doing???? maybe???????

That’s amazing! I knew the Garfield one was real but was suspicious about the Tom Holland one, cut-and-pasting his head would’ve been so easy haha. Thanks for letting me know!

Masked Singer Season 5 Episode 3 Recap: Group A Returns With a Wildcard (Commentary & Guesses)

Hi guys! Welcome or welcome back to Ana’s Masked Singer recap, where I, Ana, recap every single episode of The Masked Singer. Ok, so I'm on time this time I swear (I try to do these the weekend after the show airs or Friday), and now we are starting to get the wildcards which was super exciting and Joel Mchale was guest judging so it was a very fun episode to watch! We’re back onto Group A but this time someone new joins the group, so stay tuned until the end to talk about that someone. Anyways, let’s get into it, starting with the eliminated contestant:

So the eliminated mask was...

The Raccoon 🦝

Commentary: honestly, I am not even the slightest bit surprised that he got eliminated... he should have gone home earlier but that’s neither here nor there, the Masked Singer likes to do that to us so whatever. But like honestly this is gonna sound mean, and look, not everyone is a singer, and he gave it the good old college try and I respect the hell out of that, but omg all I gotta say about his performance of Ring of Fire by Johnny Cash is yikes. That’s it, that’s all I gotta say about that... anyways, let’s reveal this rodent or mammal, idk man who told you guys I was an animal expert?!

Raccoon was revealed to be (I got this one too yay!)

Danny Trejo

Yeah, I guessed it baby! I even have proof, just look at my 1st recap of the season and it’s there, I got it! Yayyy! Anyways, I mean I know him, I have seen him around ofc (he has done a lot of acting and he even has a restaurant and everything), but like he can’t sing and that’s ok, he had fun, it’s what matters. Good job Danny Trejo and thank God he’s gone because finally my ears can be in peace.

Having said that, let’s move onto our remaining 4 (yes, 4 because wildcard baby!):

1. Seashell 🐚

Commentary: Her performance of Confident by Demi Lovato was to me much better than her last performance. It seemed like she was more confident (hehe no pun intended) in this one, kind of came into her own and let out the power in her voice. She was a bit timid and nervous in the first performance and it kind of reminded me of how Jellyfish started out, but this one was a lot more diva and powerful, I enjoyed it a lot. I really love Seashell, she is quickly becoming one of my favorite contestants (except nobody can beat my favorite who you will see in a moment)

I am doubling down on my guess:

Tamera Mowry

Clues/Reasoning: ok, like this one I feel super confident about and the clues kind of seal the deal for me:

The doodle of “Seashell with the shell mask on”= reference to the intro of Sister Sister

A certain shell man asked her out and the baseball on the screen= she is talking about her husband, Fox News correspondent Adam Housley (which btw is another reason why she is on this show, bc it runs in the Fox family), who used to be a professional baseball player (oh and the required her to do things she was scared of means that he helped her feel more comfortable about being on TV aka when she was on the Real)

2 minute stopwatch= she’s older than her twin sister, Tia, by 2 minutes haha 😂 (this was a very weird thing to be like yeah bro ik that... again I say, Google is a magical thing)

2. Robopine 🦔

Commentary: He sang All of Me by John Legend and honestly song choice was 👌, like I would have picked that for him too. It was absolutely stunning and I can just close my eyes and enjoy the song, which that’s what some of the best ballad performances tend to do. I absolutely loved it, he is my favorite, if you can’t tell, and this was my favorite performance of the night. I have a prediction that Robopine might make it to the finals honestly because he is just that amazing.

