uhhh, so TFGS headcanons????? fuck
(below cut)
Rosa
- when Rosa was younger, like 7-10 yrs old kinda, she didnt know how to say words like 'phenomenon', the 'f' sound of 'ph' confused her so much
- when she first started working at the gas station, she hadn't had any paranormal experiences. She also didn't believe in the Higher Realms
- Rosa never really was friends with Tony, even though they worked alot of day shifts together
- when she was a teenager, she listened to South Park Mexican absolutely RELIGIOUSLY
- she LOVESSSS Kali Uchis
————
Jerry
(strangest guy..,,.,. the man ever)
- Jerry listens to the strangest shit, he managed to find an unreleased album from Frank Sinatra??
- absolute glow-in-the-dark fanatic. Shoelaces, shirts, jewelery, literally ANYTHING
- makes references to the most obscure shit ever. From commercials to newspapers, it's insane
- funko pop collector. To the point that he forgets which he has, and he accidentally buys the same ones
- he LOVES the hunger games, he has the books and blu-ray discs and everything
- sneezes SO. FUCKING. LOUD. that shit could wake the dead and enlighten the deaf
————
Jack
- he has so many books he has to put them shits in those huge ass plastic boxes, you know the ones??
- with all the shit he's seen at the gas station, he really does NOT care if someone dies and it shows up on the news
- Jerry keeps giving him beads and rocks. He doesn't know what to do with them so he puts them into the glove department in his car
- sometimes Jack gets so detached from reality that seeing viscerally bright and neon colors is a relief for him
- he's double jointed!! He doesn't use this weird fucking thing often because it's kinda useless but still
————
Tony/Carlos
(so delusional about this fucker what)
- he was in track for a little while in middle school, runs so fast it's fucking scary
- catholic, but Tony is SURE he's going to hell
- knows how to use a crossbow very, VERY well!! No particular reason for this but crossbows are a really fucking hot weapon
- fucking converse shoe wearer I swear
- mostly writes in pen, because pencils don't really look that nice with the way he writes
- definitely gatekeeps where he buys his clothes (thrift stores)
- Tony doesn't really like wearing normal T-shirts, the sleeves have to end just above the elbow for him to be comfortable while wearing it.
- prefers savory to sweet, but he does occasionally like something sugary.

Blackstorm would look somethingblike this, but with two wheels also on his calves and more gold and kibble on him, and those are supposed to be pointy finials & there's supposed to be two pairs of them. This picrew would be something like (a Funko Pop version of) G1/IDW Blackstorm i suppose.
Tumblr media
Details vary by continuity, but his name was originally "Ion something" (i couldn't think of a good diminutive) and he was a homeless, starving youngling during the early war or just before the war. He had a chance meeting with Megatron, who personally recruited him into the Decepticons, and he changed his name to Blackstorm. He became Megatron's personal assassin/general enforcer, usually Soundwave is technically his boss but he usually gets his orders straight from Megatron.
Blackstorm is highly intelligent and possesses some extreme bravery, determination, conviction, resolve, and loyalty. Even when he thinks there's no hope, he'll keep fighting until until he dies. Usually he doesn't die though, he has a knack for surviving against impossible odds. He tries to act professional and isn't personally sadistic or murderous, but he's an ideological fanatic pefectly willing to use extreme force to achieve his ends and hate and anger are what keep him going. He also carries long grudges and cannot compromise his ideals. At least he's genuinely completely selfless about "fixing" the world.
Blackstorm is very ideological, but his devotion to Megatron is also incredibly personal; in IDW1 and Earthspark he would defect with Megatron, despite hating the Autobots and not having changed at all, because he would follow Megatron all the way to hell and the other Decepticons are less important, and because Megatron needs backup.
Whether Megatron actually cares about Blackstorm varies by continuity.
Oooo ok that sounds cool! His design looks pretty interesting

Hi Tumblr, I'm Mr.Gweebster! Nice to meet you.
Hello hello - it's been a long time since I have been on this site. To be honest I wasn't sure if Tumblr still had a pulse or not. Not exactly sure what my goal for this tumblr is... if I even have one. I remember way back when tumblr was the place to be for all kinds of things. I guess I should introduce myself, huh?
I'm in my 30s, a big gaymer nerd, casual twitch streamer, horror movie fanatic, Funko Pop Collector & hopeless daydreamer.
Some of my favorite games are: > Dead By Daylight (survivor/Dwight main) > The Sims > Pokemon > Animal Crossing New Horizons > Life is Strange series > Dark Picture Anthology series > Luigi's Mansion
Some of my favorite movies are: > Night of the Living Dead (1968) > Aliens > The Virgin Suicides > Hell House LLC > The Cleansing Hour > The Exorcist > Belle
Well... its nice to meet you and look forward to seeing where this goes.

