Hii!! I love your writing and was wondering if you could write something w the k13 + ss and whether or not they would catch you if you fell. Mybe also if you jumped into their arms, like that one trend a while back (like if they were holding something but you jump at them, what would they do)/and maybe how they are with trust falls!

Naruto Uzumaki

He would catch you if you jumped, but he doesn’t even realize he did.

Then he’s confused because… what just happened?

He slowly puts you down

He’d always catch people in a trust fall too, but he can’t bring himself to fall back when doing a trust fall.

He wants to trust, but he can’t.

Sasuke Uchiha

Depends…

He might step out of the way if he’s not in a good mood or didn’t even process what you were doing.

If he likes you, he’ll likely catch you. Then complain.

Doesn’t trust anybody for a trust fall, but he’ll catch you if you do a trust fall.

Sakura Haruno

Catches you with full intention to do so.

She’ll hold you for a second cuz she’s strong and you don’t bother her.

When she does put you do, she asks what you did that for.

She’ll trust you for a trust fall. She doesn’t trust just anybody, so that’s a compliment.

And of course, she’ll catch you.

Sai

Catches you.

Tells you he read about something like this.

Tells you what it means.

If that’s not what you mean, or if it’s outlandish, you choose rather you slap him or explain to him how that’s not okay. Then probably slap him for his response (I don’t agree with slapping ppl, but canon typical violence guys)

He’ll catch you if you do a trust fall. Thinks it’s good for bonding so he’ll fall too!

Shikamaru Nara

Catches you, but is shocked and like “what??”

Puts you down like immediately.

Somewhere in there, he said “what a drag.”

He’s not doing a trust fall, he doesn’t care.

But if you screamed, “trust fall” and just fell back, he’ll catch you.

Choji Akimichi

Catches you without question. He didn’t fully realize what was going on, but he would do it over and purposely catch you too.

He will carry you around if you want afterwards.

Always catches you in a trust fall.

He trusts you and Shikamaru to catch him in a trust fall, but Shikamaru always loudly complains about it so more so you.

Ino Yamanaka

She catches you, but probably scolds you for just jumping on her.

Like give her some warning??

Especially if she had anything in her hands.

She can’t bring herself to fall back in a trust fall, even if she trusts the person. She’ll shout about not wanting to do it, but eventually she’ll do it to prove herself.

She always catches you, but some people will get dropped if they try.

Kiba Inuzuka

He probably does the same thing to you.

Like “CATCH ME” and a man that is way too big and buff is flying through the air, right at you.

So yeah he’d always catch you, but it comes with a cocky comment about how much you wanna be in his arms. Beware.

Randomly springs trust falls on everybody and gets pissed if they let him fall.

He will catch you.

Shino Aburame

He’ll catch you… but he’s so confused.

Don’t do that again…

He’s a little scared?

Might think something is wrong, but he kinda finds it cute when he finds out there is no real reason for it. Like you jumped in HIS arms? 🥹

He’s not up for the trust fall shit, but he’ll catch you if you do it anyways.

Hinata Hyuga

Catches you, but she is nervous and startled.

She probably says something heroic sounding like “I will never drop you.”

She’s sad when you get down out of her arms.

She’ll trust you in a trust fall and catch you too.

Neji Hyuga

Probably steps back and then gets just a little upset that he didn’t catch you, especially if you get hurt.

That or you knock you both down to the ground.

He’ll tell you that you shouldn’t have done that, but he’s sorry.

Same goes for trust falls.

He’s not doing them though, not unless you annoy him half to death to do it.

Rock Lee

He catches you enthusiastically, probably hugs you tightly too.

Now he’s got an idea, and next time, when you least expect it, he’s gonna do the same thing. He ends up knocking you both to the ground because at the speed he jumped, even if you catch him, you’re both going down…

Another type to scream “TRUST FALL!” And fall, and expect you to catch him. He will get up like nothing and say “let’s try again!” If you don’t catch him

He’ll always catch you though.

Tenten

Catches you and wraps her arms around you as she processes what you did.

She’s startled and maybe even a little alert, but when she pieces it together and realizes it’s you, she slowly puts you down.

She’s willing to do trust falls. She’ll catch you if you catch her. But if you prank her, she will give you that energy back.

Gaara of the Sand

He got startled and the sand blocked you…

He apologizes and probably lightly warns or scolds you about not jumping at him suddenly.

Tells you that you can try again.

He won’t do trust falls, but he’ll catch you with his sand if you do one.

Kankuro of the Sand

He let you fall.

Thought it’d be funny at first, but he’d feel like a total dickhead if you get hurt.

He won’t apologize though, but it’ll be obvious he regrets his decision.

Probably still tells you not to do sudden things like that, or more so, stop putting yourself in danger.

He’s not doing trust falls. If it’s the first time you attempt to jump or fall, again, he’s letting you fall.

Temari of the Sand

She’ll catch you, but immediately puts you down.

Tells you not to jump so suddenly.

Won’t do trust falls, even if she trusts you. Thinks it’s stupid and definitely not happening.