I am changing my guess and I am more confident now with:

Tyrese Gibson

Reasoning/Clues: alright so I know that he isn’t 60 but I have a feeling he is lying about that and that he’s from Costa Rica (that’s too direct of a clue to be true you know and I feel like he is lying... Ken did say in the beginning that Robopine is the most confusing, so I do think that he is lying)... anyways clue time:

A lot of superhero clues= he will be playing one in Jared Leto’s Morbius film from Marvel

The lying means something = he has an album called Alter Ego, someone in the YouTube comments told me that he did a shoot with GQ called “60 the new 30” so that’s where the age thing might come from

IT SOUNDS A LOT LIKE HIM, OK?! Legit this is the most logic bomb I can give you right here... he’s trying to fool us but the voice is what matters... if you wanna compare voices go ahead, here’s a video that can help (it helped me even though the background singers kinda took over, but you get the point, it was live)

3. Russian Dolls 🪆

Commentary: THEY DIVIDEDDDDD... omg there’s 3 now! I FREAKING CALLED IT!! Anyways, they sang Wonder by Shawn Mendes and again I say their harmonies are so on point, it’s fantastic! I throughly enjoyed this performance, it was great! Their voices work really great together (ofc duh because they are a band... they have to be) and it was a really great song choice as well.

Again, I am gonna double down here (and them being 3 makes it even more convincing for me):

Hanson (All 3 of them this time)

Reasoning/Clues: ok, so now that there’s 3 of them, I don’t have to sound dumb and be like ummmmm it’s 2 of the Hanson brothers, which two I am not sure, but two of them. This time I can say it is all of Hanson, all 3 of them! WOOO! This performance really solidified it for me. Anyways, here are the logic bombs aka clues:

He was doing what he loved and rushed to the hospital = Zac, one of the brothers, was involved in a motorcycle accident in which he (get this, it’s really bad like reading it on Google made me go ouch that must have been a terrible accident) broke three ribs, his collarbone, and scapula.

The fire truck= the fire department was involved in the accident, which he spoke about in October 2019

4. Surprise! It’s Wildcard Time: Introducing the Orca (whale) 🐳

Commentary: ok, so he performed We’re Not Gonna Take It by Twisted Sister, and it was meh, it was ok. He sounds like a comedian, and his voice is so familiar, it’s killing me. Anyways, he is talk singing the entire time and there are parts where he sounds out of breath, so I don’t think he is a professional singer. The costume though (since I couldn’t really review that beforehand) looks like a pool floatie on top and a blue version of Banana from season 3 from the chest down, which is kind of cool (I would give it a 8/10 if I were to rate it). I really love that top head part, it looks super great, the costume designers killed it.

Ok, this one I am more unsure about but I am gonna say that I am between these 2:

Bill Burr or Adam Sandler

(Burr is the one pictured below, couldn’t put both images because Tumblr doesn’t let me do more than 10 pictures so just pretend you can also see Adam Sandler’s photo)

Reasoning/Clues: I am gonna have to skip this one... because I am not sure about this one, I am just going off of voice, the clues confuse me, but you have any ideas, feel free to comment them please, I need all the help I can get.

So it was true. I'm not posting the quotes here (I'll link the posts with them below) but to generalize this is a girl that claims to be shy and doesn’t like to party and doesn’t drink to have a good time because it makes her really sleepy and she’s just so boring she says and blah, blah blah. She sucks people in with these statements are herself that makes people like her. It's not just about drinking and getting drunk but everything. Nothing about her is genuine in any shape or form. She is a fraud.

In a recent interview for Wonderland Magazine Emma admitted like she always has which has been one big lie that she's boring and doesn't like being the center of attention.

So in her Wonderland magazine Emma says she shy, socially awkward and a introverted person. For some reason I don't believe her. There are certain things about her that leads me to believe she is not shy or the least bit introverted. The first part of this question asked her straight out as she ever wanted to go off the rails and get drunk and she talked about getting a tattoo but never fully answered that question. The follow up question which is split below in two parts was, "But you’re not as puritanical as that, Emma" So let's look at some thing 1.) For years Emma has said she was shy. From topcelebrityheadlines.com June 2011, "I’m shy." From zimbio.com May 2011, "It's really hard to have a love story for me. I'm a famous actress. And I'm shy." From digitalspy.com October 2010, "Actually, I'm quite shy. I've never liked attention." From iheartwatson.net June 2011 “I still feel shy, but I feel more like I can accept it.” Her come hither looks which I limited for space reasons. There are many and I left out new ones from the Noah premiere. This is not a trait of shy and introverted people.