Rules: Tag 10 people you want to get to know better
I was tagged by @sapphic-slasher (thank you so much Giselle!!)
Favorite time of the year?: Autumn, for sure!! It’s not too hot or too cold, the leaves turning red and yellow and orange and falling off the trees makes everything look especially pretty, and as anyone who’s been around me for longer than 10 seconds most likely already knows, I love Halloween and the spooky time of year :P And I love pumpkin spice EVERYTHING
Comfort food: CHOCOLATE and cotton candy flavored anything but especially ice cream :P And because I’m the movie fanatic that I am, popcorn.
Do you collect something?: I’m kind of in the same boat as Giselle, with collecting collections :P I collect Funko POPs, pins, charms, jewelry, movie posters, DVDs, plushies, art books, various other memorabilia, the list goes on and on XD I just have that autistic dragon hoarder brain that urges me to COLLECT STUFF 8D
Favorite drink: I am a BIG OLD SLUT FOR SOFT DRINKS. Pepsi is the main enabler of my caffeine addiction, but I’ll also shill for root beer every chance I get, and I make a habit of trying all of the different Coke flavors I can possibly get my little gremlin hands on.
Favorite song/artist: AGAIN, everyone who’s even taken a cursory glance at me or my blog knows I am a TAYLOR SWIFT STAN FIRST and a human being second :P though among other artists I would consider myself a stan for are Florence + the Machine, Emilie Autumn, Halsey, and Harry Styles :3
Current favorite songs: at the moment, I’m obsessed with the Cyrano 2022 movie soundtrack (especially Overcome and I Need More just to name a couple), and Florence’s new album Dance Fever, my fave songs of which include Free, Dream Girl Evil, and Choreomania but the whole album is a VIBE.
Favorite fics: nothing you can prove :P I mean HEY IF YOU WANNA READ MY FICS, I’m DarkQueenSigyn on AO3 XD
I’m tagging (with no obligation of course): @malhare @codedreams @maddymoreau @gellavonhamster @afoxnamedmulder

My Fan Autoethnography
For starters, I am currently a fan mostly involved with the Twenty One Pilots (TOP) fan community (some current involvement with Fall Out Boy and Linkin Park, etc.). I interact with posts and follow the band and people related to the band on Instagram and heavily on Twitter/"X". I have a fan account where I post my thoughts about Twenty One Pilots' releases, make and post memes, and talk with fans online. On most nights I listen to "Spaces" on Twitter/"X" where TOP fans speak (like Discord calls) about their love for the band and their music--and about their day, of course. I do not always actually speak in these spaces but I do occasionally if I have time and have the quiet to do so. I mostly interact with fan posts and talk in fan group chats online. I have been a fan ("fanatic?") of this band for 9 years and so far have seen them in concert six times over the years. I plan on seeing them three more times this year in Orlando and in their hometown of Columbus, Ohio (first time doing that). In the past, I had seen them live on two legs of their "Bandito Tour" in 2019, seen them in Atlanta, Georgia on their "Takeover Tour" in 2021, and New York during their "Icy Tour" in 2022. This was due to the fact that they decided to avoid Florida for tours during that entire album cycle... :|