She’ll catch you though, then scold you for doing it.

| REQUESTED, Gaara cries, learning to accept not everyone uses him and that there are people who truly do love him

“Why do they love me?” That’s the first question that Gaara asked his brother when he’d entered the office. Kankuro had been so caught off guard that he didn’t know what to say.

“Why does… Y/N?” He tilts his head, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly. “I dunno, man, you’re gonna have to ask them about that. It’s not something I can really answer for them.”

Gaara simply nods and turns back to the paperwork in front of him. He didn’t really know what truly pushed the question into his head. He was remembering his childhood, trying to single out the good times, the fun, the love…

He remembers the fear, though. The fear his siblings had for him, the people he now calls his friends, and how anyone in the Sand Village looked at him, he remembers that distinctly. He remembers children being told not to go near him, that he wasn’t safe to play with.

And then he thinks of you. From the Leaf Village. You’d given up everything to come to the Sand Village to be with him. When you’d first met you hadn’t shown him fear or anger like everyone else. You’d shown confusion and compassion, even curiosity. You were intrigued by him and you found him fascinating despite the fact that he’d almost killed one of your best friends in the preliminaries in the chunin exams.

He was wary of you up until around the time he took over as the Kazekage. You often paid him and his siblings visits, bringing gifts from your own missions. It wasn’t until Kankuro pushed him to confront you that you admitted your feelings to him and he struggled to wrap his head around it. Yet, he admitted to feeling quite fond of you and was willing to try a relationship if that was what you truly wanted.

So you did.

The two of you maintained a relationship through letters for a few months until you tired of it and opted to leave behind your life, friends and family in the Leaf Village just to be closer to Gaara. The act in itself confused him. No one had ever shown him as much love as you had by giving up everything you knew. And even still, he granted you permission to act as a jonin in the Sand Village.

What bothered him after was worrying for your safety in the various missions he sent you. Logically he knew you were strong and he had nothing to worry about, but the ache in his chest would not settle until he could see you for himself, often leading to him showing up at your doorstep when you should have been sleeping. A solution you proposed to him was that the two of you should move in together, taking the next step in your relationship while allowing him to keep an eye on you and make sure you were resting and healing after missions.

That’s what made waiting for you to come home again so hard. He needed an answer to the question he’d asked his brother. He needed to know you were safe and unharmed, yet he knew you wouldn’t be home until well after midnight if everything went according to plan.

So when you finally do arrive home, imagine your surprise seeing him sitting at the kitchen table, his head on his arms seemingly asleep. You set your bag down, walking over and crouching slightly to wake him up. Your hand finds his shoulder, squeezing while your other hand finds his knee. “Gaara, my love, come on. Let’s get you into bed…” You smile softly and stand as he stirs, sitting up in the chair.

When you turn away, his hand slips around your wrist and pulls you back. “Why do you love me?” That certainly wasn’t what you were expecting to hear. “I’m a monster. I have done…” He couldn’t finish that thought. He didn’t want to hear you agree with him.

But instead, you step forward as he looks up at you, pushing his legs apart and standing between them. Your arms go around his shoulders, pulling him into your chest. You tangle your fingers in his hair, leaning down to kiss his forehead. “I love you because you make me happier than I have ever been in my whole life. What you have done while you were not yourself does not define who you are. Who you are now and what you do now, that is why I love you. When I think of being happy and my future, I do not see a future without you by my side, my love.”

At this point, you could feel his tears seeping through your shirt, your grip only tightening in realization. “When I wake up in the morning, the first thing I think of is you. I’m so happy that I get to wake up beside you, as well as go to sleep beside you. My chest feels… full when I’m with you, when I simply think of you. I love you for you. And I love you for who I am when I’m with you. I’m the best I can be because of you and because I want to make you happy.”

As he sobs quietly in your arms, you rock him, patient as always and allowing him his moment of weakness without judgement. That’s one of the reasons he loved you so. He was allowed to be weak with you without fear that he’d be judged or taken advantage of. With you and your reassurances, he knows he’ll always be loved and safe.

hiiii!! sorry if this is kinda specfic but could i rq neji and gaara + anyone else you would like with a reader (romantic or close friends type thing, up to you!!) that grew up with older siblings (a kind of big-ish age gap? like they were around 8 or so when the reader arrived) and the reader + their siblings are all competitive over ANYTHING, so they love to rub it into each other alot (like a "heyyy big sib, remember when i beat you in a match of rock paper scissors and you promised me hotpot? well i want to cash in my reward now") just like a 'healthy' siblings dynamic, they aren't scared of inviting [insert character] into these little games, cause they just want them to let loose a little,,, so kind of just fluff, kind of like character getting to know s.o/readers family outside of formalities or important clan thingies,,,,

Neji Hyuga

He’s just a little jealous.

He admires your dynamic with your older siblings

The way you all bicker, compete over food, etc.

And especially the way you all have each other’s backs. Your older siblings, despite being quite a bit older than you, might bicker with you like your close in age, but they have the clear older sibling role.

