• "i'm sorry if you feel nervous at all y/n, but i promise you, there's no reason to be", chihiro whispers in your ear as you wait for his parents to approach you • chihiro's parents both look excited to meet you, they're smiling because they're glad to see their child happy with someone • they seem like a close-knit family and from what chihiro has told you, they get along often. especially since their father taught them how to program and now its one of chihiro's biggest passions :] • they invite you in and offer you some tea as a refreshment. they seem to have a lot of money, as the house is pretty well furnished and spacious • their mother lets you know that she's heard so many good things about you and you laugh, honestly a little nervous as to how to navigate this interaction • chihiro holds your hand as you meet them, physically reassuring you subtly while you introduce yourself • "so, do you like our chihiro?" and with a slight start from his mom's question, his dad speaks up from the couch. he leans forward a bit and talks over the arm rest at you. "we've never seen them so happy, so we're very grateful to finally meet you!" • you kind of sit there on the couch feeling a little flustered from this as their kindness is so warm and friendly • you let the fujisakis know that you really love your s/o. they both look at each other with tears in their eyes, a little emotional. "that is… that is so very sweet. you know, a parent only wants to see their child happy. we're very thankful for you." • it's almost like you feel at home in their presence, as it's an open and welcoming space • you end the night having a nice dinner and watching a movie together. it's evident that your s/o's parents are fond of you when they pat your back and wish you a safe night home, eager for the next time you can come visit ^^

i saw your tags on the cherry magic post and i wanted to clarify that jan's character hasnt been "changed" from aro, exactly - the thai show and the japanese show are both based off the same original material, but the thai show isn't based on the japanese show! both make changes, and one change made by the japanese show was making her character /become/ aroace - im kind of sad they didnt make the same change as the japanese show, but it's not an erasure thing, they just didn't make the same adaptation choices

hi anon!!! i totally get the adaptation from the manga, i was pretty much just hoping (my fatal flaw bahdfkjhkj) that the thai production would see the impact fujisaki had and decide to keep that part of her character in this version :/ she was important to me so im holding on to her lol but the rest of the show is likely adapted fine so maybe ill watch it anyway after it's done :) thank u for the message!!!
