Tumblr media
Although this is not the only photo I have of him as there is a little story behind it. Everyone convinced me that he wouldn't arrive for my birthday, so yesterday I didn't think he would arrive, but… he did arrive. It was while I was having dinner in a place with my friends and partner, everyone was giving me their present but they saved one for last, again I don't suspect anything because they put it in a box. I unwrapped the wrapping paper and there was a blue box and inside was this little guy. I was in a public place but it didn't stop me from screaming a little bit. 🙈
So as he was celebrating it was inevitable that he would come and meet the Spanish night 🥂
In the second babygirl was tired

Back home he had ''a family reunion''

And now this is the place I have designated for him, he couldn't be in better company 🙈

Season Two's God Loki Already Has His Own Funko Pop
Less than a week after the season two finale, Marvel has already revealed Loki's new form has his own Funko Pop!
[SPOILERS TO LOKI SEASON 2 AHEAD!]
Loki's second season is in the books. The first MCU show on Disney Plus to get a second season after other shows wrapped up their stories in one season, or they potentially have follow-ups on the way. A big moment for the MCU heading into 2024 at a time when some of its movies haven't been performing as well as usual at the box office. There was clearly a lot of faith in Loki season two as days after its finale, the show already has a line of merch headlined by a brand new Funko Pop!
If you're not all caught up on Loki season two, there are some pretty significant spoilers for its story ahead, particularly the finale.
The Funko Pop! is one of many Loki has received since Tom Hiddleston first played the character more than a decade ago, but this figure is notably different from the ones that have come before. That's because it's modeled after a form Loki took in last week's finale. Named God Loki, so seemingly giving the character's new form an official title that he didn't get in the show, the Pop! has the anti-hero sitting on the same throne he's left on when he was shown for the final time in season two.
God Loki's Pop! is a deluxe one which means a couple of things. First of all, it's more expensive than a regular figure, priced at $30 and exclusive to the Funko store once it goes on sale. Getting the deluxe treatment also means there's more to it than a regular Funko Pop! While this Loki variant won't stand taller than the rest of your figures like a Jumbo Pop!, it comes with a throne, hence it being labeled Deluxe and costing quite a bit more than your garden variety Funko Pop!
Season two's finale centered around Loki using his newfound ability to timeslip in an attempt to save reality itself. However, after centuries of trying to change the course of history, and revisiting He Who Remains at the end of time, Loki realizes the only way to prevent complete destruction is to ensure He Who Remains lives, and that means killing Sylvie. That is until Loki assumes the God form on show via the Pop! above. Upon doing so, Loki grabs all the branched timelines, turning them green, and assumes his new throne.
There's now no way of knowing when we see Loki in the MCU again, if at all. Hiddlestone is keeping quiet on whether his God of Mischief has a future after appearing to sacrifice himself for all time (always) the last time we saw him. Whether we're going to see Loki again or not, the Pop! above is one of many items Marvel has revealed - including a Loki-branded slow cooker for some reason - fans can buy to keep their love of Loki alive.
Pop! Deluxe God Loki
Slip through time with Pop! Loki! Help this god of mischief prevent world devastation when you welcome him into your Loki collection as this exclusive Deluxe Pop! God Loki on throne. The clock is ticking to add him to your Marvel Studios lineup! Vinyl bobblehead is approximately 5.9-inches tall.

I like that Security Breach Ruin has so many hoaxes, rn. It's like a 90's game, in here -- every copy of Ruin is personalized
Some fun hoaxes I've seen (YOU ARE ENTERING SPOILER TERRITORY, PROCEED AT UR OWN RISK X3):
"If you get under-par/a specific score in each hole/a hole in 1 in Gator Golf AR-cade, you can get Monty's Claws" You cannot ever get this item. I've heard people say that you can get a trophy/achievement for going under par, too, but I didn't get either? Also, I stg, there is at least 1 hole that is literally impossible to hole-in-1. I can accept that my inability to do it on hole 1 is a skrill issue, but I refuse to believe ANYONE can hole-in-1 the big spinny thing.
"There's a bowling arcade game in Bonnie Bowl" There is no bowling minigame -- they didn't finish it.
"You can collect animatronic parts/repair animatronics/get all items/etc for an alternate ending" There's just 3 endings, the only thing that decides which you get is whether you find the secret cams or go left or right on the 3rd series of turns at the end
"There's a 6th faztoken in Bonnie Bowl" I legit don't know if this is true or not, I have heard it several times but never seen the token, & it seems like Mr. Candy Cadet's story finishes after the 5th token, as he makes his air horn sound. Hard to imagine what a 6th coin would glean.
"There's a secret 4th ending" There's a 4th ending in the files, listed as "None," & it's most likely just a placeholder/to indicate a lack of ending (? My grasp on game development is too limited to properly describe this. In short -- no actual 4th ending)
"You can spare Roxy/you can press Esc instead of old yellering Roxy" To my knowledge, I don't think the game lets you leave that view until you hold E to do the deed? Even if it did, the game railroads you into offing the dog. Also, no previous actions/any objects in the room allow you to spare her. Door stays closed until you kill Rox'.
In general, Chica's Voice Box exists in the debug menu, but there's no Monty's Claws or Roxy's eyes. There's apparently a Monty's Photo, but nobody has been able to find it in-game? It seems as though repairing Chica is just an Easter egg that goes nowhere.
People seeing the leaked Funko merch (thanks again, Funko....) & thinking it would be for the DLC, which is par for the course, but is obviously untrue.
"If you get to the Bonnie room, you can revive him/give him Chica's Voicebox to fix him" You can only choose wether or not to deactivate the 4 Wet Floor bots.
I think this is fun stuff. Hoaxes are neat-o, especially bc they're a good vehicle to talk about the actual functions.