All of them protect you. (Like how they all warned him not to hurt you. He won’t, but he admittedly was scared)

He keeps his distance from all of you when you’re bickering or competing though because he made the mistake of not doing so once, and he blinked and suddenly he was in the middle of a food fight…

He pretends not to hear you when you ask him to defend you, because he’s not getting involved and used as collateral.

If all of you decide to go out to eat and purposely seek him out to go with you all because he’s “part of the family,” he will be so happy (inwardly, he doesn’t show it)

He ends up involved in random games you all play together, usually as your partner in those games. He’s tired, but he’s so grateful.

Gaara of the Sand

Reminds him of his older siblings once he recovered and amended their relationships.

He’s glad you’ve always at that support system. He knows how important it is and how nice it is.

You have a much larger gap with your siblings than he does with his siblings though, so he wonders how you guys have anything in common at first. It’s hard to see how somebody 8 years older than you would share your interests or hobbies or anything really.

There is a rather large gap between him and Temari and they get along fine though, so he takes to just watching you and your siblings from afar.

He notices how you all bicker and argue. You’re clearly competing, but you’re laughing.

Any mean comments are taken lightly and don’t go too far.

He finds himself smiling.

Until he’s being dragged by the wrist to split some sort of tie. He’s startled, but goes along with y’all and tries to help.

If your siblings ever refer to him as family, his eyes will light up. He’s so happy to be included.

Gaara was seething. Watching quietly as you were being fawned over by Rock Lee. The poor man didn’t even realize what was coming. He was one of Gaara’s closest friends in spite of their history with one another. And on top of that, Gaara couldn’t even be mad when he hadn’t told anyone how he felt when it came to you.

Lee smiles brightly at you, telling you all about his most recent round of training with Guy. You’re nodding along attentively when you feel someone watching you. Your gaze flickers over the man’s shoulder, spotting the glare he shoots in your direction. Your eyes widen and your cheeks flush as you avert your gaze, excusing yourself quietly from Lee as you head into the kitchen to get a glass of water.

Gaara follows you in, slipping away from his siblings who had been trying to distract him. They hadn’t seen him that angry in ages and it was worrying. “You and Rock Lee seem close.”

You turn to look at him, startled. “I didn’t hear you come in.” He remains silent and you shrug, sipping your water. “He’s nice. We’re not close or anything, but no one else was talking to me… But he came up to me. It was nice not being alone.”

“I would have talked to you.” He said it as if it was a fact. And it was in a way. The minute he got here, he was planning on tracking you down and spending the evening glued to your side like he often did when he visited the Leaf Village. If he wasn’t with Rock Lee or handling official business, he was by your side, never straying too far. Almost like a shadow. It didn’t matter whether you were shopping for groceries or even training, he wouldn’t be too far from you.

When he first started to do it, he would often disappear from his siblings and cause them a great deal of panic and distress. Kankuro and Temari would often find themselves searching through every square inch of the village. And after a while, they learned that all they had to do was find you and Gaara wouldn’t be far.

Your face flushes. “You were late getting here.”

You were right. And what was he supposed to say to that? They’d left the Sand Village later than they usually do and their whole schedule had been put off. “I’m sorry.”

You smile up at him, shaking your head, “Don’t be. Just stop acting so jealous when I talk to Lee. You looked like you were going to hurt him.” You step forward and slip your arms around his shoulders, hugging him close.

Affection was something that was still relatively new to him, but he allowed it with you. You had explained that it was one of the ways that you liked to express how you felt and he was hesitant at first. After a while, when he saw how happy it made you, how the smile on your face made his chest feel warm, he allowed it more often than when the two of you first started showing affection towards one another. He didn’t tense up anymore unless you surprised him with it, but when he was expecting it, he hugged you back immediately, just like now.

“I missed you, Gaara.” It had been three months since he last visited the Leaf Village and a month since you’d been to the Sand Village where you’d visited him. Four long weeks without the man.

“I… I missed you too.” He whispers, almost as if he was afraid anyone else would hear him. Those words were meant for you and only you. They were something sacred for you and no one else was special enough to hear those words fall from his lips. “I don’t like you smiling like that at anyone else,” he whispers.

It was almost an unspoken thing between the two of you. You had an inkling of how he felt and you’d confessed to him once before, months ago. However, he was extremely unsure of how he felt as this was all new to him. Thankfully, you were you. Perfectly patient and understanding. You were willing to wait. And while it’d been almost half a year since you confessed to him, hearing him say those words to you was surprising and comforting all at the same time. You finally had the answer that you were hoping you’d receive.

He felt the same way you did.

He didn’t necessarily know how to put it in words. He was never really good with those.

But his actions spoke volumes on how he felt, his grip on you tightening ever so slightly to prevent you from slipping away from this dream he was experiencing. His nose nudges up against your temple and his lips ghosting over your cheek. He wasn’t quite ready to kiss you, but he knew you’d be patient with him, showering him with affection and reminding him of how you felt. And that was more than enough for him.
