I love food. Big fan of food. am I consistently and constantly hungry. Food is the best thing. Wow. Can’t believe I live on a planet where I can eat and taste. I can bring food for my friends. I can slice it in half. I can make an ugly bacon egg sandwich just for me. I can reheat food. I can melt cheese on chips. I can give my friends the black licorice jelly beans. Being an adult is a mixed bag bc on the one hand if i'm craving something, i can simply go and buy it and nobody can tell me i can't, but on the other hand, i have to buy it myself with my own money and time.

Sakuna: of Rice and Ruin further observations: its very funny to me that the game goes from "you are being menaced by bunny rabbits" and then after about 4? 5? harvests? the difficulty curve gets snapped in half as Sakuna's latent war goddess blood awakens and you just become a walking storm of death.

It kinda reminds me of Sekiro, and not just because of the whole "Feudal Japan With Demons" thing, but because the game starts out kicking your shit in, but then when you unlock the lifesteal ability and one or two really good combat arts, it becomes very unlikely that anything can pose a threat to you outside of boss fights.

in other news, i just got the "Broomstick Awakening" spirit bough and i love that the game has a joke weapon which can also become the Infinity +1 sword. Its current damage output is 150% of my second strongest, and it'll just keep growing indefinitely.
