Okay but Robbie and Anjali being on Candela Obscura is NOT helping the theory that Dorian and Fy'ra Rai will make appearances back on Critical Role with Ashton, Laudna and Orym

HOLY SHIT WAIT
They were able to add 3 people to the table in episode 64
Aimee, Robbie and Anjali could theoretically fit at the table
Now I know it was absolute chaos but it worked
We could have a crown keepers x bells hells episode

-
Dariax 💚
"Baaaabe"
It's a drawn out whine emphasised with grabby hands as if he's been aching for your touch after so many years apart. But in reality, it's just been an hour spent scouting. He tugs on lapels of your long coat, gives you puppy eyes until you incline just a little bit to meet his height so he can nudge your nose with his. He immediately breaks out in a smile, satisfied, and murmurs a sweet "Hi, baby."
"Honey"
Oddly domestic but he says it with a sly bite to his inner cheek and a raised brow, a dirty smile on his face before you decide to smother him with so many kisses that he erupts with giggles - yes, giggles. He hums happily, and the vibration in his chest echoes the butterflies in your stomach.
"Bubba"
Your thoughts are interrupted by the repeatedly cooed nickname and the accompanied poke to your cheek. Then another. And another. You snatch his wrist to stop his prodding and tear your gaze away from the book in your lap only to come nose to nose with the sorcerer. He's beaming at you, and asks very nicely if you'll read aloud to him.
-
Fy'ra Rai 💚
"My darling"
She places one of your hands over her heart and its comforting staccato, tucks her face into your neck and whispers sweet words and promises that make your eyes tear up. She's got a hard exterior, but a soft inside, and is an unexpected romantic.
"Beloved"
It's said in passing, in little moments that are so normal, so ordinary and they should not feel important - but they do. Because she makes you feel special, cherished, protected and cared for. Planning where the group will go next, she nudges her hip with yours while observing the group's map. Dariax and Opal exchange knowing looks beside you, but she rolls her eyes with a good natured smile when she moves to hold your hand.
"Wildfire"
It's a cheekier side to her, one that not many are privy to. You're getting ready for bed, tugging on a soft sleep shirt when you hear a light knock on the door. She's leaning on the doorframe with folded arms and a soft smile, hair flicking quietly and her expression glows with warmth at the sight of you.
-
Opal 💚
"Lucky"
She leans up - the heels in the boots she's currently wearing not offering a lot of height - and presses a sticky sweet kiss to your cheek. You can feel her fondness and that evil smirk against your skin. She leaves behind a red print of her lips behind as a memento, and chooses not to tell you. It's your responsibility to eventually find a mirror and attempt to wash it off.
"Sugar"
The drawl in her voice is a little more prominent when she wants your attention. She holds a slice of her pie up for you to taste, a family recipe. She loves taking you to Byroden, introducing you to her hometown and its people and traditions. It's nice to have someone to share it all with.
"Sweets"
She hates mornings. Her hair sticks up at impossible angles and there's a crease between her brows due to her grumpy face. But then you hand her some coffee, an extra spoonful of sugar mixed into the dark roast, and she takes it gratefully from where she's curled up in your shared bed. She seems a bit more awake when she tugs you down for a thankful cuddle.
-
Cyrus 💚
"Buddy"
He's so darn awkward oh my god. He's so bad at flirting before you get together, and he sort of accidentally friend zoned you clumsily in the very beginning. You still tease him about it to this day, making him flush bashfully.
"Beautiful"
When he's not actively trying, he actually can be very smooth. Your chin is pinched between his fingers, and his face is just a breadth away from your own, his eyes sparkling as he drags his gaze from your lips to your eyes. You feel all warm and gooey inside, and he lets out a nervous chuckle when you whisper back that he's also quite pretty.
"Cookie"
When you're scolding him for getting in the way of danger, or frustrated after a long day of travel, he reaches out to cup your face softly. He pouts, lips pursed tightly, and it's so endearing that you slowly feel that tension begin to fade. Suddenly, he squishes your cheeks a little and kisses the tip of your nose, thumbs smoothing your skin comfortingly while he asks what he can do to make it better. You can't help but fall into his arms.

I have so much anxiety for Dorian.
His brother is transported somewhere else.. hopefully with Fyra Rai,Morri and Opal
Opal has gotten darker so now if Cyrus is with Opal there's concern that Cyrus is in more danger
i honestly think Cyrus is a walking death flag (Matt made multiple comments "if I die" "if I can't make it home" "you should go home") so if Cyrus dies Dorian's going to have to explain when he goes home ( he's gotta go home at some point. Especially if his brother dies bc their parents deserve to know)
His home the Silken Squall is a floating tent city.... WHAT'S MAKING IT FLOAT? If it's magic is the Applebee Soulcycle affecting it? Is it still floating?! Do they have a home still
He's got the Spider queen to still deal with (the multiple deals he's made) unless she's like "you know what ur not worth the time"
Poska is still increasing the Nameless Ones and there's wanted signs with the EXU group sketches.
For all he knows Orym and possibly Bells Hells is dead or something ( hasn't received any messages since the last one being told to hide underground) I really want to know what Dorian is doing and how's he doing. At least he has Dariax 😊