I doubt a truly shy and introverted people are going to say they'll strip to gain approval for anything. From mtv.com November 2010 (NYC Deathly Hallows) When we caught up with Watson just before she ducked into the theater, we informed her that 90 percent of our viewers had given her wardrobe choice — a specially made Calvin Klein gown — an enthusiastic thumbs-up in an MTV News online poll "Awww, really? Wow, that's such a high percentage!" she exclaimed. "Wow, I aced it, obviously. That's great." While 90 percent is definitely a high number, what might she do in order to get the full 100 percent of viewers' approval? "I don't know, take it off?" she quipped. Then there is her modeling which doesn't strike me as someone that is shy or introverted.

So shy and introverted she can tell a radio host some guy thinks she looks good naked From nudography.com 2008 'Harry Potter' film actress Emma Watson has said she would do a nude scene in a future film or stage role if the script called for it. Watson got on the topic of getting naked on BBC's Live Five radio "I think it's wonderful that Daniel is willing to be so brave for his craft. It's a big risk doing something like this while being so internationally known, but he's a true professional". When asked if she would ever bare all for her art, Watson replied, "Yes, absolutely. I would do it if the script called for it. I guess I would be a little nervous, but I've been told I look good naked, so I guess I've got little to worry about". When Shaffer asked Watson who thinks she looks good naked, she playfully said, "Now, now! I won't say. But I trust his expert opinion." Then there is her attention seeking along with her sultry poses and outfits she sometimes wears. Below is a series of photos from the Cannes for TBR. Everyone is walking up the steps arm and arm but Emma stops to grab the spotlight. Once she takes the arm of a cast mate she can't stop turning around smiling, giggling and waving. Once she gets to the top she hooting and hollering and then blows a series of kisses as her cast mates walk inside. This is not someone that is shy and introverted.

Claiming she wished she did more naughty things is yet another example of what a shy and introverted person would not say. From harrypotterfan.net Nov 2010, "I wished I’d done more naughty things. Three months ago I cut my hair and at that moment I felt I became a woman. I’m ready to start taking risks. I feel less girlish than ever." ... cough ... cough... From emma-watson.net September 2013 (GQ awards), “Given the perilousness in the journey from child star to adult, any award with ‘Woman’ in the title is frankly a relief!” <---- thought she, "I’ve never been in a terrible rush to be seen as a woman.” Then there is the choices of some of her outfits. If you're shy and introverted you're not going to show some flesh and you're certainly not going to show some flesh on TV or at a strip club. The last thing you want to do is draw attention to yourself. You'd be more than happy to dress modestly. There are just a few and I limited them for space reason as well. I left out her recent plunging neckline outfit from the Noah premiere in Madrid and many others like her famed 2009 HBP premiere wardrobe malfunction outfit.

From Elle magazine April 2011 iheartwatson.net, "Does having short hair make you dress differently? ’I think it’s made me bolder in my fashion choices. It’s allowed me to dress more sexily.’” cough ... cough... From omg.yahoo.com W magazine May 2013, “I’ve never wanted to grow up too fast: I wanted to wear a sports bra until I was 22! The allure of being sexy never really held any excitement for me. I’ve never been in a terrible rush to be seen as a woman.” Never heard of a shy and introverted person want o dress more sexually because of a haircut. Then there is her constant blowing of kisses which she does a lot of which all the classic pin ups like Marilyn Monroe ands other used to do. I guess it has nothing to do with shyness but introverted people are not going to go around blowing kisses at people or into the camera.

Then there are moments like this. Who does this? Shy and introverted? I think not. This is begging for attention and just plain weird.

Blowing kisses, posing, giving that sultry look and just enjoying all the attention is not the trait of a shy and introverted person.

Now the only thing I believe her on is the socially awkward part.

Now to the second part of that quote 2.) "At a big party, I’m like Bambie in the headlights. It’s too much stimulation for me, which is why I end up going to the bathroom! I need time outs! You’ve seen me at parties, Derek. I get anxious. I’m terrible at small talk and I have a ridiculously short attention span." I doubt this is true. She loves to be the center of attention on red carpets. She loves the attention. So why would parties be any different? At Coachella (bottom left photo) she was moshing at some points on stage.