Hopefully it's okay to ask you a question because I'm wondering do you know why Gamora hasn't been included in the vol 3 merch? I ran across some stuff a while ago and when she wasn't included I assumed it was just a one off incident. But I just ran across some other merch and she's still absent. So I'm not sure if they are waiting for the movie to create merch for her or what
Firstly, it's always okay to ask me questions about this stuff! I love talking about film marketing (I did study this stuff for 2 years after all). Always feel free to send me asks about anything!
As for your question here's my honest answer: I'm not entirely sure. There are a few logical conclusions though.
Spoilers. Historically the first wave of MCU merch is very clean when it comes to the events of the movie, only featuring characters we know will be in it and vague aesthetics that align with the plot. So far the main advertisements and merch for Vol 3 have featured the Guardians in their comic-accurate group suits, which we haven't seen Gamora in. She might end up getting that suit in the movie, but we have no idea and that would be a major spoiler, so it's easier to leave her out of cereal box promotions and toy box art to keep that unified aesthetic.
Along the same lines as spoilers but deserving of their own point is the LEGO sets. LEGO sets are 50/50 when it comes to being accurate to the events of the movie because again, spoilers. The Endgame sets they released to go along with the movie had absolutely nothing to do with the actual plot because sets get leaked so often and Disney didn't want the plot of their biggest superhero movie ever to be ruined. The Wakanda Forever and Multiverse of Madness sets were also pretty vague if I remember correctly. It's easiest to leave Gamora out of sets like the Guardians HQ or the Bowie because while she might actually be in those scenes, we won't know until the movie comes out (we can assume she'll be on the Bowie at one point based on that shot of her pulling out a knife but it's not official). Since the LEGO sets and toy lines release weeks before the movies, it's again easier to exclude Gamora from these first waves of merch.
The historically bad representation of Gamora on merch already. Outside of figures like Funko Pops and Marvel Legends, it's always been nearly impossible to find officially licensed merch of just Gamora, especially cute good looking merch. This has also been an issue with most of the MCU's female heroes but it's definitely gotten better these past few years. Unfortunately due to Gamora's role in Vol 3 being pretty secretive, that positive change doesn't get to apply to her this first wave.
So basically TL;DR, don't stress about this too much. We're still 2 months out from the movie's release and a month away from promo and press starting. Yes, it sucks that so far Gamora isn't being featured in anything outside of posters and trailers, and yes it's valid to be upset and frustrated with that. But remember that there's still a whole other wave of merch to come after the movie's release, and Zoe Saldaña is still second-billed. She and Chris Pratt were the last two (humans) to wrap the movie. James Gunn wouldn't have brought Gamora back if he didn't want to. If you're still feeling uneasy or worried (which I totally get!) @enigma731 has some great posts about why Gamora will be fine.
Sorry this is so damn long, I kinda got carried away lol. But yeah I do wish there was at least like a Funko Pop or something and find it ridiculous that Kraglin of all people is getting more merch than the female lead, but I'm personally not getting too worried right now because we still have two months until the movie. It's not looking completely terrible right now. (Trust me, I was a Star Wars sequels stan during 2019 TROS press. That movie's plot was leaked via an official German Burger King ad. If it ever gets that bad for Vol 3 you will definitely hear about it from me lol).