I post videos and whatnot from the concerts I go to here: www.instagram.com/pattyslump
I used to write bits of fanfiction when I was a teenager but I no longer really do that except for a laugh on rare occasion. I do sometimes read fanfiction for enjoyment with other fans. As this band is very lore heavy, I do often watch and read fan theories on social media and YouTube to make sure I understand and I am up-to-date on things. I do 'attempt' to theorize online when I am confident in the implications of a portion of the lore. I rewatch music videos and so on like many of the other fans do to make sure I have picked up on any alternate meanings or lore details that I may not have noticed the first time or four. I connect much of the narrative/lore behind TOP's albums to my own life as they tend to leave room for that.
I have lots of merchandise from TOP (and other bands too!) that consists of about 50 or so T-shirts, all of their albums on CD and most on Vinyl, Funkos, accessories by the band or related to what the band wears, and fanart. I do collect some rarer merchandise like the Blurryface Live vinyl which only had a few hundred copies made when it was first released in 2015. I caught a drumstick during my second time seeing them live. I have collected confetti (referred to as "Trees Confetti" since they always end with that song) from each of the shows I have been to. I have a tattoo that is related to a lyric from a song by TOP and mental health around my wrist. I wholeheartedly believe that if I didn't have this band to cling onto all these years, I would not be here. They definitely were my motivation to get me through my hardships when everything else would get lost. I have a personal attachment to this band as they helped me get through very traumatic moments in my life. Yes, I am one of those fans, deal with it. So, in terms of why people get into fandom and why it means so much to some people, let's just say: I get it.
Analysis questions:
I do believe fandom often has a "us" vs. "them" mentality threaded within it. People identify so dearly to their fandom(s) and the things they like that it does essentially define them as a person or even defines a period of time in their life. As a result of this, fans are very protective as a fandom defines a part of them and their in-group. I have seen this very much upfront in my own fandoms, especially when someone attacks a band or something about them online and everyone is so quick to counter back. Feels like an everyday occurrance we are going after someone who hates on TOP just so they could get more interactions. For me, I have been guilty of doing this at times. Defending. The band and the fans mean so much to me that it feels like I would do anything to prove to someone how great everyone involved is. Unless the band turns out to be bad people then I don't know what I'd do. :| We all have our biases, I guess... 3. Hoo boy! Anonymity definetly gives fans a confidence that may be hard to find in their daily real lives, I can say that much. This leads fans to post things especially without thought of who is seeing it, this includes TOP and the people that surround the band. People post more explicit artwork, make more offensive jokes, and so forth. People have gotten way too comfortable online. That is, before the lead singer, Tyler Joseph, has started liking posts that talk about him when he is not even tagged in them... people are starting to be a little more careful about what they post. We'll see how long that lasts. 5. As the band TOP loves to make up new words, phrases, and symbols that they fill with meaning, fans eat that stuff up. There are words associated with the narrative behind their most recent albums that can be a code or metaphor for parts of people's lives and their mental health. Due to this, fans that have gone deep enough to learn more about these terms that are very specific to the TOP fandom, these words and symbols can bleed into spaces beyond fandom spaces. For instance, Dema is not a real word (not the meaning put out there when you look it up), represents negative places you want to avoid in your mind and self-sabotaging patterns within your life. The phrase "Sahlo Folina" means nothing except what TOP made it mean, the phrase you call out to those around you when you need help, whether that be needing to talk to a friend or seeking out professional help for mental health difficulties. It's acknowledging the importance of getting help when you know it is best for you--taking that leap. Then, there's also always running jokes from interviews and different videos of the band that are shared between the band and the fans that are hilarious to bring up in daily conversation. So, yeah, I do use these phrases or terms commonly said in the fandom in real life too sometimes. It is also cool when I bring these terms up in conversation and someone I didn't know was a fan makes me aware that they are. It's sick.

The Evolution of Vinyl Figures: Searching Back once again to Funko Pop's Origins
In the world of collectibles, several manufacturers have built as big an impact lately as Funko Pop. Using its special stylized vinyl results, addressing a thorough array of people from films, TV series, comics, and more, Funko Pop has solidified itself as a popular among collectors and place lifestyle fanatics alike. But what exactly is it about these results that's caught the hearts and imaginations of so several? Funko Pop
Roots and Evolution Funko, initially a bobblehead company, was founded by Henry Becker in 1998. It wasn't till 2010 that the first Funko Place plastic figures were introduced. These numbers included distinctive, oversized heads, small figures, and captured the substance of pop lifestyle people in ways that had never been seen before.
The attraction was instant. Supporters flocked to obtain renditions of their favorite heroes, leading to the exponential expansion of the line. From legendary characters like Superman and Spider-Man to cult favorites and even uncommon and unknown results, there's a Funko Place for almost every fandom.
Significantly more than Merely a Doll While at first glance, a Funko Pop could seem such as for instance a fun little figure, for a lot of, it represents a tangible little bit of a common movie, show, or comic. They're mementos of the reports and people that have influenced, influenced, or entertained.
Obtaining these results is more than a spare time activity for most enthusiasts. It's a method to relate solely to the others, observe discussed pursuits, and even invest, as some limited release results have increased in value.
The Community and Beyond The rise of Funko Pop wouldn't be as significant without its enthusiastic community. Social media marketing programs are overflowing with collectors showing down their latest take, discussing uncommon finds, and trading with others. The unboxing videos and evaluations on tools like YouTube more solidify the brand's immense popularity.
Moreover, events and lover events frequently have special results, creating them hot locations for die-hard collectors. Funko's own annual occasion, "Funko Fair," shows new releases and exclusive figures, drawing interest from around the world.
A Expression of Place Culture The large array of people displayed in the Funko Pop point is really a testament to its importance in sending popular culture. From famous heroes of yesteryears to the newest sensations, there's a continuing evolution in the line-up, ensuring that it remains relevant and attractive to supporters of most ages and tastes.
The Potential of Funko Place While trends in the model and treasured business are ever-changing, the appeal of Funko Place shows no signs of waning. The company's responsibility to expanding their range and touching into new and diverse fandoms assures that there's generally anything new on the horizon.
In conclusion, Funko Place is not only a vintage; it's a phenomenon. It sinks into our love for stories, people, and provided national experiences. So long as pop tradition thrives, it's safe to state, so may the reputation of Funko Pop.