This video shows her dancing on stage but there is another I lost of a video shooting down from the stage over Emma's head and you can see she's in plain view of the thousands in attendance. When I find it I'll post it. Shy and introverted people that can't take all the stimulation like she says would not put themselves out there amongst strangers and onlookers. If so, what kind of shy and introverted person is that? People are like, 'What do you mean she's not available?' This college experience is really important to me, and I won't give it up." And yet it was not about roles at all two years ago. Chapter five

Oh how I detest when the imaginary people that live in my head will not cooperate.

This is part the fifth. No, I do not have ANY idea how many parts there might be. Nope. i couldn’t tell you when the smut will be, only that there will be smut. So, Usual warnings, 18 and over, please and thank you. Adult themes, adult concepts, BDSM and all that, so if you don’t like those sorts of things, run away.

Days pass. I go to work, do my thing, help a friend through a rough spot, and find myself reading entertainment industry sites.  Can you roll your eyes at yourself? Is that internal, or is there a facial expression that accompanies that action?

I deduce he's in Hungary, try and fail to calculate the difference in time ( I have always sucked at time mathematics) and while I know there's an app for that, I have no idea what a production schedule looks like, or what a typical day might be, or if there even is such a thing. I send an email to the Solicitors General and suggest that email may be a temporary solution, given scheduling constraints, and make a call.

"Benji! I am so glad I caught you! You aren't currently dressing anyone fun? ...Not that you can tell me at the moment.....did you ever get contact information for who did those designs for Patti Lupone in Ryan Murphy's Hollywood? I know!!!! "We both squealed. "She looked AMAZING ! "We said practically in unison. "So do you have a few minutes? Can I pick your brain? What does a typical day look like for a principal, on location?"

I took notes. Good intelligence and reconnaissance is always important. Turns out there isn't any typical. It seldom what they need to shoot, what got screwed up, what requires different angles, or lighting, or even who needs to be worked around. Maybe the horse is having a bad day.

Maybe I could find out what his interests were, what he'd done, what worked, what didn't, what he wanted, see if he'd read anything, if he needed to unlearn any foolishness, and in the mean time, I'd do my best to keep my mind from wandering off on tangents about hoping he was switchy. That maybe he wanted to feel what it was like to not be in control, or there were sensations he was very interested in exploring.

Oh, I'd very  much like to restrain him, and tease him. If love to see what sorts of noises he might make.... Moans? Growls? Threats? Promises of retaliation? Sharp intakes of breath?  I wondered how fun it might be to edge....see how close I could get him to cumming, and then stop. With my hands, or my mouth, show him what a woman with very little gag reflex is capable of. Or slow down, or change gears, How many times could I do that, I mean before he exploded?

Part of me KNOWS that he is busy, working. But the asshole who lives in my head cannot resist the opportunity for a stroll around my neuroses. He's not going to contact you..... Because LOOK AT YOU.  It's good that you're funny. At least you have that. You had your few minutes. Be grateful for the call and the laughs that you got. It'll never be anything more. Don't kid yourself  loser.

And can we just talk about THAT for a minute? As someone who spends a bit of time in the public eye, granted a different public, but still.. and who had gotten misquoted and had it taken out of context and then there was a shit storm, you completely understood where that whole debacle had come from. His parents raised him and his brothers to be gentlemen. If he ever even did anything that would make his mother wince, he wouldn't be able to live with himself.

And we’re not talking about “ alternative” sexual activities between consenting adults, right?  We’re talking about actual consent violations, Harvey Weinstein stuff, the things that make you need a Silkwood shower.  He likes wooing women, loves flirting, enjoys that whole interplay, but in the current climate he could see where there might be a potential mine field.