POKEMON SV SPOILERS ------------------------------------------ really love that you get to see your friend’s dorms near the end of the game. it just ads on so much to their personalities you know?
makes sense nemona’s room is sorta bare. she’s out battling, no time to be stuck in her dorm! Love her huge flatscreen, though. I’m sure she watches lots of battle replays from various regions. And of course, her pokemon get premium food.
-- really love how clean and organized arven’s dorm is, he’ll even say so himself! that he cleans up everyday. very tidy guy. he’d make for an excellently hygienic chef. Tons of crates of fresh ingredients. And all of his books!! I wonder what manga series he’s been keeping up with?  He has two different sets. And one big shonen looking issue on his bed.  And then his top shelf books, which I assume are either cooking, or self help. His independence really shines through there. Really unfortunate why his independence was brought about, though.
last thing to note is his entire...full sized refrigerator. Bud...how did he get that in there? I will get back to this later when I explain my arven’s ‘big guy application’. he deserves to be big, okay --  Ahhh, and then penny. Oh my god. please clean your room. I’m sorry, but I BET it stinks a little in there.  She has empty noodle cups, take out, and pizza boxes everywhere. her bed (and probably floor) is covered in eevee hair. There are other boxes near her door, empty I assume? I wonder if they’re from a delivery service. Quite the hackerman hermit, her window is drawn closed, her funko pops high above the blinding light of her computer monitor...
-- UUGghhH, wish we would have been able to decorate our dorms, too. I’m crossing my fingers they will add this in the DLC. I mentioned it before, but La Primera makes a passing comment about our dorm room, as if it were meant to look far from stationary by the time we made it to being a champion. Probably would have functioned a lot like splatoon lockers. Something you can show off to other players while they visit. put of course, SV is a bit undercooked still

Marie and Ducky are both flocked, and Marie is pure snow white so I wasn't about to risk her getting dirty in open air any longer. Thank god she's gone this long without a single speck on her.
And as a bonus, guess who went stuff-diving and found EVERYBODY'S lightsabers?! (Spoiler it was me I did it)

Tumblr media Tumblr media
Doctor Strange Supreme.
Yes.
YES.

According to the info that leaked about “What If...?”  our Doctor Strange meets up with an alternate Doctor Strange who “lost the love of his life” and started to delve into dark magic.
Tumblr media
I really think I need to do a “Dark Doctor Strange” ‘verse now.  I won’t focus on it, but it’ll be there if anyone wants to give it a go.

