CHIP WITH THE "We can't leave her-" VOICE BREAKING, ON THE VERGE OF TEARS- STUCK BETWEEN A ROCK AND A HARD PLACE- GOING BACK TO SAVE HIS SISTER OR CONTINUE FORWARDS FOR HIS FATHER BECAUSE HE CAN NEVER COME BACK??? OH MY DAYS MAN.

Chip leaving the room and Gillion following out after him- the conversation that follows- Jay and the rest of the crew being left in this horrible silence after they leave- I can't.

Gillion with the, "Chip, it's not your fault." (Dead. Dead on the ground. No survivors.)

Chip's 'how did you know I was gonna go off alone?' and Gillion's 'I know you.' (Violent sobbing)

Fresno tries to break it off and leave as they've done many times but uh oh, turns out this bomb hurts everyone involved and may just get into worse trouble bc of it, and like, in a way it's kind of vaguely like have a taste of your own medicine because. they've hurt people like this and abandoned them many times. they're flight, you know. and they can only do it so many times before they're caught in the blast of them dynamiting their own relationships and bonds without a care in the world other than for themself.

their story shifts a lot from there on out but. *gestures* i love my little disaster.

Because he’s right, the Jedi aren’t peacekeepers anymore, they bring as much destruction with them that the separatists do and have become symbols of war. They’re fighting for a good reason yes, but they can no longer claim that they are peacekeepers or that they played no role in this war.

dave - i’ve so many feelings about john and dave’s friendship… contrary to some really well written meta i’ve read on this site, i still believe they have the potential to be 100% open with each other without filter given enough time and development. this probably falls under unpopular opinion as well, but i do love their early interactions where they mutually rip on each other all the time? there’s genuine under all that dudebro defensiveness (on dave’s end), and it’s so interesting to see them /attempting to keep up with each other/

rose - rose and john having soft spots for each other directly parallels dave and jade imo? i love how john is the semi-not-really rational voice in their relationship half the time, and rose is like, the fat, shredded, angry cat who has to be held back by her friend at all times so the raccoon doesn’t get mauled. i also adore how much respect and trust john has for rose?? john the little fuck outright ignoring dave’s pester logs but following all of rose’s instructions blindly acts 1 to 4 was hilarious. god their relationship just had so many great moments?!?!?! i can ramble on forever

jade - gdi i typed two giant paragraphs about jade before remembering the prompt was “favorite stuff about john’s relationships.” i love how john and jade remind each other to be kids! their relationship is the most straightforward out of any other duo among the betas, they bitch and moan to each other, and squabble like dumb babbis. i feel like the MOST underrated jade moment was how ready jade was to throw away her one chance of being with her friend and be alone on the ship for three years just so john can reunite with rose and dave, like, what the fuck! canon didn’t make a big deal out of that but imagine how awful it would’ve been had john went through the gateway, leaving jade alone on the ship for three years stfu retcon