Interesting things about the Dorian and the Spider Queen dream sequence, specifically in the context of the info we got abt the missing week during the EXU wrap up:
He starts out trying to save Fyra from being swallowed by this darkness as she waves him away from herself--this is implied to be a mirror to him taking the circlet and leaving her behind in a pocket dimension in the playtest, refusing to leave the circlet behind as she was asking him to. For added context, Fyra was new to the game at this point in the playtests while the rest of the CK had been together for a bit prior. This combined with the other stuff Robbie says in the wrap-up puts reasons Dorian's actions in both scenarios in an interesting light--Robbie states that Dorian's thing is that he trusts and prioritizes his friends above everyone else, and is very distrustful of newcomers to the group. His actions towards Fyra in the playtest as well as his initial hostility towards her in the campaign reflect this. However, his actions in this dream--Aabria says something along the lines of "this isn't how it went" when he goes to try to save Fyra from the darkness--are a new and opposite action to what he took before, despite the fact that Fyra is equally new and he is presumably similarly distrustful of her now.
I am a little confused about what happened in the playtest/missing week; specifically as to whether Dorian leaving Fyra was the primary "betrayal," or if Fyra had intended to stay behind to save the rest of them but had also intended to keep the circlet with her in the pocket dimension, and it was more Dorian refusing to give it up and leaving with it that was the betrayal. If it's the former case, it's interesting that this time despite his earlier irritation with her he tries to save her anyway, to the extent that he is willing to begin negotiations with the Spider Queen based on her predicament and his lack of knowledge about it. Maybe he's grown just a teeeny bit and his perspective on Fyra is slightly different this time around despite his earlier hostility towards her, or maybe he's got some subconscious guilt about last time. If it's the latter case, Dorian attempting to save Fyra here and winding up bargaining with the Spider Queen to do so is a little bit of a dark reflection, implying a cycle of grabbing that crown he apparently can't break out of.
With respect to the bargaining itself, it's interesting that the initial bargain appears to be over Dorian's memories. He's frustrated with his lack of understanding about their current situation with the Spider Queen's tricks, and she implies that the knowledge in his memories will explain to him some of this information--at least why he has been shown Fyra in this dream. He goes in right away offering "almost anything" in exchange for this knowledge. I'm curious about his exact motivations in this section, as if Dorian's primary drive is protecting his friends, this section tracks less directly than the remainder of his bargaining. I suspect that it might be related to the underlying feeling of helplessness due to lack of knowledge, seeing Fyra being engulfed and his friends affected by the Spider Queen's tricks earlier in the night and not knowing why (i think his later questions of "is that why youve taken [Fyra]? Is that why youre trying to take--[presumably one of the others]" when she asks for a champion support this) but it's not completely clear to me if that's all there is to it or if there's a bit of selfish"I just want to know" or anything else fueling that really reckless offer as well.
The NEXT part of the bargain is the part I always remember, which initially starts as Dorian setting limits for what the Spider Queen can fuck with within his offer of "almost anything" when she asks him for a champion. He starts off by replying "no one from our group"--as though it's a limit on his payment for his memories eg she gives him the memories and he gives her a champion but not any of the CKs. But as the conversation progresses the conditions sort of stretch--he says, "If I brought you Poska, would you leave my friends and I alone," and the bargain seems to shift more towards offering her a champion in exchange for complete immunity from her interference for the CKs (rather than just "none of them have to be her champion"). Obviously the memories are still on the table, but when Dorian makes the offer to bring her Poska to save the CKs the immediate bargain in the front of his mind is more one of "Wild amounts of power to Poska in exchange for his friends' safety," which even more than the memories bargain plays so strongly into that fatal flaw of total prioritization of his friends.
The fact that the Spider Queen accepts his admittance that he's willing to sacrifice the wellbeing of at least an entire city to protect his friends and the subsequent consequences to his morality/psyche that sincerely making that offer to her causes as payment for his memorie, without requiring him to actually follow through on it, is sooooo fucking good. He said he would do it. He was willing to do it. He's different now that he knows that about himself, and that's good enough for her.
Not important but Fyra calling Dorian "little brother" gets me in the chest every time and his face on getting back his memories and having the realization that she remembers his betrayal and yet is still trying her best to keep and protect him with no held grudge or malice is. Oof.

Didn't the Crown Keepers have a kind of "reversal" situation too at the beginning of EXU? I don't recall the details but there was a thing going on about them having "lived" some events but then losing their memories and somehow starting anew? Dorian and Fyra did have some memory bits tho (I think during the first time Dorian sort of betrayed Fyra?)
I only watched the first six episodes of ExU prime—truly meant to finish but then C3 started and I can barely tread water in one campaign at once, still hoping to get back to it though!—so if someone else wants to take this one, reblog and add away.
That said, this absolutely rings a bell. I think there was something with Fy’ra having met all of them before in the time they didn’t remember. Which… holy shit. If true, potentially HUGE.
@xanthera, did you watch ExU?
