You voted for it, so it's happening! The Bellarke Holiday Gift Exchange is here! Would you like to spread some holiday cheer in the fandom? Well then join us for some festive fun! Gifs, manips, fanvids, fanart, fanfic (did we miss anything?!) are all accepted! Details below!

How It Works:

Each person who signs up will receive the name and blog of another user here on Tumblr, as well as a few other tidbits to help them get an idea of what that user may like to see. After that, they will create a piece of work to be presented to that user between December 25th and January 1st. It's like Fandom Secret Santa, but a little more inclusive towards other holidays this time of year! (We do realize some of which may have passed by the 25th but we needed to give everyone time to come up with gifts!)

If you celebrate a different Holiday and feel comfortable disclosing that info, feel free to let your anonymous gift sender know! They could make something revolving around your holiday, or simply use the correct well wishes for you. It's the little things like this that can make someone's day!

How To Sign Up:

It's easy! There will be a form linked below we ask that you fill out. It's very short and simple this time, mostly just basic info on each user. Along with this, we will be adding a prompts section (ideas for your gifter) but these will be used as suggestions and are not requirements. After that we will make a post when sign-ups close and you will receive all the gift exchange info shortly after the apps are in!

Clarke Griffin Appreciation Week 2022!

After a wonderful first year of Daily Clarke Griffin, we’d like to invite you all to celebrate Clarke once again as we kick off our second Clarke Griffin Appreciation Week! Last year you all did an amazing job at creating content and spreading positivity and support throughout the community and we wanted to give you the opportunity to do it again!

The dates for this year’s event will be the same as last year’s, October 24th to October 30th. While we know October can be a busy month with lots of events and holidays, we hope you get the chance to participate and give Clarke some love during her birth month. Below will be another list of prompts for those who want to participate, some old and some new! We hope they’ll offer you a little inspiration! And remember, all creators are welcome and encouraged to join, the only requirement is being a Clarke fan! 💖

Prompts:

Day 1: Favorite Storyline — Last year we did Favorite Season, but this year we want to see your favorite storyline. Was it Clarke’s Mount Weather journey in season two? Her experience during Praimfaya in four and five? Her fight to survive the mind drives and the Primes during season six? Whatever you enjoy, we want to know!

Day 2: Happiest Moment — It’s no secret Clarke went through a lot of pain and loss as the show’s lead, but since our goal is to spread positivity, we want to see how you associate happiness with Clarke. You could highlight her reunion with the delinquents in season two, or the simple moments she shared with Madi during Praimfaya, whatever comes to your mind when you hear happiness.

Day 3: Friendship — We did something similar last year where you showed us your favorite dynamic, but this year we want something more specific. What’s your favorite friendship? Who did you love seeing Clarke interact with? What friendship would you have liked to see more of?

Day 4: Association & Symbolism — Okay, this is definitely a new one, but there’s lots of things you can do with this! Color association, colors that make you think of Clarke. Flower symbolism, what blooms symbolize Clarke’s personality best? Elemental association, make something that connects Clarke to one, or all, of the elements: fire, water, earth, air. What about mythology? Which God or Goddess do you connect Clarke with? It’s almost Halloween, what creature makes you think of Clarke: a witch, a siren, a phoenix (resurrection and rebirth, anyone?), even a griffin (for obvious reasons). This day is all about creativity!

Day 5: Music & Lyrics — This one is a staple. Find some inspiration in music! Make a gifset with lyrics, create a video set to a song that makes you think of Clarke, write a fic around lyrics or a concept of a song, whatever gives you inspiration to create something! And if you’re having trouble with music, you can also use the day to draw inspiration from a quote you like, too, if that’s more your style.

Day 6: Bi Pride — You didn’t think we’d change this one, did you? Of course not! We could always use more bi pride! Give us all the pink, purple and blue your heart desires! Colorful gifs, moodboards that scream bi pride, doodles of kisses, fics about her experience, anything! As long as there’s Clarke and bi positivity you can’t go wrong, right?

Day 7: Free Day — And of course, we’re going to end on Free Day, which means you can do whatever the hell you want! Make some memes! Post that AU that’s been in your head for months! Make something Halloween-inspired! Anything goes, really. Let your creativity go wild!

Do you think Clarke's one of those people who steals food from other people's plates when they don't think they're watching?

absolutely. and i think bellamy actually loves it.

you know after everything settles down, say when she comes back from her three months after mount weather and they actually manage to build the camp without all the bs, he notices that she's lost so much weight.

it looks unhealthy.

he knows that he's not been eating much either, that he's been favoring his moonshine more than the rations Monty always shoves in his hands but he doesn't consider it a big deal.

he never ate much anyway, you know. he was never a food person, it was how his life went and it hadn't changed with time.

it takes clarke months to get better, she stays close to her mom and their relationship is very tentative to say the very least.

he's not great at talking and he's still angry but with time that slowly starts fading away.

he spends a lot of time in the garden he and monty have been growing. since jasper's too drunk and sad to help out it's mostly him and miller who do the heavy work and bellamy found himself enjoying it a lot.

he often does most of the work while monty and miller kiss in the bushes nearby and he pretends he's not seeing it even though inside he's happy and even a little jealous.

one night he overhears kane and abby talk about clarke; he was coming in from a guard shift and as usually he had to report to kane, give in his weapon and arrange the next round for tomorrow or the whole week; often time kane asked hi out to stay they drank moonshine and talked some and bellamy knew the older man was doing it for him, because he could see how much he hurt;

but lately every time he came by he could hear kane talk to abby; she's been a frequient visitor in his office and bellamy wasn't missing the soft looks or smiles they exchanged but just like with monty and miller, he kept quiet;

"she's barely eating and she only sleeps when im holding her." he hears abby say, her voice breaking a little "i dont know what to do. i thought getting her back would fix everything but i just feel...helpless now."

