To anyone who has side blogs and may not know this because I certainly didn’t:

When you block someone (like say, a porn bot) who followed one of your side blogs, it only blocks them from your main, so they are still following your side blog. To block them from following your side blog, you have to go on desktop, click on the relevant side blog, click settings, scroll all the way down to blocked tumblrs, click edit, and then manually type in the username of the person/bot you are blocking before hitting block.

This has been a PSA ~signed by one exasperated Gab who spent an hour today going through all of the blogs I have ever blocked and manually blocking them on both active side blogs because I didn’t know which ones were following me where since after you block them from your main, they’re hidden in the page that tells you who follows you on your side blogs

Hey uh, is this blog dead now?

[No, sorry, I keep forgetting to make a post. There's been a few things going on in my life that's been making it hard to do things at times, and I really needed to focus on job hunting. I'm hopeful I'll actually have something within the next week, but until I actually have a job, I'm not going to be able to get on here to do this.

With that said, I also kinda forgot I left this on a cliffhanger too? 😅 Oops! Frisk is fine, everyone's fine, there's just going to be some hurt feelings between Frisk and Flowey, but like, everyone is okay lol Also, I didn't realize how hard and demanding it was going to be to keep the rule that every physical day corresponds to a day in the RP world until I felt like I had to come on here everyday to do it and tried doing that to an extent, so from now on, when I'm on here and actively role playing, that day will match up with a day in the RP world (like, if it's 1:00pm in my time zone, MST, it'll be 1:00pm for Frisk) but the cycles won't move forward during the time I'm not actively role playing. So I forgot when I last came on here, but from that day to when Frisk gets back on here, no time will have passed in the RP world. Well, it'll be the immediate next cycle because Frisk is going to take the time to talk to Toriel and Flowey for the rest of the cycle that I left off of, but time won't advance for them beyond that.

Again, I'm really sorry I haven't come on here to say all this before. I legitimately forgot, and every time I'd remember, I'd be busy doing something else and forget again.]

Hey y'all, idk if the right people are going to see this post or not, but please please if you're going to follow me, please do something with your blog to make it look inhabited? If you haven't reblogged anything yet, that's fine as long as you either have a post saying that you're not a bot, changed your profile pic (to something that is not a picture of a real person preferably!), gave yourself a blog title, and/or noticeably changed your account's appearance in some way like choosing a different color background or something. I just got 4 empty accounts following me within the last hour, and I blocked two automatically, but I left the other two alone because one of them had a personalized icon and background color and stuff, and I realized that the other accounts might not have been bots.

I know people keep saying this, and I know y'all are probably tired of hearing this, but we just had/are having a big wave of porn bots following literally everyone for the past couple of months. I haven't seen anyone bring this up, but honestly, I suspect the resurgence might be because before then, with the new wave of Twitter and tiktok migrators coming in with empty accounts because they didn't know the culture, people started realizing the empty accounts were real people and at least some (me included) probably did stop blocking them for a time to try and give everyone a chance to see the posts telling them to add something to their account, and whoever is behind the bots took it as an opportunity to attack again. I'm back to blocking empty accounts on sight, and I know everyone else is too, so I can't stress this enough, please do something to show that you are human

i hate what ARAs did to people's perception of ethical dog breeders. it's adding insult to injury to accuse them of being animal abusers and contributing to overpopulation when that has never been the case. they are more oft than not people who care so deeply about dogs they sink all of their money, time, and resources into something that is no more than a hobby in many peoples' eyes. they're keeping an incredibly amazing part of history alive, and working hard to imrpove on their dog's health and performance with every breeding. It's always done out of love and care for their breed, and for dogs in general. no good breeders wants to see their dogs end up in shelters or on the streets and they will do their due diligence to keep any dog they produce in a loving and appropriate home. It's not a perfect system, by all means. Some breed clubs can actively promote harmful standards and there's often some infighting with every breed. But there are so many more compassionate people involved in the purebred community than there are bad actors. and they deserve respect, not to be spat on by detractors and people who will never understand the value in preserving history.
