padmé has primarily spent the last two years working with rebuilding the new republic, attempting to fix the problems of the old republic. she is officially serving as a senator of naboo since it has joined the new republic & held within high esteem on the senate.

she currently is on a committee that pursues helping liberated planets with setting up official governments. she has also drafted several bills regarding anti-slavery laws and trying to bring major galactic travel lanes into republic control, which has been a struggle due to opposing groups such as the new separatists.

Finding herself in a new time was difficult enough for Cienna, with new faces and challenges and threats she had only heard about as stories come to life. Despite this she kept moving forward and focusing on her work, her droids, and trying to find a way to get home.

With the realization of not being able to return to her current time and the death of her brothers Cienna once more resorted to her old habits of thievery, fighting and drinking, trying to deal with the trauma and grief she didn’t think she would or could experience. When not stealing she still worked hard in the rebellion to help as much as she could and distract herself in a different way.

With the constant stealing, fighting and drinking landed Cienna in quite a bit of trouble she still hasn’t recovered from and is trying to avoid getting caught and paying her dues.

anakin quickly found his way into the emperors archives on exegol after the infamous masquerade where he’d announced his presence to the galaxy. he’d seen the fear that had quickly spread through the holonet as fast as the water flowed on naboo in quiet disgust and desperation. he realized so quickly just how terrible vader had been to the galaxy, the emperors dog. to kill and destroy on command. that realization paired with exegols overwhelming presence in the force stirred so many things with in him. 

anakin had initially gone to exegol to find out if he could recreate the emperors rift only to discover it had been a once in many lifetime type of event. so much had to line up in some type of cosmic boom that broke the word between worlds badly enough that he’d be willing to bet they’d feel its after effects for years upon years. recreating it was useless and nearly impossible without the cosmic forces aligning once more. learning this broke him. he spent weeks locked inside sidious’ lair trying to frantically find a solution only to come to an abrupt stop when he’d realized his desperation filled rage had destroyed yet another thing in his life. he left. got on one of the older models of the ships that had been kept here as a backup and just.... left.

anakin drifted through the hyperspace lanes for months until he could feel a nearby planet calling for help --echoing in the force. his blood red saber cut down those who had been pillaging a small village hidden in the planets mountainside. he began leaving a trail of bodies in his wake but never ones without reason anakin skywalker drifted through the galaxy working time to time as a bounty hunter or an assassin but never under his own name.

REY has finally settled in this time. having spent much of her time on her ship with MERRIN she has grown surprisingly close to the woman, a strong bond forming that she’s not quite sure how to deal with. having never been particularly close with anyone before FINN and POE, the relationship has become central to her life, and grounding in her sense of self.

with the help of FINN and POE, REY has been able to find a better sense of herself away from the odd destiny and legacy she felt connected to via LUKE SKYWALKER’S lightsaber. now armed with a double-bladed yellow lightsaber blade, REY was able to craft her own lightsaber.

REY has grown significantly stronger with her connection to the force. having trained with AHSOKA TANO, she’s more confident in her abilities. moreover, BEN SOLO’S turn towards the light side as certainly brought comfort, their relationship having grown closer without the fear of being killed, she worries that a potential turn back to the dark side by her dyad partner may strongly effect her too.

unlike her sister, BO-KATAN’S loyalty to THE NEW REPUBLIC was merely out convenience. her loyalty was clearly to MANDALORE, and she knew with their fallen numbers, it was necessary alliance. that being said, as THE NEW REBULIC grows, BO-KATAN continues to feel more and more uncomfortable with her association.

in the last two years, BO-KATAN has grown more desperate that the DARKSABER is necessary to fully unite MANDALORE. knowing it’s currently under DIN DJARIN’S possession, she plans to confront him about personal options to reinstate the DARKSABER in it’s place of power. 

while her sister has spent time negotiating, BO-KATAN has spent more time trying to find other MANDALORIANS, knowing small cults had grown around the galaxy.

HAN has surprisingly stuck around with THE REBELLION as it shifted into THE NEW REPUBLIC. maintaining his position as a GENERAL, he still manages to keep himself from getting involved in anything too important, still finding time with CHEWBACCA to spend time on their own getting into their own trouble. 

HAN’S relationship with LEIA has certainly grown stronger. if he were being honest, a part of the former smuggler expected her to leave, but instead, HAN was now considering marriage. the only issue was, LEIA was busy building THE NEW REPUBLIC, and finding the time to commit to such a romantic gesture felt more and more difficult. 

despite helping rebuild THE NEW REPUBLIC, HAN and CHEWBACCA have spent an amount of time rewinding themselves in with the scum of the galaxy. most of his work thus far has been to help those displaced by the war, but there’s only so much time, it seems, HAN can keep himself out of trouble.

as much as ahsoka has incredible resilience to difficult situations... the events of the past two years have been an incredible strain on her. she’s lost so much already in her life and she knows she will continue to lose things. but the continuous loss of people she cares for is a heavy weight on her heart

she hasn’t stopped working with the new republic but she has taken a step back to properly find her place in the universe, and in the force. it’s the only way she knows to find balance with everything that’s happened, and all she’s lost in her life so far

she’s undecided on what her future will hold, on whether she should return to the jedi order. she made peace with her choice to leave a long time ago, and she doesn’t know what this new order is truly like - it’s hard to know if she should go back, or even if she would be wanted there anymore

Qui-Gon Jinn went to the wilds in the newly formed Jedi temple. Where he teaches others and helps other Jedi’s feel safe in the temple. Helping others with their connection to their force. This time around, encourages open-thinking and healthy expression of emotions. Though he does warn against unhealthy attachments. 

Though his first student besides Obi-wan Kenboi is Leia Skywalker, she came to him eager and willing to learn. He did take some time to think about it, but he agreed to train her in the ways of the force and how to become one with the force. It made him feel better in a way that he could train the second generation of Skywalker. Made up for not being able to train Anakin, when he was little.

He is now known as Ben Solo but still answers to Kylo Ren. He is fighting with the New Republic now, at his grandmother’s side. - Ben never thought he’d go back to the light, so it’s been a struggle for the last year. He still makes mistakes and doesn’t live by the Jedi’s rules. He can’t bring himself to, not after everything that he’s been through with him. - Ben still has connections and ties to the Dark Side and all those involved and he still speaks to them in private. He is unsure which way his heart will continue to take him.

the walls that her short time with rogue one tore down never went back up, jyn finally found in the rebel alliance the family that the empire had kept taking away from her. for the first time in years jyn carries her real name with pride, hoping that if her parents could see her now they would be proud of her, happy that she finally turned all those years of training (and hardship) into something good, that after being thrown into a fight from a young age, jyn finally decided that it was indeed her fight. 

jyn offered her training as a soldier to the rebellion and later the new republic, she goes where they send her, where she is needed, and is more than happy to take an active role in hunting down the remainders of the empire, not out of vengeance, but for justice, for every person the empire ever hurt. her determination has allowed her to climb the ranks, and she has gone from dying a sargent —out of need so the troops would listen to her— to earning her title of major. major erso, if only saw could see her now.

the guilt of getting a second chance at life became less as it turned into hope, hope that one day she could look across the marketplace and see a familiar place, that the doors will open and they will be back. rogue one. maybe is selfish to wish for them to be back, but if the force decided to give her a second chance, why wouldn’t it be the same for them? if anyone deserves to be back for a second chance is her crew.
