On a scale of 1-10, how badly do you want to punch Gabriel Agreste?

Just when I thought I could not hate this man any more than I already did, he proved me wrong.

In all of these past three season 5 episodes, he stands there and makes him breakfast and tells him to call him “daddy” instead of father.

In Illusion, he fakes an akumatization, pretending to get mad (AGAIN) and then fake cries and fakes a serious conversation with Adrien at the end of the episode.

You know the abuse has gone too far when he pretends to care about him more and makes the active effort to pretend. It’s beyond disgusting and manipulative. Adrien actually believes he cares about spending more time with him and is legitimately worried when senti-Gabriel claims he feels like a bad father.

He hasn’t only made Adrien’s AI his puppet, he’s made the real Adrien Agreste his puppet.
