Big fan of sun motifs in characters not necessarily being about positivity and happiness and how they're so " bright and warm" but instead being about fucking brutal they are.

Radiant. A FORCE of nature that will turn you to ash. That warmth that burns so hot it feels like ice. Piercing yellow and red and white. A character being a Sun because you cannot challenge a Sun without burning alive or taking everything down with them if victorious.

Friendly reminder that Percy jackson - our beloved silly adorable seaweed brain - is absolutely terrifying. When he’s angry, when he’s scared, when he’s on edge - he’s not warm and fuzzy.

No other character gets that reaction from people. Jason (the sweetie) is perceived as calm and in control, nico (our favorite self-outcasted outcast) is perceived as solemn and creepy, reyna (girlboss queen slay) is perceived as confident and assertive, and annabeth (our girl) is perceived as fierce, clever, and formidable. They are all intimidating to an extent.

But not like Percy. No. Becasue even when he’s at ease, he’s described as wild and disobedient. And when he’s not at ease, even if just little bit, he’s perceived as powerful, dangerous, and scary. Someone who NOBODY wants to mess with. Nobody even questions his power. One look from him has literal gangs running the other way. One look from him has Leo so scared that he’s literally shaking, and feeling the same innate fright and alarm that he does when jason summons an ear-piercing, earth-shaking, deadly bolt of lighting.

like… HELLO??? can we all just sit on that for a moment?? good lord

One angry look from percy has people thinking one thing: Run.

Percy is, canonically, the character that people find the most frightening and intimidating.

And unless he’s in a good mood - which you better hope he is - the reality is that most of us would be completely terrified of him if we met him.

Never have I been so motivated. Because I have to get a physical done soon at the doctor's where I will be weighed. I want to show them all I've lost weight. The weight I gained after the psychiatrist put me on an awful medication (which I am now coming off of thank fuck). However, I already know the number won't be low enough and I will end up crying in the car on the way home after seeing it (I don't weigh myself at all for this exact reason).

everyone feels like they want to attack me at any moment due to their jealousy of me and it puts me on guard like i have to always be ready for it.

what's worse is being so kept away from my power for so long that im terrified of myself. i know i would never hurt myself but im just not used to this kind of power being real and intense and feeling it is scary af especially when i see even the smallest sign of it even when it's light and whimsical.

the most terrifying experience of my life happened the other day😭so my friends and I were in one of those weird cheap fun houses on the boardwalk. We went up the stairs into this cave section. It was almost completely pitch black. But then out of nowhere comes this group of like 5 year old children. And these fuckers were like “Are you having fun? come with us come with us” I almost started crying I was so confused. These children weren’t even actors, they were just some random people. Like huhhh who told them to do that?? Either way i’m scarred for life😭😭😭

The first time I watched this movie, I despised alcohol. I watched create so many problems, abuse, domestic violence, and now I'm watching it for a second time AFTER I have been an alcoholic. And let me tell you, I really love alcohol. ❤️ I didn't have to go outside to have a sip, or a glass, or a bottle. I didn't have to be social. Smoking I hated because it was social even if you were trying not to be social. Example rando asking for a cig. I'm watching this movie for the second time after being sober that I achieved all on my own. Not even any support from family or friends. All the withdrawals, physical, emotional, mental, etc, I battled all on my own. It's coming up to two years, I am curious as to what I will think about it now.

Been home alone for the week which I'm usually fine with cuz I get a friend to stay over but not tonight and it is now 4:40am and I let my cat stay in my room cuz company and also if anything happened I'd wanna know my cat is okay and shit but cat got up like an hour ago and has been standing guard at my window and I could hear a bunch of sniffing for a few minutes followed by my cat jumping onto the windowsill and running across it with his fur all puffed up but now he's back sitting in front of the window I am getting absolutely no sleep tonight
