Drew goes threw the 5 stages of grief over his best friend,(bf lol/j)Jake.

Drew had denied any problems in His friendship with Jake. He didn’t want to believe that his friendship was going to end; he believed that it would ultimately remain the same.

But it didn’t. He didn’t know how to keep a healthy relationship let alone know how to be a good person. His whole life he’d never been tought how to handle his emotions;his father would always just buy him things in hope that it would help whatever problems he had, I mean he was a busy guys he didn’t have time for drew.

So drew thought hey maybe if I buy my friends things I won’t have to worry about there problems and that’s how he became friends with Liam and Henry even worked for romantic relationships he got a girlfriend that way! Well she did… uhm cheat on him and only use him for his money… BUT that’s besides the point.

When drew first met Jake it was like something inside him clicked. He was quite literally absorbed into this guys life, he wanted nothing more than to be by his side. He didn’t know what it was about him, That made drew so captivated by his presence. He wasn’t anything special in other peoples eyes he was considered a freak to some people. But not to drew, Jake was… everything to drew. It was weird cuz.. drew didn’t take a lot of interest in people if anything he didn’t even care about most people(except for his two close friends Liam and Henry but he won’t admit that).

So when Jake spoke up to drew he was more than happy to start a conversation with him. They talked about lots of things but the most prominent thing he remembered was the fact he played games and talked about the latest luniswitch.

He made sure to ask he’s dad for one when he got home.

A few days of being aqantances and talking during class drew called out to the taller boy who seemed to be looking at a bulletin board crowded with papers of different clubs; beckoning ppl to join.

’This Ain’t A Room Full of Suicides’ - a poem for the original members of L’Manberg

It was a suicide mission It was the best days of our lives It was a beautiful way to pass the time It was a place I thought could be mine 

We few, we happy few, we band of brothers Trapped in this room full of suicides 

The walls, hewn from haphazard swings of a blunted instrument, scratched and marked with the words of a useless song. The walls as useless as the words; the wind and the dust invades much more effectively than we ever could.

The fourth wall is blown away, and there he stands upon the stage, arms open wide, laughing and crying. And his father betrays the sacred oath of siring a son, and he dies in his arms as the audience weeps.

We few, we happy few, we band of brothers In this room full of suicides

The wind holds my hand, the wind is my only friend; no more ghosts, no more smiling faces. The wind will be my only witness, teetering at the top of a pole gently swaying under the weight of its passenger.

PLEASEEEE tell me about the symbolism in your drawing Oh i am dying to know

HII why thank you for asking!! I'll try my best to answer concisely but Tl;dr I'm not normal about either cwilbur or flower symbolism :) it also must be noted that a lot of my decisions are entirely based on my personal cultural experience so I hope if anything you find it interesting.

For an overview, The peice is inspired by art nouveau, namely alphonse mucha and henri privat livemont, and is mostly based on this hamlet production poster by the former. The composition however is not based on said illustration, and is slightly inspired in part by stained glass and fences of the movement. The clothing cwilbur is wearing is from the edwardian period, if I've got my references correct it's earlier in the period, though not any year in particular. It differs drastically in the fact that the colors are very vibrant (I can't help putting cwil in shades of red, ho16 permanently changed my brain chemistry), and that the Cape part of the inverness cape is entirely too short. Otherwise I've attempted to keep the general silhouette accurate.

Now the plant symbolism:

First: Arabian jasmine (which fun fact are not actually the same as the 4 petal vine yasmine, has a different name, Full (فل), and they grow on shrubs) and the Damascus rose go together because of two reasons: 1) i didn't know other flowers to put there and 2) they're very closely tied in my brain. If you try to find their symbolism you'll find a lot of things about beauty and purity, as is common with any white flower or rose, but my reasoning differs. Without going into too much detail, I intended for them to symbolise community and belonging.