He’s famous. Why do you think he had to have you sign a non disclosure that was binding three generations forward? As in your great grandchildren, yet unborn, couldn’t talk about this? There are people who look for an easy out, sell their stories to tabloids. I mean that triad, where one of them was a fucking sex doll? And they ( they other two ) talked about her ( I am assuming her gender pronouns based upon her looks and I shouldn’t, but as the doll is mute, cannot verbalize any other preference) as though the doll were an actual third party in the relationship WHO WAS AN ACTIVE PARTICIPANT.

And when people started talking about it on social media, had all the nerve to be offended that misconceptions were being fostered. Darlings, YOU gave the interview to the tabloid.

So he said ““There’s something wonderful about a man chasing a woman,” he said. “There’s a traditional approach to that, which is nice. I think a woman should be wooed and chased, but maybe I’m old-fashioned for thinking that.”Cavill went on, saying, “It’s very difficult to do that if there are certain rules in place. Because then it’s like: ‘Well, I don’t want to go up and talk to her, because I’m going to be called a rapist or something.’ So you’re like, ‘Forget it, I’m going to call an ex-girlfriend instead, and then just go back to a relationship, which never really worked,’” he said. “But it’s way safer than casting myself into the fires of hell, because I’m someone in the public eye, and if I go and flirt with someone, then who knows what’s going to happen? Now? Now you really can’t pursue someone further than, ‘No.’ It’s like, ‘O.K., cool.’ But then there’s the, ‘Oh why’d you give up?’ And it’s like, ‘Well, because I didn’t want to go to jail?’”

And I can see that he’s a ) old school and loves women

In order to silence the asshole that lives in my head, I researched. There’s not a lot of anything about  this man to be found on the interwebs. Pictures, Photo shoots, Ad campaigns, that horrid GQ Australia interview.

I can also see that he has no idea what the “ new rules are” if one could actually put words in his mouth.

And he thinks that it would be easier to go back to someone he already had a ‘ relationship ‘ with because it’s a known commodity, even if it didn’t work.

And you can’t fault him for THAT, we’ve all done it.

Oh come on, show of hands, everyone that had sex with an ex because you really needed sex and the battery operated boyfriend was not cutting it.

Harry Styles sumptuous new video for Lights Up took the world by storm last week. Exclusively for GQ, the young, half-American, half-British designer Harris Reed shares the inner workings of how Styles’ killer blue outfit for the brand-new solo song came together...

If you know about Harris Reed, you know. And if you don't? Well, keep up at the back. Reed is one of fashion's most exciting new talents, his designs lauded for their sparkly romance, their craft and unbridled otherworldliness. Reed came to GQ's attention a couple of years ago while he was still at Central Saint Martins, his designs already imbued with a silhouette that was both modern and nostalgic, all washed with an achingly cool, non-binary LA energy: his aesthetic has darkness, light, glamour and a non-threatening sense of their own sexiness. His designs aren't just gender-fluid, they're like wearing liquid gold.

Fashion's worst-kept secret is the fact that Reed has been working with Harry Styles for a couple of years now, making one-off outfits for the singer's spectacular stage shows and offering the musician looks that seem in harmony with his renewed sense of self and megawatt style. Last week, when Styles' lascivious, wonton, sweaty and damn good new song, "Lights Up", was blasted out into the world, we noticed it was one of Reed's bespoke designs that the artist had decided to wear for his second solo jaunt. As the video caught fire and went global, we called the ever-charming Reed to talk to him about working with Styles, how the outfit for "Lights Up" came about exactly and just how far he thinks Styles is willing to go with his new covetable gender-blurring aesthetic...

GQ: Hey Harris, nice talking to you again. How's it going?

Harris Reed: "Well, I have a stinking cold, which is the worst. Especially when you are supposed to be working and selling a collection, it can seem like it's ruining your life. But it's OK, I will get through it."

Congratulations on your design for Harry Styles' outfit for "Lights Up". You must be thrilled?

"Thank you, I am really happy. And it's cute as well that Harry made his little icon photo on Instagram an image of the outfit from the video. Quite pleased to say the least."

When did you first start working with Harry Styles?

