Koga in my universe is like the stern but cool dad that tries his absolute best to make sure his children don't murder each other.

Janine and Gabriel might love each other as siblings, but they are also rivals. One Is a gym leader, one is champion. Jealousy would obviously arise.

New retcon/change in my AU

Gabriel (Leafgreen) is a venusaur instead of a ninetales.

His quirk is that his spores released from the flower on his back are not toxic, they actually can heal wounds.

He is skinny for an anthro venusaur but still a bit chubby compared to a normal human. His hair is now green instead of a light brown, and he's super huggable.

Gabriel has an extremely high tolerance to toxic substance ingestion. Not as high as Koga, who is essentially the Rasputin of the Pokemon universe in that he basically cannot be poisoned, but still extremely high.

One time he was given a glass of antifreeze (a highly toxic substance) and told to down it. He did so, and commented on how sweet it was. 2 days later, he was still alive, but had a minor stomach ache.

Since I beat Leafgreen, I thought I would do a bit on my protag OC I used in the game.

Leafgreen Protag OC

Name: Gabriel Zephyr Nightshade

Age: 20 (became Pokemon champion at 16, resigned after 2 years to train, and came back 2 years later to become champion again)

Birthplace: Fuchsia City, Kanto

Family: Delia Nightshade (mother), Koga (father), Janine (sister).

Job: Champion of Kanto, Video game streamer (part time).

Type specialty: Poison (Venusaur and Nidoqueen) and Normal (Fearow [part normal] and Persian)

Personality: Intimidating yet kind, Gabriel is a man of tradition, keeping the values of his father Koga. He loves his own Pokemon and treats them like his children, caring and mentoring them. He seems terrifying due to his status of champion and son of Koga, but he is a brave and caring person underneath the exterior. He mostly prefers silence, but speaks when he wants to.

Relationships: Despite being rough and intimidating on the surface. Gabriel adores his dad, looking up to him as a mentor. He also loves his mother and sister. He has a friendly rivalry with Janine.

Appearance: A close resemblance to Red, Gabriel has some distinct features. His skin is much more tan, after long days of working in the garden with his Venusaur. His hair is a mix between brunette and a deep purple like his father. He is slightly overweight, but extremely muscular after years of training hand to hand combat alongside his primeape.
