I don’t think I have ever seen a post about transandrophobia saying that their issues were MORE IMPORTANT that trans womens’. Every post I’ve seen has always been more along the lines of “hey stop erasing trans men, we are also being killed and attacked”.

First and foremost, he is not a rapist; his character, Aegon, the second Targaryen, is. Second of all, I hate how some of you pretend Viserys and Daemon weren't groomers. Nine times out of ten, you don't see sane people from Team Green making rape accusations against Paddy and Matt. Just please fucking stop it; it's like some of you really want to ruin this man's career. I’m telling you as a trans man who has been out in the real world for 10 years and on testosterone for most of that time that I have it significantly easier than my trans woman friends. It’s factual. I have an easier time passing bc people scrutinize men’s features less for shortcomings the way they do women’s, as soon as I had a little stubble and a deep voice it didn’t matter anymore that I had wide hips and was 5’4. And once you pass as a man misogyny is basically not a thing for you outside of medical contexts, in those cases it is pretty much horrific (and trans women have a similar experience) but in my day to day life I am afforded all the benefits of being a cis guy. My trans women friends who do not pass are treated like subhuman freaks, and when they do pass they are treated like women. Even before I passed I did not have to fear for my life stepping outside dressed the way I want to dress the way my trans woman friends do. I could shop in the men’s section freely. It is not equal.

Your experiences as a trans man do not align with everyone elses, and you telling another trans man that their experience Is invalid because you personally have never faced the horrors is honestly disgusting.

I am also a trans man who is on testosterone.

Adding the caveat of “when they pass” is a disingenuous joke because some of us will never pass. Some of us cannot go on testosterone for health reasons, and some of us simply do not want to.

I will not, and should not have to explain to you all of the horrific things that I have gone through as a trans man to prove to you that you’re wrong.

I am truly glad that you personally have had it easy. The rest of us are not so lucky. This isn’t the oppression olympics, and you acting like it is is disgusting. Fuck off.

So what's up with the hatred for binary trans men within the queer community? Even within the trans masculine community as a whole, what is with the cruelty?

Why is it that when a trans femme spoke to me about other trans men in her life, she turned around and used "thats so binary" as an insult towards them, as if she wasn't talking to a binary trans person. Not that it's the worst thing in the world, but it raises questions. At least to me.

What is with that? Why is it wrong for binary trans men to be men? It's not wrong for trans mascs to be masc, so what is the deal with being a man? Does it still really just boil down to simply being a man?

Do you internally think we are "gender traitors" still?