"we'll get her there, don't worry, it'll just take time." kane promises and bellamy peaks through the crack of the door watching as kane held abby in his arms and rubbed her back "she'll be okay."

"if she keeps it that way, she'll get herself sick." abby whispers fearfully and that makes bellamy's heart skip a few beats;

so after that night he decides to take matters into his own hands-he starts picking up the cucumbers and tomatoes from the garden and he cuts them off in a special way, adds seasoning, some oil and brings it over to clarke while she's working on some blueprints about extending the camp's permeter.

"what's that?"

"just salad."

"just salad??" she asks confused "why?"

"Monty and I are trying out these new seeds and we want to know which ones are the best so we can keep them for next year." he lies, knowing she'll never take it otherwise "We're letting people try them out." Clarke raises her eyebrows but he's gone before she can argue and when she mindlessly picks at the tomato later on she finds that she loves it;

then he digs out the potatoes, fries them and seasons them for her, adds the jerky he got from his own ration and brings it to her late one evening;

then there's carrots mixed with sweet apples and some raspberries which may sound awful but it's actually a great combination for breakfast;

he slowly brings her back to eating, to loving it, to life; so much that clarke wouldn't take anything from the kitchen and wait for bellamy to bring her something he cooked himself;

later on when they get together, she's the type of person to steal half his fries while he's not looking and he smiles when she does so, happy to be pretending that he's oblivious to it all;

the only other time clarke's barely eating is when she first gets pregnant with their son and bellamy feels like no matter what he gives her, he's failing because she wouldn't touch it and she starts losing weight again;

he's silly enough not to know that her body just needed some time and when a few weeks pass, he comes home to her so hungry she's munching on a piece of old somewhat molded bread and he laughs when he sees her because she looks like a starving predator;

months later when they hold Gus in their arms and he's feeding off of her eagerly, bellamy chuckles and leans down to kiss her lips;

"One thing's for sure-that kid's gonna be a foodie like his mom."

it earns him a slap on the shoulder and a pouty look from her but he kisses it away and boops her nose while gus munches eagerly on his mom's breast and smacks as loudly as clarke did when she ate bellamy's potatoes;

Well what a wild and life changing ride it has been. I am deeply grateful to all that have been involved in this production over 7 long years. I'd like to thank the Crew, Cast, Writers, Production office, Casting, Vancouver, CW and WB. And I want to thank the FANS that have gone along this journey with all of us. I have forged memories on and off set and at conventions that will burn brightly for the rest to my life.

Welcome to Bellarke Valentines! An event created for the Bellarke fandom inspired by fandom events like Secret Santa and Holiday Gift Exchange, but it’s for Valentine’s Day! Do you like Bellarke? Do you like making and receiving Bellarke creations? Do you like interacting with other creators? Do you like putting a smile on someone’s face with your creations? You can do all of these things this Valentine’s Day with our interactive fandom event!

To put it simply, everyone gets assigned a user that they make a gift for, and in return you’ll also receive a gift for Valentine’s Day!

Everything you need to know will be listed below, (Don’t forget to check out the FAQ!) and if you’d like to participate please fill out our Sign-Up Forms! We’d be happy to have you! We will be tracking #bellarkevalentines starting now! Any updates will be posted under that tag!

Sign-Ups And Steps For Participating

Fill out the form listed above with the information needed. It’s relatively simple, just the basics for participating. Please do this by January 31st, sign ups will close at 11:59 PST. (If you need to know when this is for you, you can search for a time zone converter or contact us and we’ll help.)

Shortly after this, you’ll receive a message from us with your gift recipient. This should be February 1st or 2nd. If it takes longer for you to receive a message, please let us know. Your gift recipient will have selected the type of media you chose to create. They may have selected other media as well, but we’ll try to match you up as best as we can so you’ll be matched with as many applicable prompts as possible.

Start on your creations! Check out your prompts and see what you like best! Every participant should provide at least three (even more is encouraged!) prompts as a jumping off point. Prompts may be short and simple (Example: Gifset of Bellarke in S2) or more detailed (Like a full description for a fic). If you have any questions at this point, feel free to reach out to us.

Post on Valentine’s Day! It’s February 14th and you’ve finished your creation and are ready to post? Go ahead! There is no set time, just whatever part of the day works for you! Remember to tag #bellarkevalentines and/or #bellarkevalentines23 so we can reblog it. (If your gift is posted outside of Tumblr and you’d like us to post a direct link, please message us!)

As covered in the FAQ, gift extensions are available for a limited duration. Running late? We understand! If you won’t make it on the day, you may request an extension up until the following weekend. This gives you about five extra days max. After that, we’ll work on a backup gift for your recipient. This is simply so we can insure everybody gets a gift and no one is left out.

Lastly, enjoy your gifts! We absolutely cannot wait to see what everybody creates! We hope to see a lot of romance and fluff. ;)