"My big connect with Harry goes back to Harry Lambert, his stylist, who was the first person I ever worked with and the first person who pulled in any of my clothes years ago. I had that relationship with him starting about two years ago and after a while [Lambert] told me, 'I think you're ready, even though you're right at the beginning of your career, to meet this person...' I pulled some designs together – I didn't really know who it was at this point – but I put together some references. Jimi Hendrick and [David] Bowie and Mick Jagger – you know, just classic rock’n’roll iconic frontmen whom I could see in the designs. Then that's when I heard that it was actually for Harry Styles."

When did you first meet Harry?

"It was November 2017 at one of his shows, at the Hammersmith Arena, and I got a text message from Harry Lambert saying, 'OK, just meet us at the stage door.' It was insane – a sea of screaming girls, men and women were fainting and being taken away in ambulances... I was like, 'What the fuck?' It was insane. And so I found the stage door and went up to this woman who was wearing this huge red coat and I went, 'Hi, I am here to see Harry Styles.' Obviously she laughed in in my face, saying something like, 'Who the fuck are you?' I replied, 'I am going to be Harry Styles' designer.' Like that, I'm not sure where the bravado came from! She goes, 'Of course, come with me.' I was led me through the crowd and right then and there I met Harry and the rest is history, I guess."

How much steer did Harry give you initially for the clothing?

"Honestly, Harry [Styles] was truly the way I envisioned. I think it was Harry Lambert who originally gave me some references for the first work I did for him. It was never a strict brief, but initially I only had about a day to put something together, like, the day before. It was so late to the process. It was more how I could see my designs adapting for him. And then when I went into the meeting I was like, 'Let's do ruffles!' I went a bit crazy, and that's when [Styles] got a lot more involved and was steering me in the direction he wanted. But Harry [Styles] was so open to what I saw for him and what I wanted was an old-world elegance rather than seeing some hot guy in skinny jeans and a T-shirt jumping around on stage – which can work and is amazing - but I wanted to make this aesthetic far more romantic. Watching him as he performs on stage, he is so explosive and amazing at dancing and moving around... Listen, I have so much respect for Gucci and what they do for him, but because of that relationship he was wearing so many suits, so I felt like what I could offer was more fluid, a flounciness or a different silhouette, billowy sleeves and so on. Even the outfit I did for the 'Lights Up' video was sleeveless and the trousers had a slight flare, so he could dance and do his pelvic thrusting, which he loves to do."

The outfit for Lights Up, when did you start working on this particular style moment for him?

"I was coming back from my week-long hiatus in LA during the summer after finishing at Gucci, so I was exhausted. I was in New York and Harry [Lambert] got in contact to say, 'Hey, I don't know if you're up for this but Harry would love you to do something for the next video.' All top secret, of course. All he sent me were two Pantone colours of blue with a note: 'It needs to be in this shade of blue; I can't tell you too much else.' And I was like, well, OK. And at the time I wasn't drunk... But let's say I was enjoying myself in NYC and it was really late at night and Harry [Styles] was actually there shooting his Rolling Stone cover and, as a coincidence, his stylist was like, 'Can you get some ideas to me really quickly. He needs to be able to move in it and it needs to look like he's about to go on stage and take the world.' So I kind I thought, 'movement', 'take the world' and 'stage' and got to work..."

Did you design it straight away?

"Yeah, I was in a bar, [The Bowery Hotel] so I asked the barman for a napkin and he handed me this piece of paper and I did a chicken scratch drawing and sent it back to Harry right away. He was like, 'This is perfect.' I did so many more sketches at the time, but he liked this one, it was so easy and clean and it reminds me a bit of David Bowie's 'Dog Days' but more sparkly and upbeat and less linen and long hair."

Did you have time for fittings and so on?

"Erm, no! We made the piece literally in three days. I got back from NYC with that sketch and they were leaving on a plane to do the video imminently. So I landed in London, went to all my favourite fabric shops in Soho, running around like a crazy madman with all these Pantone swatches of fabric. I have dozens of photos of all these different hues of blue. We ended up using a blue silk moire as it needed to be water resistant, or not water resistant, just be able to work with water, so reflective and shiny without being too heavy and not too hot, as the video was being filmed in South America. And we didn't have any time to do a fitting, so I had to fit the whole outfit on myself. Harry and I have very different body proportions so we were just very lucky. I remember they flew to South America to shoot the video and Harry [Styles] texted me, 'It fits! It works!' And I was in fucking heaven. I didn't sleep for a solid three days doing that outfit so I was thrilled."