Daffodils (the ones depicted are the ones most common in my region, they may not resemble the expectations but they are indeed daffodils) mean death rebirth and hope, its a flower i generally associate with cwil. Same meaning goes for the white lilies. And poppies have a heavy association with war and generally symbolise remeberance and hope for peace, and thus, l'manberg association.

The next five are flowers that represnt certain characters strictly based on cwilbur's preception of them, but they can be applied to others as well, i just thought these were most important:

Freesia: especially when yellow, usually means thoughtfulness, trust and friendship. represents cranboo.

Orange/tiger lilly: pride, hatred, status, tenacity.  Cquackity

Lilly of the valley: cmon we all know this one, ctommy

Boat orchid: virtue and morality, a gesture of respect and friendship. Ctubbo

Gladiolus: diminutive of gladius(sword); strength of character, moral integrity and rememberance. ctechno

pomegranate tree and fruit: pomegranates have a very different connotation in Western media, from what I can glean, as opposed to what I'm used to them being perceived as (I won't derail this but I can elaborate if needed). In short, I've chosen to take advantage of this double meaning and so its here to represent life death and resurrection while the tree is for family and home.

On a side note, I was originally going to do night blooming jasmine (مسك الليل) but it wasn't working, the symbolism of it however still stand: its a flower many love and think smells amazing, but rarely do they actually want the burden of having it in their own yards because of how deathly strong it smells. I was intending on using it to symbolise the complicated nature of cwilbur's relationship with the important people in his life.

And finally, the olive tree: aside from its meanings of peace and friendship, olive trees also mean olive oil which is a product with many healing properties that is not too easy to make and requires a lot of work. i chose it to mean healing and the process thereof.

So yeah that's it, hope it's up to expectation and thanks for the interest means a lot to me <33

Aw that's nice of you to ask and yes she did!! We were able to get her set up in an apartment of her own and at first it was going well with her family, but last I heard they have decided to cut off contact with her over some choices she's made since being on her own (what exactly I don't know, she's incredibly straight-laced so it's got to be over something very petty).

Fortunately, she's remained close with the women I mentioned who wanted to help her escape in the first place and has a lot of other supporters. Other than her family issues she seems to be thriving!! 😊

Who mows the lawn for parfait?

Wellto even say they have a lawn is a bit of an overstatement actually….. the grass around the house is kept relatively short so that it’s less likely the kids will drag in ticks every time they go outside. But other that that little radius it’s mainly woodsy yaknow ? Eventually Fundy had to rip up a path and put fine orangey gravel down because no one could find the mailbox. (<- thatswhy they were not receiving letters from relatives for a while. Wilbur thought fundy was just ignoring him ((which honestly he probably wouldve anyway)) after Wil visited fundy was so pissed off he just violently carved out a beeline to the road with a shovel lmao) anyhow for most of the general PLANT stuff H takes care of that partially because she does not get to rip up much of anything else and partially because fundy will do a half assed job and just tear off the tops of weeds instead of getting out the roots. It pisses her off to no end. Also if H is in charge of the garden(perhaps a bit generous of a word…) then he gets to choose what’s planted there.

Sometimes Yogurt helps out because he likes getting to wear gardening gloves and if he’s lucky he gets to see WORMS. The beauty…….. also H will give him a bit of sugar cane to chew on as a reward

(Kyleigh's POV)

We're back from camp and enjoying the last bits of the summer before the seasons change and the new school year begins, I've chosen to homeschool through the year just to lessen the intensity of the workload for the kids. Working all year means that I can tailor how much work they do in the average day/week in event that we need to travel somewhere for longer periods of time, that gives them days off when we're on holiday so I don't need to worry about meeting the quota for the day. The kids have been chatting excitedly nonstop and have spent hours and hours telling me all the stories of them playing with their cousins and their other friends at camp, hearing the joy in their voices bring a joy to my heart. This was the childhood that I had (without the siblings), seeing my friends every summer and growing up with friends that encouraged me in the Lord whilst we were also being taught how to be in him. These 5 girls right here were my right hand, so to speak, while we were at camp. Whilst at home they do help with the younger ones, but prefer to focus on the childcare and have them help with house chores since those are much more age appropriate than changing a baby's diaper. All my older girls took it upon themselves to use their mornings to spend time with their siblings after they'd eaten breakfast whilst Barrett and I ate our breakfast in the morning, afterwards we'd send them off to their respective zones. Being halfway through this pregnancy means that I tire easier than usual, so dealing with the littles requires a little extra help.

