Zen Gaho:

You can see the unfamiliar darkness creeping in his features, the frown marring Zen’s features leaving you unsettled.

Iori had told you that he spoke with him, that it was a meeting from Zen’s past that had put him in his odd mood, but that did nothing to silence your anxieties. You tried not to crowd him as he was clearly not in a talking mood but you were worried for the man you loved, the one you knew would provide you a shoulder to lean on no matter the circumstance. But you had never had a problem showing him your weak side, while Zen never allowed you to see past his beautiful muscular surface, truly putting on the mask that he was the perfect everyman who could flex a muscle and cause enemies to fall to their knees.

You’re worried that you’re stepping over a boundary when you entered his room, knocking but not waiting for his response. He was seated on his bed but the blank look had remained, eyebrows furrowed when his eyes came back into focus and he saw that you were standing in his doorway. He had opened his mouth, probably to ask if you needed something, but it seemed he didn’t have the strength to ask. He simply bowed his head in greeting and tried to make himself look busy, perhaps because he already sensed how anxious you were without a word having to be spoken.

Zen had always provided you with a sense of safety, and that wasn’t just in the physical sense. You had always felt held by him, your emotions safe in his hands; your worries for the future, your fear of what may lay on the horizon, Zen handled them with care and provided motivation that kept you walking forward rather than standing still. He knew what you needed before you did, a bright smile on his face, an invitation to take a walk with him on his lips, he’d whisk you away from reality for a moment however he could and have you coming back refreshed enough to face all your troubles.

You wanted to be that for him, but he did those things because he knew that’s what you needed. Simply mirroring his actions wouldn’t be enough, you had to truly think and search inside your minds eye to recognize how you can help him. And you had come up with that solution before arriving to his room.

“Zen.” You say his name with such warmth it fills the emptiness in his chest in an instant, snapped back to attention again as your hands envelop his face and you hold his cheeks. “I love you.”

Three simple words, a phrase so short yet it held so much weight – the kiss on the lips truly sealed the deal.

Zen reached out to you, his head ducking to rest against your chest as you held him, fingers gently ranking through his hair. Talking about his feelings, especially in this situation, would be hard. Your knowledge of his trauma had come from Iori, who you felt held back certain details for Zen’s sake but still let you in on exactly why Zen hid himself away when he was having his trap reaction.

He gripped you tighter, his voice muffled as he finally found the strength to speak and respond, “I love you, too.”

lowkey if revalink were youtubers they would beef so hard like it would be worse than the j*mes ch*rles beauty community controversy of 2019. like i need someone to make that one meme of the tati westbrook 'breaking my silence' meme but it's zelda and the video would be her complaining about how annoying link and revali are on the internet like she has nothing to do with the drama she just is sick of them 😭

i have some ideas for more specific youtuber aus with revalink like the kpop stans to lovers au and the recent hip hop dancers au ask with lovely oomf @cryiling, but outside those aus, i kinda enjoy the idea of link doing dance covers vs revali doing singing covers but that might just be my inner choir kid speaking LMFAO

imagining them both starting to gain traction, and someone jokingly tweeting about how revalink babies would be the most musically talented people alive, only for revali to qrt with "As if I'd ever have a child with someone like him." and it causes The Drama Ever. just revalink constantly subtweeting each other and feeding the flames of the controversy and their friends being fucking tired of them complaining about each other irl. revalink subtweet so viciously about each other to the point where people start qrting like "you guys fight like a married couple" or "i just Know the hatesex go crazy" 😭😭

the drama just keeps getting worse until both revali and link have the same idea at the same exact time to post a video of them performing the other's talent, e.g. link will do a song cover and revali will do a dance cover, to prove that they're better than their respective peer. link does a cover to 'stay here' by gaho and revali does a cover to the orchestral version of 'black swan' by bts and it's genuinely. incredible, show stopping, amazing like. everyone knew link was a good dancer and revali was a good singer, but now they're good at each other's thing?????

it doesn't just stop at each other's fanbases. of course revalink watch each other's video in secret LMAO and the look on each other's faces when they watch each other's videos... link is blushing open-mouthed because goddamn revali has an insane amount of body control to be pulling this choreography off..... revali starting entranced at his computer screen with link's song cover on loop, unable to turn away from the screen like he's a sailor to a siren, link hits those high notes beautifully..... you know what, maybe having kids with each other wouldn't be a bad idea......... 😊

Chungsung Baek:

Chungsung thinks it’s so cute when you ask things of him, especially when you were so polite about it, but he wanted to know how badly you wanted to doll him. He wants you to bind his hands and legs so he can’t escape, completely at your mercy as you straddled his waist and did his make up while his back was on the ground. He lays nice and still for you as you paint his face into a work of art, knowing you should keep this scenario locked away for later to show your gratitude.

Iori Suiseki:

As long as you make him look cool and flashy, Iori would be game for it. He thought you were cute when you were focused, having to resist leaning forward to steal kisses while you were working on his face. He tried to behave as he didn’t want to mess up your beautiful make-up artistry but he sure hoped any lipstick you put on him dried quickly, as he had to provide proper payment once your work was done.

Shion Kaida:

Shion’s eyebrow raised at the question, head tilting as he asked if he wasn’t pretty enough for you as he was. He enjoyed the way you fumbled over your words, explaining you had an idea to enhance or bring out his natural beauty rather than trying to change anything about him. He nodded, telling you to do your best work, enjoying the way your attention was completely on him as well as the constant delicate touch as you applied the make up to his skin.

Yohei Kanbayashi:

Yohei is a man who likes a natural look so you can see how wary he looks, but you promise it’s nothing too extravagant or even something he would notice. It was more of a subtle look that would still make him stand out, especially under the harsh lights up on stage. He does have to admire your passion for your hobby (potentially career) but he allowed you to doll him up, as long as you promised to not get offended if he wants to wash it off before performing.

Zen Gaho:

Zen had a hard time telling you no. He doesn’t think you’re the type to paint a clown face on him and call it a day but he didn’t often wear make-up. He didn’t know what kind of plan you might have for him either but he does appreciate that you want to do something for him specifically, as well as you showing off your waterproof make-up supplies you got just for him. He acquiesced to your request, thinking it felt quite nice to be pampered like this regardless of how it might look on his face.