Lets Talk About the Spoilers
After lots of traumatic experiences in the MCU, I read the spoilers for self preservation. I like to be prepared and I’m well aware of the fact that I don’t actually lose any enjoyment in the experience due to knowing what happens, as long as the film is well made.
There’s this film called the Black Widow that we were supposed to be seeing this week. It was clear from the moment the film was announced that its only possible issues would arise from the script.
Given that we’re already familiar with the character, that the director is excellent and that it’s a solo film (which means there isn’t a chance for it to lose focus) the only thing that could go wrong, is the script.
What could go wrong in the script, you ask?
For one thing, they could shoehorn a lot of shit to be introduced for the next phase of the MCU and exhaust us with unnecessary references to other characters we “miss”. Combine that with no new information that is significant enough to make us interested in the story of a character that is presumed dead, and you’ve got yourselves a mess I’d rather pretend never happened than consciously pay real money to watch in the theatres.
This is why scripts are important, in case anyone was wondering. No amount of gorgeous cinematography or Natasha’s braided hair can save that shit.
Thankfully, Scarlett had already said she wasn’t actually interested on making a film that was “the same old shit”. Well, she said it more eloquently but that was the point. Unfortunately for us, what’s interesting to the actress might not necessarily mean it’s of interest to us. Because while Scarlett might enjoy the chance to finally have a script that acknowledges Natasha is a human being with emotions, we are a bit beyond that point after what Endgame put us through. Which is why I’m here, needlessly over analysing.
I’m a control freak like that.
Here’s “Scarlett Anounces Black Widow to the World” level of happy, to make you feel better.
Tumblr media
Attention! Do not open this read more if you don’t want to read potential spoilers about the Black Widow movie.
Before anyone freaks out, I’d like to point out that spoilers are usually out of context, and as such don’t necessarily mean what they say.
Let’s start with the stuff that appear particularly bothersome:
The End Credit Scene
The spoiler that has made the most rounds in news sites and one that’s actually really easy for people who don’t dwell too deeply into storytelling and just write Marvel articles for the clicks to make some guesswork on, is that after the end credits the Burton family can be seen in front of Natasha’s grave.
On a superficial “eNDgAMe waS AmAZIng pOor NAtasHA FinaLLy gOT her FunERal” level, that scene seems obvious, and understandable, and acceptable.
On my level of “Has been involved in the MCU specifically for Natasha Romanoff and has spent years learning about and making films”, that sentence makes me want to buy an MCU Blu-ray box set and burn it in my garden while I dance around it and holler in fits of rage.
So which one is it, you ask? What if the end credit scene IS Marvel attempting to “pay its respects” in a spectacularly too-little-too-late way?
My answer is: It Depends.
What’s the context? Because if the last I see of Natasha before that end credits is her joining Cap in the mindset we met her in when IW happened, welp, Phase 3 on Blue-ray is £45 that I’ll never see again. I’ll make sure not to inhale any fumes while I burn that shit to the ground.
BUT, if the plot of the film gives us reason to believe that the news of Natasha’s demise might have been greatly exaggerated then that end credit scene is the most perfect way to say goodbye to Natasha Romanoff, Superspy extraordinaire. In this case, the news of Hawkeye are even more welcome because lets remember, he’s the only one who was there in Vormir, the others just had to take his word that Natasha died and, we the viewers? Well, we’re the ones most easily fooled in cases like these.
So I’d be glad for that end credit scene if and only if Natasha remains out there after having saved her family and is now moving in the shadows, free of the burdens of her past, which brings us to the other spoiler available online
The MacGuffin/ Foxcharge
According to one rumour, the Foxcharge is "a sort of clean slate digital eraser that gets rid of your prints, face, DNA in any government databases”
I hate MacGuffins. I really do. I hated them before Endgame, and I hate them with a passion now. As long as it takes an entirely secondary role to something else, or works as motivation for other things I don’t mind them.
Since the entire cast has been that exuberant about their characters and how deeply they’ve been examined in this film, I’m going to assume the MacGuffin does indeed take a secondary role in the greater plot so, ok.
On a first glance it doesn’t exactly sound like exhilarating storytelling material but, again, it depends a lot on the context. If this film takes place after Civil War, and not after Winter Soldier, why would Natasha be looking for ways to erase her data from databases? It depends a lot on how the film handles it. As a storytelling element it could range anywhere from derivative to exhilarating. Exhilarating it being something that Clint or Yelena use that allows Natasha to disappear entirely after the events of Endgame like the badass superspy she is.
The other theory is the one that insists the stuff Natasha was seen carrying (and is holding in one of the Funko dolls) were Pym Particles, but I find that highly unlikely. Like we’ve said before, if they want to bring Natasha back there’s countless ways for them to do it. I don’t think they’d like to go down the Time Travel road again so while I can’t be entirely sure, I doubt that that’s what this is about.
Yelena is Actually a Bad Guy/Double Agent
That would actually be on brand. If Yelena is to be a member of an as of yet unannounced Thunderbolts team for the MCU and works for Ross during the events of the Black Widow film, it would actually be a good call.
Because if there’s some kind of “passing of the torch” happening here, at the very least they should make sure to make Yelena and Natasha as different people as possible. It’s bad enough that right now Natasha is considered dead in the MCU, I would’t like to rage for also having her traded in for a younger model. Ew.
Taskmaster Doesn’t Actually Die
Very much a plot element and, to me at least, inconsequential, one way or the other.
Melina Is Actually the One Who Restarts the Red Room
That would also make for a very interesting character, not to mention interesting dynamics within the little family-like unit the characters seem to have in the film.
The Film Makes Natasha Appreciate the American Family She Found in the Avengers
Um.... Duh. That’s not much of a spoiler, although if this is a “Russians Bad, Americans Good” kind of thing- No. Cate wouldn’t do this to us.
We’ve talked about this before, but it seems that this film will help Natasha figure out the things that matter to her, that make her life worth living, that make her realise there are things to live for, not just to die for. And like we’ve said before that makes for a satisfying film, in and of itself, but within the context of Endgame it does come a bit as too-little-too-late.
I did say in the past, and I still believe it, that in order for this film to be satisfying for the fans of Natasha, it can’t pretend Endgame didn’t happen. Or even worse, pretend it didn’t happen and then have an “oh wait, here’s a fake funeral moment with only the Burtons paying their respects to Natasha even though she led the Avengers for 5 years and interacted with almost every single MCU character” moment.
When asked during an interview, Scarlett said that Feige announced to her the Black Widow film, AND Natasha’s death at roughly the same time. And while the Endgame writers chose to ignore Natasha’s film, I’m hoping the Black Widow writing team didn’t ignore Natasha’s fate in Endgame.
To conclude, while they don’t seem like much, these spoilers show potential. I can understand if some would rather hold their hopes, and to a level I do so as well, but I have placed a lot of trust in the creative team here. We can only hope that they won’t let Natasha down.