That funko is really cool but you know that people make custom funkos for like 50 dollars that are amazing and you can pick your favorite aemond outfit , him with the eye patch, without, him young, etc?
Just sad when people would rather support nft instead of small businesses that really work hard and care about you, not a cash grab. Give it a thought
Hey I understand your concern, but I do not support NFTs in general and I did not give any of my money to Funko nor any of their affiliates directly. The sale for the HOTD funko NFTs is long over and I bought this from a third party reseller who is not associated with them whatsoever…
I didn’t want to participate in the NFT event (which is kinda like a mystery pack thing) that’s why I chose to wait, consequentially paying a larger amount of money for it, but I worked hard for that money and I just wanted to treat myself to this funko in particular, it’s that simple really. I don’t plan on turning into an NFT fanatic or anything, this is the only one I’ve bought and I intend on keeping it that way
Etsy is one of my most utilized websites in general, I myself used to run a small art business, so please try not to make generalized assumptions abt someone based on a single purchase…

Thing I’m looking forward to:
There are actually a few good things coming up. I started taking swimming class last week, and that’s going to become a regular thing, AND next week, I get to go to the studio to take barre! Also, at the end of the month, DD and I are continuing the concert tour with a FFDP concert.
Needless things to collect:
I don’t exactly know… Most of my character/fandom associated things things have a use (like a coffee cup), or they’re single collectables (like one random funko pop). I used to be fanatical about polished rocks, and, though I still love them and use them as fidgets, I don’t feel the need to acquire any more. I also kind of like to get all the pieces of a certain thing’s release/set, like buying all the DVDs of a TV show as each season becomes available, or all the listed colors of a certain set of pajamas. Maybe that’s an OCD thing. But I feel like it’s kind of a security thing, like I know I won’t be scrolling ebay for a missing piece only to find out that it’s become some multi thousand dollar retro limited edition that’s going to break either my heart (or my bank—jk).

Funko Plans to Launch Jay and Silent Bob NFT Collection via the Digital Collectibles Platform Droppp
Tumblr media
Three months ago, Funko Inc., disclosed that it was entering the non-fungible token (NFT) industry when it announced it acquired a majority ownership stake in the NFT startup Tokenwave. At the time, Funko’s CEO Brian Mariotti explained that “Funko Pop digital NFTs” have the potential to be a “game-changer.” On Friday, Funko announced the company is launching a new NFT collection featuring Jay and Silent Bob from the filmmaker Kevin Smith’s Clerks films.
Funko to Introduce Jay and Silent Bob Non-Fungible Tokens and Corresponding Physical Versions
The cult classic characters from the Clerks movies, Jay and Silent Bob, will be showcased in a new non-fungible token (NFT) collection released by the publicly-listed pop-culture consumer products firm Funko (Nasdaq: FNKO). Jay and Silent Bob are best known for appearing in the Clerks films, but they also appear in all of Kevin Smith’s Askewniverse movies. The duo also star in their own films “Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back,” “Jay & Silent Bob’s Super Groovy Cartoon Movie,” and “Jay and Silent Bob Reboot.” Funko announced the Jay and Silent Bob NFT collection on Friday via Twitter and Facebook and noted that the collection will drop on Tuesday, July 26, 2022. “Jay and Silent Bob x Funko Series 1 Digital Pop! coming soon to Droppp,” Funko tweeted. The website digital.funko.com gives a bit more information on the upcoming Jay and Silent Bob NFT compilation. According to the site, Funko is releasing Jay and Silent Bob digital collectibles, but also physical versions of the Jay and Silent Bob Funko Pop characters will be created as well.
Funko’s Digital Pop NFTs Join Dozens of Well Known Brands Issuing Digital Collectible Products
Prior to announcing the Jay and Silent Bob NFTs, Funko has teamed up with well known brands like DC Comics and Warner Bros. Funko Digital Pop non-fungible tokens are similar to the products Funko sells in stores as they feature Funko’s distinctive style. The Funko Digital Pop Jay and Silent Bob NFTs will be made available via the NFT platform Droppp. While the NFTs will stem from the Droppp platform, Funko digital collectibles are issued on the Wax blockchain network. In addition to the NFTs, Funko will be showcasing “an immersive, fan-focused community experience” at the San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) from July 21 to July 24, 2022. Funko’s new blockchain-based digital products join a slew of well known brands that have entered the NFT and metaverse industry during the last few years. Brands that have participated in the NFT space so far include Topps, Adidas, Arizona Iced Tea, Gannett, McDonald’s, Budweiser, Fanatics, WWE, Bicycle, Warner Bros., Pepsi, Nike, Coca-Cola, Rolling Stone, DeLorean Motor Company (DMC), and Marvel. Despite the brand recognition and celebrities entering the fray, NFT sales are down 49% this month lower than the 30 days prior, according to cryptoslam.io statistics on July 15. What do you think about Funko introducing Jay and Silent Bob NFTs? Let us know what you think about this subject in the comments section below. Read the full article