This isn't the first outfit you've made for Harry Styles. Where are all those incredible one-off designs stored? Surely this archive must be preserved somewhere?

"I can't say where it is located, but everything goes to an archive. It's basically like a giant refrigerator – a frozen vault – somewhere in London where I am not going to disclose. But the clothes all have 24 hours surveillance, which you can look at via an iPad, specifically done for his outfits, and they have all been cryogenically frozen in time to preserve them. That's also what is more surreal for me. After his first solo tour that I produced 14-15 looks for – he wore about six or seven – I was wondering where the others were and he was like, 'Don't worry, they are all under surveillance.' I was like, 'Oh, that's chic.'"

Can you tell us what is next in the pipeline for you and Mr Styles?

"Hmm... Let me see what can I say. I think people can expect some pretty crazy, fabulous things coming. I can't say too much. I think with Harry I am hoping this is really just the beginning and as he evolves with his own music, and I evolve as a young designer, I hope we can work on more possible projects and clothes and... things!"

Do you hear the music before you make the outfits for him?

"I think the way he speaks about the music, the way he speaks about the process is a real influence on me as a designer. I was lucky enough to go an see him in the studio this summer, and just seeing the passion and the ideas... I am someone who talks a lot with my hands and he's the same, like he's really orchestrating his whole universe. Even the way the 'Lights Up' video was teased, it's never just music with him as for me it's never just clothes – it's the message too. That is what inspires me. I hope I get to hear little teasers of new music along the way, although I always have his stuff sort of on a loop in the studio anyway... Old school rock’n’roll and dashes of Harry Styles along the way."

Do you ever get intimidated by the fact these designs will make up part of his musical legacy?

"Honestly, from a design perspective, I don't worry, because when he tells me he loves something nothing else really matters. And because I'm not just designing a black T-shirt or a simple pair of trousers, I am making a statement, so it actually takes the pressure off me. I don't worry about it if he doesn't. I worry more about a seam splitting open. I remember he wore a few outfits for his big tour of Asia and I made all those outfits on my £50 sewing machine while eating chicken nuggets at five in the morning. I was still studying, and I don't have a proper atelier, so its those technical worries that are the things that stress me out. People don't know this but there's a picture in Rolling Stone where he is near naked holding a ping pong bat and the caption is something like, 'Harry waiting for a garment to be fixed' and it was my garment and the zipper had ripped right off. But he sort of says, 'Let's take this fashion risk together', so nothing else matters. As I said, if he loves it, I am happy."

Ever feel like you're pushing him too far with your designs?

"[Laughs.] He is so lovely and I don't think he ever wants to tell someone 'no' but there's definitely been a time when I laid out the designs from the most timid to the craziest, and when we got the craziest, he does this thing with his lips where he smiles, but he he's like, 'OK, we're not going to go this far.' But it probably involved an outfit with his ass hanging out or some huge Liberace cape... So he's always open, but sometimes I can see in his eyes that he's not quite there with me. I try to read those little mannerisms."

Most Stylish Couple Award

Anything Richard Madden. Maybe being on set at his GQ photo shoot and he keeps getting distracted so the director asks me to be in some of the photos?

A/N- being completely honest here, I really had no clue how award shows do their photoshoots, so the way they did it here is probably inaccurate, I just kinda went with my imagination of it:)

You open your phone to double check that everything looks perfect on you for your pictures, even though you know that they have many people who will touch you up. In your defense, you just won the most stylish women of the year to go along with Richard’s man of the year award, so you have to look just right, meaning not one tear, wrinkle, or spot in your outfit.

As the last celebrity gets their picture taken, they exit the set leaving just you and Richard left to go. The two of you made some small talk, you congratulated him and told him he looked nice, but him on the other hand, all he could do is shower you in compliments.

