What's the shed?
In ch.101 "For whose sake" Father pushes Yato into the barn with garden tools
Since then it became a constant backdrop to the battle between father and Yato
I know how Adachitoka love symbolism and visual allusions. But nothing comes to my mind here.... Except, perhaps, father's wish.
In Japanese it's 'mabike' -間引け - 'i want a cull'
That 'mabiku' (間引く) verb has different meanings in Japanese, like, 'to reduce, to cut down; to run on a curtailed schedule; even '..to kill a newborn child (due to financial difficulties)'. But most common meaning is 'to thin out; to cull (plants, seedlings, crops, etc.)' refers to agriculture and gardening 🥕👨🌾
Not the first time in the manga something figurative turns into something literal, or conversely, like, sakura tree into Sakura, or spring tree into Haruki, 'life line' to the literal rope etc. So we get new clue, huh?🌸
