is there a writer youd die to collab with?

Perhaps the scariest question you could ask me! I mean, I would love to collab with some writers out there. I know there is a bunch out there and at the moment I am frightfully blanking. @monstersandmaw comes to mind, @aelia-likes-monsters, @geekinglikeaboss, @frostsinth l, gosh there’s so many. But I’m such a nervous and weird little person, I would t even know how to go about asking lol. I would also hate to disappoint them in anyway, because they are all so amazing and wonderful. Honestly some of the best people, and I’m just sitting here making dolls kiss.

I read part 8 of "don't shoot the messenger" (fantastic work btw) and all I can think is that the song "Almost Touch Me" by Maisy Kay is a good vibe with the story. Can't wait for part nine!

So I'm pretty sure I saw you answer another ask about this and how Tate is always rallying the patrons of the Pixie into singing shanties and drinking songs, but is there any particular ones you know of you think he really likes? I am obsessed with this new Sea Shanty/Union Song revival and like to sing them while I adult around the house so I'd love some more to learn! Especially if I can imagine pleasing Tate as I do xD

Tate’s memory is very long for things he actually cares to remember, so he knows a LOT of songs. He doesn’t have a preference on what he gets the orcs singing, because the point is to get them to start singing, period. Once they start, it’s easy to turn them to Irish folk songs, both Elvish and human, which is all he really wants.

He can get them started with easy ones: Drunken Soldier and Roll, Boys, Roll. Leave Her Johnny is a crowd favorite, and his personal favorite is Lowlands Away...now everyone is nice and loosey goosey, the liquor is flowing...and now he has them where he wants them and flips the script. Spanish Ladies one minute and Carrickfergus the next. It’s not even a song about the part of Ireland he’s from! But it matters not, because, and I can’t stress this enough, Tate is the most basic of bitches, and getting a bunch of drunken orcs to sing “But the sea is wide and I cannot swim over,” with him brings him an enormous amount of satisfaction.

Currently craving: The donuts that I just pre-ordered to pick up on Saturday. You don’t understand how rare a vegan blueberry cake donut is. It’s my favorite flavor. I think this will be the first time I’ve had a vegan one that I didn’t have to make myself.

OH! And on the whole hole thing: we had a pipe burst in our ceiling, & it was steadily dripping into our hallway. But we rent, so when maintenance did finally come around, they just cut a hole in our ceiling & was like, "yup. That's dripping." Then left us. FOR TWO WEEKS. With water dripping into buckets from a hole in our ceiling + black mold giving us headaches/sinus issues. I got fed up with them not answering & called the housing authority & boy did they turn up fast to fix it after that!!

🤣 I used to be that person, but I adapted to the Victorian home owner way of life very quickly. 

The radiator in the library!! screams old me. It’s leaking!! We need to fix this immediately!

That’s what pie tins are for, says new me.

There are mice in the walls, wails old me, vibrating in panic.

There are squirrels in the walls too, says new me cheerfully, beating on the wall to make Sparky and his friends run back to the roof.