The children have gone back to having their music time at the big house, either Macie, Annette, or another girl from church will give the children their music lessons. On special days when she's got the time, Casandra herself will give the kids their piano lessons, it's so great that the kids get to bond with their grandparents. Since there's relatives all over Newcrest, there's always someone dropping in to the big house to spend time, so the kids are always coming home with stories about chatting with Barrett's aunts and uncles. They say that it takes a village to raise a child, and I feel so blessed with our family and community that are as dedicated as I am in bringing up children in the way of the Lord. While we wish we could have travelled to Windenburg for the fundraising gala, but it just didn't fit in our schedule as well as planning for travel with all the kids for such a short period of time, we did watch the videos that were sent onto the different family group chats. It's so great that Brittany and Colton are working to make Windenburg better with legislation and helping put God back into the government.

Recently, we got to head to a marriage retreat in a nearby town with Allan and Casandra. Both of them had speaking parts at various times so we planned ahead, left the kids at the big house with Macie and Annette and enjoyed the weekend away. It's so great being taught about the different ways that us spouses can show up for each other to continue to strengthen our marriage. It's so inspiring seeing Allan and Casandra still putting in the work on their marriage after all these years together, it shows that there's always work to be done!

Also Ranboo was on the smp and for the last stream he gave himself creative mode, made an End portal, and yelled that he was going home. Sam got to make a tracker and it fucking broke, I don't remember how it just kinda did.

Crumb was there for like two or three stream an she teamed with Ranboo, they made a cake canon powered by blazes that kept breaking.

The finale was... I literally can't even explain it, but it was definitely a finale so.

pov i revive an old project from 2021 because i watched one sorry boys video

this is the 'rustout au', its a combination of TWD, fallout 4, and rust but i shoved silly block men (and ted nivison) in it. essentially its a zombie apocalypse au that takes place at some time in the 80s or 90s following a nuclear fallout that occurred due to undisclosed government activities with foreign global superpowers. none of the normal civilians really know why the nukes went off and only a few of the most wealthy in the community really were able to get down to the bunkers in time

there are a ton of characters i want to include in this au, but considering i made this in the peak of the dsmp fandom i have to be kinda careful to not pick out any ccs who are still a part of dream's posse.. :pensive:

so far, the other characters in this au who aren't displayed here are fundy, techno, philza, bizly, grizly, condi, connor, jack, eret, and a few others i cant think of rn >_<

some character information below ^-^

WILBUR G. SOOT - the widowed father to fundy. wilbur lived in a house in a suburban neighborhood with his teen aged son before the nukes went off. once the initial fallout occurred, will and fundy had an argument about where they should shelter. the day after the argument, wilbur awoke to find fundy had completely disappeared. grief stricken at the loss of another family member (under the impression that he was the reason fundy had 'ran off'), wilbur risked his safety to search for his son, traveling from settlement to settlement. he hated himself and blamed himself for his son's disappearance. by this point, he wanted to lie in the dirt and rot with the corpse of the land below him

TOMMY ZA - the adoptive son of phil, a single child. tommy was at school during the blasts, thus he was separated from his father. he and the rest of his school were ushered to the basement following the explosions to protect them from fallout. when given the all clear, tommy ran down barren streets to find his way home, and never did. too frantic and unable to navigate his way properly, he became stranded and lost. the crushing anxiety of being alone seemed to summon a taller man with a guitar case from a local town. he had found himself wandering into tommy's neighborhood. and therein, an alliance was formed.