“You look stunning, absolutely stunning Y/N. I mean I understand how you won the award, you look like a model all the time, but me? Aside from award shows I’m just in some jeans and a t shirt” he told you with a chuckle as his ran his eyes up and down you, looking at every aspect of you.

You thanked him of course before going back to staring at your phone. Not Richard though, to your surprise he was actually staring at you, having to be snapped out of his thoughts by the photographer and director of the shoot.

“Mr. Madden?” The man asked, but no response from Richard. “Mr. Madden, we’re ready for you” but still no answer.

You look up from your phone to catch him looking at you, “Hey Rich, I think you’re needed” you smile at him as he jumps a little, being startled out of his daydream. “Oh- uh- yeah, sounds great. Thanks for letting me know” He nods at you before going over to the backdrop and props they had set up for him.

They get his backdrop set up and they set him down on a fancy, white suede couch, outlined in silver for the extra touch. Everyone and thing was ready for the photos to be taken- well, of course, except Richard.

He was fidgety, zoning, and couldn’t take his eyes off you. Everytime he was needed to look directly at the camera, he would try for a second but not soon after turn his eyes to the side to check you out.

Not going to lie, you felt slightly bad. You liked Richard, like, liked, Richard, and although it was a tad bit funny watching him keep getting in trouble with the camera man when he’s the famous ‘Richard Madden’, you felt kind of sorry for him, the poor guy couldn’t focus and you were the cause.

You set your items down on a table nearby and began to watch Richard, faintly giggling at how cute the situation is before the photographer finally had enough.

“Excuse me Miss Y/L/N?” the photographer says sitting his camera down on a stand. “Yes?” You reply.

“Mr. Madden here can’t seem to keep his eyes to himself and his thoughts in control” he rolls his eyes. “You won most stylish actress correct?” He asks to which you respond, “I did, yes.” With a smile

“Would you mind getting in some of these shoots? It’d be nice to have some photos of the category winners together anyways” he asks of you. “Wouldn’t mind at all” you wink at Richard as you see his cheeks are a blush color, embarrassed at himself and the way he’s acted, especially now you know it’s because he takes an interest in you.

“What would you like me to do sir?” You ask the man as you begin to walk into the set a few minutes later after hair and makeup did a quick touch up on you.

“Maybe try sitting in his lap” the photographer states. “Think that’d make for a good shot- Mr. Madden would probably like that too” he laughs as Richard just looks at the ground avoiding eye contact with anyone. “Sounds good to me”

You sit on his lap and cross your one leg over the other, wrapping your arm around Richard’s neck as he wraps his around your waist.

“So, you like this Richard?” You whisper in his ear and giggle as the camera man adjusts his lens getting ready to begin again. “Not gonna lie, I do. But I think what I’d really like is your phone number and to take you to dinner one day” he smiles up at you. “Only if you’d like that too of course”

“I’d more than like that, especially if ‘one day’ would be sooner than later. Took you long enough to ask tonight” you roll your eyes and giggle as he begins to blush again. “You noticed the staring I assume?” He questions. “Oh I more than noticed the staring” you laugh as his face turns to pure embarrassment. “Ah, I must seem like such a creep. I’m so sorry love.”

“Nonsense, you are far from a creep, I found it quite cute actually. Nice to be noticed once in a while by a very attractive man” you grin at him as the camera man is finally ready to shoot.

“Sorry that took longer than expected to set up, ready?” He says holding the camera up in a shooting position.

You complete the photo shoot with the photographer taking some amazing photos of the two of you, and not many days later complete your first date with Richard, many more coming after that until you finally become official and months later move in together.

“Who knows?” Richard says reminiscing at the magazine he found again that included your pictures you took at the GQ photo shoot. “Maybe next year we’ll win the most stylish couple of the year award” he wraps his arm around you as you sit down next to him on the couch.

“That can’t possibly be a real award they give, is it?” You ask. “No, but maybe out amazing relationship and our awesome style will make it one” he winks
