Twitter is so annoying I saw so many weird takes about fanfics today. Like please just appreciate that ficwriters, whatever their age, write amazing stuff for free! in their free time! for their and your entertainement! Yep, not all fics are good or live to your preferences, but you can just not read them, right? Find a couple of writers you vibe with and read their stuff. Stop shaming teens for writing fics. Stop shaming grow-ups for writing fics.

#me being me #this post looks like populism but twitter dot com has been very annoying for the last couple of days and I need to vent a bit #from the one side people say 'adults should go away from fandoms and ficwriting' from the other people shaming 'teen ficwriters for being #cringe' #like shut up #appreciate that older ficwriters have their share of writing experience and for real some fics I reread a million times were written by #them #appreciate that teen writers aren't buring their talent away and often write good stories and even they aren't perfect or super cool yet #they learn just leave them alone #end of vent #also these are from russian side of twitter