"RANBOO" - ranboo is a mysterious creature who doesn't really appreciate questions about his history. tommy and wilbur found him a month or two into constructing their own settlement. ranboo was found uncomfortably asleep in a cramped car not far off from Dome. he was rudely awakened with a violent mugging from tommy. wilbur caught up to the shorter brit and apologized for his actions, suggesting that ranboo could stay at their camp as compensation for the troubles that tommy had brought to ranboo. ranboo reluctantly agreed and now is a part of the dome's settlement. tommy speculates ranboo is secretly a mentally mutated creature-freak-thing and must be put down immediately, ranboo just wants to eat dinner in peace.

CHARLIE SICKLE - charlie is the latest member to join the settlement. the former front man for the hit pop group Roll With You. during an england tour, the nukes went off and front man charlie had been stranded during his burger lunch break. separated from the rest of his band mates. charlie has faced deterioration in his mental state due to the stress of surviving during such a gruesome time period. by the time wilbur finds himself at the receiving end of charlie's gun, he is already unhinged. wilbur manages to talk charlie into submission carefully, and decides to see if he can form a fragile alliance with charlie for some sort of twisted protection. charlie agrees, as he is so *sick* of being alone. charlie simply insists he is just a silly billy, everybody else thinks hes clinically insane

DOME- dome is a passive settlement founded by wilbur soot to bring in local survivors and give them a small and safe community to rebuild humanity. although this is a large goal in such a hostile and dangerous situation, tommy gives wilbur hope to keep going. who knows, maybe while scouting for survivors, they could stumble across phil or fundy

TED - ted is a serial killer, plain and simple. hired by schlatt to be a bodyguard after the fallout, ted had escaped his cinder block hell to essentially be a guard dog thanks to the nukes. it turns out prisons arent explosion-proof. ted is silent, he doesnt speak much, but he has a clear cut focus on what he wants. when he does speak, he talks clearly and normally. mostly, about his travels with his good buddy 'eddie nine pins', whom he apparently did everything with before getting caught

J. SCHLATT - schlatt is a larger than life business mogul, the ceo of a handful of companies that produce clothes, products, music, etc. hes an incredibly creative and intuitive man who knows how to get what he wants. he is the forefront leader of his settlement in the bunker. schlatt is falsely married to quackity, both of them agreeing to commit marriage fraud when they initially entered the world of entrepreneurship as it looks better and improves both of their charisma in social situations. their 'marriage' is entirely superficial and loveless, purely for aesthetics

A. QUACKITY - you might say quackity is a strange last name, he'd tell you to mind your own business and call you poor in two different languages. quackity runs a small 'medicine' dealing business on the surface. in exchange for fancy goods and food, quackity will give out medicine to needy survivors with no real idea of what any of it does. indirectly, quackity has killed 15+ people with his medication and harmed countless others. he doesnt feel bad, as long as he gets something out of it. he's been spoiled by his previously lavish life and just can't stand to let it all go

TOBY "TUBBO" SCHLATT - tubbo is the adoptive son of schlatt. while schlatt opted to adopt tubbo purely for aesthetics, just as he did with his marriage, he ended up getting somewhat attached to the little guy (and so did quackity). adopted at the age of 13, tubbo was quickly exposed to the inside mechanisms of business, the lying and cheating that goes on behind the retina and he has no interest in becoming a mogul like his father. rather, he opts for weapon studies and collecting a massive arsenal of different types of guns and bombs. tubbo sees the fallout as more of a playground than anything, being able to collect and test as many 'toys' as he wants. tubbo and tommy have crossed paths on several occasions, wherein they both will have a bit of a scuffle until theyre tired, then sit and talk. they consider each other friends, and neither of them know of the conflict between schlatt and wilbur

THE BUNKER - the bunker was once a safe haven for the one percent in england, but only a week into shelter, everybody was slaughtered. quackity and schlatt performed a hostile takeover of the bunker for no greater reason than the fact they wanted more space and more liberties. theyve now claimed the entire bunker as their home, and they want to see how far they can expand their power and control.
